I was thinking of making a young Dai Li agent. Someone who just finished basic training and has been assigned to his first job. Since you've put some restrictons on that, will this concept work for you?

How far can I go with the Dai Li's earthbending abilities? Can I incoorporate trademark moves such as their rock gloves, Wall/ceiling hanging and the surveyor chains (or whatever they are called) ?

My curiousity is peaked :) Perhaps there's room for a humble brewery master who certainly doesn't command a criminal army, and who most certainly doesn't secretly serve the Dai Li in exchange for leniency in his business concerns. Certainly none of that. Those are just slanderous lies.

I'm looking to make a Kyoshi warrior, perhaps you could give me a little information about how you want their stance to be with the war? I know that they remain neutral to the war, keeping to their island until Avatar Aang went and convinced them otherwise. Thus, I was going to make my character leave the island from generating her own views on the war, joining the Dai Li and utilizing her Kyoshi fighting style.

That being said, I'm not sure if I'll have her in the general Kyoshi attire, maybe just the weapons

EDIT: Also, just a question to help clarify; are the Dai Li this elite, political force that is in search of ANYONE that breaks the law, leaving them at a neutral stance?

EDIT EDIT: Being that my character is a non-bender, is it okay for her to join the Dai Li? Perhaps she's apart of a legion that she trains with so that the others are familiar with her fighting style (*cough cough* @Milkman)

Kyoshi warriors are allowed! And to be honest, given the traditional dress, if you wanted to just use Suki art, that would be okay. One I had on my Pinterest, if it's needed. Some quick ideas, mixing and matching is okay if you want (or you can ignore them):

- Kyoshi Island as a whole is canon levels of 'neutral' - especially since the war is relatively young. It's no Hundred Year War yet - but your character is not and wishes to head to the conflict and assist the Earth Kingdom military.

- Kyoshi Island wants to know what is going on, so send her as a scout and/or diplomat to Ba Sing Se.

- Potentially they could want to advertise their unique style and way of life, so looking for recruits in the city or training newbies (probably in the Upper or Middle Rings, although it could be a personal quest, in which case the Lower Ring could also work).

- Alternatively, since I think the chances of having two Kyoshi Warriors is low, you could also go non-canon and have them be in the war due to an attack on their island, which may or may not have been repelled. If you do choose to add to the lore of this alternate timeline, let me know and I'll add whatever you want to the... Earth Kingdom section? Water Tribe section? Somewhere?

Hmmm. Those are all really great suggestions!

I'm leaning towards two though. Maybe there was a small invasion on the Kyoshi island (maybe for their land since it'd be a great location for future invasions) which breaks them away from the neutral stance they were attempting to maintain, thus sending my character to Ba Sing Se as a scout/diplomat. Perhaps for new recruits to better their defenses, or to speak to the King to establish a stronger alliance to the Earth Kingdom to ensure protection, or to request an extension on their defenses to properly protect Kyoshi Island. I might do all of the above, what are your thoughts?

Also, given that my character would be leaving the Island as a face for the Kyoshi warriors, should I give her some years behind her? As in, should I not make her an early-twenties, or late-teens kinda gal?

I'm looking for art right now and I've found some, if they fail though, I might go with Suki art since you're allowing it :)

@McHaggisWhat kind of people are allowed in the University? Only Earthbenders/Earth Kingdom citizens? Also, you are an Earth Kingdom Citizen even if you are mixed blood, yes? Kinda feel like making a firebender just minding her own business or a very gung-ho airbender that's ready to slap a bitch.
