General Information


Physical Appearance:
Araris has silver-ish white hair and deep silver eyes. This trait along keeping impossible to not stand out in a group of others which in it self is a blessing and curse. As for clothing he dresses for comfort and rarely for class. Going with items such a hoodie jeans or ball shorts and plain T-shirts.

Personality:

For starters, he is mischievous. There is no other way to be. That is the base line for damn near everything he does. After that statement, all other aspects follow. He is not out right mean or evil to another. Leol dislikes most equally. Easy to say that Arais could give fuck less about the person to his left or right. Unlike most, its not about being an ass, he simply lack empathy.He his likes cracking jokes. He highly enjoys the being social with another being.

Fighting Style:

Like many he was taught "This is the proper way", each action is done and to be formed as he was told. Of course, after years of practice of learning this art which he never was given a name. These actions of how all of his race learned. Only to find out that once he was able to flee from the nest he traveled the world to discover several other teachings he could learn. Arais dipped his foot into figuring out his own style. Of course many say this, so what is the difference? He is willing to admit that he learned to fight as all of his name sake. This all leading him to make his own style. To fight as he pleased. Learning what worked best ,so for him his style has no precise base. He preforms a move set based on the his own needs that may or may not slightly differ from how he learned each maneuver. Araris took to learning hand to hand, with swords and staff based weaponry. The main noticeable result from all his practice was that he spent the most seeking out other styles that focused on completely different footwork ranging from a triangular ,linear, circular and unconventional. The point being to be able to react to his opponent as he wished with deadly precision.

His-Story

Gaia, Mother Earth. The belief of many speak of spiritual energy. The hoax of yin and yang in other word balance for peace. Being born into service of giving or nurturing life. This wide spread ideal of peace and neutrality. To others they believe in being one with the world through karma. Although, many dislike hearing that the work to keep this peace is war. Mother Earth has been the planet of war long before the term "Human" was breathed by any being, deity or primal entity. "Neutrality is a fickle", the phrase meaning little to most of existence.

Being born a Malanachi means to keep the balance of this discarded neutrality. Born under these guidelines, all are given the duty and power to keep peace. For the lack of better words, kill or be killed to protect "Mother Nature". The Primal God known by several names in history Terra, Gaia, Mother Goddess so on and so forth. Mother Earth started out as the god of neutrality. She wanted to keep from war and killing. During the time before the multi-verse stretch so far. Planets dying, gods and races everywhere becoming extinct. Mother Nature give her life in a manner of speaking for this cause. To create the one place for such to not happen.

"Earth", although other deities and gods take credit for the creation of a the planet. Mother Nature transformed her being in the balled up matter. Forming what is called "Earth", making the ground of Sanctuary. The ideal of serenity from the cause. During this time of peace all would treat the sacrifice of truce to be a place of a haven. This forming into law. The term "Neutrality" was thought of when referring to planet earth. The home of peace for all races.

The law was broken when the world burned. Use any term that comes to mind. Some believe hellfire of gods and others natural order. Mother Earth burned because of war on her planet. NEarly killing its entire inhabitants and herself with it. That fact she survived, gave her knowledge that such would never happen again. she vowed to stay at rest, physical. Instead, she would give life to a new breed, Chthonians. With this new race, they would protect earth in her stead. Given the power to be one with earth, quite literally. The birth of Chthonians took on like wild fire. No longer would Earth be used as the planet of war. Mother would fight back through her own means. Making a race of god killers. The new birthed race was thought in the next one hundred years as "Cerbrus", The hell hounds of Earth. Each individual was given the power to stop all in their wake. With the limitations of three laws. Each were seen as just, fair and simple.

Chthonians were never to kill in less to stop or end war.

Chthonians were never to take the life of a human, for any reason.

Chthonians are never to kill on another planet. They were to protect earth.


Breaking these laws are to to die. Mother earth would return her child to the soil and birth a tree in their name. The symbol, of her child were known in history as "Mother Oaks", typically the tree many see in the words as being massive. The life force of their forest.

Araris Fade Malanachi, was no different. As a child he was taught the history of his race. He was taught to feel the connection of Neutrality. In fact he was one pegged to be stronger than many of his kind. Even growing up the youth showed promise beyond all other. He done as all did, just better. Araris from youth tell even now has only thought of his duty. As for what comes next that may become notable. Well that still unclear.

Neutrality


The connection to earth. Neutrality gives any of the Chthonian race a connection to their manifestations. The meta physical energy that lives in his being. Through his race, this energy is their life force. By the grace of the essence he can bend what his bend his manifestations in many forms in a way that is deemed to be the use of magic. This is partially true, he can go around the normal limitations making him as a earth user and mage as this makes him very difficult to manage for others. As most see him throw a rock or two and think, " Hey I got this easy..."

To understand this difference. This magic, chi, life force or whichever term you wish to use makes no matter. Neutrality, is the gateway to his manifestations both physical, or otherwise different forms of manifestations. So before you know of how or what he can do as a fighter. He learned all his skill of the supernatural through his life force of Neutrality. Arais can channel this energy for spells or for his two physical elemental abilities ( This is farther explained in the Manifestation and Spellcraft tabs )

Neutrality the connection to Mother Earth. The same raw energy used when making Earth and giving her life for the cause of peace and neutrality. In short works just as nearly every other "energy" in the multiverse. There are only a few differences Arais's own energy and that of others. Since he is born with the energy as his soul or spirit. Arais didn't haven't to learn a connection to use magic, he was given such. This meaning its tied to his emotions, mental thoughts just as well as his manifestations. This easily put its what bridges the connection that he uses for modifying his abilities such as earth and magma manipulation. ( The effects or possible modifications to earth and magma can be found in each description )

Geomancy


Everyone had to start somewhere and for Arais that was earth manipulation he had a natural calling to the element. Starting out like unlike most he could preform the basic arts with a skillful touch with in his first year. During his third year he challenged and beaten all that of human practitioners save for three. The art of push and pulling rock begun to be a bore. Creating a sinkhole, mud slide nor an avalanche gave him inspiration to continue his training. He went on to learning different way to practice. Leaving behind normal means he found ways to fool around with what was coined earth swimming. Learning to drive into the earth and move freely. This even begun to feel mundane. The youth at the age of sixteen had thought himself a master in tell he met a stranger. Silent the man was named. Through him, he found out a different means to his ability. Learning to see through the earth differently. Learning to shift earth in a very different way. Arais failed to the first and second time. He had been given the task of shift a tectonic plate. This taking more mental focus than any "being" should have. It wasn't in tell then that he really felt as if he was still just a student of mother earth.

Finding out that seeing through earth brought a connection to his ability unlike any other. Being able to feel the vibrations through the earths crust play to in his mind like a motion picture film. (Think of toph form avatar) The young Malanachi was given a secret look into the world that very few share. From that point he took on a whole new means to to growing upon his manipulation of earth. Not just willing to sit by moving sand or rocks.

Through neutrality, he was able to craft and preform ritualistic motions and craft runes to target growth in strength. He can platform of various symbols. This allowing him to farther his mastery and abilities to do what to longer in short time spans. Or runes that can effect how his manifestations such as metal to have odd effects on the materials. (Farther explained in spellcraft area)

Magma Manipulation

If you really don't understand all that is soon to be written, then my favorite lava user from one piece should do nicely. Then, I'm sure you will have a picture perfect idea "In less your computer sucks". Leol took a natural interest in this capability after discovering he had a nac for such gifts, after metal manipulation. Arais quickly learns the basics of what he was capable of doing. The massive heat radiated from him made standing around quite the feat. At times his hands would melt objects he was holding onto. This ability heightened over time with experience. From general creation to manipulation and manifestation of lava.Arais is able to manifest himself as walk lava of course this take time so normally this is rarely used. A side from that,Arais prefers to generate and sling molten balls of magma. Magma is easier to make with a common source of earth and to generate it from himself. By either large rocky areas or underneath the ground. As his limitation he only stopped by creativity.

For his favorite rite of passage with his molten beaut. Because of his neutrality, this is the depth he can expand his mastery or rather become his reality of becoming an elemental. Magma manifestation of himself happens in three stages. Each one just as effective as the next. (Each stage requires preparation) His physical make can be transformed into something much different than and more than common element bender or manipulator.

Stage one: The easiest manifestation of his ability. The youth will turn his hands or feet (Either or not both) into magma. His limbs hot enough to melt through many common objects. As side from that his connection with lava is increased. He is able to increase the efficiency of creating lava cutting the time required to make enough lava to fill up a twenty gallon drum by fifteen percent.

Stage Two: Things become more interesting at this point. Arais is able to maintain both his feet and hands as a manifestation of magma. Although this is not actually that much of an improvement of cosmetics. Arais does gain quite a helping hand in his ability to generate magma. Now he is able to generate his ability twenty five percent faster.

Stage Three:This is by far his most dangerous stage. Sadly, he rarely gets to use this stage much, he does enjoy it. Now he is a walking entity of magma. Generating lava is simply just that easy because he is made of it.

Metallic Manipulation


Your standard user of metal manipulation shapes and manipulates metal as armor, weapons and into other uses of usefulness. Moving and lifting metals as he or she see's fit from their creations.With that said his mental connection he can just as easily detect the substance of metal or metal ore just like he his sensory ability of the earth. Also, metal can be broken down or built back up into simple chunks of metal referred to as ore. This being a nifty trick once Leol was able to link another trait to the process. Through learning to do such feats he figured out how to strengthen a metal or decrease in various ways. From durability to boiling point, through study of the subject such became clear to him. Learning the traits of metals was just as important as learning to bend them, for example gold being one of the only metallic substance that is not magnetic whatsoever. Simple bits of information that has helped throughout his encounters. Sadly however, this is not one of his most used or desired abilities.

The only good part of this manipulation for Arais is that he took quite an interest in gold. Yes, the greedy substance that so many die and kill for. The shiny bars for of hefty weight that one person would most likely burn another person's house down to own. Arais learned to manipulate the sub-base metal like playing with play dough as a child. More so, the scientific aspects called to him. Like basic sand manipulation Arais learned all there was to know as he created a deadly skill. Gold as cool as it was had different means for uses based on the the karat of purity. (Arais ended up choosing twenty four karat. Because it's SHINY.... and has bad ass gangsta flare XD) Gold is malleable and the closer it is to purity its heavier, and lacks other unwanted charismatics like being able to rust or decay. The base understanding for this element in a physical standard is that gold has highly remarkable density, weighting nineteen point three grams per cubic centimeter and roughly thirty pounds per gold bar or gold brick. For Arais, this great metal opened up a whole new way to compete with earth manipulation. ( Continue to weapons for an extra piece of information to his manipulation of gold)

Spell craft


Overwatch: Arais makes can "eye", that he can more bring forth the eye where ever he feel such is a good idea. Overwatch, is a eye that can see through any fog, darkness or any other sight limitations. Overwatch has several forms of perception. Arais has no idea how such spell was created in its wording to do such. He just understands ti hat the spell molds together several form of sight of an image than what people see. However; the mental connection Arais shares with the creation allows him to process the image in real time and as if it was his own eye looking from such angle through his own eyes.Farther more, Arais is not very descriptive from tricks or to be played into the most crafty mind games such as illusions, but this is only true when "Overwatch" has been cast.

Hung Gar: This piece of magic is more of a ritual. Arais makes a platform of earth. In the shape of a circle he uses his earth to create a raise platform while carving glyph's in the rock. Hung Gar is cast differently instead speaking words or actions. The ritual is a spiritual connection that is referred to as "Neutral Jing". Its when a being's mind is open and calm. This allowing him to increase his connection to mother earth and use greater abilities through earth manipulation. For greater abilities it doesn't change how Arais performs a task, but to the strength and speed in which he can push, pull or compress earth. The connection growing with time.

TBOOOM: Whelp as the name suggest, Arais can release his magic into earthly made objects to release an enjoyable boom. The size of said explosive kick is determined through the amount of energy and/or object. This meaning that even if he has to be large enough to to the energy stable enough while he imbue said object. The only trick around this so far to be found is when Leol compresses objects of use.
Sunny Disposition: Despite the name of this item it is all but kind when on the receiving end of the effects. Similar to his other spell he can change the heat of the item to feel the same as a frozen tundra or as hot as hell fire. The effect of the spell targeting the effect by touch and not the object it self. Meaning the feeling of touching the item could put another in shock from cold, yet the item not in fact frozen what so ever. This spell as well being just as easy or complex depending on the size of said object that he is making such a drastic change upon.

Alzheimer's: Araris had to make contact through touch either through an object or physical touch. This spell works more effectively over time. Every ten minutes his opponent forgets a piece of themselves. Round after round losing a some part of themselves in turn losing whole parts of memory. The spell causes a block in the mind so instead trying to make someone just forget he is completely blocking the fact that such a memory even existed. (In short every turn this targets his opponents mind to trigger lose knowledge and abilities. Per turn they lose the control by forgetting how or that they could even control a manifestation. Lose one for every round a match continues.)

Neurosis: In short like the name it can trigger a mental disorder that unlike the known definition of the word is far more than mild in all regards to the spell. Araris has to release his spell in through neutrality thinking of only evil thought. Learning that when he changes his mentality can effect his magic. The energy spread though or around his opponent either by making a dome/sphere of darkness or through an object that still yet turns the structure into a object of darkness. The spell targets his opponent's mind and body. By pushing thoughts of their own nightmares into their brain he can effect the train of thought, emotion,personality. If left to run ram-pet its more than just insanity or darkness. The spell cause the brain to shut down being unable to function.

Weaponary


Monk's Spade His weapon of choice. Araris is highly fascinated by this weapon. The weapon not used by another that was anything less than another that had his blood line. The weapon base creation leaning solely towards geomancy users. Although the metal make up is foreign to him, Araris found out rather quickly that only a earth user of notable skill could tame the beast, even if they were of his bloodline. Anything the weapon touched was turned into gold.This being non-explainable by himself, but Araris clearly remembers the time he let another use the contraption to only watch the handler turn into gold as well. It was then and there that he learned his lesson. The weapon is long and slim. The shaft being six and a half foot long with a crescent moon shape and the end and a spear point at the other. The moon point to point was six inches. The spear head being the same, the shape of spear tip being squared that grew into a point. With this awesome piece of inventory he can flick a switch built into the shaft to raise either end that is connected through wire. Which, this is quite and odd feature considering the weapon weights enough to suggest it was in deed not hollow in the least.

Hollenfeuer: His sword which its named made from the massive heat that it can produces. Although Leol is unclear to the how and why such actions happen he did learn to harness the gifts for himself. The blade can heat up to just over one hundred and fifty degrees. The sword similar to a board sword with a few changes. Hollenfeuer was crafted to be just a few inches smaller than normal by three inches and given a basket hilt as the hand guard. Much like an older military sword. The craftsmen ship was impeccable.

Gluttony: Arais owns a gold gourd weighting nearly three hundred pounds. The beaut of metal brought to him through his gold ring from a different plane. Arais set the great gourd to act like transmutation device of gold. Of course, Arais could most likely just generate gold . This ability gained through energy of neutrality that treats the earth like a great source of material for its madness. Sadly, however there some strict limitations to his weapon. His gold can generate or produce from dog, people nor any object not complete dirt,rock, metal or minerals in general.

Inventory


Leather Gloves: A pair for gloves he wears magically made by another. The common pair of brown leather gloves allow him to handle the sword with ease. The gloves imbued with the ability to shield his hands from the heat and effects from the magnificent blade.

Valerian: A favored gift in form of a scar under his left eye three inches long imbued with an energy he has never understood. The simple scar allows him to talk to another with his mind. The funny part is that he can target others or defend his mind as well. Although he can do this he has no true mastery of great power with this area. With his mind he can talk to another or think about the other with concentration to the degree that he can given them a mind numbing head ache.

Go fetch: The ring that he gave the nickname even as dumb as it sounded was useful to have. The simple gold ring allows him to materialize objects of his own when he needs them.
