Days of carnage.
The year is 2032 and as always humanities greatest curse and gift is making its mark onto the world once again. War. In the past seven years within the heart of Africa a warlord named Khari has risen to power through brutal force, killing those who lie in his way and taking what, or who he believes is destined to be his. At first the world saw him as just another murderous monster trying to take over the world. Many predicted his reign would end in the matter of weeks. As you all might have guessed, they were wrong. Khari may have been what most would call a savage killer, but he had a hidden talent of leadership and tactical brilliance. These talents combined with his brutal methods cause nothing but trouble. Slowly he slaughtered his way to power, taking rival warlords territory through force, or "convincing" them to join his cause. After six years of war and terror he had officially taken half of Africa with an iron fist. It was at this point the U.S decided to finally act against the warlord with military force instead of warnings, or providing assistance to Khari's foes. It took a year to finalize preparations for an invasion, but the time has finally come. The first step in taking ground within Africa is the capital in the Western Sahara, Laayoune. That is where the job is passed onto you Marines, you will be the spearhead of the attack and take on Khari's forces in both an aerial and marine invasion. Prepare yourselves Marines, the next couple of days will put your training to the test.
So that's what I got! I've had a few ideas floating around in my skull for awhile and this was the one I picked out of all of them. Now know I don't plan on this being the RP's intro, or official summary, I'm just pitching an idea. If this gets enough interest (maybe around four-five) I'll put more of an explanation of this world event and go a little deeper into it.
