Voltron: Galaxy Defenders

So while I have for the most part the concept I want to go on there are some details I wasn't completely sure on, so before I really write up a background and everything I figured I might as well throw out some thoughts and see what the general thought is.

The biggest of which is since the series has always involved Earthlings for the most part. Going on the idea from Voltron: Legendary Defenders (I've never seen Voltron Force, and its been AGES since I've seen the original series) that the lions are being stored away on different planets. That the group can be of different aliens, at least going the notion of keeping the different species human like so the paladin suits don't have to be all crazily different.

Otherwise it will be pretty similar to Legendary Defenders. Zarkon is conquering a lot of the known universe and a group of five young people are brought together because of the lions. Helping the princess of the Alteans (Who if someone wants to make one of the paladins would be alright) and saving the galaxies with Voltron.

I know more about a certain live action show thats uses giant combining robots but I'm interested. All I know about the new show is that Voltron apparently has different forms, will we be using that as well?

Voltron Force each lion could form the center of Voltron.

Voltron: Legendary Defender only Black Lion can form the center. They have weapons that can unlock weapons for Voltron but not forms.

The GM mentioned he never saw Voltron Force and is taking cues from Legendary Defender.

I'm open to OC species.

*Fleet of Doom: A Voltron Movie Special (1986) [Included Lion Voltron and Vehicle Voltron]

*Voltron: The Third Dimension (1998) [takes place 5 years after the original Voltron show]

*Voltron Force (2011) [takes place after The Third Dimension]

*Voltron: Legendary Defender (2016) [reboot of the franchise]

We'll go on a combination, since the black lion pilot will be center and thus the leader. So while there's going to be the personalities that the lions go on. As in...











Like I was already considering my character being the green lion pilot. Since the character is pretty much Pidge with some modifications.

I just rewatched it today. I forgot how little they did in the first season.

I may do both characters. The Galran would fill more of a side roll like Coran minus the stupidity. Coran is easily the worst part of the new series imo.

I'm not disagreeing with you on that, Coran's not completely horrible but I don't exactly miss him when his gone. Especially compared to Princess Allura.

This new Allura I don't like either. When she was taken, I was glad. Then they had to go and get stupid and risk everything to save her knowing they weren't ready for it.
