Hi,
I guess that it would be polite to start with a short introduction about myself. I am Dutch, but I have been living abroad for these last few years, in order to work on my PhD. I have quite a hectic life, but I like to try to make some time for things like roleplaying and writing. I started roleplaying like so many others, by secretly playing certain games. Later on, I discovered that I found rules and the like a bit restricting, as I enjoy having the freedom to design a character with all the flaws and strengths, and not one strictly bound to specific rules. So, over the years, I have started to tend more towards rules-light roleplaying, and of course, writing. Currently, I am mostly working on a story set in Ptolemaic Egypt, but I guess that it's not that relevant for this topic.
My topics of interest are quite variable. I enjoy both modern and historical settings, with varying amounts of fantasy thrown in. I like to think that I can also put some variety in my characters, although there are a few traits that they have in common. First of all, they're always women, and secondly, if it comes up, they are lesbians like me. I tried writing other things, but found it much more difficult, and even a little uncomfortable. And we are doing this to relax after all.
I don't really know what else to add, but if you have any questions, I will gladly answer them.
