Blessings of Chaos

The Empire of Heresh, based in desert lands to the south are ruled by mages, powerful ones, who have forged an empire with their magic....and the blood, sweat, tears and toil of slaves. Namely elven slaves. Various political disputes, and high tensions between the borders, as well as many objections to the fact that Heresh placed no limits on magic, regardless of type, summoner's of demons, necromancer's, blood mages and other such things went on unhindered, for Heresh was a land of magical progress, if not morality.

Thus, they went to war, and the elven kingdom of Aryvaandar fell, seeing the possibilities, Heresh took forth the elves into captivity, broke their spirits, and decades later, what remained of a once proud culture was gone, and grand cities erected through the misery, toil and blood of slaves. Heresh has become a powerful empire, and few dare antagonize it.

However in this process, it has made enemies, many of which who long to see it fall, and one such enemy has discovered someone who mutually hates Heresh and it's Archmages as much as he does, for he has found that the elves have managed to preserve something...their royal bloodline, he hurries to locate the last remaining member of this line, for if she were to be found, they would quickly and swiftly end her life, he had to hurry...and rescue the princess of the elves...for only she could rally her people in a bloody revolution that could possibly topple the empire of Heresh...

Things to know

1. I don't want anything to do with someone, who's going to be touchy, okay? I dislike losing friends because said person bruises easily(and I mean really easy), if you're the kind of person who's gonna flip your lid over nothing, then don't even bother, I've had it with people who get offended easily, it hurts too much to lose friends cause of that.

2. High fantasy, and mature, though I'm open to other ratings

3. I really want someone who can do a high level of writing, I get tired of people who can't come up with their own plot, or write a decent amount in response(to often large posts from myself), unless character's are in the middle of dialogue it is NOT acceptable to write only one paragraph, that's insane, I'm looking for meat, content, I'm tired of sampling mere appetizers

4. Via PM, and if you're interested please PM me, don't message me here, I'll probably not see it

5. I like someone I can just casually chat with, if you're someone who isn't interested in talking, then go away, I like to make friends with my roleplay partners

6. I'm a gamer, and I also have my job, college and a baby to take care of, so if I'm not responding immediately, I'm sorry, sometimes I also need time to think of a post

The Black Knight

There, in the Colosseum he stood, waiting, clad all in black armor, he had not shifted from the position he held for at least half an hour, and the hot sun did not seem to affect him, he had been captured by the Romans, a decadent people, who had discovered the possibilities when he had carved through an entire squad of Roman legionnaire's, for they had found to their amazement, that his armor and blade were of incredible craftsmanship, for they could not pierce it's hide. Whereas the greatsword he wielded in one hand cleaved through man and steel with ease.

He stood there in the center, waiting for the other warriors to come and try and end his life, ten before, twenty this time, his sword lay with it's point in the ground, shield strapped to his arm and ready to use, eyes peering out vigilantly from the slits of his horned helm, these Roman's did not understand, that the appearance of himself meant something was happening to their world.

For he was not from their world.

He'd seen the signs, from rumors and hearsay, of strange occurrences, and knew it was beginning, a strange magic was warping time and space, the knight knew what it was, the barrier's between this world, and the Warp were weakening, when they broke...who knew what could happen, the Warp being a plane of chaotic, swirling energies that laid between all other worlds.

For now, it didn't matter, he smiled as the gate's began to lift up at last, as the roar of the crowd surged anew with excitement, they wanted to see him slaughter his foes, and he would do so with pleasure, he did not mind they wanted him to fight in this arena, war was a pleasure to be had, for he was blessed by gods of war, that is why his armor and weapon were of such exceedingly fine craftsmanship, for they had been made by immortal hands.

He lifted the sword in a salute, and the crowd let loose a roar of approval as he smiled and walked forward to meet his enemies...

Death and the Dame

The kingdom of Valorim is at war, the Eastern Empire is aggresively attacking it, hoping to annex the territory of their smaller, peaceful neighbor, while Valorim is no stranger to the ways of battle, their soldiers extremely skilled, they have never been very large, so despite the fact that they have managed to grind the Empire's war machine to a halt, they know it is only a matter of time before force of number's crushes them.

So, at the advice of his councilor's, the King has sent a contingent of troops to rescue a notorious necromancer from the prison's of the empire to aid their military efforts.

OOC: You can have your character be a kick ass warrior princess if you want and she can lead the soldiers[/i]

If they can get the man to help them, they can turn the tide of the war...

Cursed

This roleplay takes place in 16th century Japan during the Sengoku period

With a sigh he closed his eyes, resting, wishing it would all end, he'd lost count again how many times this had gone on, it had been a long journey. Searching across the lands of Terra for a cure, a cure for the curse...what was it he had been told? Forever to be denied the restful earth, yes that was it. So now he had wandered, with only a few lines to guide him on his path, he'd been traveling for so long, ironically the curse had prevented his task from failing.

Ignite the fires far, sisters of solace singing...

Now finally, it seemed he'd possibly found something, something that may help, he'd come to a country far to the east, on a small landmass in comparison to the rest of Asia and Africa, both of which were lands he'd crossed, from his home of Europe, and he'd heard that this land is a mystical place, although torn by terrible war, it's people were the most civilized he'd seen for quite some time.

He'd heard that there were rare individuals, with great power, who were able to tap into the energies that flowed through this land, that pooled in focal points...he'd heard them called shrine maiden's, beautiful women who had never known the touch of a man and held sway over the magic. Yes, he'd said magic, in the past he'd never have believed in it...till the curse had struck, driving England mad as people began to fall victim to it.

From there, the things he'd seen meant he wasn't going to disbelieve in anything, was this punishment from God for humanities sins? To be damned to forever be denied death? Yes, what a strange thing to wish for, he was immortal and could not die but...he wished desperately for the comforting confines of the grave, for every time he died, he lost a little bit of himself, feeling the pain of his previous wounds pressing down on him, the body healed but the mind did not, the human mind was not supposed to remember dying, sometimes in brutal fashions.

And so, he entered the strange land, through the orchard of cherry blossom trees, before he was surrounded, he'd been at the wrong time at the wrong place, for this place had been a chosen battlefield, from what little he'd communicated, the wanderer had come to Kyoto, unaware that the city was a warzone, he'd wondered for the tree's were flourishing...

It wasn't hard to guess why now, this orchard drank of blood and fertilized by bones of the dead and dying.

When next he awoke, he was in in a pile of corpses, ready to be buried, hearing the sounds of the injured, and the dying around him, pulling himself out of the mound(resulting in oaths and curses from nearby soldiers burying the dead), he found he was near where the injured were brought to be cared for...perhaps he could find one of these Maiden's here...

Repeated attempts by a mysterious group to kidnap the Queen, a grieving widow lead to the hiring of a lethal, and murderous assassin capable of stopping the enemy from achieving their goals(medieval fantasy/steampunk)

2. Ancient Vampire x Newly Turned Vampire

A vampire finds a young woman dying, from what he can not say, but he decides to save her life, giving his blood to hers to save her own life, will she adapt to life as a child of the night?
