@JBRam2002 No but you will have heard them raising the alarm (yelling about an intruder) which may or may not impact the players outside depending on the way they react. I'm on my phone or I would put up a DM post.

@VKAllen they are wearing cheap leather armor. One has a crossbow (not very effective for the close quarters they are in) and the other has a short sword. They are likely local villagers and not highly trained warriors. If you decide you'd like to fight I will draw a map and scan it in because I have had no luck with the map makers the others suggested.

Since you are currently the only player engaged in combat, for your reference the combat order is you, hierling 2 (with the crossbow) and hierling 1. You did not fall flat so you do not need to use a free action to get up (just wanted to make sure I had been clear earlier when I described you stumbling into the corridor).

@JaceBeleren you did fail the arcana check. But it is general knowledge (as far as I know) that arcane lock spells can be thwarted by a lock pick (it's just harder than normal).

NOTE FOR ALL PLAYERS:

If you did a check of some kind whether its arcana, perception, sleight of hand...and so on and it was successful I forgot to tell you to add 10 XP. I will go through after work and make sure no one got missed.

I assume a dispel spell would work. Kethan has not prepared such a spell 3rd level. However it was mentioned the warlock would dispel.

Well the performance might be great acting, they may believe you injured, they might even think you are easier to kill due to your injury.

I personally think you'd use Deception here in lieu of a Performance + Persuasion/Intimidation check.
Since the PHB (pg 179) has a few listing of what Deception can be used for, and it seems everything your character is attempting to do fits.
Since you'd feign an injury and then convince the guards you aren't a thief, as well as you are on their side.

But it's up to the DM and yourself on how to distribute the rolls :P

@VKAllen Your performance check was enough to send the guards scrambling down the stairs just in time for the door to be broken down and with @rush99999's critical success they were trampled (they took 10 damage each and will have to take a free action if engaged in combat to get back up). @rush99999 Because you had a critical success and not just a standard success you get 20 XP for that check instead of 10.

Correct. All level 5 players started at 6500. You will reach level 6 when you have 14,000 XP. The table that shows you the amount of XP required per level is on pg 15 of the PHB

I'm not sure off the top off my head what kind of attacks they can perform. I'll have to check the PHB and DMG. @JBRam2002, do you happen to know if there is a governance on attacks companion animals can perform?
