She said to sign myself off for a week cause it could take 4 weeks to sort itself out
Though she understood that I felt I couldn't take a week off because of the fact there are only 2 members of full time night staff

So what are you going to do? Take a week off on docs orders?
Maybe you should tell your boss you'll work against docs orders if they give you a raise. Otherwise, they're on their own.
You take too much crap from them.
