Name: Corrine Doolak

Age: 41

Race/Gender: human/female

Brief physical description or picture: A woman of average height (5’ 7”), shoulder length dark blonde hair streaked with greys. Slight of frame in all aspects, not busty, not curvy. She has brown eyes, and her face features signs of premature aging (fine lines around her eyes, laugh lines).

Clothing/Armor/Weapons: unremarkable/basic clothing as expected of a harbour dweller. She tends to wear multiple layers and suffers from chills, and feels this more acutely as her life revolves more around being drunk at The Plank instead of on the Island gathering tech. Typically carries a handful of basic tools for lockpicking and/or dismantling items. Armed with a grossly undermaintained 10mm pistol as a side arm, prefers to use a modified fishing spear featuring three serrated heads.

Brief Background:

Corrine Doolak (“DuLac” being the correct form of the name, due to her French-Canadian ancestry, but this has been long forgotten over the centuries) a born and raised islander, spent her life trawling ruins with her junk-trading parents. If you asked her profession, she would huff and call herself a “scavenger,” but truly she was a junk dealer. Corrine always had a knack for a delicate touch and could turn a single pre-war radio into at least a dozen useable, saleable parts. The family abandoned the stand when the fog began its slow creep to take over the island, after her father was mauled to death by an angler that had made its nest next to the road the Doolaks had considered safe for decades. Her brother took up fishing, and her mother committed suicide by drowning herself a year or so after her father’s death. Corrine’s ability to retrieve delicate components made for a lucrative livelihood, often finding herself contracting out to traders and villagers alike for elusive parts and for a high price.

Corrine found herself needing to slow her pace by her mid-thirties, the joints in her fingers having taken on the fog into her bones (or what would otherwise be termed as, early onset arthritis). She still managed to get by well enough, having settled near Far Harbor for the good part of fifteen years, but the fog eventually forced her to Far Harbor proper with its condensers. Occasionally, she would pick up some piecemeal work by dismantling junk for Brooks for him to sell, but as the fog grew worse, so did her arthritis, to the point where she could hardly manipulate the tiny screws and gears as she did when she was younger. Unfortunately for her, between the pain in her hands, and the elevated danger associated with journeying into the fog, she found herself in her early forties with little to do but drink away her days at The Plank.

Name: Steve Miller

Age: 28

Race/Gender: Male

Brief physical description or picture: Caucasian male, 5"10, 160 lb Brown hair and blue eyes. Moderately handsome, he has a pale complexion from spending most of his time below decks and his arms and legs have numerous small scars from burns and cuts from a life spent around machinery. Due to his profession, he does have hearing damage (tinnitus). He also has inherited his mother's immunity to radiation, common amongst the Children of Atom. Not being familiar with the tenets of the cult, he does not realize this and found his survival while the rest of the survivors died one by one due to radiation sickness unexplainable and somewhat traumatic. As Natick steamed towards Far Harbor, he has begun having dreams he finds rather disturbing, both of figures from his past and of Far Harbor itself....as if he were being summoned.

Clothing/Armor/Weapons: Grey turtleneck sweater and blue denim workpants with a navy blue woolen pea coat. The pea coat is rolled up when not being worn. Wearing a pair of battered but sound boots of high quality...that someone in the know would recognize as Enclave officer issue...that are slightly too large for the wearer. Carries an ancient but meticulously maintained .45 ACP service revolver in a leather belt holster with lanyard. Has a second revolver, a worn but serviceable .357 Police revolver in his rucksack wrapped in a oilcloth. Has 36 rounds of .45 ACP in speedloaders, 2 boxes (100 rounds) of .38 Special and 18 rounds of loose .357 ammunition. Aside from a utility knife, no other weapons.

In his rucksack are miscellaneous items, including a canteen, working Geiger counter, a nautical grade compass, a pair of binoculars with case, an inoperative Pip-Pad (intact but needs new power supply), and a leatherbound pocket Bible with (unknown to Steve) an Enclave ID card for a 2ND LT Leroy Jenkins (the picture on the card is of a African American male in his 30s) hidden in the back cover. Has 200 caps.

Brief Background: Born in Megaton in 2259, his mother, a member of the Children of Atom, died in childbirth. His father, a brahmin driver for a caravan, claimed him (after a tense standoff with Confessor Cromwell that escalated to threats of hiring Talon Company to "rescue" the infant before Sheriff Simms intervened) to and took him to Rivet City to be cared for by his grandfather. As he grew up, he assisted his grandfather, who led one of the work gangs that maintained the derelict aircraft carrier, in the endless task of keeping the pre-war systems that Rivet City's existence relied on operational. When he turned fifteen, his grandfather died (of Red Lung) and he joined his father in his caravan. After three relatively happy years, tragedy struck when their little caravan was caught up in the Enclave War. Caught in the crossfire during one of the innumerable battles between the Enclave and the Outcasts, the caravan was decimated before they could escape, one of those killed being his father. The caravan owner disbanded the caravan shortly after. On his own, he decided to leave the Capital Wasteland behind and signed onto a passing coastal steamer, putting his work experience in Rivet City to work as an engineer. Over the next twelve years, he worked on several ships that plied the trade lanes along the Atlantic Coast. The last one was the SS Regina, a coastal steamer out of Halifax. Three weeks ago the combination of a storm and one of the mutated creatures that lurk in the open ocean caused her to founder, leaving only six survivors that managed to reach a lifeboat. Over the next week, five of them died from radiation exposure, leaving Steve the last survivor of the Regina when they were finally spotted by a passing fishing boat, the Natick, who rescued him. His story, as well as multiple sightings of large mutated creatures that began once he was picked up, caused the crew to consider him a "Jonah" who brought bad luck to the ship, and the loudest among them began to call for him to be thrown overboard. The captain, who needed a good engineer, resisted at first but after a near mutiny was forced to agree to remove him from the Natick, though he did get one key concession....rather than throwing Steve overboard, he would be put ashore at the first port they could reach. That port was Far Harbor.

His only possessions being what little he and his shipmates had with them when they took to the lifeboat and the boat itself, the Natick's captain traded Steve a .357 revolver, a supply of ammunition, a broken Pip-Pad, and some caps for the lifeboat, as well as agreeing to take the Regina's log book and Captain's sextant and other effects (except for his compass, binoculars, and service revolver which Steve kept out of necessity) to his family in Halifax.

Name: Captain James Williams of the enclave armed forces.

Age: 36

Race/Gender: Male

Brief physical description or picture: ( vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/… )  Although Williams has for the most past aged well over the last 10 years in the wasteland he has gained several scars most notable a laser rifle burn covering his upper left arm and shoulder and a stab wound in his right leg.  His hair has also grown slightly longer and he now has a rough beard

Clothing/Armour/Weapons:

James wears a battle damaged set of Enclave officer armour; worn, dirty and used the suit is missing most of the left arm along with having an slash mark on right leg but the rest of the suit is mosty okay and intact.Over the armour James wears a Dark brown long coat (old Longfellow coat) and his enclave officer’s cap.

For weapons James has a Plasma defender pistol and his boot combat knife EDIT: during the RP (on beth site) James purchased an sawn-off shotgun which he hides under his overcoat.

Brief Background:

Born in 2250 James William the 3rd was one of the first enclave children born once the enclave had made their joinery to the east coast and raven rock. Coming from a long line of enclave foot soldiers James grew up a loyal hard working member of enclave society and first member of his family to become an officer and under the tutelage of the framed colonel sutler himself. Things changed however shortly after his 21st birthday when Colonel Sutler orders the troopers to ruthlessly beat to death an old man who asked for water. The man may have been a mutant but he did not deserve that sort of death

Growing disillusioned but not stupid or foolish enough to leave the Enclave James used his connections to get stationed at raven rock, hoping to avoid more of Sutler's slaughter . Fate however would have other plans when the kid from Vault 101 was set free of his cell... just when James was on duty.

Perhaps James should have just forced the kid back into their cell but No instead he decided to check out the kid story about meeting the president and paid the price by being reassigned to the frontlines... an acted that saved Williams life when Raven rock was destroyed.

Although perhaps a quick death would have been preferable to the next several years in which Williams fought in remnants of the enclave against the brotherhood and other wasteland scumbags who though the enclave would be easy pickings after the lost of two of there bases. This would last until roughly 2283 when James was badly injured in a fight with the brotherhood, Assumed dead by the brotherhood James decided to use this as a chance to begin again and headed up north to Boston eventually settling in good neighbour where he found work as repairman for a “skinny Malone” who had recently claimed a Vault and needed someone who could fix it.

Using his enclave education to fix up a Vault for some gangster wasn’t exactly James plan in life but it was better than rotting in some brotherhood jail especially since that Maxson [censored] took over.

Things where more or less going okay for James until last 2287 when not only did someone kill everyone in Vault 114 but the [censored] brotherhood showed up. Having told several people about his enclave past (although not necessary what he’d done) James decided to get the [censored] out of the town. Putting on his old armour to ensure he wouldn’t be shot as Spy James got on the first boat out of town... A fisherman going up north to some island called Far harbour. Arriving at the island James headed for the local pub to get a drink and decide to what to do.

Name: James Gregor Castner

Age: 43

Race/Gender: White Male

Brief physical description or picture:

He would still look handsome, were it not for the toll combat stress and lost comrades took on him over the years. His deep blonde hair is turning gray at the edges and thinning. Once he kept it in whatever military style he preferred at the time, but now he’s let it grow out halfway down his neck. He also keeps a full greying blonde beard, but it doesn't go too long. Scars and blast burns mar his body, but none of them are too deep thanks to his power armor. Despite all that, he's aged well enough, has retained his muscle, and his combat readiness. James

Clothing/Armor/Weapons:

A trusty modded AER9 laser rifle called Shark(lasers and sharks just seemed to go together), a hunting .44 revolver called Bear(killed too many Yao Gui with it to call it anything else), and a combat knife called Talon(relieved from a Talon Comapny Merc who didn't know the fine piece of work he had). All three have seen him through his whole service in the Brotherhood. In the crashed vertibird he has more: a modded anti-tank rifle he simply calls Cracker(Perfect for cracking giant crab shells or Enclave power armor). A shocking super sledge called Odinson(found an old comic that had a similar hammer in it). His power armor is his same old suit of T-45 decked out and modded over the years. The right arm and right leg had to be replaced with T-51 years ago, since his dominant right side had taken the most hits. He believes T-51 is superior to T-60 personally. As you can tell, James is sentimental about his weapons as he’s maintained and modded them for years now. They provide some attachment in a Brotherhood now foreign to him.

staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/115…

The Brotherhood of Steel outfit on the far left. It doesn’t have any patch for the sake of secrecy.

Brief Background: James is one of the old guard in the Eastern Brotherhood: a local recruit who upheld Lyon’s cause to bring peace and prosperity to the people of the Capital Wasteland. He was orphaned at 7 in Canterbury Commons. Raids were on caravans were common in those days, and his parents were another pair of unlucky junk traders. The raiders had the audacity to jump the caravan close to the settlement, and the young James was able to run there to safety. The townspeople took him in, and he managed to have something of a life doing odd jobs. Everything changed for him when the Brotherhood came into town one day. Their noble purpose, their advanced tech, their sense of camaraderie. He had to join, it was his purpose.

James got through training and became a knight, but he wanted more. Lyon’s Pride: that was his goal. He could be the best and defend the people of the Capital Wasteland from the most dangerous creatures. It took him years of hellish assignments, but he and his friend Colleen managed to become some of the few local recruits to be accepted into Lyon’s Pride. Only a few years later the Enclave returned, and the true battle for the Capital Wasteland started.

It was around this time James and Colleen became romantically involved. They both had the same compassion for protecting people and similar backgrounds. Years of fighting together made them very close. Their partnership gave them the strength to endure many losses, and fight harder than ever against the Enclave at Sarah Lyon’s side. Soon, the war was over. A couple months later, the pair married.

The death of Elder Lyons was the clouds of an approaching storm. The man’s ideals had formed their purpose, but most rest easily knowing Sarah Lyons would carry on the old man’s legacy. Then the storm truly begun at the death of Sarah Lyons not long after. The circumstances were unthinkable. How could the Brotherhood’s greatest warrior fall on a routine mission? There had to be a culprit. The Brotherhood needed scapegoats. Many of Lyon’s Pride, and everyone on that mission, were banished or executed. Colleen was on that mission. She was to be executed until James pleaded with the court to change their ruling, and instead she was banished. He almost left with her until it was reported that she was killed and mangled by deathclaws not long after her exile.

With nowhere else to go, James threw himself into Brotherhood service to cope. He hoped to honor her memory by helping people as much as he could. Unfortunately for him, the Brotherhood gradually abandoned their ideals. His doubt grew as he watched more and more of the men like him sent on suicide missions or shuffled into dead end jobs far away from any position of influence or meaning. He did his best to balance his loyalty to the Brotherhood, his loyalty to his real brothers, his loyalty to his ideals, and his hate for what Maxson became. But now the end is near. He feels it in this mission. A scouting trip to a dying island will be how Maxson wins over him in the end. He’ll do his job to be sure, but he sure as hell won’t end up dead in a ditch if he has anything to say about it.

James typically tries to emanate good will and humor, but the black hole of the years before and the weight of every thing he did during his service that he thought was justifiable at the time sits just behind the positive attitude.

Name: Calvin Lovegrove

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Race:Caucasian

Skills: Outdoorsmanship, Melee Weapons, Speech

Brief physical description or picture: Cal is enormously tall at 6’4” but has a relatively lanky frame, holding a slim figure and minimal amount of body fat. His face is rather handsome, although his rather silly and large pair of glasses along with gigantic bushy eyebrows manage to offset his appearance. His dark brown hair is almost always slicked up by some sort of material (on a good day, it is hair gel).

Clothing/Armor/Weapons: Calvin is usually seen in his dirty, soaked flannel shirt augmented with denim overalls and large boots. He usually sports a goofy, large fisherman’s hat to complete his outfit. As for weapons, he has an arsenal of rusted tridents and fishing spears, along with a rarely-used revolver, intended for desperate situations.

Brief Background: C. Lovegrove sauntered into town just two years ago, but he fit the atmosphere so well that no one even remembers that he was ever not in Far Harbor. He is a silver-tongued man of the sea – he has a relatively kooky array of mannerisms and tends to find humor even in morbid situations. He is generally gone for days, even weeks at a time, on his small fishing boat he calls “The Lorelei” and generally returns empty handed, although occasionally he stumbles upon a big haul.

Cal’s past before Far Harbor is hazy and he refuses to talk about it. However, in the two years he has been there, he has developed plenty of history for himself. He fears for the town’s future to the extent that he never feels safe in its midst – his solitude comes from his journeys at sea. Occasionally, he is forced to venture out into the island to look for fuel, but the fog’s unstoppable conquest has forced him to use other means. When he isn’t out on the water, he can be found in The Last Plank, drinking himself silly and occasionally striking up conversations with the other tenants.

Calvin highly values the longevity of Far Harbor itself as his port in the storm. That said, he is deeply curious about the dark secrets of the island, and if he weren’t so squeamish about running off into the fog, he would explore it for himself. Instead, he is running low on fuel and will be forced to stay in the town’s midst (or at least fish in a very close vicinity) until the crisis is averted.
