Physical Description:
Ephraim stands at 6'1", cutting a lean figure. Black hair, brown eyes, with a piercing gaze, Ephraim comes across as a rather intimidating looking figure to civilians. Muscular as a soldier, he's toned but lacks bulk; most would describe him as rather lanky.

History:
Born on the island state of Singapore, Ephraim grew up an intelligent and diligent student who kept his head down and out of trouble for most of his childhood life - bar a few incidents of classroom bullying where he was the victim. He enlisted in the SAF at 18 as required by law for all male citizens, and quickly found himself fitting in with the military lifestyle.
At the end of his 2 years of mandatory service, he signed on as a regular, extending his service for 5 more years in the Military Intelligence Branch. While Singapore relied heavily on diplomacy rather than its military to avoid international conflict, Ephraim was called on to assist in counter-terrorism operations in the region. The dense jungles of Singapore's neighboring, majority Muslim countries provided ideal breeding grounds for homegrown Jihadist insurgents, and every government in the region was eager to cooperate and root them out when borders were crossed easily between them, and one could easily build their own rocket and start an international incident.
At the end of his 5 years, he returned to civilian life without much of a purpose. He pursued a degree in Psychology in university as the field intrigued him, thinking he'd continue to contribute to society by counseling youths or working with patients recovering from traumatic experiences. Deep down, he craved the simplicity and routine of military life, where one didn't have to second guess what your co-workers were planning in the office.
When the call came from Centurion, he was quick to sign up.
Psychological Profile:
Ephraim is a man of principle, and rather stubborn when it comes to them. He does not compromise for the sake of expedience, and has a strong moral compass. For him, it's the basic fundamental every soldier needs to have, and gives one's brothers in arms a reliable gun at their back. He does, however, tend to convey his beliefs and thoughts with generous amounts of snark and sarcasm, served with a side of brutal frankness that borders on scathing.
Given his background as a recce trooper, Ephraim is unsurprisingly adept at operating under stress and pressure. In his words, "You stop feeling stressed when the bad guys pee on you and don't realize you're there. In fact, you're trying not to laugh." A stark contrast, however, was his confession that his job entailed watching war crimes and atrocities being committed before his eyes and staying still. He has a clear desire to help wherever possible.
He tends to be reserved and introverted at first, cautiously weighing if he'd get along with someone before engaging them further. That said, he is professional enough to put aside personal pet peeves for the sake of the group. Anyone who earns his trust and confidence, however, will find they have earned a steadfast ally and friend.
