Since the race I would bring has a half completed NS that is already 56k characters with the same amount that needs to be added, I figured that I would bring just ONE person from that EU of mine to play. Well, more like one group since the only avaible single person would be a bit too advanced for this RP. However this small faction should contain mst of the flavor that my big NS had. Plus I feel like Sophrus will learn a lot from this. Or not. Anways this is all subject to change, plus it is filled with typos.
Faction Name: Gashathi Altum Ordo (Gashathi High Order)
Faction Leader: Kindal'Q
Brief Description of Technology:
Since the dawn of time, the Gashathi have ruled the galaxy with their technological wonders. Now broken and scattered, they hold only a fragment of their past knowledge. However, their equipment is still the undisputed king of galaxy with unparalelled effiency. They employ mostly railguns and missiles for anti-capital warfare. They have advanced subspace sensors and FTL drives that are undetectable. Stealth technology is not far away from them, and a number of their ship designs feature advanced stealth designs.
Here are a few of their unique designs to put the cherry on top of the cake:
IERC - Intelligent Energy Redistributing Circuitry is one of the oldest technologies in the Gashathi fleet. It is what the name suggests: a semi sentient system of circuitry that acts as the bloodveins of the ship. The principle is simple: the cables are replaced with two plates that have amino acids contained between them, with a few solid semi-conductors acting as barriers for the fluid. Localised distributors detect shortages in the circuits and reroute energy from other areas with excess energy. If there is damage taken, the semi-conductors seal, and prevent energy loss. It's simple nature means that it can run at 95% effiency in most cases, and still maintains around 70-75% in excessive combat situations (like being bombarded). This system is produced in a modular fashion that allows for easy repair of damaged parts.
MLRS - The Multi-Layer Rubber Shield is a shield system used by the old Gashathi fleet. Unlike other shield systems, it is designed to conserve energy for other systems by only being semi-active, whilst still providing high level of protection. The shield system scans an early warning zone widely around the ship, picking up any fast moving projectiles, and laying down localised protection against it. This way, the shield only protects areas that are being attacked, and can use more shield layers if only one side is being bombarded. With excess energy to be used, the shield system can make the early warning bigger, and provide even more shield layers. It excells against kinetic attacks, and can even deflect quick moving projectiles without a stable path (such as gyro bullets fired from railguns).Missiles and other conventional weapons that would be ignored by standard shields are also negated by the MLRS.
TELEP Armor - It stands for Thaontine Enriched and Lokhar Energy Protection Armor. It is an armor type that negates around 95% of all energy attacks, and reroutes the excess energy into the shield system to beef them up considerably. It is also effective against kinetic weapons, but not anywhere near as effective as other specialized armor types. It converst around 5% of the kinetic impact energy into electricity as well, given that the plating survives. (Furthermore it is the Hungarian word for capacitator. Bet you didn't expect it huh? Thought it kinda is the seeling point for such a stupid name.)
PODS CIWS - Protected Omnidirectional Defense System is a point defense system that uses a network of different anchor points and sub-armor tunnels to deploy CIWS weapons to meet incoming threats. Out of combat these turrets are stored deep within a central armory of the ship, but they can quickly relocate to any point of the ship when in combat. These small orb shaped guns can also be ejetced into space when damaged and new ones can be palced into their positions.
CITU - Capital Installement Tranquilising Unit are a set of long range hooks that are used to anchor two ships together and deliver massive quantities of energy through them. This "shockwave" will disable and overload system near the points of impact, rendering local defences useless. After the initial impact, these hooks burrow themselves into the hull of the enemy ship and pull them closer to their owner. This can disable and capture smaller ships, or disable capital ships for just enough time to get a boarding party inside.
RAD System - The Rapid Asset Deplyoment system is a form of magnetic launch method that is used in both missile launchers and hangar bays of Gashathi ships. Fighters are launched out of the hangar at full interception speeds, giving their pilots a momentarily advantage over their enemy. Missiles are launched out of the tubes at cruise speeds, requiring less fuel and meaning that they can carry a bigger payload.
Gyro Railgun Slugs - Even thought modern guns have paramount accuracy, some shells still miss their target. However, projectiles equipped with Gyro system can alter their course to adjust their trajectory and hit their target. Missed shots can come back to strike the enemy in their rear, and give the ability to intact shells to impact their target for a second time.
Savage Anti-Capital Missiles - Missilies are an inefficent design by nature. Most of the explosion goes to waste when they impact and they can rarely pierce the enemy's plating. But in space a lot of the old design methods can be altered. Savage missilies do not use standard impact or proximity fuses to explode their payload, but rather deliver the explosion deep into the heart of their marks. Unlike regular payloads, the Savage missiles employ plasma warheads encased withing Duranium casings. The payloads explode in a controlled fashion, meaning that the explosions of the plasma is directed at the enemy instead of going to waste by spreading the power everywhere. This can ensure more crippling blows by pinpoint strikes at important enemy systems.
Types of beings that exist in your faction:
Gashathi - The Gashathi are an all powerful race, as ancient as time itself. Long before the Humans have conquered the Milky Way they had an empire spanning galaxies. However, even thought they have ruled for so long, they couldn't escape the great barrier for sentient beings. Space itself. From beyond the known sectors came the great plague, quickly massacring Trillions and wiping entire species off the face of the universe in days. To avoid them the Gashathi purged their empire, and hid until the time would come to rule again. They possess great psionical powers which they used to determine when to wake up their former empire. Their bodies are genetically modified to be strong, quick, and tenacious to the point of not aging, but the thousands of genetical modifications left them unable to reproduce, leaving them in a constant fear of dying. They are potentially the most intelligent race, and and have senses rivaling that of primitive senosry equipments. Thought once they had made themselves perfect via genetic engineering, that time has passed already, and now their sacred bodies are left alone, and those among them who still wish to modify themselves are sent to "rehabilitation" to consider their wish again. They have 6 eyes, and their face is slightly elongated to house their large brain. They have 6 arms, 2 of which are permanently covered by their long robes. Their body is thin in structure but extremely strong due to physics bending muscle density. But their powerful body is also very flexible and agile, able to fit through small gaps much like octopuses.
"Fanheim" Vixar - A humanoid race of fierce fox-like creatures. Their history of constant warfare with each other over the barren wastes of their homeplanet has evolved them into fierce warriors and potent scientists. They were discovered by the Gashathi only after the Awakening, and were subdued after weeks of bloody conflict over their homeplanet. They are now fiercely loyal to their new overlords, since they united their species andbrought their civilization out of what seemed to be the apocalypse. Their technology is almost an exact copy of the same designs that the Gashathi use, albeit less powerful. They form the basis of the new Gashathi forces, having developed tactics that are much more viable for the Gashathi now that they lack their old numbers. Unlike other subservent species of the same tier, the Vixar are deemed to important to be kept brainwashed. They still adopt their own equipment and leadership in battle, but are kept under constant watch by the Gashathi.
The Fanheim were the most militant subspecies of the Vixar before their race was conquered by the Gashathi. Kindal'Q has taken a liking to their agressive nature and fierce loyalty for those stronger than them. Despite most of the Council agreeing on them being too dangerous to use, the Grand Overseer is using the Fanheim in great numbers.
(yes, the resources are taken from Stellaris. Either this or furries that don't resemble my ideas at all)
Kronsemar - A race of what appears to be sentient robots at first glance reveals tiny creatures controlling much larger combat suits. The Kronsemar are a race of tiny humanoids similar to goblins that have excellent engineering skills. They are phisically quite weak but agile which makes them dangerous even out of combat. Their suits are approximately 3 times larger than them, and are used in combat situations. They make quite formidable foes inside their suits and excellent engineers out of them. They can fix almost anything that is broken, and they can make anything break in just a few seconds.
Lokhar - An insectioid race of spider like creatures. They have hardy skins that are effective at dissipating energy damage, but are very fragile otherwise. Thought it may seem that they don't have a language, they use some sort of unknown psionic technique to communicate with each other in the gigantic underground hive colonies they live in. Unlike other insects that live in hives, there is no ruler, but rather a strong sense of survival in every individual of the race that makes them co-operate perfectly. They are are the workhorses of the empire, as they excell in mining, operating machinery, and building structures. There are a number of them that are called officers and they are given special implants so they can understand the language that the orders are given in. They are primarily miners and ship builders for the Gashathi.
Vulkhar - Gigantic beasts with the intellect of tiny insects. However they not completely devoid of intelligence, even if it is much smaller that that of primitive beings. They have their own language and have incredible memory, not to mention their very complex social structure. Their bodies are huge, ranging around 20-40 meters of heigh depending on 3 genders, incredibly strong, and very well armed with scales that can deflect all but the strongest of projectiles. They are used when other tamed beasts can't do the heavy lifting. Once they get angry, there is no stopping them, so the Gashathi usually stop asking them to do stuff to avoid colleteral damage, and more likely manipulate them to make them beleive what they do is for themselves. That said, they have the same implants as other subservent races have, even if they are for stunning and angering them rather than controlling them. There are special transport ships for their carrying, reinforced heavely, just in case these generally calm monsters get the blood eye before battle. However as calm as they are, before they had the fighting capabilities of a Moon Destroyer compacted into 20 meters of flesh, they were a lot more suspectible to attacks from wildlife on their planet. This evolved a natural gland in their body that stores adrenaline safely, and when they are attacked, it releases the stored substance and enrages them into a bloody rage, only controlled by their implants to some extent.
Philosophy/Goals Etc:
The High Order is seeking to find their long dormat sanctuaries and recruit some races still loyal to the old Gashathi ways. They are highly fanatical making diplomacy hard with them. Thought they are not yet ready for a full out war, they are already spreading their ideals on other races they meet. Ultimately their goal is to reshape the current Gashathi way of living, and bring back the dark past of the galaxy's mightiest race. Kindal'Q wants to establish his zealous ideals and found his own Singularity to acquire more power and change the way the Gashathi function as a species.
Brief History:
Ever since the first Singularity solidified and met with the seond and third Singularity, there has been some level of integral tension. Conflicting ideals and racial chaos has been weel contained but not entirely destroyed withing the Gashathi Empire. One of the most painful example is the segregation of High Gashathi from the Elder Gashathi. Thought not very prominent nowadays, the High Gashathi used to be looked down upon by the Elders for their ideals remaining from before the big reforms took palce in their Empire. Before they strived for security and instead improved themselves to their full extent, worshipping themselves even more as gods. Kindal'Q used to be one of these High Gashathi, but he took the oppurtinity of being a Grand Overseer and detached from the first Singularity to "gather information".

Name: Kindal'Q
Title/Rank: Grand Overseer
Gender: Unigender
Species: Gashathi
Description:
Kindal'Q is a religious Overseer of the first Singularity. He holds a lot of power in his hands and is responsible for overlooking projects issued by the ruler himself. Even thought the Gashathi already beleive themselves to be gods, he disagress with the strife to create a perfect being, and instead insists that the Gashathi ARE the perfect beings. He beleives that true perfection can only be achieved if every other race looks up to the Gashathi as gods, and then they shall become true gods.
Unique traits/Personality:
-Fanatic Zealot: Cannot be manipulated. His words are extremely persuasive and can easely change the belief of other individuals.
-Cunning: As an Overseer, Kindal'Q often had to deal with secrets and disobedient races. He has learnt his way with people and he will always try to be one step ahead of the others, no matter if they are friend or foe.
-Respects strenght: Much like the old Gashathi, Kindal'Q marvels over the strenght of other races. He values honorable traits in other races, and accepts them into his order.
Equipment:
Armadae of the Eternal Gem - Kindal'Q is in command of the "Eternal Gem", the second largest Gashathi ship in all three of the Singularities. He was the one to oversee the production of this vessel, and it was given to him by the High One after he achieve many great victories with it. Thought the High One now commands a vessel mightier than Gem, the ship is still a marvel of engineering. It spans as long as 11 kilometers long and several hundereds of meter across. This ship stands a testament to the artistic talent of the Gashathi and the engineering provess of Lokhar. Out of combat this ship conceals it's true combat capabilities by hiding it's guns behind thick plating. However it's arsenal consists of hundreds of capital sized batteries and thousands of smaller batteries, flak entrenchements and a massive PODS system. It can house and launch 50 full wings of fighters and bombers, as well as 8 additional Ful'noK class Heavy Escort Corvettes inside it's main hangar bay. These ships all add up to be named the Armadae of the Eternam Gem.
Furthermore, there are plans of upgrading the Eternal Gem to a newer design that was drafted up by talented Mekar engineers back at home, but the lack of resources and equipment has so far stopped the project from becoming a reality.
