I'm an old-school RPer, formerly on the now-defunct Whispers of Ghosts community, where I ran my flagship consistent universe that I called Resurgent Earth, an anarchy-ridden world set 100 years after an event called The Fall. Within RE, several individual stories ran, from a gang-war story between the Motown Militia and the Joe Louis Junkers, centered in Old Detroit, to One In The Chamber, a No York survival tale where a group of unconnected individuals find themselves thrown together, with one round apiece and few supplies.
I tend to prefer darker stories and cynical characters. Try as I might, some of my trademark snark comes through in my characters, which is why I avoid playing The Stoic or similar archetypes. From high-fantasy to post-apocalypse to steampunk to survival horror, I'll give anything with a defined universe a shot. As you might suspect from the name, I tend to play villains, anti-heroes, or pragmatic characters.
From what I've seen of 1x1 RP here, I'm less inclined toward /those/ types of RPs, however, I may partake if something piques my interests (Ask me if you must know, but I won't be so crass as to list them here.)
Outside of RP, I'm a gamer, computer nerd, and construction worker. I help at a local food pantry on Wednesdays and a cat shelter on Saturdays, so my replies those days might be somewhat delayed.
