Alexis thought it better not to meet the man known as Anarchy but now she had seen a woman connected to him and was less afraid of her than him so she vanished or at least appeared to because in fact she could move from earth to moon and back in less than 4 seconds so across town where the output of a rooftop night clubs laser show had attracted her.
Her clothing shifted as she altered the light encasing her body into the latest club fashion but still unable to mask her eyes that glowed like twin microscopic yellow white moons; altering her eyes always blinded her and she knew not why.
Then knowing it meant only a bit more attention tried a nw type of entrance meant to act like diving into cold water for everyone figuratively including herself. Her began by illuminating the water vapor always present in the air of the city in soft but increasing patterns of color and intensity. She timed her appearance to coincide with a power riff in the pounding dance tune stepping out of the cloud of light and drift over to the rooftop where she landed as gently as a leaf for she was intangible till touchdown.
Understandably the club security reacted protectively then confused as she presented her ID which was only a copy of the real thing made of light. That still didn’t fly till the club owner stepped up and with a smile knew a chance to cash in on opportunity.
“Welcome to Club 9 Ms.. ?” he asked politely
”Finster but my friends call me Alex Mr ?” answered Alexis with a smile sensing that if no one else then this man alone knew she meant no harm.
“Carlo Bonaduce, but please call me Carlo Alex and please forgive me if this is rude but may I ask why your eyes are glowing?” he asked right off in as gentlemanly a manner as anyone ever had while again showing him a man of some measure.
The effect on Alex’s expression is one of joy as she tells him it’s cause ”I am a being made normally of pure light and when I achieve a solid form there is only one way I may make them appear normal and it’s effect is to render me blind.
And it wasn’t any more rude of a question than my crashing your club uninvited” There followed a lively conversation between Alex and Carlo where she explained she could not drink or even eat. He was amused when she displayed her ability to alter her clothing, it’s color and her own ambient lighting; so she could appear in her best light she told him.
Then as a proper host Carlo returned to his other exclusive guests after introducing her to two art gallery owner he knew
