The idea is for a sci-fi crossover set in the Star Trek universe, in which we play the main crew of various franchises that came through. Your enemies may also come through, though, so beware.
I will be playing a Star Gate SG-1 crew (with a Tok'ra along as an adviser), though if someone else wants to play Star Gate characters, that's fine too.
Here's my basic backstory.
---
Star Gate Universe:
In an attempt to flee Morgan Lafeye, Adria goes through the Supergate. While inside the wormhole she searches for an escape and finds a similar wormhole in another universe. At the place where the wormholes are closest she jumps between the two universes.
LaFeye attempts to follow her, but is prevented from doing so by the other ascended beings, as Adria is no longer a threat when she is in another universe. Believing that they must prevent her from gathering her power in another universe, LaFeye goes to Earth and informs them of Adria's escape. Because Earth possesses the technology to travel to other universes, she asks them to incorporate the technology into the Odyssey while they repair it.
Believing Adria to still be a threat, they do and, when the Odyssey is finished being repaired two months later, LaFeye returns one more time to add the coordinates of the new universe to the Inter-universal drive. SG-1 sets out once again, this time to the location given to them by LaFeye, in order to bring Adria back.
Star Trek Universe:
Adria arrives in the other wormhole, only to find that it is inhabited. The natives sense her desire to conquer the galaxy and banishes her, sending her down to Bajor as they once did with the Pah wraiths. A local by the name of Kel Tomil sees her retake humanoid form, something she did to hide from LaFeye, and believes her to be one of the prophets. She plays along, pretending to be a guide sent by them to steer them onto the correct path, the path of Origin, though with Bajoran beliefs woven in. After Kel Tomil leads others to "The True Path", she re-ascends long enough to make him her Doci and several of her followers Priors.
Two months later, over twenty percent of the population of Bajor follows Origin, having seen the Miracles of the Priors, healing the sick, even those that Star Fleet medicine couldn't help, and believing their promises of Ascension.
The Odyssey appears near DS9, and is hailed.

The wormhole may allow people from other universes to come through, or they may find other ways through. The Star Trek characters will be NPCs that any one can control unless someone wants to claim them and play as Star Trek characters.
