@Carantathraiel there was nothing happening. Not moving, or hadn't gotten started yet. I get tired of checking back day after day to find I received nothing, so I dropped them all.

That reminds me of what happened to me four months ago, also part of the reason why I took a four month hiatus. Let things pass and then pick up some fresh roleplays with different partners. I'll say this, it worked for me so far.

@Krinos Solstice thanks for the advice. But 4 months is a long time. I'm thinking I'll do it without the break. Maybe a week or two. Then I'll be back at it. I want to play, that's the issue. My other partners, they were soooooo slow. Like, 1 post in every 2 or 3 weeks. OIE. I just can't do it.

luckily I have the drugs to prevent that. but I do get your drift. It's a huge life saver sometimes. I think it's just Karma's way of getting me back for being a douche all those years ago.

And guh, that's drives me nuts, too. I used to be a daily poster. Often a few times daily, depending on length. I've slowed since arriving stateside.

I did go to Toronto on tuesday and they want to admit me on the 14th, though with new nodes showing up in my chest, they're going to consult with the specialists I saw last time. Depending upon what they say, I'll either be admitted next thursday, or have my transplant delayed once again.

You could always just do it on a more casual basis, whenever you feel like writing. I'm sure there are players out there like that, just have to find them, is all.
