@The book of bad juju I just read your Character's wish... again because it made me shrug I am curious... what if Rumi's wish came true after Aya's wish specifically says to be unaffected by other wishes, does that mean she lives in a world where the Bakery is still closed down from her perspective

Well, it depends on how the wishing mechanism works, if it's a lawyer genie, a monkey's paw, or something kooky. Really, there's so many factors at play, like if the shop is made out of bricks and mortar or just sheer magic powerz, if Aya was able to control her wish consciously or not, if being aware that a wish is happening counts as a wish affecting or applying to you, etc. The thing is, the one person who would most like to argue all of the sides of this would be Aya herself, so i think we'll probably cross that bridge when we come to it. My intention with writing that wish was to show that Aya's the kind of person who really does scroll all the way to the bottom before clicking "Agree" and loves finding loopholes in these things.

sometimes wishes will work quite literally if this were the case that means she is be excluded in every wish even the good ones

I'm actually quite surprised, but not really, that more people didn't make gimmick decks. With the rules allowing for anybody to have three custom cards which could pretty much be anything, a skilled enough player might have been able to make... I dunno, something like Majestic Mech, Phantom Beast (not Mecha Phantom Beast), or hell. There are enough Mirror Force cards that someone could have made a deck based on Mirror Force using the Mirror Force Dragon. Duston vs Berserker Soul so far has been shaping up to look kinda fun though.

Speaking of. I realize that the conversation on the bus seems to be pointing out how meta changes in the TCG as if that had any bearing on the game on the basis that it follows from the anime. I'm not saying this is really bad or bothersome, but it does break immersion which is definitely not a desired goal here.

if she did get overly popular and did not want to disappoint the people who eat her baked goods and agrees to sell products she would likely ask for permission to open up a bakery and giving out all profits to the academy

It's not my place to comment on this, but you could totally get away with just one counter to negate it's own destruction. Kyoutow Waterfront does it that way, and it gets counters a lot cheaper then having to flip coins or roll dice.

Nah you good, I like feedback. Trying to make it strong but no op strong ya feel? The reason I made it two counters was because it negates the card effect rather than it's own destruction, I don't know if that still merits 1 counter, *shrug*

We're living in a world where B.E.S have a field spell that makes all their monsters untargetable by anything for literally no cost, so it's not too unreasonable for it. And if it did have that effect you'd have to specify that it's a quick effect so it can chain onto things like twin twister and mst, which are instant spells and therefore spell speed 2, unlike field spells that are spell speed 1. Minor quirk of the rules, there.

Yeah. Field spells do way too much now. Also. There is a card that rewards dicerolling/coin flipping coming out: Dueltainment. Among a myriad of other effects, if you rolled a dice/flipped a coin 5 times, you can draw 2 cards.
