Consumed appearance
Name: Sage
Alias: Jason P. Bishop
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: heterosexual
Relationship status: (chuckles)
Appearance: Sage is a teenage boy a bit below average in height at 5’8” and with a medium, somewhat tone build, weighing in at about 148 lbs. He has a fair complexion with light freckling on his upper cheeks and Nose Bridge. He also has very unique, milky white hair which is typically clean but a bit messy and eyes of the same color. One last thing that should be noted is that he has good posture and carries himself confidently. (When consumed by his power, the only trait that changes are his eyes, his irises glow orange like fire and his pupils become vertical slits.)
Personality: Sage has a reserved and observant personality, but for more than half of his life, it was more like his personality was being designed to serve a purpose rather than it being allowed to develop naturally. Due to this he’s also very cold and extremely logical, and all in all he’s analogous to a psychopath, without being one completely of course. Generally speaking because of that, he is capable of justifying the means to almost any end. From this it can be inferred that Sage has killed before, both under the orders of his superiors and in order to forward his personal agenda.
Unlike psychopaths, Sage is neither narcissistic or an egomaniac. He follows a philosophic school of thought that he believes contains many fundamental truths about the universe, but at the same time, is a terrible philosophy to actually live by. That is Nihilism. Nihilism caused his depression and suicidal behavior. He has thoughts of dying or suicide all the time but frequently rejects them by some unknown force. He himself thinks that that force is the desire to one day love, have a family and grow old with a woman he loves. He knows that in this sort of society that his kind are fully rejected causing him to avoid forming any kind of meaningful relationships, so he doesn’t like to entertain that thought much.
His behavior is different when his power consumes him as well. He goes from a follower of Nihilism to an embodiment of it. He does whatever he wants, acts reckless and is a generally a jackass. He also expresses himself emotionally far more when his power consumes him than on an ordinary basis. Furthermore he is also enjoys to toy with anyone unfortunate enough to be referred to as “his prey” when he’d normally go for a quick clean kill, under these situations he would screw with his target before dispatching them, psychologically and sometimes physically torturing before their demise. All in all, sage is one fucked up kid.
Clothing: He keeps it simple. Jeans, leather work boots, and a black T-shirt are the articles of clothing that he usually decides to wear.
Weaponry: He doesn’t see the point of using weaponry because he’s a mutant, but since his power does have limitations, and he needs a source of income he does keep plenty of assorted weapons around for the purpose of sale, many of them firearms, mostly from caravans outside the walls that found themselves in unfortunate circumstances. He does however have two that aren’t for sale, a rare Belgian fn5-7 pistol, and a suppressed Russian Dragonauv svd, for when his targets are out of reach.
Equipment: He has a computer and related hardware (meant for hacking/jamming/modding/etc), some power and hand tools, a chemistry set, a “locksmithing” equipment, electronics equipment (soldering, etc), an old Cadillac sedan and a camera and other photography equipment. He has a lot of books if that kind of stuff counts too.
Beliefs: Nothing matters, there is no god and we’re all going to die>
Religious trinkets: *Insert Crickets
Powers: Chaos manipulation which is basically the domain of the chaotic forces of the universe. Randomness, disorder, entropy, destruction, etc. All in all, any force that can be related to Chaos is something that Sage should be capable of controlling.
Pros: large range of applications, potential to be very powerful.
Current spells known
1. Chaotic Blink- basically a regular blink, almost instant teleportation limited to 150 meters and line of sight. Very slim chance of teleportation being random.
2. Probability- Gives him amazing luck. Used to increase his odds of success or someone else’s odds of failure. Also without this most of his spells such as the aforementioned blink would be useless, because although they would always work, the results would also always be random.
3. Destruction runes- Gives him the ability to lay runes that disintegrate whatever they are linked to. These runes can only be conducted through solid objects, which means that Sage has to at least make indirect contact with whatever object (or person) he wants to destroy. Also only parts of the object on which the runes are visible are destroyed. The amount of runes that he can have active at one time is also limited and though laying runes is very quick, it is not instantaneous. The speed and amount of runes that he can lay can increase over time, as his tolerance to chaotic energy increases
Cons: Because nothing’s perfect
1. Physical repercussions: Prolonged use of powers result in the temporary loss of his powers, lethargy, internal bleeding, shakes, a fever and intense migraines. In more intense cases prolonged use of his powers could result in a seizure. Over time he will gain more resistance to chaotic energy, and the quantity of it that he can release before these effects come into play will increase as well
2. Mental repercussions: If he indulges in the use of his powers too often and for the wrong reasons, then he loses control of his actions and a personality separated from his own emerges, which generally doesn’t give a fuck. This personality is more reckless, hedonistic, and destructive than Sage’s regular personality. A physical change also occurs in him which will allow normal people to easily identify him as a mutant in this state, which will cause him to need to constantly wear a disguise, which would be annoying. This personality is also extremely dangerous, not subtle at all, and will kill at a whim. All Sage would have to do to get killed would be to let this personality loose for a few hours and when he comes to everyone will want his head on a platter. This personality was only released once in his lifetime and that instance was covered up by the Church.

Bio: His powers were discovered at an early age by his parents before he could remember. The doctor who discovered this reported this to the church, and as an infant he was taken from his family in order to be euthanized. An ambitious priest had other plans though. He wanted to rise up in the ranks of the church, and needed his opponents dealt with, and a powerful mutant would do the trick. The priest raised him in secret, and warped the boy’s personality, playing mind games on him and teaching him how those mind games worked. He gave the boy an education, but not all things come free as Sage would one day learn. He was Nine years old when he had his first assignment. One of his master’s fellow priest, charming, charismatic, rising to power. Sage’s master couldn’t have his rival taking the position that he wanted, so Sage killed him as he was ordered to, making it look like an accident, and for three years he took up similar assignments killing for the rogue, power-hungry priest.
One day, while trotting through the streets on his down-time, he saw a bunch of dead activists who had been publicly executed for the crimes of blasphemy, apostasy and the hiding away of mutants. He saw one of the bodies, He was a middle aged man, and he recognized his features, milky white hair and eyes, pail complexion, light freckling on his upper cheeks and the bridge of his nose. It was his father, for the first time in a long time the boy felt emotions. Anger, sadness, hatred, confusion, despair, and then nothing. He woke up later that night in an abandoned lot. His clothes were tattered and he felt fatigued, sirens blared in the city, two blocks were destroyed by an unknown mutant, over five-hundred people were murdered and no witnesses were left. Something in him knew that he was the one responsible. He jacked a car and went to his home, loaded all that he could in it and sped out of town, never looking back. His master, now a bishop, did his former asset one last favor, as a gesture of goodwill, covering up any evidence that the reckless mutant left behind.
The boy lived in the wilds for almost five years, learning quickly, reading books, and learning how to use his powers to fight monsters. He did it effectively. He found an abandoned gas station far from the main roads where he set up shop. He’d stalk caravans and attract powerful monsters to them. Many would be killed by the monster and a lot of their supplies would be left behind. He lived off of these supplies for a while, travelling to the nearby city of Ravenholm to sell them. He used his probability manipulation in order to decrease the chances of a monster coming across his home as much as possible, but as all things aren’t perfect, one day, that happened. To make a long story short, that monster was killed and Sage’s home was gone. He again had to fit whatever he had in his crappy old Cadillac and travel to the nearest town, Ravenholm, where he now lives under the guise of a transfer High school student from another town by the name of Jason P. Bishop
