Cassandra ran to the last tunnel near her, but as she did she was blown back by a force she couldn't see. She twisted landing, and throwing her own power back "here!"

Ruslan couldn't clear his mind in the middle of the confusion, so the only thing he could do is to follow those who had started running and try not falling behind. In this case, it means he follows Cassandra. "What's going on?"

"An attack, I believe" she lashed out, pushing back the force that had pushed her off her feet, Cody coming up to them

Ruslan tries to anchor himself before looking toward the tunnel. He is pushed aback immediately upon doing so, but he barely returns outside the line of sight of whoever inside it before he falls. "Gotta try another exit, I suppose."

"Most are caved in. My guess is the attackers are in here" Cassie said, as a breathless Sintara rushed up to them

Roxy growled under her breath. She thought it had been too quiet. She should have been on her guard. There was no time to get to her rifle, but she had her throwing knives and that was going to have to do for now. She activated her camouflage abilities as she ran down the hall to the commotion.

Katherin was surprised by the sudden commotion. What on earth? How had she not seen this attack coming. Ok so she hadn't been paying as much attention to her visions in the last month. She had been trying to connect to her twin sister. While she still wasn't a fighter Katherin wasn't going to stay in the background while her friends and family were in danger.

When Liz heard the commotion all she could think was here we go again. She followed Katherin reluctantly. Liz was a healer, not a fighter. But she knew Katherin would head for the battle and where Katherin was Liz was going to follow. At least she could lend her powers and help Katherin navigate through the chaos.

Ruslan pulls Cassandra away from the tunnel they failed to pass. "Let's go through another exit. There's more exits to this tunnel than one might think."

"One sec" Sintara threw up a hand, sending her power through the tunnel, hopefully freezing who ever was there "try now"

[nautilusmp]

"Good thing you come just in time," Ruslan told Sintara, retrying the route. "Let's just hope you don't accidentally freeze the exit," he said again, finding no resistance on his route and starting to run, hoping that the others will pick up his pace.

Roxy saw Cassie and Ruslan ahead of her. It looked like Sintara had frozen the invaders. Which would buy them sometime. "Anyone know what's happening."

Liz carefully guided Katherin through the chaos. "Are you sure you want to get in the middle of that?"

"Liz you don't have to come with me if fighting makes you uncomfortable. I'm not going to stand back while other fight for their lives. I might not be able to fight, but I can be a valuable asset. This is what I am meant to do."

"Katherin I just found I am not leaving you." Liz saw Sintara up ahead. Maybe someone could tell them what was happening.

"Intruders simple Roxy" Sintara said as Cassie followed up the tunnel. She grabbed Ruslans arm, pulling him back, just As a man fell down the tunnel, a grinning Cody standing Above him. "Shadows are the best"

Ruslan couldn't arrive before Cody to the exit, especially as there was a woman by his left hand, who might fall if he ran too quickly. Hearing Cody's words, however, Ruslan slows down. He isn't sure that Cody has full control of himself when the word 'shadow' is included in Cody's speech.

"Intruders. Why didn't I think of that?" Roxy said sarcastically. So much for useful intel. Oh well it wouldn't be the first time she went into a situation without information. Roxy pulled out her throwing knives. "Sound the alarm. Gather everyone you can here and I'll cut us a path out of here."

"There's two more" Cody said brightly, turning to look up the tunnel

Roxy carefully took aim and threw one of her knives. "One less."

With a little concentration, Ruslan pushes the alarm about six metres from him, and after Roxy's claim that she's downed one target, Ruslan removes the knife and lets it float toward the other target. "Once we're up there, make sure the targets are dead and not just close to dead," he said. The team can't just get out right now; Sam, Pride, and Dave aren't with them yet.

"I don't need to check, I haven't missed a target in ages. Thanks for retrieving the knife. They're a pain to replace. Let's wait for as many of the others as we can. They aren't hitting us hard yet." Roxy said. She saw the twins join them. She had mixed feeling about the two of them. They were helpful in their own ways. Liz could help almost any injury which might come in handy during the escape. And Katherin had the unnerving ability to see the future. She would be able to tell them the best route to take. But neither of them were fighters. And Katherin's visions pretty much left her blind which made her more of a hazard then help.

"Don't get complacent, just in case," Ruslan said to Roxy. "Now where are the rest... Sam, Dave, and anyone else, if any?"

Cody was well aware that Some of the others still thought him a bit unstable. Which might be true, but he wasn't dangerous. He moved though the shadows back down the tunnel, coming out near them "I can go find Sam and the others" he said

Cassie listened for any sign of more enemies, ready for an attack

"I have to make sure the others get out" Sintara said "two are out getting supplies, the others are scattered about. I'm sorry, I can't leave them without a leader. I need toake sure they get out safety"

"Sintara I know you consider yourself the city leader, but your not responsible for them. Most of them are adults. They knew what to do when the alarm goes off. We've had many drills. For all they know this is another drill. We aren't leaving the city yet. Don't go looking for trouble." Roxy pleaded. She was afraid that Sintara would insist on personally making sure every person was out of the city.
