Greetings, one and all! If you've been invited to the RP (or happened to find it perusing and think you're up to it), you have a chance to audition for a role in what I aspire to be my most auspicious RP yet. If you enjoy tombs, ancient magic, war, exploration, and foes of all manner, I think you've come to the right place. This Roleplay will be set in Torek, a fantasy world of my own creation and mythology, a universe I have been brainstorming for 7 years now. More particular, you'll be in the Northern Marches, a vast area of wilderness in between various nations of the North. Forest Elves, Dwarves, Giants, Trolls, small settlements and large city states fill the Marches. While the area is technically claimed by the largest human nation, Andred, in truth it is a vast swathe of land up for grabs with total autonomy. To the west is Bania, the hard drinking nation of Men and Half Elves. To the east is Thangoradrim, a hard fighting nation of ancient men. The southern passes lead to Andred and the rest of the Northern nations, included passes that move further eastward into the Steppes and the Khalahar plains, or westward to the decadent and sorcerous nation of Vrettonia. Northwards is the Northern wastes, a land of tundra and barbarians past the Dragonback mountains. If you're too curious to wait for my OOC, here is a small guide for the world, albeit one I am updating and revamping for this Roleplay, so take it with a grain of salt.
A few things to note. I'm known for being extremely lenient, but this time that's going out the window. I trust the people whom I have invited (though I still expect well made character sheets), but if you've stumbled upon this RP, or you're in another one I GM, don't think this will be the same or that you are guaranteed a spot. This is not first come, first serve.
