The Elemental King and Scarlet Overkill

It all started with the prophecy. The King ruled for the longest time. Nobody really knows how long the King has really ruled for. To be honest, before the prophecy, it was rather peaceful. The Elemental King would only slaughter those who committed crimes. He made an example of whoever he killed, so others would fall in line. After a while, there was no crime. People got used to their new life, their new ruler. Sure, they lived in fear, but a lot of people knew, that if they behaved and followed the rules, no harm would come to them. Then, it happened. The prophecy came, a tale of eight children who would step up and dethrone the Elemental King. After the prophecy came, the Elemental King slaughtered every child he could find in every country and place he owned. Soldiers and Golems ripped babies out of mother's arms, killing them in cold blood. The Elemental King's true colours were shown.

"Scarlet, report, now!"

"Your Majesty, no sign of the chosen ones have been seen yet. What shall you have me do, sir?"

"Hmmmmm.......Good, good but go search again. Look everywhere. Send airships to the skies, submarines and battleships to the sea, search every volcano and every damn city or place with volcanoes. Check every mine, every mountain and any villages nearby. Tear down every church, check every power plant, go to every grave yard! Leave no area unmarked. I want you to send as many soldiers and golems as possible. Zuko, I want you to search too."

With that, the Elemental King rose from his throne as Scarlet and Zuko left the room. He gave a small snicker, before clicking his fingers and with that, he disappeared. Still no sign of the chosen ones. Was the prophecy a lie? Maybe, but he couldn't take any chances. He wouldn't take any chances. No matter what.

Distial

Distial walked over to one of the graves slowly, she pressed her hand on it, and gently pushed the cover from it, revealing a skeleton. She stared at it for a moment, before nodding to herself. She placed a few flowers within the coffin and then returned the lid to it's rightful position. The old, ancient, Temple of Shadows. No light entered the temple. It was always so dark and gloomy. Perfect for her. Of course, she has never gone to the outside world, and never planed to. Hidden deep within an abandoned graveyard. No ordinary person would ever come across it. Although, she wasn't an ordinary person now. In fact, she was born within the Shadow Temple, and now, forever bound to it.

Master Grey

Master Grey, he who is an old man. Over two hundred years old, and still as fit as a fiddle. How does he do it? A man his age would be withered, dead, a mere skeleton. Not him, he walked over to a large map placed on the table and stared at it for a moment. Slowly, he grabbed a small tube and dropped a small blue droplet onto the map. At first, nothing happened, and he let out a sigh, although after a moment, the droplet of water moved suddenly over to the Atlantic Ocean. Master Grey smiled, it was finally time. They had finally shown themselves. Of course, the map only gave a general idea where the elementals were, he would have to find them himself. He rolled up the map and placed it in a bag with everything he needed. It would be a long journey, but he would do whatever it took to find the chosen ones. Slowly a large gate opened, and Master Grey stepped out which revealed a huge underground cave. Hastily, Master Grey began his journey, walking out of his home.

Julia

Julia walked slowly around the village. Her soft blue eyes studied the area for a moment. She took the bag from the back and then placed it down on the floor. She took out a quick map for a moment and gave a small smile, nodding to herself. She had a feeling something was hidden here, it was just a feeling in her gut. After all, this was the closest village to the Elemental King's Castle. There had to be something here, right? Maybe? She didn't know but she hoped. She had been searching for a while, and she hoped that she could do whatever she could to help. She placed the map away, then zipped up her bag and placed it back on her back, sighing softly. For now, she would just wait. Soon, the Chosen Ones would appear, and when that time comes, her purpose would reveal itself.

Seth

Seth sat upon her house, watching the village from high above. She had lived in this village for years now. In fact, she was the leader of a resistance against the tyrant king. She smiled to herself, still in her armour of course. Her sword sheathed and away. She never took of her battle armour, never. She was a born warrior, she was just itching for a fight. She jumped down from the building and stretched herself out with a yawn. It was time she set out once more to do another search for the elementals. Although, just as she was about to start walking, Seth jumped back quickly as over two hundred golems flew past her at the very least. She watched as they all split and went in different directions. Shortly after, soldier after soldier marched forward in a hurried pace. Some followed Scarlet, while some would go with Zuko. Others would go off in groups on their own. It seemed the Elemental King was doing another search. Seth looked up to the sky and as expected Air Ships, Gun Ships and Jets flew through the sky. The army was most impressive. She had to hurry, with this kind of search the Elemental King was bound to find one of the chosen ones eventually. Quickly, Seth hurried her pace, she had to find one of the Chosen Ones, she just had to.

Wolf

Wolf ran along the buildings quickly, inspecting the large town. He flipped back for a moment, and hid within a small bush. All seemed peaceful for the moment, he smiled, and nodded to himself. He then ran along behind the buildings some more, who was he, what was he? A spy, that is who he was. He had been watching the town for some time now. After all, it was the closest town to the Elemental King's Castle, and yet, it seemed so peaceful. He huffed a little, then again, a lot of places seemed peaceful. After all, those who followed the law of the king were never harmed. Suddenly, he saw dozens of air ships, gun ships and jets fly overhead, then he heard several fog horns and turned to see battle ships and submarines setting off. It seemed the King was making his move again. He watched for some time, before jumping off a building and ran down the street. There, he met up with one of the patrols of the King's Army. For now he would follow them.

Raiden

Raiden surveyed the town closer, he had never been here before. Apparently, it was called, the Town of Elderson. It was an interesting place, rather peaceful too, too peaceful in fact. He had a bad feeling to be honest. One that didn't settle well for him. It made him feel on edge, it was then that he caught sight of the King's Army, quickly, he hid himself and stayed silent. He was not getting involved in a fight with an entire army, not on his own anyway. That was quite literally a death wish.

Korta

Korta lived peacefully within a secluded little village. Way out the way of the Elemental King. Volcanic Village, a name given to the village because of the volcano that lived above it. The volcano, Mt Steam, it was hundreds of years old. Still, it hadn't erupted. Well, if it had, the Village Chief would handle it. She wasn't an elemental but she had the power to do so. The entire village, each resident was a Tribal Person. It wasn't a normal village. It was a Tribal Village. Korta was in front of the Chiefs Hut, her home as she drew pictures into her notepad. She did this so she could quickly use them if she needed to. She had to be prepared. She had to be ready whenever the Chosen Ones showed up.

Isabella, Seth, Raiden and Wolf

Isabella ran quickly, her scythe out, covered in blood. She was panting heavily, she looked back and as she did, a twenty five golems chased her. A few of them fired fireballs, lightning bolts, and whatever else they possessed. She continued to run, and quickly pointed her hand to a boulder, using the particles from that, she made herself as hard as rock, allowing her to take a few hits before more blood spilled out but it was nothing compared to what she would of taken. She ran into the village, continuing to pant as she ran in, she fell to the ground. She looked back to see the golems continuing to chase her. She sighed softly, she was badly injured, covered in cuts, bruises and blood. She needed help, she needed to find somebody, she quickly got herself up and continued to run. She could heal herself with her power, but she hadn't the energy to do so.

She kept running but she had fallen over. She was done for, dead, or so she thought. It was then that a woman who possessed a huge sword with razor sharp edges came jumping down off a building and sliced one of the Golems in half. She then span around and threw her sword in the chest of another. She reached out her hand and the sword came back to her on it's own.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of these."

The golems however, were going to be a bigger problem than she realised. As earth began to surround her, with the floor beginning to grow hotter by the second. A huge lightning storm had appeared, while gale winds were knocking her off balance. Shadows were holding her in place, and she was blinded by the light. Metal from the earth was beginning to wrap around her and trap her, finally water was beginning to fill the confined space Seth was in. Within minutes, she too would die. However it was then that Raiden jumped down. Energy covered his blade, extending it to a long powerful sword. He slashed one of the golems, then span around and slashed another, immediately, he grabbed his gun blade and shot a huge energy blast at another Golem, destroying three quickly. It was then that a huge werewolf jumped down with a sword on his back. Wolf had appeared. He grabbed his sword and attacked a few of the golems himself. While Wolf and Raiden began to take out the golems, Seth used the chance to escape by jumping on wall to wall, until she reached the top of the earth walls that surrounded her, she then jumped down and joined the fight. Within a few minutes, all the golems were destroyed. Seth turned to Isabella and gave her a small smile.

"Are you alright? You must be pretty important if all those golems were after you. My name is Seth, who are you?"

It was then that Raiden stepped forward and gave a simple nod.

"It was lucky that we were all here, you would of died otherwise. My name is Raiden."

Afterwards, Wolf stepped up and spoke himself.

"You can call me Wolf."

He transformed back into his normal form and shook his fur. Each and every one had got cuts and bruises on them. Isabella slowly stood up with a sigh and gave a small smile to each of them.

"My name is Isabella, and I am searching for the Chosen Ones. I have possible known whereabouts to their locations. The Elemental King has already stolen all of my data, well most of it. I kept it on a map where the best places to search would be, now he has it."

She sighed, and slowly, Seth, Wolf and Raiden all nodded to her. The situation was worse than they thought. Things were getting bad, and it wouldn't be long until the elementals, if they were here would be forced to reveal themselves whether they liked it or not.

Ciana & Trico

"You're making the Elder have heart palpitations. Would you please come down from there?"

A male voice that was not her own echoed through her mind, deep yet still holding tones of youth. Ciana glanced far down below, spying figures standing on a platform near one of the temple entrances. Trico was unmistakable, mighty form towering over the monks at his side. She could still see the blue tint of his eyes even from as high up as she was. The monks were jabbering to each other, pointing up at her before pointing up at Trico.

"They said if you refuse to come down, I'll have to come up there and get you."

Ciana groaned from her position of clinging to the many hand and foot-holds of the tower. Honestly, they treated her like she was made of glass. "But I wanted to see how high I could climb today. It's no fun using the light bridges and my wings. Besides, I'll get fat if I don't exert myself." She complained to her friend, feeling the beast heave a mental sigh. "Fine, I'll come down." She grumbled as a cheeky grin stole over her face. Since the monks were ruining her fun, why not have fun while still doing as they wished? Releasing the rock, she let gravity grab hold of her and send her falling downwards. She could hear the alarmed shouts of the monks as bright light burst from her back in the form of wings. They snapped open and her fall turned into a lazy, circling glide until she had descended down to their level, perching lightly on Trico's back.

The great beast turned his snake-like head and stared at her, gaze part amused, part exasperated. "You're going to give me a heart-attack one of these days by doing that, even if I know you could fly and I know I could catch you if you couldn't." Ciana laughed, falling face-first into the feathers on his neck as she began to rub them, calming her friend down.

"Ciana Ignatius!"

The voice boomed from the ground and Ciana winced, slowly crawling forward until her head was peeking out from Trico's feathers as she looked down at the Elder's unamused glare. "Oh boy." She whispered to herself.

Raven and Orphine

Silence governed the small mining town whose population went from 250 to 2 in just a day. However, should one search for the people who now inhabits the town in the houses, they would find only the trace of them by finding fresh clothes and some food dropped on the floor. However, they would find no trace of the inhabitant's physical presence for they are not within the houses. Beside the old mining shaft is an uncharacteristically large mound of metal. It seems to just be there. Perhaps it was simply something that has been melted down and placed there? Or maybe a guardian for the mine? Anyhow, deep within the mine is a male whose hair is as black as the darkness and whose eyes were as red as blood. He was simply sitting there, meditating.

Raven always felt at ease whenever he's around the familiar feel of the mine - of the metals that he can control. "Hey~ Raven~" He visibly flinched as the familiar voice rang inside his head. He was the man with telepathy but Orphine and he had some sort of telepathic relationship. Sometimes, he wished they hadn't so she wouldn't disturb him. "Raven... aren't you done yet?"

"You're still as impatient as ever hm?" Raven replied, prying open one eye and looked into the darkness. "Are you hungry?" That was usually her problem. He heard a grunt meaning 'yes' and then he stood up. He dusted himself off and then began navigating himself out of the tunnel without the help of any light. The ones that had been holding up these tunnels were wood, yes, however they were embedded with metals. The village had helped him out with practicing with his element - such as sensing them. Controlling came soon after. By this time, however, he had memorized the whole tunnel. After all, it hadn't changed for these past few years where he simply stayed here.

Before he exited, he placed his hand on the earth wall and pulled out several metal pieces of varying kinds and then went out. He shut his eyes for a moment because of the bright light and then turned to the large mound of metal. He tapped the metal and it outstretched into a full dragon around the size of a horse. Orphine stretched and then looked at Raven expectantly. He didn't need telepathy to know what that meant. He threw the metals to her direction and then she opened her large jaws and then clamped down on it.

"What are you planning on doing now Raven?" Orphine asked walking towards her master and then lying down, head propped up. "It's been years since the bandits, years since the so-called prophecy... do you really think it's going to happen?" Raven was going to lie if he said that he didn't think about that. Perhaps this prophecy was simply wrong. What if he was just waiting for a destiny that isn't his? He wasted years staying at that place, waiting for someone to claim him and go on a quest to defeat the Elemental King. Now wouldn't that be funny. However, this was what he had decided to do. Some merchants still pass by and that has ensured his survival.

And so he shall wait. Whether it be the force of the Elemental King or the ones who would create the group, he will wait for them to come.

BANOKLES

Banokles woke up as the first rays of sun touched his eyes. Slowly getting up on his feet, he looked at the bright blue sky. “Seems today would be a good day to walk around the house”, He thought to himself. For him house was another word for home, and till couple of years ago did not know it was a word for an actual building.

Jumping head first into the lava, he traveled along with it to the lava pool that was more at the edge of volcanic terrain.
Carefully checking that no one was around he rose from the lava and slowly walked out of the pool and went towards teh nearby trees. Full of excitement, he went and check the trees for any kinds of animals he could find hoping he would find some he didn't know yet. While most of them escaped as he approached, the insects and animals with camouflage stayed hoping he would pass them by, the hope was short lived.

Banokles went from one tree to the other, never stopping at any of them for more than two seconds, he was like a small child in a large playground with too many interesting things. At the one of the threes he found a large horned beetle, taking a sunbath on teh trunk of teh tree. At first Banokles was mesmerised by teh beautiful colours of the beetles armour and how it would change colours if looked at from different angles.

As he was observing the little thing, he started to feel the cold of the air and the soft breeze of midday on his bare skin. He thought about setting his feet on fire, but decided against it, as the last time he tried it he burned half of the forest with it. Deciding to ignore the cold feeling he picked up the beetle like he would pick up a rock, and naturally the beetle disliked that and tried to fly of, once realising it was trapped in a rude human's hand it began to fight for his life and bit Banokles, making him flinch. Banokles let out a yell, released teh battle and retracted his arm looking at his bitten palm. The only sight of the bite were two small red dots on his palm. Banokles inflamed his hand for a second making the wound disappear. Shrugging his shoulders he ran after the beetle, his earlier incident already forgotten.

He could feel his body getting colder and feeling tired himself. Ignoring the feeling as he ran after the beetle, as it flew through the air to the next perfect spot for sunbathing.

By teh time Banokles reached it, he was cold, hungry and tired.
Because of his constant living inside the volcano he did not truly understand those feelings and what they meant, since they would go away if he would take a bath in the core of the volcano.

This time he slowly tried to get the beetle to climb to his hand. At first the beetle tried to ignore the irritating man, but seeing how stubborn teh man is, and noting the warmth of his hands he gave in and positioned onto teh stranger's hand.

Banokles lifted teh hand with teh beetle up to his eyes so he could have a better look at teh fascinating creature. For awhile he moved around with teh beetle on his hand. By the time he decided to release the beetle he was shivering from cold.

He neared a tree and slightly leaned his palm on the trunk, thinking the beetle will move to it. But to teh insect teh warm and soft palm Of Banokles seemed better than the cold hard tree trunk. Banokles annoyed by the beetles lack of will to cooperate with him, he tried to give it a little push with his other hand's finger. The beetle disliking the idea fluttered his wings and turned its head towards the poking finger with his pincers opened as a sign of protest. Banokles who was growing ever more cold and miserable, got irritated by teh beetles reaction and decided to try shoving it of his hand which ended in teh beetle biting his finger.

The pain flared teh anger in Banokles and such, for a moment his hands burned with fierce fire, incinerating teh poor beetle.
“There you go you stupid bug!” Banokles sneered at his, now empty, hand. Turning on his heels he stormed towards teh lava pool to warm himself up, and clam down.

Since he was thrown into teh Volcano, this was how Banokles learned of the world around him.

Rankon

Rankon grabbed the last handful of wheat to be harvested and swung his sickle down at the base of the crop. As he did, the other farmers standing beside him copied his actions in near unison, grunting from this final exertion of the day. The wheat cut easily, and Rankon handed it to the farmhand waiting behind him ready to sheathe it. Collective sighs of relief and tired mumbling rolled off the newly empty field as the farmers began to make their way back into their homes and more importantly, their dinners. Harvest was always a difficult time, little time could be wasted in collection or the yield would suffer either from animals or the environment. Rankon wiped the sweat from his brow with his rough hands as he glanced around the field, mind already planning the work to done clearing it. His muscles ached from the hard work, while the other farmers had taken shifts between harvesting and binding the wheat, Rankon had used his power to boost his stamina to work through the entire day. It was important that the other farmers saw that despite his more dangerous abilities, he was willing to work just as hard as they were, not lording himself above them.

A small sound from his stomach brought him out of his reverie and reminded him that despite his power, he still needed to eat. The days exertions had a cost that demanded repayment. He turned from the field and began walking to his parent's home where he expected his mother would be lightly berating his father for his attempted 'helpfulness' in the kitchen. Nesben Tiller had many admirable traits, but cooking was not amongst their number and it had only gotten worst since he had injured his leg and could not help in the fields. Rankon smiled quietly to himself and patted his stomach in anticipation.

And that is when he spotted the dark spots in the sky, growing larger on the horizon. The chill started at the base of his neck and ran down throughout the rest of his body, slowly freezing him in place. 'Airships from the capitol. The village!' Images of Grazah burned in his mind, that last empty eyed look as he turned his head to look back at his family for the final time. Rankon shook his head, banishing those thoughts to the back of his mind and slammed his foot down three times against the earth. With each slam, minor tremors rattled the walls and homes of Calvern. Every villager knew what that meant- hide your children.

Rankon could feel the villagers in their homes moving quickly upon the earthern floors of their homes, moving in practiced panic. The drills had been for this exact purpose, if the King's men came by road their presence was usually routine, but the presence of the airships could only mean a 'Search' was underway. What they were looking for no one in the Village could say for certain, but children were always taken. Those who resisted were killed. The only way to save these families were to conceal them.

Rankon called out silently to the steady strength and power beneath his feet, feeling its power coursing into him as though he were a tree rooted deep below the ground. He waved his hand at each of the village homes calling for the hidden entrances in each of their homes to open up to the hidden tunnels beneath Calvern. There the children could hide with the extra crops that Rankon's efforts over the years had yielded. The tunnels had no other entrances besides what Rankon had created and once the children were all hidden, he moved the stone of the earth back over the entranceways, obliterating all trace of their presence.

He stared up at the sky, the sun now descending to the heavens below lighting he works in orange flame. The dark blotches in the sky were even larger now heading in their general direction. It was possible they were not heading for Calvern, at least not yet. 'No, they are coming now. Their time of harvest is now...' Rankon's fingers clenched and unclenched unconsciously on the sickle he still held, as he watched the scythe descending towards his small world.

Link

Link was in Skyloft, the city in the sky. Currently he was doing his training exams. These were simple enough and most of them focused on the Guardian Bird of the student. The head master, Gaepora was teaching the students personally today. It was Link's turn to do his exams as he stepped up to the edge of the island, he turned back with a smug smile.

"You do know Storm won't come to catch me, right?"

Gaepora gave an annoyed look at Link. He knew exactly what he meant. It wasn't out of distrust, or loyalty issues. Usually, every Guardian Bird wouldn't hesitate in catching their partner during the fall test, but Link was different. Storm knew about Link's uniqueness, and he knew Link didn't need him if he ever fell. He only came on Link's command.

"Link, you have to do this properly. No using your abilities."

Link gave a small sigh, before shrugging.

"Ok, ok."

He closed his eyes, and rose his arms to the side. Slowly, he allowed himself to fall back and off the island, towards the clouds. He continued to fall while everyone watched wide eyed. This was the first time Link had done this without calling out to Storm or catching himself. Nobody knew what was going to happen. Link grew closer and closer to the clouds, and no Guardian Bird was in sight. Both students and teachers got on their Guardian Bird ready to act any second. Then, just as Link was getting dangerously close to the clouds, everyone turned their heads as a ear piercing screech was sounded. Out of nowhere Storm appeared and flew quickly. He dove down and Caught Link without breaking a sweat. Then Storm landed on the island, allowing Link to get off. He gave a few strokes to him before speaking.

"I never doubted you Storm."

He looked around to see the horror in everyone's face. Gaepora slowly stepped up and let out a sigh of relief.

"You two nearly scared us half to death! Storm could of acted faster, but then again he has always been the fastest Guardian Bird anyone has ever seen. There was no doubt that he could of made that catch. Normally, I would have to fail the two of you due to such dangerous timing, any other Guardian Bird would struggle making a catch like that, but, you two are a special case. You've passed the exam, both of you."

Link gave a small bow before walking towards the edge of the island again. He stared down at the clouds and let out a small sigh. A thoughtful look came upon his face.

"I always wonder, is there anything beyond the skies?"

Gaepora slowly walked up beside him and looked down to the clouds as well.

"Nobody knows. There are hundreds of theories, but the strongest one is that whatever was down there, if anything is nothing but ruins. People believe that humanity sent the city of Skyloft into the skies to stop the chaos and destruction that was happening on the surface world, and after hundreds of years later, the surface world became destroyed, no more and Skyloft remained to be the last of humanity, but of course that is only a theory, it's all we've got. It's too dangerous to go beyond the clouds to find out for sure. The Guardians can't see through the clouds and they would be flying blindly."

Link looked to him, listening intently before looking back to the clouds. He knew he was different though, he and Storm wouldn't have that problem. He could actually go down there if it just weren't forbidden. He let out a sigh and gave a simple nod.

"I could change it all though, but I understand. It's forbidden, and that's something I'll never be able to change."

Gaepora gave a simple nod before walking away. Slowly, Link turned around and followed.

Kai Hioska

Kai was laying down on the grass, tired to do anything else. He had been starting fights all day, whoever he came across and he beat every single one of them. Admittingly, they had no power so they were at a disadvantage but using his powers all day tired him out. He closed his eyes for a moment, relaxing himself. Although a few minutes later, the earth began to shake violently. He could hear sounds of movement in the distance, he slowly opened his eyes and let out a sigh. Slowly he forced himself up and flew to the skies slowly and as expected, there they were. Dozens of War Tanks were headed his way. It was another Search. He was good, but he wasn't good enough to take on the Elemental King's army. No way, not a chance. He landed to the ground and began to walk through the field. He would have to go through and around to completely avoid them. Last time he tried to fight a search party, he was almost killed.

Slade

Slade laid down on a paper bed that he had lazily created himself. The day was just dragging on and there was nothing to do. His paper bed was placed near the edge of the village in the shade. There he caught a nice breeze while being safe from the sun. However his lazy relaxation was short lived as soldiers, golems and even tanks came through the village. His eyes opened lazily, and he let out a yawn. Didn't they know they were disturbing the peace every time they put out a search for god knows what? It was every damn day! He sighed and forced himself to get up at the sounds of fighting. There was no way he was getting to sleep with the search going on and whatever else was happening. Slade rubbed his eyes before holding out his arm. Suddenly the paper vanished up his sleeves. Afterwards he slowly walked forward and turned to look at a small group of people talking, overhearing something about chosen ones.

Sanata

Sanata slowly walked through a old mining town. She had no business here, she was just passing through. She didn't expect anyone to be around as she passed through. After getting about halfway, she stopped when she saw what seemed to be a metal dragon of sorts with a strange man. She stared at him for a moment, before looking to the metal dragon.

"That's a strange creature, what is that? Did you create make that yourself?"

Of course, by 'make' she meant make it with hands. She had no idea that she was looking at one of the Chosen Ones. She stepped forward for a moment and slowly petals of flowers began to come from her hands and begin to surround here. She was just making sure that she was ready just in case the thing attacked her.

Zuko

Zuko listened to the King and gave a quick nod to him. He then turned around and walked out of the tower slowly. Once out, he thought about where he would search first. After a moment of thinking to himself, he decided he would begin his search at the grave yards. He gathered his energy quickly, and flew off towards the nearest graveyard. Once there he began to look around. He destroyed graves, ruined tombstones, killed flowers and generally wrecked the entire graveyard as he searched through, he kept doing this over and over again going through every graveyard he could find, searching for the Chosen One of Darkness.

---Kyurai---

"Kyu~" A familiar voice called. Kyurai was sitting on an electric tower near the laboratory he had grown up in. The woman calling him was prof. Kyouka, she was one of the scientists at the lab, yet she always seemed to have his best interest in mind. "I was worried about you! What if you were to fall and break something?" Her aura was an unchanging soft-white that hadn't once flared up since he obtained this new power only he knew about. In response to her concerned remark, Kyurai stood up and jumped down, met by a bolt of lighning on the way down. This bolt struck about a foot away from prof. Kyouka, yet she stood there, unflinching, smiling even. Kyurai had attempted to scare her, but clearly he had failed at this. "Fine, let's go professor--and stop calling me Kyu. He said as he started walking, prof. Kyouka followed, but responded dryly. "Never, you should just call me by my name too." "Never."

Back inside, prof. Kyouka grabbed a noteblock from a counter and the pair headed into a room. For Kyurai who had been doing this 13 years now, this was just a simple routine, though no progress had ever been reached from it. Prof. Kyouka started the checkup, reading up the questions from the noteblock.
"How are you feeling?" "Just fine, healthy as always."
"How are your powers?" "No abnormalities."
"Have you been eating properly?" "Prof. Kyouka, that's not one of the questions."
"Well, have you?" "Could we go to the next question, please?"

The questioning went on like this for a while until eventually all questions on the list had been answered. Once outside, Kyurai returned to the electric tower, he didn't dislike the laboratory, but recently he had begun to appreciate the quiet and the solitude. Meanwhile, Raika soared through the clouds, watching, ready to warn her now sleeping master at the first sign of danger.

Distial

Distial felt an uneasiness in the air. Something was wrong. The dead were becoming restless, they were acting strange. She looked up, as she heard sounds above. Somebody was up there, and whatever they were doing, they were disturbing the dead and making them very angry. She clenched her fist before walking towards the exit which looked like simple wall. She placed her hand on the wall and suddenly a panel opened up. As she walked through it the panel closed behind her. She walked up the stairs and came to a large piece of rock in the way. She closed her eyes and allowed darkness to fill her eyes. A dark aura covered her palm and she placed her hand on the rock. Slowly, it moved towards the side and allowed her to exit. When she came to the surface, she saw a man destroying the graveyard. Graves were ruined, tombstones were shattered, flowers were dead, disrespect, all of it.

"How dare you! I'm going to make you suffer!"

Her eyes glowed dark purple, and a violent dark purple aura covered her. Slowly, she began to rise from the ground as dark shadow balls were created from the aura. Shade came up afterwards and saw the graveyard. He looked to Distial before stepping forward. He gave a fierce growl before speaking towards the man.

"You shouldn't of done that! It seems you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"

Darkness began to form around him while he stood beside Distial. The two of them together would make to be a fierce force. It certainly wouldn't be easy to them down and kill them.

Scarlet Overkill

Scarlet was walking quickly with a few of the ground troops. Twenty of them to be exact. Every one of them were powerless, but each of them were well trained in sword combat and martial arts to ensure survival. Scarlet however was a force to be reckoned with. As she walked, she looked over head to see the air ships pass. She continued to walk, but immediately stopped when she felt a tremor in the ground. Then another, immediately, Scarlet began to head in the direction of the tremors. She focused on all the energy in the area, and managed to find two energy signals not far away. As she reached the location of the two, she stayed low to the ground to spy on them for a moment. One of them was definitely the Earth Elemental Chosen One, she was sure of it. She closed her eyes and quickly used the mind link the Elemental King had created using his Light Elemental Powers, connecting the army together.

'Any available search party come to my location immediately, repeat, Any available search party come to my location immediately! I've found the Earth Elemental Chosen One.'

It would come too obvious for Rankon and Dante, that something was wrong very quickly as two of those five of the airships that had passed came flying back overhead, and just as they were flying over Rankon and Dante, the airships slowed down. Suddenly, soldiers jumped out from the Air Ships with ropes to support them, all landing in the surrounding area. When the airships were finally empty, there were 250 soldiers including Scarlet's team. Although, soldiers weren't much of a problem for two powered individuals. However, not only did Soldiers come, but so did twenty golems. Scarlet stepped out into the open and stared at the two. The area was now completed covered.

Master Grey

Master Grey continued to travel towards the sea, it didn't take him long to get there and when he did, he climbed into his own submarine. Of course, he heard about the ships and submarines being destroyed at sea, so he needed to make sure everyone knew he was friendly. He went underwater as deep as he could go, then he continued to move forward in his search. As he did, he sent a signal telling those who were nearby he was friendly, and not a threat. He would search for the Chosen One of Water here, and he had a pretty solid idea where they would be, all he had to do was find it.

Julia, Isabella, Seth, Raiden and Wolf

Julia continued to walk around until she saw a search party being sent by the King. Afterwards, she began to look around, and saw a fight being taken place. She stared blankly for a moment until the fight ended. Then, she looked towards Rose. Somehow, Julia just knew she was there. She stepped up to her for a moment and gave a small smile.

"It isn't polite to listen in on people."

She looked to Slade to address him to, before walking up to the group.

"My name is Julia, I am also searching for the Chosen Ones."

The four looked to Julia before Seth turned to Isabella.

"I am also willing to help look for the Chosen Ones."

Wolf and Raiden nodded in agreement. Just then, another fight started that Isabella took notice of immediately. Damien, the well known mercenary had killed a few of the Elemental Kings men. She couldn't help but smile a little, before looking around.

"I enjoy watching the King's men being defeated."

She then looked towards the Elemental King's tower, and saw him suddenly appear, coming towards the town. He walked up to Damien and stared at him for a moment before speaking.

"You killed my men, I see. Well no matter. If they were unable to complete such a simple task, then they were garbage anyway. I've been searching for you, Damien. I want to hire you. You're strong, and I could always use strong soldiers on my side. Your job is simple, find and kill the Chosen Ones. Don't worry, I'll pay big, just name your price."

Immediately Isabella looked around once more and slowly backed away.

"Well, I've got to go."

She nodded to everyone before leaving the group. She looked back to the Elemental King with an unreadable stare, before walking out of the town itself.

The Elemental King

The Elemental King was talking to Damien, but seemingly, at around the same time, he appeared elsewhere. He landed softly on the ground and walked up to Scarlet. He looked to Rankon and Dante before giving a smug smile.

"We only care for one of you. Let me put this simple. Tell me which of you is the Earth Elemental Chosen One, and I will let the other go, otherwise you both die."

He turned to Scarlet for a moment and spoke in a respectful manner.

"I trust you, so I'll make you a deal. I won't step in, not yet. However if things don't go your way, and you start to lose the upper hand, I will have to step in myself."

Scarlet nodded and the Elemental King stepped back. He stared at the two, wondering if they would take the offer, although he honestly doubted that they would.

Rose

Rose went bright red as she heard a stranger calling her rude. She looked up and saw Julia staring at her with a look of disapproval.

"No I uhhh, was uhhhh, hiding. Yeah hiding from the soldiers over there."

Her eyes were shifting from side to side while she was scratching her head as she told what was an obvious lie. She stood up and came out of the bushes.

"I'm Rose nice to meet you."

Damien

As Damien was headed for the village exit, the king entered the village and intercepted him. Immediately Damien's muscles began to relax slightly getting ready in case the King launched an attack. However this proved to be unnecessary when the King offered him a job.

"Well before I make up my mind there's a few points I want to clear up. Once the job is complete and you rule everything, what would there be left for me to do? You see I love money but money alone is not enough that's why I left the league. I also want to keep getting stronger. That's why I train every day. The training isn't enough, I have to keep finding and fighting strong opponents and while this job would certainly give me the chance to do that, I have to think of what would come after."

Dante

Dante sensed the approaching army and his concerns were unfortunately spot on. This village was indeed the target and it seemed one of the Chosen Ones were here. He then looked to Rankon.

"Run."

With that said Dante stood forward as he called for the souls of warriors slaughtered in the King's endless crusade and infused them into the tress of the nearby forest.

Suddenly hundreds of trees came to life forming wood golems. They began marching on the King's army lashing out with thorny vines lashing the King's men and throwing boulders at their army crushing the soldiers while roots came up from the ground binding and strangling them. Within minutes most of the soldiers were dead leaving less than a hundred. While this was happening Dante pulled what appeared to be a small toothpick out of his pocket. That toothpick suddenly grew in size to become the size of a bo staff. He gripped it tightly as he prepared for battle.

Finally back in the center of teh volcano, Banokles felt his energy reserves filling back up, his body growing warm again, and his hunger disappeared. While floating on his back he was staring in the sky. He longed to be able to fly, for now all he can do is use flames to jump high, but had no way of changing directions once off the ground. And sometimes he even had problems with the jumps, because he didn't know how strong teh initial blast should be.

As he was drifting on teh lava he noticed some weird structures flying above him. At first he decided to ignore them, but for some reason they stopped mid air and stood there for a moment. Banokles was amazed by their sheer size. Which intrigued Banokles since he never saw anything that big fly. Then the structures began to lower their altitude. Banokles hardened teh lava beneath him and stood up on his feet. At first he thought the weird flying things would land, but suddenly they began to turn.

Since he had nothing better to do Banokles decided that a closer inspection is required. “Lets see what you are.” he said as he readied for a jump. “ i just hope i don't miss it by too much.” As he said that he jumped in the air, a large fire blast exploded under his feet propelling him high in the direction he jumped like a rocket.

As he flew through the air he could feel himself growing colder by teh second, and to grow warm again he set himself whole on fire. As he was flying through the air, the ships have already began moving in their new direction. Banokles quickly realised that, not that he will miss the flying thing he was aiming at, but also hit the other one flying right behind it. As he began to approach it, he saw that he, yet again, made the blast too big and will now collide hard with teh thing. Just as he was about to hit teh ship, he focused his flames into his arms and shoulders. As Banokles and the ship collided an explosion went off.

When Banokles opened his eyes he saw that the thing he hit now had a gashing hole in its side, and that it was also going further and further away. By teh time he realised he was falling he was already half way down. He had no control over his spinning and rotation in teh air. Deciding on his best idea, he turned into a human cannonball, and set himself on fire once more. This time the fire was much stronger and fiercer. Because he had no idea which part of him will hit the ground first he decided to strengthen up his whole body hoping teh landing won't hurt too much.

Seconds later he could feel large strong branches hitting him as he flew through the forest, hitting and igniting things on the way down. Finally he crashed into the ground with a big blast. For a couple of minutes he laid in his crater. He was exhausted. The energy required to maintain teh defensive fire for so long was demanding. After a few moments teh forest around him started to burn more and more.

With a huge effort Banokles managed to get on his feet and started walking, not noticing the flames around him. After couple of meters he almost fell, but manage to catch himself on a burning tree. The fire warmed him up like it would any normal human, but it was not the same as teh fires that had feed him for all this time in the volcano. Tired he sunk down with his back against the tree.

He tried to remember in which direction is the volcano, but all teh spinning in the air made him lose his orientation. Usually if he concentrated he could feel if there was any fire to restore him around. He tried, and failed. Using so much energy to survive, and being so far away from volcano, Banokles, for teh first time, felt in what state he was, tired so much he couldn't even fall asleep, so hungry he could eat a tree, thirsty to drink teh oceans, but at least he wasn't cold anymore. at teh moment that is.

Rankon

The Mountain Village of Calvern

"Need help."

An unfamiliar voice sounded out from his side as he focused on the ships passing by. He turned and saw a muscular stranger standing next to him who looked as though he had spent a lot of time in the forest. Rankon's brow furrowed as he opened his mouth to respond, however that is when he noticed that while he had been distracted many more individuals had begun moving around his mountain home. 'Soldiers!' The ships in the sky began to bank and turn around coming back toward his village. Something had attracted there attention, possibly the stranger? Rankon closed his eyes, he needed to evacuate the entire village before this place was demolished by the King's wrath. He reopened the tunnel entrances in village homes, feeling the feet of the remaining villagers pound the earth beneath them, ready to head deep within the earth. The tunnels were as complex as Rankon could make them given the years he had spent preparing them just in case. It would take a day's travel to emerge from the tunnels, but they would be far away and the new harvest should keep them fed until they had time to find a new home.

But he needed to give them time. Rankon could obliterate the tunnels behind them, but they needed time to move out of the way. But it seemed that time was not on his side. The soldiers moved together in unnatural ways led by a woman who stank of bloody iron. 20 strange creatures surrounded the village as well, Rankon had never seen their like before and could not guess at their intentions. 'What is it that they want? I never planned for this. So many soldiers...' Rankon could still feel the aching in his bones from the day's hard labor, his magical reserves already spent from constant use. Sweat rolled from his head down his shirt, his boots still heavy from the clinging dirt, and nothing in the way of combative training. Suddenly a man seemingly appeared next to the woman in charge of the soldiers. He was dressed in finer, more ornate clothing than anything Rankon had ever imagined. One part of his ensemble was worth more than the entire village could have made in a decade. But the power rolling off the man made that insignificant, Rankon could feel it's pressure trying to push him down to his knees before him, only the strength of the Earth beneath his feet giving him the strength to stand. It was obvious who this man was.

The Elemental King spoke, "We only care for one of you. Let me put this simply. Tell me which of you is the Earth Elemental Chosen One, and I will let the other go, otherwise you both die."

Rankon glanced at the stranger beside him in confusion. 'Earth Elemental Chosen One? Does he mean this man? Is that who they are chasing? Maybe if we run, we can get the King away from the village...' As if to confirm his thoughts, the strange man looked at him and uttered a single word.

"Run."

The surrounding forest exploded with activity as the trees themselves, moved with ferocity to attack the Elemental King's army. The soldiers fell quickly to the myriad of supernatural attacks coming from the trees. Rankon looked on in horror and shock, the sickle falling from his hand, this apparent "Chosen One" had decided to make his home a warzone. Rankon could not run, not with the lives of his fellow villagers depending on him buying them as much time as possible. The risk was too high to them. He needed to stop this before the King used his legendary power or decided to punish the village for the mistakes of the stranger. He bent down to his hands and knees grabbing fistfuls of the earth below and squeezing with all his strength. The earth responded to his call stone erupting not just over the king's men, but the tree golems as well seizing all of them by their legs in an effort to keep them all in place preventing further violence. Rankon gasped from the strain of the action, blood flowing down one nostril and mixing with his sweat. He could feel deep, deep below the earth his village, his friends, and his family racing as fast as they could to safety almost at a safe distance now.

"My King, I plead mercy for my people. Please spare my village." His voice strained with the effort and the fear for his people, arms and legs trembling from the strain of his ability.

Forest

The Elemental King and Scarlet Overkill

Scarlet and The Elemental King watched as one of the warriors began to attack. A lot of men died quickly by the trees attack. Although at the same time, Scarlet destroyed a lot of the trees with a energy blade. Shortly after the other warrior acted and encased everyone's feet, including the trees in earth. It was then that he begged the King to spare everyone. The Elemental King laughed loudly, before yawning. Without even moving, The Elemental King shattered the earth from himself and Scarlet before stepping up.

"You are the one I want. No spirit magic can do what you can do. You want me to spare everyone down there?"

He rose his hand and clenched his fist. Rankon would suddenly feel the earth shake violently, the caves below collapsed slightly, just missing the villagers below.

"I can kill every one of them but how about this. You come with me peacefully, and I might just spare them."

He then waved his hand and suddenly, every tree was cut in millions of pieces by a powerful gust of wind, before being burnt to ash. Not a single tree remained. The Elemental King looked to Rankon again and spoke in a menacing tone.

"You have one chance. Surrender now or everyone dies and that goes for your friend too. If either of you attack, there won't be a village to safe."

He stamped on the ground, making two earth walls fall and form underground, trapping them and leaving them open to the King's wrath and considering he was facing the earth elemental, he decided to make sure he couldn't be stopped. He focused on the earth walls, and suddenly they became encased in extremely strong metal. Scarlet just laughed loudly while the Golems hovered around the King.

Village

The Elemental King

The Elemental King who was in the village listened to Damien. He gave soft nods before giving a small smile. Everything Damien had said, he had completed expected and had already thought of.

"Don't worry, after the problem is dealt with, you shall be training with me personally. That should satisfy the need for a strong opponent. Now, assuming you accept this job, your first task is to go to the location I am going to give to you in a moment. Meet me in my Tower later today, and I'll will give you any amount of money you need. I will be seeing you later, Damien."

With that, the Elemental King disappeared into thin air right before his eyes. It seemed that The Elemental King was just an illusion created by the light. Damien would suddenly get the location of the Graveyard where Distial was located with Zuko.

Julia, Seth, Raiden and Wolf

The four who remained looked over to Rose as she came over. Most of them didn't care about the obvious lie, but Seth just rolled her eyes. She stood forward and spoke quickly.

"If you're telling us lies now, then why should we trust you?"

Raiden then stepped forward himself and spoke up.

"It doesn't matter. Each of us are searching for the Elemental Chosen Ones, only when the eight gather together and meet can the prophecy be fulfilled and the end of the tyranny will come."

Julia and Wolf both nodded and Seth sighed, she didn't trust this person but it seemed Raiden did. Considering he had blabbered about the prophecy there was no hiding the details now.

Ciana & Trico

Ciana sighed as she trudged away from the still-fuming Elder, her ears ringing from the scolding he had given her. Her wings were gone, disappeared as if they never existed though ready to burst out at a seconds notice should she have need of them. A frown furrowed her brow, heart stinging slightly. She knew that climbing the tower did have its risks but she knew she wouldn't have gotten hurt, because she could use her power and Trico had been there to catch her in a moments notice. Big though he may be, he was fairly spry and quick on his feet. As if summoned by her thoughts, she felt him give her a mental nudge, prompting the girl to gaze up at him. "He was just worried about you." The giant Guardian stated. Ciana sighed as they entered one of the courtyards, the laughter and sounds of gleeful shouting filling the space as the children of the temple ran about and played. "I know but...I don't need to be treated like a flower that's going to bowl over with the next breeze. Sometimes I think everyone is a little too protective of me." In fact, it dawned on her, as she watched the children play, that the older monks treated her with a kind of...reverence. Until she had always saw some unnamed emotion in their eyes and couldn't think of a word for it until now. Why though? What made her so special?

Her thought process was broken as a ball bounced across the ground and stopped by her feet. She glanced down then back up to see the children smiling and waving at her to join. Ciana grinned and abandoned her worries for the moment, simply relaxing and letting herself think only of the game.

Later, Ciana and Trico were sitting on top of the highest tower, a megalith made from marble with carved runes decorating the surface. Ciana was dangling her legs over the edge as she watched the sun fade below the horizon. Silence stretched between the two but it was a comfotable one. Wing beats rent the silence like a knife and Ciana spotted the Elder arriving on the back of one of the older Guardians. The two Guardians locked eyes before Trico gave a nod and leaned down to nuzzle Ciana before he swooped away. The Elder took a seat beside Ciana before he began explaining in a gentle voice, about the prophecy, about her part in it, and why she was treated with care at the temple. Ciana sat in quiet shock, not believing what she was hearing. Once the tale was done, she opened her mouth to tell the Elder that this was a bunch of malarkey, something resonated through her. It was a voice, but at the same time it wasn't. She grew quiet, eyes wide. Her trance was eventually broken by a few shakes from the Elder. Ciana looked at him, expression serious for once in her life.

"I think someone needs my help."

@EurmalEye@PharaohAtem@The One
Once she had explained to the Elder everything she knew, she and Trico were loaded with a bag of supplies and ushered to the portal. Ciana sat on Trico's back, gazing sadly at her home and at her family. As much as she wanted to stay, there was something instead her whispering that she was born to do this, it was her destiny. With a sorrowful heart and a determined expression, the two disappeared through the portal. They exited inside a cave that was thankfully large enough for Trico. They followed the tunnels to the surface to an uninhabited island, where Trico took to the skies. The girl guided her companion in the direction they needed to go, Ciana feeling a pull towards whoever had sent out the SOS. She sent out her own call, albeit a little clumsy since she's never communicated with anyone other than Trico before, letting whoever know she was on her way to help. She may not fully understand everything that was going on but if she had a chance to help then she was going to.

Trico flew as fast as his wings could and before they knew it, they were descending from above the clouds to what looked like a war going on below. Trico hovered in the sky, Ciana peering over his back as she gazed down below, snow white hair whipping behind her. She tentatively sent her mind out again, searching for the person who had sent out the SOS as she wondered what she and Trico needed to do.

Rankon

The Abandoned Mountain Village of Calvern

Rankon was about to accept the King's offer and to surrender himself, when he saw the spirit summoned next to the strange man who had summoned the trees. It was there for one brief moment before it vanished. A beat later, Rankon felt the villagers below also disappear away from where he could sense them. A sense of panic quickly fell to elation as he realized that they were safe. A new surge of energy came with the emotion and he did not wait for the stranger to yell at him again before activating his second ability. His magic spread down the from the top of his head to the bottoms of feet causing small motes of dark green light to surround him. Rankon vanished from his position bowed in front of the King, as his speed boosted body propelled him wildly away in the opposite direction. He pumped his legs madly aimed at a rock wall in front of him where the mountain continued upward.

The rock wall opened up and swallowed him before quickly shutting behind him. Rankon glided through the earth as though it were water. Here buried beneath the ground, he was fully in his element, the thought of what lay behind propelling him to new speeds. He turned upwards heading for the top of the mountain hoping to see what direction the other villagers had gone. He burst out through the top in a shower of pebbles, covered in dust and stone. He glanced around hurriedly not wanting to waste more time than he needed to in case of some type of pursuit.

He did not see the villagers, but the sudden emergence had broken off his connection to the mountain and once again he felt his reserves of power run dry. His legs, pushed far beyond their limits gave out from underneath him. Before he blacked out, he felt the sensation of falling down to the earth below, with no energy left to break his fall.

BANOKLES

Banokles sat at teh tree for a couple of moments. Then through the forest fire, a group of people were running and shouting, carrying large packs and piles of pelt.
Banokles, now a tad rested, got back on his feet and slowly began walking in the direction from which the people came running. “I knew it. Those were hunters, and here is their camp.” He said, as he entered a small clearing in the woods with tents build and a large fireplace in the middle. Banokes first walked to teh fire and sucked it into his body, filling him a little.
Then at his feet he found a large bowl that was filled with some sort of soup. Picking it up and smelling it, a strong urge to eat fill Banokles senses, and without thinking he drank the whole thing and sat down on the ground.
At that moment a strange voice in his head called for help. “Help? Why? Its your problem you got into this mess in teh first place. And i don't know any chosen ones or anyone from there. Help yourself.” Banokles said out loud, a little irritated, although no one could hear him.
“I need to get something more to eat, and some water would be nice aswell.” Banokles said.
He got back on his feet and looked around him, soon the whole camp will be lost in flames. Yet Banokles was not done with this camp, and simply waved his hands and the flames retreated to teh borders of teh camp. Now that the camp is safe again he searched through it. It took some time to search everything, for teh hunters left in haste and only took the most valuable things.
Now Banokles was sitting on a bench full of food and water, dressed in some good quality leather pants, and shirt.
He could feel his body brimming with energy again, but this time the energy felt stronger and better. Since he lived in the volcano he never eaten much, because the lava fires took care of him, but it also made him weak. Depending too much on the lava he could not stay away from it for a long time and the energy to use his element was also not entirely his and for that reason it was weaker. Yet the energy from actual food he ate was purely his and it was stronger and better, and above all it lasted much longer.
As he sat there another different voice interrupted his thinking, which he couldn't really make out but it made him remember about teh previous SOS call. With teh smile on his he turned towards teh direction he was going. “It be rude to not help people in need” He said nodding to himself. He sprinted into the woods, the fire was still there but it was shoving weakening signs.

Banokles used his powers to speed through the flames to teh edge of the forest. Once he stopped he was amazed, the new energy he has now was hardly affected by his ability just now and teh ability performed better as well. On teh bad side, his shirt got burned off as he traveled through the forest. As he looked towards teh ongoing battle he saw those flying things in the air that were above his volcano not so long ago. Realising what they were and that they were the enemies he decided to try his previous jump again only this time, he will shoot directly for one with full intent on destroying it.
Banokles got ready and jumped teh blast this time was stronger and he flew through the air directly into one of teh ships. As he reached it he flipped so he landed with his feet on the hull of the ship. He quickly looked around for his next target before losing his footing. Noticing a body falling back to the ground. Instinctively Banokles shoot at about a meter beneath it. The energy, from the jump blast, went into the ship which made a whole in it and threw it off balance. Banokles aiming was a little too high and he managed to collide with teh body. The landing was a smooth blast as teh fire softened the fall.
As Banokles looked at teh person he cached he saw certain parts of teh clothing were on fire, and he quickly put them out. Now looking around himself he noticed he was stanidn on a rock high on the mountain, there were some people in the village bellow, but Banokles couldnt tell who was who. One thing he was sure of was that the bird in the sky is an ally, and that teh person he saved is also and ally. turning to the big bird he yelled. "Hey! What do we do now! whats going on!?" His faces expression the sam as a child's, who just found a new place that is full of toys.

Link

Link continued to sit down and look down towards the clouds. He was alone now, everyone had gone inside. He looked to Storm for a moment, before looking back to the clouds.

"Thanks for coming for me Storm. If you hadn't I would of had to used my powers, and we would of failed. It seems you care about the tests too, don't you?"

Storm gave a small nod, before he looked down at the clouds once more. It was then that he got an sos message of sorts. The Elemental King was attacking the Earth Elemental Chosen One, and that there were eight Chosen Ones altogether destined to defeat the King. Then, if they weren't helped the war would be lost? He then realised something, this information he was getting was coming below the clouds! Which only meant one thing, there was in fact life on the surface world. Link slowly got himself up and stared at the clouds some more. Eight Chosen Ones, Earth, Water, Lightning, Fire, Light, Dark, Metal and finally, Wind. He held up his hand for a moment before moving his hand through the wind quickly, making a powerful gust of wind blow by. That explained everything, he was a Chosen One. That was why he had these powers. Immediately, Link got onto Storm and patted his back.

"Let's go Storm, we're going to the surface world."

Immediately, Storm took off and headed towards the clouds. Just before they went into the clouds, Link made them part open quickly, allowing Link and Storm to fly through. They kept of flying towards the source of the sos message, and it didn't take them long to arrive. Once they did Link jumped down from Storm and landed a little ways from the fight. Storm landed beside him while Link looked around. He spotted the Elemental King as well as Scarlet.

Kai Hioska

Kai had managed to avoid the army quite easily. He continued to walk through the field until he reached the forest, that was when he received a message telling him all about the Elemental King and a little bit about the prophecy with the Chosen Ones. He took a moment to work through it, before looking around. He then looked back towards the forest and stared at it. From the sounds of it there was a good fight up ahead, and this time he wasn't alone. He quickly began to walk through the forest towards the meeting point.

Slade

Slade got the message like everyone else did, and he gave a simple yawn. Honestly, he was too lazy to travel all that way. He would much rather stay in the village and if he wasn't so lazy when that time came he would begin a battle strategy. He gave another yawn and leaned against the wall..

Zuko

Zuko stopped for a moment as a woman came out from a tombstone. It seemed to lead to an underground grave. He gave a small smile, seeing that she was angry. He looked to her little pet before gripping his chain sword. He whipped it slightly against the floor then he slowly stood forward with a cocky smile.

"Awe, you're angry? Come, I'll let you make the first move. Give me your best shot lady."

He gave a smile at her, knowing that what he said would most likely make her even more angry and hopefully less focused after she had become angry.

---Kyurai---

@The One

Lying on a bar of the electic tower, Kyurai's dreams were to be interrupted by a strange vision, an SOS-call manifesting in his dream. In the vision, Kyurai was there, chaos and corpses everywhere. The bloody nature of the vision astounded him, but was quickly forgotten when lightning engulfed and erased everything. Such was the nature of dreams, once out of sight they were quickly forgotten. His actual dream continued, fluffy clouds cushioned him as he fell on them from someplace below them, yet he was lying here on top of them. He wondered about the absurdity of his dream, but his subconscious attention was quickly absorbed as the scenery changed again.

Not having woken up, Kyurai kept sleeping, in effect ignoring the SOS-call. Raika, sensing this SOS call too, responded to it, but no more than by simply being extra vigilant for the coming few hours. The person in need of aid would have to make due without their support...

Raven and Orphine

@DragonKingUk

Disturbance. Raven looked away from his dragon and towards the girl. She had silver hair and doesn't look dangerous. However, he continued to study her, letting the silence hang after her question. She looked able bodied and he could feel the metal of her sword. She was definitely not someone who was defenseless. No one came here without proper defense. Bandits littered these mountains. The traders knew safer routes to take. This girl didn't look like a trader. She didn't have a caravan or even a bag to carry goods in.

She was a traveler. One of the empire perhaps? Have they sent this scout to search for him in this abandoned mining town? She continued to approach, this time shards started to surround her. A powered individual. He could feel Orphine tense up, her instincts screaming to fight. Sending a telepathic message to calm down to his dragon, he finally spoke up.

"No." The answer was short, simple and straightforward. He was not being careful of giving the pretense that he created this organic metal dragon that might lead to her finding out he was one of the Chosen Ones. He said it because it was the truth. He may have made her unconsciously but he was never too sure where Orphine had come from. She just appeared one day and he just rode with it. The older men in the village claimed that it was a gift from the 'God of Metal' they so worship that resides within the mines. He believed in no such thing though. Orphine must have been born by another force controlling it.

He then narrowed his eyes, hands curled up in a fist as response to her approaching him while preparing for a fight. "It is rude to ask people questions while thinking they would attack." He said with a matter-of-fact tone. "State your business here girl. Neither of us need to be harmed." He continued.

Raven stopped as he felt someone calling out to him - pleading for help. The black haired male tilted his head to the side in confusion. That was new. However, he paid it no mind. Unless the girl would also point that out, it didn't seem like he was going to help out at all. After all, he isn't sure if it was a trap or not. He'd rather not fall into a trap set by the Elemental King because of some heroic tendency.
