Abilities: Swordsman ship and holy fire used to combat against dark forces.

Background: Victor Lox is a well known sell sword that earned his name from battlefield to battlefield. He aided in both the defense and demolishment of empires and has fought against hellish forces of the darkness for the church. As Victor grew older he began to see his skills on the field begin to become slower and less effective. So, with his age now becoming a burden Victor has decided to gift his knowledge of fighting techniques and experience to the Arcane Orphanage.

Name: Guy Reece

Appearance: A child around 5"8 with relatively short, dark hair, not a buzz cut, the top is just a bit longer which doesn't seem to respect the laws of gravity. His body has a strong build, not from actual fitness but from constant farming, chopping wood and shipping stones on a farm. His skin is tanned but still retains his light shade, cuts line up his arm from abuse, his hands are tough with blisters and scars. Guys' face is red from constant work in the sun, his eyes grey and tired, his skin rubbery. His face isn't what you would call handsome, he is average looking with not much sexual appeal. His clothes appear baggy, dull and worn, his shirt laces up and almost looks like a vest, his shorts drop to his thighs and nearly go below his knees, strapped sandals can be seen on his feet and appear near breaking apart, however, the sandals seem to work perfectly fine even during physical training.

Abilities: He is able to endure most pains and can lift his own weight, he does not have much magical prowess, only understanding basic uses and laws. Swordsmanship, hand to hand combat and practical problems is his forte, he excels in physical training being eager and able to pass through fitness. While being physically capable he is knowledgeable in language and history as well, however, maths is his worst subject, he isn't unable to solve problems, he just needs a few fingers to get past multiplication and division.

Background: He was born into an abusive family which owned a farm, rather than being treated as a child he was made to work as a slave, fighting through the heat and the rain, his only joy was hiding in the fields and playing with the forest sprites. He ran from the farm after learning about the orphanage, the orphanage which trained children to become adventurers, it was a second chance, a chance to leave his life of slavery and farm work.

Abilities: An Elven all rounder, he doesn't stick to one style of fighting or weapon, every day it's different having multiple masteries of different weapons and magics. He is also well built and understands how to teach a class of kids to feel pain and grow muscle, aiming to make them as built as he is.

Background: born and bred in the orphanage, he decided to stay and teach the younger students a thing or two, before he knew it he was a master of battle, he was certified to teach proper classes and take apprenticeships. He generally teaches the junior classes, combat, weapons, magic... apart from combat he sometimes leads early morning training along with some of the black grade seniors.

Appearance: Graced with sylvan beauty, but cursed with the visage of death. Her skin is smooth and youthful, but pale with a slight recession of her cheeks that pronounces pointed cheekbones. Her hair is full, but a dull black that look black as void, even in daylight. She is rather gaunt and fragile, the less clothing she wears, the more she resembles a wilting corpse wrapped in eleven beauty. She keeps her hands wrapped in cloth and prefers loose-fitting robes to mask her sickly figure. When fully clothed her appearance draws no attention apart from her abnormally pale skin.

Abilities: Highly intelligent, as a result very sophisticated for her age. A gifted spell caster among her peers but easily outclassed by any well-read mage. Unless perhaps, when it come to necromancy. While she has yet to learn how to raise dead humanoids, she is practiced in speaking with the dead and even animating limbs of a corpse, as well as fully animating small rodents and some birds.

Background: Born to two learned eleven mages of affluence in an eleven society, Kivana was was well educated in the arts of the arcane by both her loving parents. Her parents saw promise in her as she was performing parlor tricks flawlessly by the age of 6. At eight, Kivana's parents were grooming their daighter to be a great summoner, but one night while training Kivana's father accidentally handed her a quarto of The Book of the Damned as the ritual text. Kivana has never revealed the nature of what was summoned that day, she only tells the Thing was banished, but her parents didn't survive the encounter. Kivana studied the quarto, and discovered a knack for necromancy. She was found at age 11 sleeping in a mausoleum by a grave digger who brought her to the Orphanage after speaking with her, where she was taught to speak the Common Tongue and continues to study under the guidance of its staff.

Abilities

Living Construct - Gabriel has no need for physical sustenance like mortals do. It was created through magic and will live on without needing to eat, drink, etc. It does not tire easily and will outlast anyone in a battle of attrition. It does run out of mana supply in its soulstone but it recovers magic from the lingering mana in the environment.

Mana Detection - It can detect mana instinctively. Due to this, it knows it can win a battle if the location of the battlefield has plenty of mana to take into itself. Magic users and laid bare to its eyes, instantly knowing whether someone is capable of magic or not.

Soulstone - It is what makes Gabriel live. It is a homunculus powered by mana and the soulstone stores mana inside. It is located within Gabriel's other self, a miniature dragon homunculus already finished upon his awakening - storing mana within the soulstone. Gabriel and the small dragon are one and the same, just with two bodies, with only one soulstone to power them.

Distortion - When Gabriel is hit with an attack, an image of it appears, moving the same way it does. The image disappears after successfully landing an attack. Gabriel and the image are indistinguishable from one another and will not disappear if it takes damage. There's a limit of one image, regardless how many time's it's hit.

Sunder - While it needs to take damage to produce an image of itself, doing its actions, Sunder makes it so that there are two of Gabriel's images fighting with him. This ability has a one time daily limit use. Any more than that will immediately and unnecessarily drain all remaining mana within the soulstone. During the use of this ability, physical abilities and resistance to magic and physical attacks are increased two-fold. It's requirement is to have Gabriel's dragon self physically attached to it.

Background

Gabriel was created fifteen years ago by a young magus. This young magus lost his lover and child. He had a lot of potential for other magics but instead, he turned to creating homunculi that would fill the void in his heart. His attempts ended in failure but the first homunculus he made, without touching again, was Gabriel.

Gabriel's creation was a burst of grief and sadness. The reason the magus did not touch his first homunculus was that it looked almost exactly as his deceased child. It lead the magus to incubate Gabriel, leaving it alone. However, due to the magus' failures with all other attempts at creating other homunculi, he returned to where Gabriel was incubated. The surprise at Gabriel's progress made him lose all thought. Gabriel grew from a toddler into a young man, a boy comparable to that of a seventeen year old.

The surprise made the magus forgot that he had one other homunculus which wasn't a failure. It was a dragon of only two feet long. It was a success in all requirements, only that it didn't function and wasn't able to awaken. It did supply itself with mana to sustain life, but there was nothing else.

After crying himself to sleep, the magus awakened and cleared his thoughts. He remembered the small dragon without a mind and Gabriel, who grew despite being unfinished, without a soulstone. He got to work and he succeeded. A complete homunculus with two bodies, Gabriel as the sentient body and the dragon gathering mana. His success was short lived. In the time he spent to create his homunculus, he lost all sense of self preservation and had let the killer of his family find him.

The magus was killed and Gabriel, upon instinct, killed its creator's killer. With one last whisper, it earned its name, Gabriel Dragomir - named after the prodigious Altair Dragomir's son.

Appearance: About 5'6 tall, white skin, green eyes, dirty-blonde hair (more yellow than any other color). Dresses in shorts and boxers only, no shirt or footwear (Picture to come later).
Abilities: Moderate skill with martial combat (boxing and wrestling, plus a couple of other martial arts. Average student, no magical talent, still a novice with weapons.
Background: Brought into the orphanage as a young boy, Aurelian has little memory of his parents. The only thing he inherited from them is his name. When he asked about his background, the staff told him that he was brought to them by a figure identifying himself as a friend, and nothing more. As such, he has no real background, a fact which angers him greatly. He wishes to learn the truth about his origins and where he really comes from, although his light skin and blonde hair indicate that he was not from the warmer climate of the orphanage.
