"How did this happen?
What caused it?
Why did our plane go down?
Everything was fine, nothing seemed to be wrong just minutes prior to the explosion, and then the next thing we knew we were going down. Spiraling thousands of feet down toward the dark depths of the ocean below. If we hadn't reached our parachutes in time who knows if we would even still be alive or not.
I'm not even sure if everyone made it or not, but that's not important right now.
What's important is that I find my wife and son. I know they are alive, they made it off the plane before I did, and I saw them open their parachutes, along with all the others that went before me.
We would all be together right now if it hadn't been for that goddamned wind storm that scattered us apart and separated us, landing us all across this accursed island.
What island this is, I'm not even sure of. But so far I have seen no signs of life, not even any wildlife, although granted I've only been on this island for about three hours now, and from what I saw above its a very large mass of land.
It will take me some time to find my family and the others, probably a few days at best.
But it doesn't matter, I have to find them, I have to."

OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN
9:30 A.M, LOCAL AREA TIME
A commercial passenger plane is en route to Los Angeles, California from New Zealand, Australia.
The plane was carrying 94 passengers as well as the crew, including the 2 pilots, the captain, and the flight attendants.
The plane contains a wide variety mixture of passengers such as returning Americans,New Zealander tourists, and even a pair of B list celebrities. All of them heading to Los Angeles, California for whatever reasons.
A mysterious explosion however ushers in a dire situation as the plane is sent out of control and hurtling down toward the deep blue below.
Many of the passengers managed to equip their parachutes and escape from the out of control aircraft, many however were not so lucky, as they were unable to reach the plane's exits in time before it plowed into the body of the mighty Pacific Ocean below.
It is unknown if any of them escaped from the wreckage, or even survived the impact.
Those who did make the jump quickly find themselves in the grip of an unrelenting blitz of powerful winds that carry them far from the impact site of the plane, and cruise them downward into the ominous maw of a large and mysterious looking island.
Cut off from civilization and separated from their fellow humans, they find themselves cast into an unforgiving and harsh tropical wilderness.
If they are to survive until help comes, or even through the first night, they must keep their wits and personal and physical strength about them.
This is the unforgiving jungle, and the weak and tender footed will not survive.
Only the strong will endure the perils of this island.
And these "refugees" will quickly discover that there is far, far more to this island than meets the eye.
