Hello. My name is Etch, and I am a relatively new member at RPG, but a very experienced role player with 6+ years ongoing. I generally write anywhere from 2-10 paragraphs, usually on the higher end of the spectrum unless my partner's posts are shorter. I do have a few rules, but they should go by pretty quick.
That being said, I do have an idea already in mind, but you are by no means required to use just this idea.
Finally, here are a few details about my main character, Sirius.
Name:Sirius Roxas Drew
Nickname: Seru (May go by either Sirius or Seru.)
Gender: Male
Orientation: Bisexual Demisexual
Species: Neko
Age: 17
Brief Timeline:
Age 0 yrs: Born to Marie Alice Drew shortly after the death of his father, Roxas Anthony Drew. His father was killed by his master as punishment for having a child with Marie. In honor of her lover, Marie gave Sirius the middle name Roxas.
Age 5 yrs: His mother gave him his father's eyepatch, knowing he'd be separated from her soon.
Age 7 yrs: Marie's master found a buyer for Sirius and Sirius was separated from his mother and sent to his first master, who was extremely lust-driven and bought him after foreseeing how attractive he may be as he grew older. He was very rebellious, though, and his master attempted to keep him in line without scarring him physically.
Age 11 yrs: His master raped him for the first time, unable to wait any longer and seeing no other option to keep him in line. Sex began to be used as a punishment.
Age 14 yrs: Sirius is still very rebellious, and his master is growing fed up with it. After a long day at work, his master eventually breaks down and takes it out on Sirius, gouging out his eye after asking why Sirius was always lugging around the eye patch his mother gave him, saying he'd give him a reason to actually wear it.
Age 15 yrs: Sirius's first master grows bored with Sirius after he lost his eye, and sells him to his second master, who was very abusive and left many of Sirius's scars on him.
Age 17 yrs: Sirius's second master makes a last attempt to break his spirit by cutting off his tongue, disabling his ability to speak permanently. An immediate effect was not eminent, so he put Sirius up for auction, yet as he was repetitively not sold at the auction it began to dawn on him that he'd be killed if he wasn't sold, and he knew it was because of his disabilities. He also was beginning to grow discouraged with his inability to eat most foods and talk, and it wasn't long before his spirit finally broke. The king was looking for an inexpensive slave for his son, and figured that a slave who physically couldn't talk back would be best for the prince as a first slave. So, he bought Sirius a few days before his son's birthday. Since, he's been staying in the palace's dungeon until the prince's birthday party. He would be presented to him after the end of the festivities.
1.) At least 2+ paragraphs per post is required. I believe in quality over quantity, but I do have a minimum for quantity at the same time. I hope that tells you how high my quality requirements are. Pfft.
2.) You don't have to use the idea I'm about to present. I'm open to most any idea, but this is just my current idea.
3.) No mature content, please. We can discuss what I consider to be mature and what I don't in PM's if you like.

In a world where the neko race is enslaved to humans, Sirius was born a neko. In that same world, a prince was also born, but as a human. Fate would tie them together in time, and the result would cause the world as they knew it to change dramatically.
Sirius has been a slave all his life, tied to a role he never wanted. The Prince of Alabern, a medieval kingdom off the coast of modern-day Italy, has also been born to a role he never wanted. Yet, their roles are very different. The prince is destined to be a king, where as Sirius is destined to be nothing more than property. When the King of Alabern began to seek a present for his son's eighteenth birthday, he decided it was time to give him the experience of ruling over a subject by giving him a slave. The prince has always been indifferent on slavery, having never fully understood the pain the slaves of Alabern suffer through.
The King reviewed several slave's profiles, yet none of them seemed to stick. Then, a noble came to the palace with a report, bringing along a slave with one eye and no tongue. The King was immediately interested, seeing the speechless slave as an opportunity to teach his son the basics of ruling over a country without being able to directly communicate with the people. When inquired, the noble claimed the slave's name was Sirius, and that he was actually auctioning him off at the moment. The king agreed to buy him, and presented him to his son several days later after his birthday party.
At first, the prince didn't understand why Sirius would pull away at every touch, or why he always seemed on edge. He didn't understand why Sirius's eyes were always tired and why he looked at him as if the prince was a predator and he was the prey.
Then, one night, the prince invited Sirius to sleep in his own bed, knowing the slave's quarters were cold and it was a particularly cold winter night. When they arrived in his room, Sirius attempted to take off his clothes, revealing a world of horrific scars, having misunderstood the offer. The prince stopped him from stripping, but realized in a sudden moment how terrible the slave's conditions were after seeing his scars. And thus begins the prince's quest to end slavery once and for all.
As the prince attempts to learn more about the world beyond the palace walls from a man who cannot speak, and as Sirius tries to learn more about the good side of humans from a man who is confined behind walls, their bond strengthens and they both evolve into new people--for better, or worse.
