"Oh really!? Thank you so much sweetie. I try my best." Purin began. "My name is Purin? What is your name? I see that you are a Rotom, I have never seen a Rotom before in my life. Well, at least not this way. I heard from them and have seen a few pictures of them, but that's it. I don't really get out too much, I'm usually singing and entertaining people in this place. Are you with those creepy Pokémon over there? All ghost types, and you are electric, or are you also ghost? Ugh, sorry, let's get back to the first question. What is your name?" Purin said after her long introduction of herself. Purin had the tendency to keep talking, and talking, and talking. She really can't help it.

Dictador widened its smile and turning around it shouted

"GUYS! THIS POKEMON HAS CALLED YOU CREEPY!"

The rest of the Bad Rulers turned to look in the direction of the Rotom and Purin. Autócrata didn't show any emotion on her featureless face, Tirano got an angry expression and Déspota gave a grimace glace at the jigglypuff and with sinister expression he said

"Oh, is that so?"

He then started to his eyes glow red and use shadow sneak in the floor around him so he would look darker and his eyes more brilliant

"I don't know what gave her that idea."

Then he stopped to start laughing maliciously with tirano and Autocrata, Dictador followed the laugh too. Then Déspota said

"Please, Dictador, you ghostly ball of electricity, don't interrupt us with obvious or stupid stuff, we are trying to do business here."

Dictador didn't say anything to them and instead went back to Purin, still smilling like an idiot

"Nice guys, aren't they?"
When Déspota turned back, he found himself facing the strange pokemon again

"You were saying?"

The pokemon cleared her throat and started to talk with a girl melody voice

"Temporal Tower. Does it sounds familiar to you?"

The one to answer this time was Autócrata

"Only in legends, settled into a hidden land and said to be home of a legendary pokemon"

Tirano put a smug face and interrupted

"Where did you learn that, girl? I didn't know your favorite pastime was fiction storytelling."

"You freaking idiot don't cease to amaze me. I got it from the "stories" section of the newspaper I'm subscript to"

"Are you wasting money on a freaking newspaper instead of food? I gonna die of starvation!"

"You are already death, imbecile"

The two of them continued their argument as Déspota and the other pokemon sneakily moved to another table, the others not even noticing. Then, Déspota reinitiated the conversation

"Pretty much what she said, huh?"

"More or less. We need someone to go there."

Déspota waited for her to finish the phrase, but seeing that she wasn't, he raised an eyebrow

"Go there and...?"

"And that's it, just telling me what is at the top of the tower. If the legendary pokemon exist or not."

"Wait, the tower exist?"

"That's what I'm saying, yes. Although reaching it won't be easy, I promise you a reward that will surely be worth it"

She then whispered said reward to the banette and his face turned into a wide smile that made him forget about any inquiry about the mission.

"OKAY THEN, TO THE HIDDEN LAND IT IS!"

"Wait a moment, bravado, although I consider yourselves good, there is a problem. You need to go with a team of the wigglytuff guild so the pokemon that will carry you to the hidden land will trust you. And also make sure that the team is powerful enough to face the enemies there."

"Oh, that's easy, give me a moment."

Déspota stood up on the table and taking air he shouted

"Travel agency offers tour to the legendary Hidden Land! Appliers please bring 1000poke per pokemon! Pertaining to a explorers team and being strong is required!"

Jess's mood sadden when she realized her attack barely did anything, then suddenly a black shadow snagged onto her ankles. "Gosh this isn't good... damn it..." She said, then saw a blinding light coming at her. She attempted to shield her face with her hands, but obviously it didn't work and the power of the moved knocked her to the ground. "oww oww oww... How can I be sure I can defeat it? Oh I know!" She had said. She then sat down and closed her eyes Meditate She said to herself empowering herself. She sat there Meditating until her team arrived in hopes that she could hit the Pokémon with her best shot.

SneakyNinja, as they were about to speed by, saw Jingle at the side asking them advice for being an explorer. Jacks came to the Klefki. "Well, head down to Beach Cave and fight some creatures! I'm sure you'll find somebody willing to join you! Also, we might be around here for a while, maybe we could help you out on building a team ourselves and make sure you get a head start on that beautiful journey you will eventually take part in!" Jacks said happily brushing Jingle's head. "We gatta go to Spinda's café to try and get some help for our mission, if you get no luck going to V\Beach Cave, come to Spinda's Café if we're still there, or just find us around!" Jacks said before they both quickly flew to Spinda's Café. Finally they walked into the Spinda Café when they heard/saw a Pokémon mentioning about taking Pokémon to Hidden Land for fat wads of money. Jacks however looked at Vince with eyes gleaming. "Vince! This is our chance! IF the Wigglytuff Guild won't take us there, these guys can!" Jacks said, about to head over there to dump 2000 Gold to go, then Vince stopped him. "Look, you think you can just easily get over there with money? These guys obviously have something they don't, and The Guild is the only ones that ever went there... In FACT only The Hero and his Partner only made it there, you think some random pokemon have access to such transportation, we should question them first..." Vince said to Jacks, and Jacks was shocked. "Vince, that's the most i have ever heard you talk!" "Don't get used to it bud..." Vince replied back. Jacks and Vince headed over to the group. "1000poké for each Pokémon you say? Well first off, how are we going to get there? and How soon?" Jacks said to Déspota.

As the shining blast made contact with Jess, bowling her over, a loud "Hah!" resounded throughout the cave. Unknown to its maker, the adulation was boisterous enough to alert several more of the cave's denizens, some of whom had been asleep, eating, or merely startled. In minute or two, the Beach Cave's resident Pokemon could very well converge on the Wobbuffet's location with malicious intent. Meanwhile, the Wobbuffet in question pumped his noodle-like arms and continued, "Score one for...uh...me!" Caught up in the hype of winning, he managed to momentarily ignore the fact that he had no memory of his name. He then slapped a hand to his head, indicating at the space between his eyes. "Come again, heathen brawler?" he declared dramatically.

Apparently his Meditite foe decided against 'coming again', for she sat down upon the floor, pressed her hands together, and closed her eyes, all with a serene yet somehow determined look on her features. The Wobbuffet quickly realized that he had absolutely no idea about how to go about attacking her. "Er..." he intoned, rapidly venting the confidence he had gained in the last minute or two. Jess made no movement, still sitting upon the floor. "You..uh...you gonna attack? I...don't think I can." A few drops of water from the ceiling and the steady, low roar of the distant breakers crashing against the floor filled the rather awkward silence. The Wobbuffet noticed his opponent's griseous anklet, and instinctively recognized it. "Oh yeah...Shadow Tag! I'm not sure how I know this, really, but you won't be able to run away until one of us is unconscious or we agree to a draw."

Jess remained motionless, still deep in meditation, waiting for incoming backup. A few shouts, scrabbling noises, and meaty thwacks could be heard from the next room; the Wobbuffet wondered what was going on. He rubbed his overlarge head, thinking. "You know, aside from the whole running-up-and-attacking-me thing, you don't seem like a bad fellow. No mindless brute, at any rate. If you're not going to press the assault, maybe we can come to some sort of understanding?" He wondered if she actually understood him; at the moment, she exhibited all the mental capability of a homegrown cabbage, and not a particularly fresh one at that. The Shadow Tag on Jess's ankle did, however, waver, as if it were about to sputter out.

The noises nearby had ceased, now that the Wobbuffet noticed. Before he had given it much thought, around a stony corner cartwheeled the Aipom called Pip, much to his surprise. "Whoa!" he yelped, "who in Heatran are you!?"

Pip kept moving as fast as his little legs would take him, splashing in small puddles of water as he ran. He winced as a cold drop of water hit his head, having had enough of the cold for one day. "Where is she?" He questioned, noticing some shadows from around the corner he was approaching. 'Is that her?' He pondered, as he put one of his hands onto the ground and shifted his body, happily doing a cartwheel into the room. He took a moment to stop, almost having too much fun. He landed on his feet and stared at the situation. What was a Wobbuffet doing here? He'd never seen one before, he didn't think any lived around here... Skeptical, he answered quickly. "I'm part of an exploration team!" He answered proudly, standing tall. Though that wasn't impressive, giving the Wobbuffet was still taller than him. "I'm here on an important mission, and that's my friend!"

Noticing the Shadow Tag, and the fact Jess was kind of just... Sitting there, Pip was silent for a moment, unsure of what was actually happening. "Um..." He blinked, starring awkwardly. "So... This doesn't look like a fight..." He said, figuring battles were much faster and more intense... Like the one he and his team just had... He wasn't sure of what to think. Was this just a really weird, slow... Boring battle? "Am I missing something? What's with that weird shadow?" He asked, honestly confused. He didn't know too much about what Pokemon could do what. That shadow thing was kind of cool! He wished in the back of his mind that he could do that, but knew it'd never happen. Sadly.

Just then, he felt an itch. 'Oh no...' He inhaled. "Aaah..." He raised his head slightly, inhaling again. "Aaaah..." He looked away quickly, before sneezing loudly. "Aaaah-CHOO!" The sneeze echoed throughout the cave, which while that was pretty cool, Pip was hating this cold. "Sorry, I..." He paused, sniffling. "Might have jumped into a blizzard."

"1000poké for each Pokémon you say? Well first off, how are we going to get there? and How soon?" Jacks said to Déspota.

"Oh, well done gentlemen, I promise you'll find it worth it. My name is Déspota and here is the organizer. Present yourself to the customers."

The unknown pokemon opened her eyes, she didn't expect that short of introduction, but there was no other choice.

"I'm Alice, the gourgeist, nice to meet you."

"I could answer your questions, but my advisory here (points at Alice) is the one in charge of the details and she will be able to explain it much better. So tell us, ALICE, how are we going to arrive there?"

"Do you know the Brine cave? The method of going is there. At the bottom of the cave there is a pattern on a wall that interacts with those pure of heart and the transport pokemon, who is the only one who knows the location, will carry those to the hidden land."

The banette was about to make a comment among the lines of "A transport pokemom? You gotta be kidding me..." but the presence of the two explorers, the shedinja and the ninjask, made him refract and he played along.

"As you can see, the time it take to reach the brine cave and then going down its 15 floors. But formalities aside, why don't you tell us your names?"
Autócrata and Tirano were still arguing like a pair of little kids, or like a couple, depending of how you looked at it. Although the shouting wasn't very loud, so they weren't being an annoyance to the rest of the people in the place, their body language and expressions give enough clues to make clear that they were getting angrier and angrier and it reached a point in which they didn't even know what to say and were resorting to pity insults in ad hominen style. At one moment, Autócrata stopped to response and put her arms on her head and started to concentrate, to which Tirano responded

"An what are you doing now? Your gaseous head can't hold all those insults and now is imploding?"

"Look who's talking about gaseous heads. I'm using calm mind to kick your ass."

"Oh, is that so? Bring it on!"

The gastly opened his mouth and started to charge a black ball on his tongue, he culd have launched the shadow ball at any moment, but he wanted to show Autócrata that he was being serious. When the lampent opened her eyes and saw the ball charging, she answered inmediately with a shadow ball of her own, which was launched at the same time that the one of Tirano, causing both of them to collapse and explode, launching the two ghosts in opposite directions. When Autócrata stood up, she couldn't find the gastly, who appeared all of the sudden from behind and emitted a powerful flash in the direction of his opponent, but that barely managed to scratch her, which made him think "This is what Dazzling Gleam does? pretty lame." He then tried to hie in the floor again, but the lampent responded by using flamethrower and caused the wooden floor to catch fire, the flames forcing Tirano to go outside of it, and the moment it went out of cover it was surrounded by a blue aura of psychic and tossed around, being launched through the opened window outside, but it was a great mistake for Autócrata to look outside because the moment she did she was hit by a thunderbolt and sent flying backwards. The gastly, visible injured, managed to float inside and in the confusion he managed to snatch an oran berry and eat it to regain energy, then he turned to look at Autócrata, who appeared among the dust drinking calmly a juice from a table.

"Was that supposed to hurt?"

The gastly got more angry and launched a shadow ball towards her, which was avoided and instead hit a furret, doing it no harm since it was a normal type. The lampent floated surrounding the gastly with flamethrower, obliging him to float upwards which was exactly what Autócrata wanted, who was already up and charging a shadow ball, too close to move to the sides of capable of going down because of the fire, Tirano seemed to have no escape, but he instead floated through her opponent the moment just before she threw the sphere (which hit and passed through a wooden wall) and both of them turned at the same time, the lampent with her eyes glowing blue and ready to use psychich and the gastly answering faster with a ball of sludge that hit Autócrata and made her fall to the ground. When she stood up, she started to concentrate again.

"Oh, no way in hell I'm letting you use your calm mind again."

Tirano launched another thunderbolt, but he failed and instead he hit an emolga, wait no, it was a pachirisu dressed with a hoodie that made it look like an emolga. This incident made the ghosts stop their fight and approach the pokemon

"Hey, are you alright?"

"Apple, apple, apple~" Mally was too distracted by the thought of a nice drink to honestly care about the discussions around her. She stopped a short distance from the Juice Bar, digging inside her cloak to find one of her apples. "Where are you, my pretty?" She let out a cute little cackle as she continued digging around, not noticing the fight going on behind her, or the screams. This included poor Deputy Magnemite, who was hiding under a table, and shaking in fear. Obviously he wasn't the bravest of souls, and prayed somebody would take charge.

Sadly this didn't happen, the fighting seemed to continue and the Magnemite wasn't sure if stepping in to stop it was good for him having a long lifespan. Him not taking action is perhaps what allowed the event that happened next. The small round ball of floating metal and magnets sparked as he saw the poor Pachirisu that fell down the stairs earlier end up getting zapped by a bolt of lightning. "Bzzt... Oh dear...

Mally had just found her apple, pulling it out with a smile as the bolt hit her directly. The shock didn't move her at all, in fact, she was standing more still than before. As the two ghosts approached, she began to shake. She dropped her apple, allowing it to hit the floor, still silent. It was perhaps concerning that she hadn't responded yet, but it wasn't long before an answer came to them about how Mally was currently feeling.

All the fur on her small body spiked and pointed outwards, crackling with electricity. She turned around, staring at the two ghosts with a big grin. "That..." She paused, shaking faster. She stood there for a moment, before finally letting out her answer with a booming voice. "FELT AMAZING!"

The Pachirisu began running around the Café giggling like she was crazy, overloaded with energy. Sadly during this she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, the crackling electricity was enough to be a makeshift volt tackle for anyone unfortunate enough to get in her path. Thankfully she seemed to be avoiding those still around, perhaps on purpose, but probably by chance.

"Hyperhyperhyperhyperhyperhyperhyper! Can't stop! So. Much. Energy!"

She continued to ramble until she crashed into a wall, to which the room fell silent again. With her fur still spiked, she fell backwards onto the floor, twitching slightly from the rush of energy. Her recklessness left a hole shaped perfectly like her in the wall, and now it was probably safe to say that she wasn't okay. Or maybe she was. It would honestly be very difficult for anyone to tell.

Jess suddenly heard in the midst of the Meditate when The Wild Wobbuffet spoke? Jess stood up. "So you are not a native Pokémon here, well sorry for attacking you haha!" Jess said laughing. "Oh man, I was using Meditate which improves my attack, and I was prepared to use bide if you was about to attack me, but it seems you are more friendly than most Pokémon here! heh!" Then she heard a sneeze from Pip and The Wobbuffet's statement about Pip's arrival. She turned to see Pip giving Jess a odd-ball look like Jess was doing something crazy. Jess sighed and scratched her head. "Well you see, I thought I saw a Pokémon and wanted to gain some more experience, but it seemed i needed more power so I preformed Meditate!" Then she looked over at the Wobbuffet. "Hey, why don't you come with us? I'm sure we can get over that little incident!" Jess said smilng putting her hand out towards the Wobbuffet. "Name's Jess!" The eager Meditite said.

Jacks was already convinced and about to slam money down before Vince intruded again. "Now I don't like to speak, but this is an exception being The Wigglytuff Guild, the very same guild that we had built this team and became Master Ranks, almost Master* Rank currently, denied us in helping our journey to Temporal Tower through the Hidden Land, the very same journey The Hero and his Friend has made. I'll make a deal with you both..." Vince said slamming 1000 Poké on the table. "We will make a down payment, then finish the payment when we get there, and if everything you say is true and we reach to Hidden Land, we will double to a total of 4000Poké net pay for this trip, if and only IF everything you say is correct. as for our names? I-" Vince was about to say his name before Jacks came in. "I'm Jacks, the Speedy Ninjask, and He's Vince, the Invincible Shedinja. We are the famous Team SneakyNinja and we will do what it takes to attain our goals!" Jacks said determined. Vince sighed. "You can get out of hand sometimes Ja-" he was once again interrupted by Jacks. " I know!" He said sticking his tongue out at the Shedinja.

She had to admit, Purin was startled a bit when the Rotom called over his 'creepy' friends. However she wasn't impressed, the way the other three were acting only made her think less about them. They still were creepy, not in a way you were scared of them, but more in a way that disgusts you. After the gang said something, to which Purin wasn't really paying attention. Not her business. The Rotom turned back around, and asked a question before having even answered one of them.

"Yeah yeah, they're nice. But didn't I ask you a question? Multiple, you could at least tell your name. Because right now your name is still 'that Rotom' for me. I don't want to sound bossy or angry, but it is very rude." she said with crossed arms, and a raised eyebrow, if she had one. "So anything you want to say to me?" she asked. She knew she was sounding rude, and maybe even a bit sassy, but she didn't care. She knew these kind of Pokémon also weren't Spinda's favorite customers.
Jingle looked amazed at Team SneakyNinja as they gave him some wise advice, before heading to Spinda's Cafe. He didn't like fighting, but he figured that he might find the excellent partner in that Beach Cave the two bugs told about. They were so nice, and you could see they really were heroes. He wanted to become just like them. Filled with energy he was pumped to go to Beach Cave and knock out some of them enemy Pokémon.

He floated to Beach Cave. When arriving on the first floor it was rather quiet. He encountered some small Pokémon that were easily defeated. He ventured through the cave until he suddenly heard a lot more noise than usual. It might have been a big horde of angry Pokémon gathered down here in the Beach Cave. This was an excellent way to find out if his powers were even worthy of becoming partners with someone else. He blindly stormed towards the crowd and shouted:

Fairy Lock!

When he performed his attack he laughed. "Well, now you all can't escape! I have locked you with my Fairy abilities. And now it is time to finish all of you off." he said prepared and starred at the group It included a Wobbuffet, a Meditate, and an Aipom. Yes this would prove if he had it in him to be an explorer. "Any last words." he said, as cliche as it could sound.

The Wobbuffet's craggy face broke out into a wide grin. That very instant, Jess's gaseous, nagging anklet dissolved into nothing, rendering her able to move about freely. "Great! I mean, I was totally going to beat you, but a good ol' ceasefire's fine by me! Traveling with you sounds like a fine idea; I'd be glad to join you." When Jess offered a hand, he waddled forward and took it without hesitation. "Jess, huh? Pleasure's all mine. I'm...I'm...eh..." His brow furrowed sharply as he, for the first time, found out he had no idea whatsoever what his name was. Though he would have liked to give it serious thought, the pause was beginning to fester into another unwieldy silence--he would have to wing it. "I'm...Revenge! It's what I do best, heheh! But just Venge is fine." He looked over at Pip, still wiping traces of boogers from his nose. "Blizzard in a cave, huh? That's pretty bizarre, but everything's kinda weird right now anyw...!"

Venge was interrupted as a odd-looking, metallic sprite rounded the same corner Pip had charged out from behind just moments ago. At first glance this thing looked like a floating keyring, but more disturbingly, it shouted at him and his newfound companions. Before Venge knew what was going on -this sort of blithering confusion seemed to be a trend today- a cloud of fast-moving pink and white particles materialized in the damp cave air and streamed around the Pokemon like swarms of insects, flying loops around everyone. Startled, Venge attempted to take a few steps back, but the glimmering stream constricted to prevent his escape. Just in time, the freaky keyring creature interjected, "Well, now you all can't escape! I have locked you with my Fairy abilities. And now it is time to finish all of you off." Though its words were fierce, the sheer goofiness of his assailant's appearance and the whimsical nature of its "Fairy Abilities" meant Venge just couldn't take its threat seriously. All he could do was chortle under his breath until the keyring demanded the trio's last words. Before any of his new buddies could speak, Venge roared, "you want a piece of us?! Bring it on, pixie!" With combat initiated, Venge's Shadow Tag leaped into effect: a grayish-purple tendril slithered across the stony floor from where he stood, reached up, and wrapped itself around Jingle's minuscule torso. He wasn't going anywhere either.

Pip was wiping his nose as Jess explained why she ran off, it was certainly understandable. Becoming stronger was important for anyone wanting to be in Wigglytuff's Guild, or just part of an Exploration Team in general. Though it was rather careless of her to run off, he wasn't exactly the most careful himself, so saying anything really wouldn't get him anywhere. He was glad to see everything calmed down, he wasn't sure exactly how the fight would have gone considering he hadn't ever fought a Wobbufett before. Considering Jess seemed to be having trouble though, Pip just assumed the Wobbuffet, who introduced himself as Revenge, or Venge for short, was mildly powerful. He was going to reply to the blizzard comment, but turned at the sound of somebody else entering the room.

"W-What?!" Pip shouted out in confusion, the move used by the Jingle took him by surprise, and he wasn't too sure of what to think. It didn't hurt, that was for certain. He was very confused, and thought it over in his head for a moment. 'Fairy Lock? What does that even do?! Maybe it's just something minor... Maybe restricting my moves? Or preventing me from running?' Pip glanced over at Venge, noticing his attempt at backing away didn't succeed in the slightest. 'So we have to fight. No problem! But- ... Wait. Huh?'

The threats concerning their last words were not comforting for Pip in the slightest. He knew it was dangerous out here, but usually Pokemon didn't just charge and ask about your last words. Though, putting two and Remoraid together made it easy for Pip to figure out that this Pokemon's ill intentions could possibly mean he was a criminal! This instantly made him perk up, and put up his dukes as Venge accepted the challenge with a booming roar for combat. Pip stared at the shadow that went across the floor, connecting to the Klefki. That was still awesome.

"I've got way too many baddies to crush to let someone just come in and defeat me!" Pip added to Venge's response, before lowering down onto all-fours and running strait towards his opponent. He leaped into the air, and took the most direct approach, quickly approaching Jingle from above. The tips of his paws began to glow white as he came closer, and when he was in range, he would attempt to hit Jingle with Scratch.

Dictador laughed like a maniac before answering Purin

"Didn't you hear him? I'm Dictador! And besides a ghost type I'm also electric type, and I can play music too, want to listen?"

The rotom approached the amplifier and put one of his beam arms inside the connector track and with the other it grabbed a microphone. By chance, Déspota turned his head and looked in the direction of Dictador and upon seeing what it was doing he shouted.

"NO, DON'T YOU DARE TO..."

And then the rotom did... Something. The banette put the arms on his non existing ears and shouted to try to get noticed above the loud noise.

"DAMN IT DICTADOR, EVERY FREAKING TIME. EVERY, FREAKING, TIME!"

Déspota, seeing that he was a bit far, used shadow sneak and hit the rotom immediately, who felt unconscious and before fainting it said

"Hey, did you know that Rotom is Motor in reverse? Hihihihihihi."
Raddum said
"Hyperhyperhyperhyperhyperhyperhyper! Can't stop! So. Much. Energy!"

Tirano and Autócrata looked at each and then slowly turned around to look at the havoc they have caused, luckily the pokemon in the place were still too confused to make anything and most of them were paying attention to the pachirisu that had just broken through the wall.

"So what n..."

They were interrupted by a recognizable horrible noise that was followed by the shouting of their leader. Autócrata said

"I think we should get back to Déspota, he must be a biiiiiiit pissed right now."

"Yeah, that seems the best idea, although I was about to beat you back there."

"What are you talking about? Your attacks weren't doing anything, I would have defeated you in no time."

"You are bluffing, probably that juice you took earlier damaged your thinking process in some way or other."

They were about to re initiate their arguing when Déspota approached and angrily said

"And you two..."

He gave the both of them a quick shadow claw that felt like a slap.

"You think I didn't notice your spectacle too? I'm trying to speak to clients, for the love of..."

Tirano and Autócrata looked at Déspota and to each other with an angry expression but they didn't say anything. They all went back to the table with Alice and the SneakyNinja team.
Sadly, the problem was that Déspota had no idea if what Alice was saying was true or not, but considering that the ninjask and the shedinja didn't know about how worth the reward would be, it was just expected that they had their doubts, unlike him.

"Okay, Jacks and Vince, I think you qualify for coming along to this expedition. BUT! we cannot accept your offer. We've said 1000poke per pokemon and with you two that's a total of 2000poke, no less, no more. You can pay half now and the other half later, but we can't accept 2000 more."

Tirano and Autocrata widened their eyes and were about to complain, but the banette grabbed both of them and whispered them the reward the gourgeist talked about, making not only both of them cease their desire to complain but also get unexpectedly excited and cheerful.

"However, keep in mind that we also need to accompany you all the way, what would be of our reputation as travel organizers if we got some of our customers lost? That said, the travel will finish when we all get safe and sound back to this same town, deal?"

Nobody noticed, but Alice turned her back to make a malicious smile and hold her laughing.

Jess smiled at venge's stutter. "Haha neat! Venge it is!" Jess said laughing seeing the black shadow untag her ankle, as much as she loved that freedom, she was immediately trapped again by the Fairy Lock, then heard the Klefki speak, "Well, now you all can't escape! I have locked you with my Fairy abilities. And now it is time to finish all of you off." Jess frowned at this, and assumed this Pokémon meant business. Then the Klefki asked for their final words and Jess clinched her fist. "We got this guys! Let do this!" She said! "And luckily I still have full power do to my Meditate, so let's do this!" She said. "Confusion!" She said attacking the Klefki with the Full Power Confusion.

Vince was strangely confused and looked at Jacks. "These guys are quite, well, strange... Should we trust them?" Vince asked Jacks, to which Jacks answered. "Why not? It's worth the shot, especially if they are correct!" Jacks said to which Vince nodded and then looked at Alice. "Well it appears we have business then! However, I question why you refused more money if you guys are telling the truth, most would anyway... but if I had to take a guess you guys really are modest and outgoing, so we are putting our faith upon you. I really hope you don't fail us!" Vince said sounding a bit happy, then Jacks came in. "Sooooo when are we going to go? I would really love us to go now! The sooner we get to Hidden Land, the sooner our goals will be complete!" Jacks saying flying around in circles in joy. Vince just sighed as Jacks does this.

Jingle saw these bunch of bandits were serious. It seemed that he had to put all his moves into action if he wanted to claim victory. After being grabbed by the one Pokémon, the Wobbuffet to be exact he only smiled. Like always he shouted out his next attack.

Crafty Shield!

A shield appeared around him for a split second. It was't a shield that would get the Wobbuffet off him, but instead it would stop the next move from inflicting confusion on him. He took the damage of Confusion but quickly saw another Pokémon approaching. The Aipom charged at him. Now would be the best time to use his Fairy Lock, the move he inflicted earlier in battle. A sound of a key locking a door was heard, the Fairy Lock was activated and prevented his opponents from moving. His next move was to get rid of the Wobbuffet that held him in a tight grip.

Jingle used Spikes. A tile of spikes appeared beneath the Wobbuffet, that would hopefully release him from his grip. After he got out he took his distance from the still locked opponents. He got to use one more move before the lock would ware off. He stood back and shouted.

Fairy Wind!

A big blast of wind was thrown at the bad guys, of which Jingle thought they were, and would inflict some decent damage on them. Fairy Wind wasn't one of the strongest moves but did quite some damage to not one, but all opponents in the area. The downside of this all was that he didn't have any moves left to surprise his opponents with. Now he had to play smart.

Just as Venge was really beginning to enjoy himself, preparing to watch his new buddy Jess beat the tar out of this naive keyring with her Confusion attack, Jingle went and did something tricky yet again. Though the shield the Fairy-and-Steel-type Pokemon created failed to halt the wave of psychic energy blasting from Jess's fist, it did seem rather...weakened. Still unsure of how to initiate an attack, Venge was caught off-guard when Jingle attempted to escape from his Shadow Tag by summoning a layer of Spikes beneath him. For the most part, the little caltrops were too spread apart to effectively wound him, but a sharp jab to the bottom of one of Venge's stubby legs -heralded with an indignant "agh!"- broke his focus and encouraged him to move. The magic keyring did the same, moving out of convenient slapping range and preparing his next move. Venge took the opportunity to momentarily turn his back as he endeavored to maneuver his way out of the Spikes and onto less prickly ground. "Go on, fellas," he called over a shoulder as he stepped over a spike, unaware that his tail was exposed, "Smash those sparkles out of him!"

The sparkles in question, however, were on their way out anyway. With a shout of "Fairy Wind!" a glittery gust swept through the cave, pelting all Pokemon in the vicinity like a sandstorm. The rain of pain hit them all, but it surely hit Venge's vulnerable tail the hardest. Instantly a surge of adrenaline flowed through his veins, and he turned back to face his opponent with a bellow of rage and the know-how to perform a new move. Out of nowhere, a spotlight shone on Jingle and the air around him exploded with confetti. "No more Shields!" Venge growled. "No more Spikes! No more Locks! Time to fight 'mon to 'mon!" He leaped forward, putting all four of his legs into the powerful spring, and landed right next to Jess. He was twice her size and almost triple Jingle's, and with a scowl on his face he looked almost intimidating. What was more scary was that, due to Venge's Encore, Jingle would only be able to use Fairy Wind--an attack practically made for Mirror Coat.

"True, let's get going"

The banette jumped from his chair and before going to the door, he first passed through to where Dictador was laying and with little effort he lifted the pokemon and carried it like a rag doll, weighting only a third of a kilogram (0.66lb) it was no sweat, but because it would be annoying to carry it like that a long way Déspota used his frisk ability to find and grab a revival seed and use it on Dictador, who, upon waking up, was about to talk but was interrupted before it could say a word

"SssshhSSSsshhhshshssssssssssshhhhh... It's over now."

The Rotom just smiled and got up to move with the others. Once the team was complete, they all moved outside and headed towards the brine cave, not without giving a last look to the now destroyed interior of the Spinda Cafe and considering the possibility of getting in trouble once all the chaos calmed down

"No time to get items, we'll move with what we are carrying right now with us. In case of necessity we will provide of the wild keckleon merchants and kangashkan rocks."

And thus they commenced their travel. It started with some moments of uncomfortable silence, in which none of the members of the party decided to talk, despite the clear excitement of the ninjask Jacks, which was shared by Dictador. Seeing how boring it would be to make all the travel in silence, Déspota decided to break it by asking the bug duo

"So, Jack and Vance, was it? You said you were part of the guild, and you must feel very confident about your abilities to come. You see, we are a team as well, but a rescue team, so we work solo, without any boss. These are Tirano (points at the gastly, who just nods), she is Autócrata ("Hi!") and that rotom flying around over there is Dictador, I suggest you don't try to bring it near anything electronic, put anything you value inside its mouth or feed it after midnight. He he he..."

The banette took a moment to bite the berry he had taken from the spinda cafe and savour its sour flavor with satisfied expression.

"I wonder, how is it to work for wigglytuff? Can you tell me a bit about your team and how do you do?"

(Gonna wait for Jess)

SneakyNinja was more than delighted to know that they might be getting their wish pretty soon...As Jacks was having a lot of fun associating with The Rotom, Vince turned his attention to Déspota. "Vince, not Vence, but it's fine I suppose... being that actually my full name is Vincent, but I only get called that name when Jacks is serious, which is really rare... I'm usually not the one talking... but I'm pretty excited, so I suppose I have to lighten up..." He had said then continued. "As for our abilities, I honestly believe there are stronger teams out there... it's just that since The Hero's team, no one has seen a team as capable as ours. Jacks. however is pretty confident of our abilities like how he said I was 'Invincible' when in reality there are a few ways to get around to my immunities..." He then takes noticed of Déspota's team as he pointed to each of them. "Ah, well it seems Jacks finally found somebody that can share his energy... I constantly get exhausted by his enthusiasm, thus is one of my secret reasons to take him to Temporal Tower, so we can finally go against Dialga and lose to him so Jacks can calm down a bit, but I won't hold back if we do get the chance, being I want to see my capability as well..." Vince said chuckling. " Now working for Wigglytuff? If was such a drag... took a major percentage of our money and got credit for most of our work, and when we complain, we have to skip meals... THAT'S ridiculous... I'm surprised Jacks was able to handle that before his evolution thus leading onto our birth, then i experienced that and well, I wanted to hurt that Wigglytuff so bad... So glad we finally can do our own thing. So a rescue team you say? Working by yourself with no one to hound you, that has to be nice." The Shedinja spoke finally ending his speech looking back onto Jacks and Dictador and sigh at their continuous energy. After all of that they reached to Brine Cave and looked at a small monument that is near the entrance showing a Pikachu with a Piplup right a it's side, then Vince hovered over to read the description.

"Vi..e and hi. par.ner .... walked thr.ugh th.s pla.ce which lead to o.r wor.d bein. saved! Without............" Vince was barely able to read to himself before everything else became unrecognizable to read. Vince sighed and gave up trying to read it, but can assume that this was a monument memorating the accomplishment The Hero and his partner of saving the world. Sure enough this was where the Hero went to go to the Hidden Land, and as such Jacks was livid with joy. "Hey Dictador, wouldn't your team love to come with us to Temporal Tower? We could totally use some more navigation and maybe some help getting to The Divine One of Time!" Jacks said eager to start his journey through Brine cave, as such Vince looked over to the Banette. "I'm ready when you are..." He said, and if he could make facial expressions you would see a faint smile.. sadly he just hovered there looking emotionless.

'This'll be a clean hit!' Pip thought, at least up until Jingle's Fairy Lock stopped all of his momentum and left him suspended in the air. The sudden stop made him feel like he had just rammed directly into a wall instead of a bunch of stupid floating pixie dust. He was struggling, honestly not noticing much about the battle below as he tried to break himself out of the glowing prison. Of course, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't budge. A criminal always had a trick up their sleeve! Or in this case, attached to their keyrink. 'I can't even move my mouth...' Pip complained mentally, hoping the others were doing better than he was.
"Do you hear fighting?" Isole asked, sitting down on the cave floor, staring at her partner as he slowly ate an Oran Berry. "I think I hear fighting." She added with a small frown, glancing past Lucio, who simply dismissed it as he lowered the berry to shake his head. "I'm positive that Pip is fine. Any Pokemon in here will be surprised that it'll take a lot to keep him down for long. He's... Determined."

"That's the most you've spoken all day!" Isole commented with a grin, and Lucio simply rolled his eyes in response, before going back to eating. He was feeling a bit better, considering the berry's healing properties, but his chest would be a weakspot for a short while. Lucio didn't make anymore conversation, instead just waiting patiently for Pip to return. Isole, not being given much choice, did the same. Still hearing the occasional noise...

Purin looked as the Rotom, named Dictator, took control over the microphone and played the worst sound known to men. When he returned to her, Purin crossed her arms. "I don't know if I want to talk to you anymore. Usually I'm very talkative, but I just can't talk with you if you keep doing all kinds of things that derail from the conversation. Sorry I just can't do this." Purin said and turned around. "By the way, I have to perform again. That is if the microphone still works after you messed with it." before walking on stage she first were to get some more juice from Spinda.

While drinking her juice she thought about it yet again. Leaving the cafe, and joining the explorers. She figured that Dictator and his friends were an explorer team too, while having some mafia aspects? Well, maybe she should just visit Wigglytuff's Guild sometimes. Only she didn't have a partner, and she didn't think she would be let in simply because they are from the same species.
Jingle had a smile on his face. "I've got them." he mumbled to himself. The other Pokémon were already preparing for their next attack, he had to perform his next attack as quickly as possible. What would be the most useful now? He had multiple opponents now, so Spikes wouldn't help much. Crafty Shield would help against the Meditite, but not against others from what he knows. Fairy Lock it would be.

Fairy Lock!

Nothing happened. Jingle panicked. Why wasn't his move working properly, he had much energy left, and nothing was preventing him from using it, right? Jingle tried to use other moves, Spikes or Crafty Shield, but it all didn't work. "Why aren't any of my moves working!" he said and then unleashed a Fairy Wind, the move he used last. After making a Fairy Wind, he backed down again, he wanted to prevent getting killed by the inhabitants of this cave.

Jess had gotten hit with the Fairy Wind that protruded from the Klefki, and Meditite would have flown if Fairy Lock wasn't restricting her. To make matters worse, it was super effective. Jess fell temporally and then rose back up. man that packed a punch... She thought to herself as she thought on what she should do, then she heard the last thing she wanted to hear. "...Encore..." Venge had said. Meditite knew exactly that this meant the Fairy Wind would just keep coming. Luckily, however, the Fairy Lock was no longer active so she could move freely. She looked around her until she found an oran berry and ate it, the sat down near the Klefki, but not to close. Bide... She said as she sat back down meditating, but this time she let of a slight glow. Then it came, another Fairy Wind. She endured the hit as best as she could and she managed to survive and now the glow was starting to get brighter, and she just hope she can survive another hit so she can unleash it all.

"But of course, we already said we would take care of our clients"

As nice as that sounded, the truth was that their were really the ones in charge of going to the hidden land and temporal tower, and if what Alice said was right, they would need someone pure of heart to arrive there, and while none of the members of the Bad Rulers were really evil, it would be laughable to suppose that any of them were completely "pure of heart", that's what the ninjask and his brother would provide, if they were heroes as they said.

"So it's everyone ready? let's go into the brine cave"

The first floors were easy, even though they were often attacked, the wild pokemon came in low numbers, one or two at the time, usually a kingler, a gastrodon or a walrein. The Ghost group compensated their relative low level (compared to the SneakyNinja team) by teamwork (if you can call teamwork ganging up altogether at the same time on the same enemy), a tactic rather brute, but effective. While Déspota saw on a couple of times how Jacks and Vince were attacking as well, true is that he never saw Alice attacking even once, but she was at the back and the banette was leading the way, so it could be that he was simply not seeing much.

After some time walking/floating (it's ironical how the banette was the only one who needed to touch the floor) they finally reached the final 15th underground floor, and they could just feel that the end was near, what would be the transport pokemon that would carry them to the hidden land?
Just when they stepped into a spacious room, suddenly a bunch of wild pokemon fell from the ceiling, two omastar, a kabutops, a pair of dragonairs, three staryu a tentacool and a walrein, Autócrata pushed Déspota quickly to one side just when a water gun was about to hit him

"it's a monster house, watch out!"

The whole party was cornered, they have been able to advance thanks to the enemies being just one or two at the time, but now that they were facing a lot of them they would need to fight for real.
