"Yes it's marvoulous. And yes I believe your in shock. I just hope my training is enough." Luz shook her head. Why had she thought all the dangerous people had been killed?
Caoro smiled and her mind traveled to the roof. "I made a pretty cool thing on the roof a...I don't know what I called it!" She said and she put her hand on her chest, it felt sticky. "Hah I guess in these situations blood isn't as scary as you'd think." She looked around and grabbed Liz's hand, she gave it a pathetic squeeze. "Hey don't worry everything is going to be fine, its just a flesh wound you know?" She laughed a bit.
Liz wasn't convinced it was just a flesh wound. Chest wounds tended to be serious. Liz pulled Caoro's shirt up to look at the wound. Atleast it didn't look too deep. Liz searched through her medical supplies. She was greatful that she had plenty of stuff on hand. Liz cleaned the wound and stitched it up. She gave Caoro a shot of antibiotic. Liz hoped it was enough.
Candi looked to Caoro then closed her eyes, "OK...I'm not going to question it as long as you're ok." She smiled, confused, but relieved, "So, how is the progress on the playground?"
Caoro raised a hand up, as if she had an epiphany. "Yes of course I mean I got stabbed in the stomach for peats sake not the head! My memory must be a preexisting case."
John walked into the warehouse and saw Liz and Candi fussing around Caoro. Intrigued, he rushed over and asked, "What have I missed out on that everyone seems so worried about?"
John's eyebrows shoot up his forehead. "What?!" he exclaims, his hand shooting involuntarily to the gun holstered in the back of his shorts. John turns his head to look over his shoulder but sees no one suspiscious.
Gustavus grumpily walks down stairs to see what the commotion is as it had disturbed his study. He approached Liz wearily and through clenched teeth he said "What is going on here? Can nobody keep some simple quite?"
