As soon as the admiral dismissed them to ease he grabbed a seat and faced forward to listen to the debrief. To his delight he reinforced Atticus' command of the team, Which also put a lot of pressure on him to get the job done. It was a relief and a disappointment that they were going to be going against marines, unlike the usual combat robots and their programing. Szabo also liked the add on the end, 'If you hold delusions that you will be able to handle this on your own, you are mistaken.' He nodded when the Admiral said that.

"Any questions?" he asked. Szabo thought for only a fraction of a microsecond then had multiple questions. "What ammunition and ordinance will we have? Where are we going? Do we know the location of the flag, and whats the evac plan?" He listed quickly and concisely. "Also, Will we be using our Mjolnir armor? Admiral, one last thing, Do we get a team A.I.? If so who will be its carrier?" Szabo knew that most squads got an A.I. and was excited to know if they would be receiving one. Szabo looked at the others to see if his questions had covered it all. Then returned to the Admiral for the responses

After Marshall had finished his speech and asked for questions, he listened to the fresh, new captain ask some decent questions. A small smirk came across his face as he listened. Maybe these recruits would actually live long enough to kill a few of the Covenant. He answered the questions in rapid succession, with a patient tone.

"You'll be issued full combat complement, so whatever your chosen weapons are and Mjolnir power armor. You will be issued stun rounds as will the Marines, theirs are just a tad bit more powerful. As for where you're going, its just as this map shows, an island. Thats all you need to know for a training operation, and as for evac, thats up to you. The flag is wherever the Marines choose to put it and thats probably the worst place for you to reach. As for the AI, her name is Oriana."

Marshall places the small chip on the table in front of the Captain and nods to him.

Daniel wasn't offended in the least by Captain Szabo's comment. Especially since moments later an Officer walked into the room, putting everyone at attention.

Daniel listened to the Rear Admiral intently. He was all fun and games when the time allowed for it, but now it was time for work. As the Ranger and the Pathfinder for this team he paid special attention to the map. It never hurt to memorize the site of a mission and for Daniel, Land Nav was his bread and butter.

As he was about to inquire about the specifics of the mission location, 'Cap' jumped in and asked several of his own. "What ammunition and ordinance will we have? Where are we going? Do we know the location of the flag, and whats the evac plan? Also, Will we be using our Mjolnir armor? Admiral, one last thing, Do we get a team A.I.? If so who will be its carrier?"

Rear Admiral Marshall answered just as Daniel had presumed he would. He certainly didn't expect any real intel from a training mission, but it was nice to atleast get a full weapons compliment and an A.I. to boot.

'An A.I? I didn't think we would be getting one but that will help out a lot.' Intel was life and death on the battlefield and an A.I. could provide a huge edge in that department. 'As for who carries it, it would certainly have to be the captain right?' It was the only position that made any logical sense to Daniel to be holding on to the A.I. As cool as it would be to lug Oriana around in his head, it certainly wasn't in his job description. The room seemed to have gone quiet for a second, until Daniel decided to break the silence with a question of his own.

"So... When do we leave?"

Ethan listened carefully listened to what Rear Admiral Marshall had to say, and making sure he had a thorough understanding of everything. When Atticus had asked his questions, Ethan grew a bit more respect for the captain's attempts to better understand the mission. When everything had been said, he began strategizing once more. How could they take every advantage that they can?

For example, where could they start? choosing the ideal location to begin looking for the enemy would allow them to fight on their own terms, which could be the difference between success and failure. Ethan looked at the map, calculating the risks and advantages of every possible location. When he finally found a good spot for them to begin, he made a mental note to tell Atticus before they leave.

The amount of ammunition they had could be a possible issue, but Ethan decided that there should be enough ammunition between all of them. The A.I. was a pleasant surprise, and even Ethan paused at that announcement.

"So... When do we leave?"

This is a question that actually made Ethan think a bit more highly of Daniel, seeing as time could also play a vital role in the outcome of the mission. The ideal time for battle could vary between the roles in the team; for example, as tactician, Ethan's visor allowed him to see the location of the enemies no matter where they were or how dark it was, as long as they were in the nearby area. However, some of the members were not trained to operate the technology Ethan uses in order to do what he does.

Though the invitation to move closer and view the map hung in the air Atari kept her place at the edge of the room, simply relaxing back against the wall into her previous position when the Admiral’s “At ease” rang through the room. The terrain concerned her little, and she had no say in the specifics of the mission. Instead of butting in and questioning things she let the captain take care of it and went back to studying the others, all but tuning out the idle conversation. It was but a buzzing in her ear.

Szabo seemed the most into the conversation, and his apparent additions sparked interest among the other Spartans, causing them to jump in with a few words themselves. Legs and Warren were both listening intently, leaning in towards the group and studying the map. It was likely that at least one of them would recommend a potential drop point to the captain, as each of them had jobs which made them more adept in determining such thing than the rest of the squad. It made no difference to Atari where the drop was, she could do her job almost anywhere. She preferred a higher point, working with all the others, both friend and foe, below her as that made tracking enemies and taking them out the absolute easiest, but it didn't make too much of a difference if she was on the same plane as the others.

Atari was paying just enough attention to hear Legs ask when they were leaving, and it would have been a lie to say the same question hadn't crossed her mind. She decided then that it might actually not be a bad idea to pay some attention to the conversation, and pushed off the wall, taking a small step closer to where the map was.

Another downside to being short is that when tall people gather somewhere it can be near impossible to see over or around them. Such was the case with the group surrounding the map, and Atari rolled her eyes and sat down in a chair instead. She leaned back and folded her arms across her chest, listening, but not making it nearly as obvious as Warren or Legs, both of whom made it blatantly obvious that they were interested in the mission, possibly excited even, which was certainly justifiable. Their first real mission as a squad would be enjoyable to others who liked the idea of working as a team. Atari simply wanted to get out and prove her worth as a Spartan, and she didn't need a team for that, and it was clear she didn't want one.

All throughout their training, years and years at the base, Atari had made very few friends. Her days consisted of training and she didn't often fraternize with others in the program. There were some trainees that she had spoken to a handful of times, but overall she knew no one on a personal level, and wanted to keep it that way. She hadn't always been her cold, stoic self. Before her initiation into the Spartan program she had been a fairly normal little girl, in a fairly normal family. Her older brother and younger sister were her closest friends, and she had a group of kids in the neighborhood that she spent many days with, laughing and playing together. Unfortunately a side effect of the program was that you were forced to grow up very quickly. And for Atari that meant saying goodbye to her fun-loving childish nature. It would only serve to hinder her mission.

The admiral gave legs a Stern look letting him know he had stepped out of line. Regardless of his recklessness the admiral let it slide and nodded dismissing the squad.

Szabo took the A.I. and put it around his neck (the chip was on a neckless) and made a gesture (his index finger extended and twirling in a circle) for the team to form up on him and pointing his finger he led them out the door at the back of the briefing room.

As Atticus thought on the way to the mjolnir suitup stations he couldn't help but maul over the fact that they only had one vehicle specialist. He knew the A.I. could do a lot of flying but he didn't want to have to rely on it.cnot for the human instinct he knew the vehicle specialized Spartans had. He shrugs the thought away and continued on down the hall. Taking a brief second to hold up his hand in a fist to halt the group. Szabo turned on his heels and looked back over the group, taking role almost. He made sure everyone was behind him then he nodded to the team, getting a few nods back, he rounded the corner and stopped at the nearest station stepping up onto the platform typing in his Spartan I.D. then waiting for the machines to do their job and hook on all his armor. He was lifted and twisted and turned all around until the machine was done and he returned to how he started. He checked the rest of the team down the corridor they were all in and was satisfied that no one had any major issues. Atticus rose his voice and gave a quick 'round up' shout to get them all up and ready with their new gear. It was heavy... Really heavy... But this is what he trained for... It was all stuck and didn't shift when he moved... It actually made his movements a little quicker and made it a hell of a lot easier to lift things.

Once everyone was done checking themselves and the team out they strode into the hallway and down towards the armory with hightened confidence from the gear. Making their way through the stockpiles of weapons they all headed straight to their favorite weapons and were handed the stun rounds. Surprisingly enough it was just lockdown paint... Atticus took a second and almost laughed thinking about what a marine would feel like after getting hit with one of these bad part was, no silent bullets or fadeing explosions the purple was going to be everywhere. His brow furrowed but no one could see through his tinted EVA helmet. Szabo had his trusty DMR and a magnum for closet combat as well as one of the regenerating lockdown paint knives. He also grabbed 2 grenades and advised his team to do the same no matter what position they were assigned. When he was all loaded up he clicked his magnum into place on his right thigh and slung his DMR over his back onto the magnetic pad on his armor.

Satisfied with his team's busy and clean work he took a quick look at them one last time and made a motion with his hand to start heading out to the hanger where they would be getting their ride to their mission.

Solton quickly made his way to his once given the order. Admiral Marshall was clean cut a demanding in his tone. He brought up a map on the screen in front of them and began to speak. The Admiral spoke highly of Szabo, giving him a status on par with himself during the mission at hand. A "capture the flag" type of mission in more or less words was being explained. Warning of its danger and the fact that everyone would need to work together to reach victory was also spoke. Of.

Solton tensed a bit as the Admiral spoke. This is just another version of lockdown paint. He had to work with these people and try his best to keep everyone live. 'What if I fail' Solton thought to himself as he tended the Wounds in his mouth with his sore tongue.

The Admiral kept making eye contact with Solton as he paced back and forth. Did he see how nervous he was. Ailton dodged the glances as often as he could without seeming weak.

"Any Questions?" The Admiral ended.

Solton started to stand, but this wasn't the time. He adjusted his weight in the seat and interlocked his fingers as he leaned forward resting his forearms on his thighs. 'Now isn't the time to be seen' Solton thought taking quiet deep breaths.
