Skylar was walking through the halls with her things looking for the dorm that she was just assigned to. "Where the hell is b-4?" She muttered irritably to herself.

Ember skips though the halls humming a toon. Soot fell from her wings as justvwondered the halls oblivious on what's happening

Skylar finally found the room and put a few things down so she could unlock the door. She then grabbed the things she set down and pushed her way through the door and started unpacking.

Ember stopped at the opened door and looks in "hello?"

Skylar quickly looked up from what she was doing. She tensed up ready to defend herself if necessary. "who are you?" she asked in a harsh tone.

"Ember" she says innocently "what's your name" she has a bright smile that could light up a room.

"Skylar," she said bluntly with her ears back. "Why are you in my room?"

"I'm not in your room. I'm in the hallway looking into your room" she doesn't seem to mean it in a mean way,

Skylar glared at her. "I didn't ask for you to be a smart ass."

She tilts her head "I'm not being a smartass. Am I?" She looks up thinking, she seems harmless enough

Skylar looked at her with suspicion but slowly lessened her guard and rolled her eyes and went back to unpacking.

"So you're the new student?"

[Neko of Death]

"Yeah I guess. I mean from what I've heard this place hasn't been open long. The headmistress told me they are still trying to get all young creatures out of jails and orphanages and slave trades but it's hard to find them."

[Firegirl1015]

"Some harder then others. I was the first to be found and I think that was because I burnt down the last three orphanages I was in"

[Neko of Death]

Skylar looked and Ember then at all of the flammable things she was unpack. "Um well it was nice meeting you but I have to get back to what I was doing," she said frantically and quickly went and closed the door.

"Oh. Well ok. See you later" she walks off humming

Skylar shook her head and continued unpacking. She looked around the room trying to figure out what she could do to make it fit her liking more. As it was with the new laws in place the government gives each creature $2,000 a month since it's still hard for a creature to find a job. Once she was finished she walked out the room, locked the door behind her and headed for an exit.

Skylar walked out into the court yard then shifted into a griffon and spread her wings to take off.

Ember looks up and sees the griffin "hey a griffin! I thought they were endangered"
