Actually that's just the start of it.

There are loads of little short events that can give you gear throughout the RP, and gear rewards for doing sidequests.

If you can't use the gear you got, you can always check in with the Gear Trader as you can trade in unique gear for one of their selection.

Also that being said, when you trade in that piece of gear, it does not get lost. It simply becomes part of the selection, so if someone gets something you want, you can arrange to trade that item in so that they can trade to get it.

That's pretty cool, I like the system you have going on here, I'm used to either unstructured freeform or tabletop IRL that have perhaps too much emphasis on said system. I like the flavor this adds to the kind of roleplay I'm used to on forums. @Sho Minazuki

Why am I actually picturing an entire family tree for Tinnun. And why did I decide that Tinnun has two nephews and a niece. It's not like any of the characters are ever going to meet her family.

Tinnuns family tree would be good detail, I say. I mean, look at me, kinda copped out on family details; one estranged uncle as only living relative? I could've done better than that but lazy mostly. Even if we never meet Tinnuns family it could always be part of conversations, funny relative stories :) @UmbreonRogue

Do I drop too much obscure bird-talk for my Rito posts? I feel like I might. I realize in hindsight that keening is not a well known thing, and I almost dropped mares in my very next post as if people are just gonna know what I'm talking about. I started doing it that way because these Rito are very bird... but I have trouble recognizing when I'm going a bit overboard.

Thanks @ProPro I actually went and looked it up again myself to make sure my memory was giving me the right word. Turns out it was kinda hard to find in direct correlation to birds making this sound. Crap did I even use correlation right?!

That's right. I believe no one else joined, since every other character, save @HeroicSociopath's Rin, found the tournament barbaric and vile.

Which is hilarious because the tournament is an annual thing that people in Hyrule enjoy as entertainment and festival, with some rules in place to prevent combatants from killing each other as best as possible.

Regardless alrighty, that just leaves the investigation team for the murders to start heading off.
