In between RP and real life considerations, any of you play video/PC/board games?
Currently I've been on a bit of a Star Wars: Old Republic resurgence. I'm replaying the Imperial Agent storyline; it's by far my favorite, if only because the story actually has a lot of little variations depending on what choices you made in previous chapters. This goes even as far as the Knights of the Fallen Empire campaign, which is really impressive.
For simpler games, I also am playing Enter the Gungeon. A top-down rogue-like shooter which is out to kill you via bullet-hell, and where your weapons are either ridiculously lethal or laughably pathetic, RNG depending. Disabling the default music and replacing it with heavy metal or any music genre of your choice is my recommendation to get pumped up for the next playthrough.
Board-game wise, whenever I can get the players for it, the XCOM board game has been a favorite of mine. It's a four-player co-op game where everyone takes a role (Commander, Squad Leader, Scientist, Communications) and requires the use of an app to show the flow of the game. Like the original game it's based on, the tutorial can kill you. It's a blast when everyone's working under pressure.
How about the rest of you? What do you all play?
