Yes I know it's well passed the election season (for America), so the last thing you probably want is more politics. But bare with me for some amusement.

Here's a political quiz for all you junkies that need to be affirmed of your own beliefs, or still searching somehow. What this quiz (or set of quizes) does is ask you questions and asks you to rate the importance of these issues in order to match you with a national party. Whether that be the Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Constituionalists, Socialists, or Greens for the US or National Front, Left Front, Le Guache Party for France or UKIP, Lib-Dems, Labour for the UK. The quiz just isn't for American politics! It's mostly global!

Also answers carry over between countries so you don't need to answer the same generic questions every-time you want to check out your relative standings in some foreign country, all that'd be left are the questions and issues pertinent to your country. And answers are more than Yes or No, and can be Yes and No with conditions and you have the option to submit more questions or alternative answers (although I don't know how this works).

Some questions might feel a little 'old', for instance the UK one will ask about Brexit. This is because the tests are tailored for the most recent upcoming election in that country.

These are about on par and in line with my previous tests as well as my biases in the most recent events and voting tendencies; I am considered a "Centerist" with right-wing leanings. However, I need note that I identify as an independent voter and do not pursue my political beliefs outside my own scope, such as by assuming or funding a party.

According to this, I am a centerist that's right-wing leaning. I was surprised by how much I am in the middle of things. I am more surprised that I got 60% towards the (French) Socialist Party while I got 45% towards the (American) Socialist Party. It goes to show you how different politics are in both Europe and America.

I got higher percentages than everyone, which is kinda funny. Might have to do with the fact I looked at the other options for answers and tended to take them since they give explanations of your answers.



holy shit. I didn't expect to even get Jill Stein first because I have a pro-science pro-nuclear stance. Not a major surprise I didn't align with the Constitution party, because even though I do happen to believe some issues are best handled by state or municipal governments, I don't really answer quizzes like that because "The states should take care of it" is such a non-answer.

If I were American, I would of voted Jill or Gary but I think Hillary and Trump are the two worst candidates seen in years.

Ireland

The Labour Party are pussies. Sinn Féin abú. Social Democrats are a group of left-ish independents - no thanks. Republican Sinn Féin are the political wing of the IRA and don't even recognise the Dáil - again, no thanks. Greens are useless and fucked up their only chance years ago. Fine Gael are the exact same as Fianna Fáil - too centrist and split along civil war lines. Renua Ireland are Irish UKIP - lolno.

When our next election comes up, I'll probably vote Sinn Féin and a few local Independents (they fixed the roads, sure).

United Kingdom

I'm happy enough with this. Corbyn is a bit too left for me but I'd be comfortable voting for him. Voting for the British Greens is a waste of a vote but their only MP is supposed to be half decent. Liberal Democrats are class traitors and fucked students so badly I wouldn't even bother. I'm English, not Scottish, so the SNP wouldn't work out for me but they've thrown some solid politicians out since the Independence referendum. I dislike everything the Conservative Party stands for and I think Theresa May is the worst person to have taken the reigns of Britain. UKIP have overstayed their welcome in British politics and probably won't survive the next General Election (I quite like Nigel Farage, though).

I suppose that's how it appears to be, but no. i mean, yes I answered "yes" on some questions, but I did read every option. I even answered every question. And I suppose I shouldn't really be surprised considering I identify as an independent. I even put that at the very bottom when they asked what you identify as.
