Hello,
Welcome to a new RPG project. This is the beginning of what will hopefully will become a great series of adventures. The style of this RP is very D&D like, with stats and dice rolling. At first, I will keep everything simple. Here are the basics:
GM vs. Roleplayers: In this RP, I will try to stop you from defeating me. You and your team will have 1 real world month to complete an adventure. I will create challenges, monsters, and villains to block you from reaching your end goal. Roleplayers can issue challenges as well. We will use this site's dice mechanic to determine specific outcomes.
One through Six: All outcomes will be determined with dice rolls. The results are as follows: ONE, you are completely successful. TWO, you are mostly successful. THREE, you are barely successful. FOUR, you are close but unsuccessful. FIVE, you are very unsuccessful. SIX or MORE, you are devastatingly unsuccessful. Dice rolls can be anywhere from "2 sided dice" and up. This may be hard to explain any further, but will come easily as we play.
Stats: In this RP, you will start your character off with four main stats, and five sub stats. Health is your most important stat and starts at 5. Then you have wisdom, stamina, and mana; you can distribute 5 points between these three stats. Your last five stats are less important starting off, but come in to play later. These are strength, speed, agility, elemental affinity, and arcane affinity. You will distribute five points between these five stats as well.
Karma: There is one more thing that can effect a dice roll, and that is your overall karma. If I tag you in a post (possibly challenging you with a monster or side quest) and you don't respond, you will get one point of "bad karma" for every real life day that you don't respond. If you tag me in a post and I don't respond, you will get one point of "good karma" for every day instead.
The Plot: This RP takes place in the mythical medieval times. There are wizards, witches, ogres, elves, and all that jazz. You will create a character within any race you can imagine, so long as it fits the era. Once I have more people interested, I will dive further into what exactly your quest will entail.
