Despite its countless struggles among themselves, nature, and an infamous lurking creature known to them as 'Grimm', humanity has always risen victorious when up against even the most difficult of obstacles. Perhaps these successes were a result of luck, miracles, semblances, weaponry, skill, talent, determination, dust, or any other countless mixture of factors. Regardless of what is truly responsible for humanity's survival and evolution, however, seems to no longer be on their side as the world of Remnant slowly finds itself cast into darkness. With only hellish nightmares awaiting them, a group of lost individuals find themselves trying to survive in a world that has betrayed them.

Will they manage to do so?

After all, the heroes don't always win.

I can play throwaway characters if it helps. I'm better with embellishing on the fly than I am with playing multiple detailed characters XD

I'm ready to use my characters, but I haven't put all of their information down just yet. Meaning that I can write/respond even though my character sheets are only like forty percent done. Also, what should we name the Roleplay? Do you want to start?

Oh! It's from a song ("Monster" by Starset). It references how your character was forced into slavery/killing by her owners and therefore, they "consumed" her innocence. It's somewhat of a placeholder, so feel free to change it to whatever you like more!

Haha, not in the slightest. I imagine that it would start to occur after the Fall of Beacon. Maybe our characters could be fleeing the Vytal festival or something? I could always have one of my characters be injured for extra effect. By the way, are my characters alright? Is there anything you'd want me to fix?

Ah, no. I'm actually at work right now which is why I haven't posted. I can start if you'd prefer or you can. I think that either of us could start. . Perhaps it begins with Grimm running amok, blazing fires, and so on?

so I was thinking to avoid any conflict with the main story till they 'fail', we could crash the airship, and Alonare could be the one crashed on? It'd meet them up, maybe give us a few random throwaway characters to interact with, and push the story past that night?
