Character Rules
1. All CS must be posted on the original OOC, and NOT here. I will add them here once they are accepted! Also, no posting [WIP] character sheets. It just tends to clutter things up. If you want to save it, save it using a program on your computer.
2. All characters are not created equal! This is a superhuman roleplay, meaning some characters will be more powerful then others. That is not the point of this roleplay however. If you're trying to make the 'ultimate fighter' character, just move along now and don't bother. The point of this roleplay is to explore how people handle having these powers, not just how well they fight with them. The GM reserves rights to ask you to tone down your characters powers. The best way to make a dynamic character is to give them very clear strengths and weaknesses not just in abilities, but in their personality and traits as well. Try your best to make a character you can root for, whether they win or lose!
3. Character death is most certainly possible, however a character can never be killed off unless a GM approves it. Deaths can be a massively cool and impactful event, so always keep them in mind. That being said I'll never kill off anyone without discussing it first to make sure it's best for the story.
4. There are no limits to characters. I trust you'll know how much you can handle. Just use different colors or fonts in order to differentiate between them.
5. At the beginning of each post, make certain to declare where exactly in Britain this is happening. If you have any questions, refer to the 'World' section in the OOC for a list of locations and explanations of areas.
6. The GM has to approve all powers before a character is accepted. Not every character can be absurdly powerful, although having one or two in the hands of a responsible player can indeed be fun. The only types of powers off limits unless given direct permission are: Titans, Britain Rifters who have powers on the level of controlling entire oceans or skies, and those which can see through time. Everything else is up for grabs!
7. Each Rift will dictate some things about your character. For example, if they happened to receive powers from the African Rift they will mostly likely be... Well, African. I'm okay with figuring out ways around this, such as maybe an American was doing mission work in Africa at the time, but make it realistic! Also, with all these characters living in Britain, they have begun to learn each others languages. The most commonly spoken language is English for the sake of the Roleplay. Also, character powers must fit the theme of the Rift! There will be some debate about this, and I'm happy to help! But eventually we have to decide which powers goes to which Rift. Ask if you have any questions!
8. Lastly, every Rifter is different. Even if there are two Rifters with fire powers, both could be incredibly unique in the way they utilize these abilities. Maybe one can use flames to create constructs of animals, and the other can control the heat of the surrounding area. Everyone is different, get creative!

Character Name: Walter Wilhelm.
Basic Traits
Quote: "What do you think this is? Science?"
Height: 5'0".
Age: 18.
Appearance:
Kind of a standard looking young fellow. He's got medium length brown hair, the back of it reaching down to the base of his neck and the front hanging just a little bit past the eyes, swept aside over the ears so as to not be a nuisance to him. His eyes are a dark brown and he's got a slightly pointed face. While he's not conventionally handsome some might say he's okay to look at. He's not recieved greater praise for his looks than that, at least not from anyone sober.
Otherwise he's kind of a thin white kid. He's kind of lanky and fairly pale too. He usually chooses to wear a plain green shirt and blue jeans, mainly for comfort. On the job he has his finely tailored suits all slick, black and professional. He can almost always be seen with a drink of some sort in his hands.
Ethnicity: American.
Background
History:
His was a fancy life. Born to the casino mogul Donovan Wilhelm he lived a life of travel and riches. From an early age Don took Walter and his wife everywhere he went. Walter himself got to sit in the lap of luxury, to and fro high-end hotels all over the world. He had not a care in the world as everything was handed his way.
It all changed when they were over in Moscow since Don was visiting to attend the opening of his new casino there. The rift opened and from there everything changed.
Rift History:
For the longest while Walter had seen no obvious signs of change. The light was fairly pretty but nothing unfortunate was happening so he had no reason to change his lifestyle. His parents however underwent their discoveries much sooner than he did. In truth he was somewhat disappointed with them having powers instead of him. It was both boring and predictable that they would get all the cool stuff first and he'd see it only after they did.
It happened when he was drinking a bottle of sugar cane soda. As he drank he recalled a flavour he had found interesting some time back. As the thought crossed his mind the flavour of the soda he was drinking suddenly shifted, becoming the flavour he was just dwelling upon. Marvelous! He swiftly discovered he could change the soda into any number of fluids with little more than simply a thought. Upon experimentation he soon learned he could change vast quantities of liquids into other liquids. Upon turning a river into wine his mind glowed with the potential for his new gift.
War History:
War is never a pretty thing. It bothered Walter to no end that these spoil-sports were popping the lid off the big secret, ruining what potential abuses he could of run with if he and his parents weren't forced to go into hiding.
For several long years they hid. Given their resources they had a fairly strong capacity for keeping themselves off the radar. It was not to remain however as they were eventually found through The Order's use of rifters. Given the choice of working for them or being used as lab experiments his family picked the former choice. All but Walter used their powers to aid The Order in their fight against the rifter army. Walter managed to con his way out of participating, convincing them that the only thing he could do is change water into wine. A neat trick but useless for battle.
Before too long the end to the war came and the deal was struck. At that point the Wilhelm family were offered another choice: Go to Britain and remain in isolation or stay and live in The Order under constant monitor. His parents chose to remain in The Order so they could keep a hold of all their money and possessions. Walter however was fed up with being kept prisoner by The Order. He saw staying as no better than remaining a prisoner, deprived of his freedom and forced to live a life forever as a normal person in this oppressive new world. This was an opportunity to pioneer a new future for himself, a future with him at the top.
Not to mention he was bored to tears by the very thought of having to sit and wait, counting the very breaths of his father until they stopped and he could finally collect his fortune. No, waiting simply wouldn't do. The entrepreneurial spirit burned brightly within him and chose to be sent off to Britain, much against the protests of his mother and father. Despite their insistance however he was old enough to make the decision for himself and The Order cared little for what became of one family of rifters in the grand scheme of things.
In the end Walter wound up seperated from his parents, alone in a big washed out mess of a landscape. Through his cleverness and his smarts however he made himself indispensable to the rifters, making useful friends along the way. Come current day and now he's at the top of his own trade & distribution company, a veritable Trade Prince as he's now referred to as.
Alliance: Walter is his own alliance now. Other people ally themselves to him, not the other way around. If he must he can ally his company with other factions but there hasn't been a need... Yet.
Abilities
Rift: Russian Rift.
Abilities:
He can change any fluid that he is in direct line of sight of into any liquid which he had personally seen up close with little else but a thought.
He cannot change liquids he cannot see such as a person's blood so long as it's trapped beneath the skin or the tap water inside a faucet for a couple examples.
He cannot change any other state of matter except liquids. If he were to try and transmute ice into another substance for example it would fail since ice is a solid.
In order to change a liquid into a specific liquid he has to have seen the liquid of choice with his naked eye, not through a picture or a video.
Lastly if he is looking upon a murky or opaque fluid which prevents him from seeing the fluid beneath the surface it doesn't count as obscured. He can change the fluid in it's entirety as if he were looking right through clear water.
Side effects: Nope.
Personality:
He's an opportunist. First thing he thinks whenever he walks into a room is what he can make of what's given. While his level of pragmatism makes him somewhat callous to other peoples feelings it's made him rather resourceful.
He's put a sort of barrier between himself and everyone else. He sees the whole world, humans and rifters alike, as not any more or less than him, just different. He was never in the same circles as most ordinary peers so he's taken that feeling of alienation and made it his signature view on things.
As such he doesn't take other people's problems all too seriously. The whole world could be exploding around him and he wouldn't give half a care as long as none of it effected him in any way. He won't ignore something that might become his problem in the future though.
He calls himself an entrepreneur, his detractors would call him a sociopath. Having spent his life living in luxury only to throw it all down for a chance at something greater he's got a fair amount of determination to make the most of this broken down hovel of a country. If there's one thing Walter cares more for than luxury it's freedom, at least his own that is.
He's never really run into an instance where someone's broken through that emotional shell of his to become anything more than just another acquaintance. We'll see who he is then when we get there.
Mission:
His ultimate aim is the acquisition of power. He looks to control all of Britain by maintaining a strong grip over resources for human needs such as water and food. On top of all that he has aspirations of possibly striking a deal with The Order to establish a safe trading route with them so that all who serve his company can revel in the power and comforts of their technology.
Weaknesses:
- He's physically weak.
- He has no hand-to-hand skills.
- He's unaccustomed to hard effort.
- He is emotionally distant.
- He is rather greedy.
- He finds firearms unwieldy and difficult to use.
Strengths and Talents:
- He's had a fairly robust education.
- He has some experience in selling people on his ideas.
- He's got both training and a naturally good aim with water guns.
- He controls a powerful corporation he founded during the rebuilding of London which he's used to dominate the market in most goods.
- He has a diverse wealth of knowledge regarding liquids, knowledge he's constantly aiming to expand.
- He's great at keeping his cool in tense situations.
Fears:
His greatest fear is the loss of his own freedom. He's gathered up all sorts of power be it economical or sheer manpower so he can protect his own rights. For him a true nightmare would be to end up a slave to some cruel rifter or worse, captured and used as some lab rat by The Order. As a result he's rather distrustful of telepaths since he runs the risk of having his mind warped by their powers, causing him to lose his freedom to some shadowy puppeteer as a result.

Character Name: Krag Chamapiwa
Basic Traits
Quote: "I would invite you to introduce yourself either to me, or my fist. I hope you would choose me... I'm a much better conversationalist."
Height: 6'7"
Age:32
Appearance: Krag is the definition of a mountain of man. Everywhere he goes his massive, bulky, and muscle bound frame seems to take up more space then any other object in the room, almost as if he has his very own gravitational pull. Every inch of his skin shows his dedication to hard work, boasting numerous scars, burns, and the color of black from his long life living in Africa underneath the hot sun. In great contrast to his near perfect black skin however are his bright blue eyes that shine with an odd intelligence that seems out of place with his clearly muscle-man type physique, and to further break stereo types his hair shines a bright gold as it stretches down passed his shoulders in a neatly kept braid. Everything about this man seems strong, terrifying, and unwelcoming until he allows himself to smile. Somehow despite living for so long in poverty withing Africa, his teeth are perfectly straight and a shining white that he shows regularly with his charming smile.
Beyond his face and scars, he boasts several tribal tattoos that stretch down his shoulders and back which don't appear to have much meaning although Krag never explains to anyone what they truly represent, and many assume even he doesn't know himself. The entire man is somewhat an enigma, with a terrifying persona, but a rather kind smile and look within his eyes behind it all that often causes other to be uncertain how to act around him.

Ethnicity: African, through and though. His family has lived in tribes from there for as long as any could remember.
Background
History: Krag lived in nothing but poverty before the Rifts occurred. For generations his family had lived in a small tribe which did their best to survive, with moderate success. They were relatively cornered off from most of the world, and for the most part they were able to live in relative peace. This ended when the warlords of the surrounding area discovered them a year before the Rifts opened.
At the time, Krag was going to be elected as chief of the area however when the Warlords came he was forced to leave in order to find any sort of supplies to pay them as their demand for 'protecting' their tribe. He traveled from village to village, begging anyone to lend them supplies so he could save them however none would spare anything. Eventually he came across one small village which swore to help save him.
They were never able to follow through. That very night the Rifts opened above the village and everyone went into a panic. By the time Krag was able to find someone who was calm enough to help, his entire village had been entirely slaughtered. He returned to nothing but bloody and burned corpses, leaving him with nothing in the world.

Rift History: Krag left the village which the Rift had opened up over long before the scientists of the world appeared to study it,
and therefore was able to avoid being discovered for some time.
and therefore was able to avoid being discovered for some time.
War History: Krag never truly entered the war. Instead he remained a silent and grieving bystander for some time, wandering off into the world to be quiet and never seen. He stayed a pacifist for some time until he discovered news of a Titan having somehow made it's way to Africa. Because the Order had already imprisoned nearly all the African Rifters, he was the only line of defense to keep the beast from tearing across the landscape, murdering everything it saw. He leapt into action to fight the beast when he discovered it was making a beeline for one of the nearby villages he had taken refuge in, and battled the beast for an entire day and night. Eventually it wounded him so horrifically he was forced to retreat, however his actions had gotten the attention of the Order and reinforcements were sent to eventually subdue the beast. Thanks to his act of power and heroism, the Order offered him a chance to help save lives by fighting off other Titans, and eventually he realized it was his chance to atone for leaving his village behind. Krag accepted and spent the rest of the war standing as the only line of defense against Titans with the other Rifters who had sided with the Order.
Alliance: Krag allies himself with none of the territories. Instead he resides in the Tradezones as a wandering mercenary.
Abilities
Rift: The African Rift
Abilities: Krag gained the ability to control and morph his body in horrific and powerful ways. So long as he has stored up enough energy, Krag can seemingly infinitely generate muscle mass, bone tissue, and skin to the point where he can either heal from wounds for absurd amounts of time or turn himself into horrific and giant creatures made of nothing more then bone, skin, and muscle. These abilties allow him to create armor made of bone, regenerate wounds at impossible rates, and turn himself into nearly ten foot tall versions of himself with far superior strength.
Side effects: Anytime he generates any body tissue, Krag is forced to call upon his own energy to do so. Because of this he is forced to consume massive amounts of food in order to have the energy to use his abilities any time he needs, which means he must always have unholy amounts of food at his disposal if he wishes to use his own abilities.
Personality:
Mission: Krag roams the Rift-Lands only looking for purpose. Ever since his time fighting off Titans has come to an end, he feels a great void in his chest from his mission of atoning for the loss of his tribe. Now he only roams Britain in the hopes that somehow he'll find something that will give him a purpose in life again.
Weaknesses: Krag's greatest weakness is his brain. If it were to ever get damaged, such as a concussion, he loses all of his abilities for some time, meaning he must always be cautious of blows to the head. Beyond this there is his need to constantly consume food,
and his somewhat slower intelligence. Many assume he's dumb, which he's not, however he certainly isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
and his somewhat slower intelligence. Many assume he's dumb, which he's not, however he certainly isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Strengths and Talents: Thanks to his time as a mercenary, Krag is a dangerous and powerful hand to hand fighter which few would want to tangle with. Not only this, he knows how to use fire-arms decently well, and he secretly is an absolutely amazing chef. His talent for cooking is paralleled only by his love of eating that food.
Fears: Krag fears never finding a purpose in his life, and losing his chance to redeem himself. He's also secretly terrified of cats thanks to an event in his childhood, and purposefully avoids the Wildlands for fear of ever running into a dreaded Feline-Hybrid.
James Mikhailovich
Basic Traits
Quote: "Look, if I shout 'watch out below,' I'm not responsible for you getting crushed? Ok? Jesus, you want Health and Safety breathing down our necks again?"
Height: 5'11
Age: 26
Appearance: Reasonably tall, and a slim man without any real visible muscle to him. He has pale skin and blonde hair that is still lush and rich despite the fact he lives in the destroyed Britain. He tends to be seen wearing a simple pair of jeans, a long black t-shirt,
a pair of boots that come up above his ankle, and a military overcoat from his time in the rift wars. Looking at him, you would never suspect that he once was a scientist.
His eyes are a clear blue colour, and his vision is naturally flawless, with a smattering of bristles on his chin to tie the whole thing together. Really, the only distinguishing thing about him is his habit of wearing a long red scarf, wound three or four times around his neck, yet still with at least two feet dangling down. Nobody knows why he wears it.

Ethnicity: Anglo-Russian. Speaks both languages.
Background
History: Born in England to a mother that was Russian, James grew up bouncing between both countries. He learned to speak the two languages fluently when he was a child, something that came very useful when he joined a Russian observatory. Pre-Rifts, he was an astrophysicist, and was one of the first people on the scene when the Russian rift cracked open for the first time. From there, he followed the Rifts and attempted to study them, without much luck.
Rift History: James was one of the first researchers on the scene. It's theorised that the earlier you were around the rifts, the more powerful your powers would end up being. Soon after his experience with the Russian rifts, he began to have hyper-detailed dreams of events he had never encountered in his life, often with people who looked very different to how they did now. Normal lucid dreaming techniques didn't allow him to break out of these dreams, and they haven't quietened down.
War History: James was a military sapper for his fellow rifters during the war. With his ability and extremely fine control of gravity, he was capable of moving obstacles, erecting barricades and fortifications, and demolishing enemy vehicles and fortifications with ease. He doesn't really like to talk about his experiences in the war any more hover. They bring back too many bad memories.
Alliance: Unusually, James is welcome both in the Russian and English zones. His dual nationality, experience in the war, and rift abilities mean that even though some may grumble, most people are fine with him.
Abilities
Rift: Russian
Abilities: Precise and extreme gravity control, to the point where he can lift up steel girders and bend them to a 90 degree angle. He also has extremley detailed dreams that reveal facts either from the past, that he had no way of knowing, or from the future. These are accurate and non-malleable (so he cannot change them.)
Side effects: His dreams often leave him without a refreshing sleep- and he's been plagued with symptoms of chronic insomnia. A lot of his dreams aren't particularly pleasant either.
Personality:
Mission: James is going to end up on top. He doesn't have abilities that are as immediately useful, but his knowledge of engineering from the war, and ability to do the work of cranes on his own, means that he's pretty sure he can make something out of what he's been left with.
Weaknesses: Plagued by fatigue and with some symptoms of PTSD, James is no longer a fighter at heart. He tries to forget the year he spent on the frontlines, and deputises combat duties to other people. Not to say he's not good in a scrap, he just hates to be in one.
Strengths and Talents: James is still an excellent physicist and his year as a sapper has given him quite the experience in engineering. He's also pretty good at negotiating.
Fears: Being crushed. He's done it to others, multiple times. He doesn't want it to happen to him.
Steven Mercer
Basic Traits
Quote: "Oh, great. Just f***ing great."
Height: 5'8"
Age: 27
Appearance:
Ethnicity: American
Background
History: After Vladimir Putin stopped getting elected and Russia's laws were relaxed, travel became much easier. Many people flocked to Moscow and St. Petersburg to see the various historical locations. One of these such people is Steven. He had always wanted to go to Russia, but the arduous process made things incredibly hard to go, but since the laws are looser, hey, why not go?
Rift History: He had just stepped outside the hotel on his way to dinner when the sky lit up. People all around him freaked out and rubbing their eyes. "This must be a hallucination," they thought but not so. The last thing Steven felt was a pleasant heat, like being in a warm bed before passing out and hitting the ground with a whump. When he woke up, he was in a hospital. A doctor came out and told him in very broken English that he was found passed out. He was tested for a concussion and found he was fine, charged a fee, and sent on his way.
War History: When the war broke out, Steven was very fast in signing up for the army.
He went through boot camp and got sent to the war front. During the war, he found that if he threw a grenade, his targets always lagged behind a bit and more always got caught in the blast. In one battle, a missile was heading for him and his group. This is it, he thought. This is where I die. He threw his arms up in a futile attempt to protect himself and closed his eyes. The explosion came but the blast didn't. He opened his eyes and saw a bubble surrounding him and his squad and a blast very much evident, shown by the black marks coming out from the contact point.
Alliance: After the war, (I went back to New York) he sought out his cousin Nigel in the Stormlands. He found him and set up shop right on the other side of the border in the TemporalZone, content to live out his life. He experimented and figured out how exactly to trigger his powers.
Abilities
Rift: Russian
Abilities: Light shield, Grav-star (creates small gravity well, sucking in everything around it in a 5 ft radius)
Side effects: Light shield takes lots of energy to recharge, and he does this by being outside. Even at peak hours, this is a very long process.
Personality:
Sarcastic
Mission: Just wants to have a peaceful life
Weaknesses: Abilities take a lot of energy
Strengths and Talents: Very good marksman and speaks somewhat Russian
Fears: Getting sucked into his own gravity wells, spiders
Character Name: Manya Sannikov
Basic Traits
Quote: I'm not going to try to sell you this. I don't have to. If you want power, I'm the only fucking woman in Britain who can give you it consistently.
Height: Four foot eleven. Do not comment on her height.
Age: 24
Ethnicity: Tartar Russian. Obvious Chinese influences.
Background
History: The trip to Moscow wasn't supposed to be anything unusual for them. When the rift opened up however, everything changed.
She wasn't very old, but she knew that this absolutely wasn't normal, and that it probably wasn't good either. Her parents were horrified however, and the entire family went back to their house the next day, cutting their visit short by several weeks. Not that she cared that much. Moscow was a boring place, especially if you weren't interested in sightseeing.

Moscow was a boring place, especially if you weren't interested in sightseeing.
Rift History: She discovered her abilities when she accidentally blew up a car- having changed all of the electrical energy within it to suddenly change into chemical energy. Surprisngly, in the aftermath, she found herself completley naked thanks to the explosion,
but otherwise unharmed. She later figured out the full extend of her powers.
but otherwise unharmed. She later figured out the full extend of her powers.
War History: A high functioning sociopath in the greatest conflict mankind has seen? Manya made a fucking killing. Both literally and economically. Her abilities were perfect on the frontline, where she could keep soldiers on their feet, kill enemy soldiers, destroy vehicles, and generally be a terror. When she was injured in the leg, she went back to England, where she realised that the country was depserately in need of a war economy. Whilst she couldn't cover the entire system, she quickly took over most energy producing factories,
and has been the one that keeps the lights in the Russian sector and the Tradezone on.
and has been the one that keeps the lights in the Russian sector and the Tradezone on.
Alliance: A tradezoner, however one with heavy Russian bias.
Abilities
Rift: Russia
Abilities: Energy manipulation. Whenever she touches an object, she can 'feel' the energy instictivley within it. She can pull this power out, change it into another form of energy, or expell it into a diffeent source. The only way she can do this without touching is by interacting with an energy stream- for example if she stood between two tesla coils without touching them, she could alter the energy through the lightning.
Energy Absorbtion: She can store energy within herself. There are no side effects when doing this, although storing too much energy will cause it to dangerously 'vent,' often injuring or damaging objects or people around her.
Energy Immunity: This a side effect of her power. She's immune to the damaging effects of extreme heat (but not extreme cold,) and nuclear radiation. Neither effect her, although fire will still char her skin.

Side effects: Apart from the aformentioned 'venting,' none.
Personality:
Mission: She's going to rule the tradezones. This is hers. And if a few people die? So what.
Weaknesses: Are you questioning her?
Strengths and Talents: She's a talented businesswoman, and few can deny that. Her overall ethics are... Questionable,
she has to say.
she has to say.
Fears: Drowning. The only time she's truly felt afraid in her life was when she was caught in the British Flood.
Other: She's a high-functioning sociopath. Little else needs to be said.
Character Name: Nastasya Volcov
Basic Traits
Quote: "Держи карман шире." (Meaning, don't bite off more than you can chew.)
Height: 5'6"
Age: 25
Appearance: Nastasya has jet black hair that comes down to her waist. Her face is feminine but very stern as she rarely smiles. She has piercing green eyes and is slim but has some muscle tone. She wears a scarf that can be brought up to wrap around her mouth and nose or over her head as a hood. She often wears a slim-fit tank top sometimes underneath a jacket, when needed. Her jeans are ripped and worn in many places but still offer enough coverage. She wears combat boots that come up just below mid-calf.
Overall she is very pale and feminine, yet tough. Her style is that of comfort and necessity.
Ethnicity: Full-blooded Russian
Background
History: Nastasya was born and raised in Russia to a normal, lower-middle class family. She was brought up to hide strong emotions, as her family did. She had a fairly normal childhood, although a bit of a loner. She made few friends here and there, but her tendency to come off as bland or boring kept them from sticking around for too long.
She has a younger sister, Nadya, whom she felt fiercely protective over when she was young. As she grew older, Nadya made it clear that she could hold her own, but Nastaya couldn't help but feel like she needed protecting.
She got a job early on in her life, as hard work was of utmost importance to her family. As a teenager, she worked doing menial labor picking up odd jobs here and there. Most of the work she chose did not involve much human interaction as she had little charm to offer.
Rift History: Nastaya was working in the city when the rift first opened. She didn't think much of it at first, as many strange things have been known to happen in Russia. However, after a few months of little interest, Nastaya found herself in strange situations she couldn't explain. She was lying in bed one night when she suddenly felt herself sinking into the bed itself, as if it was barely there. As she began to realize what was happening, she started to panic, not know what was happening. As her heart raced, the bed seemed to completely disintegrate from under her, though she could still clearly see it. She ended up on the floor looking up at her once again solid bed. A little shaken up, but unable to explain what had happened, she simply crawled out from under it and laid back down.
Chocking her previous experience to some vivid nightmare, she went on about her daily life. These strange experiences starting becoming more frequent, however, and she could no longer ignore them. She would sometimes sink into the back of chairs or other furniture, sometimes find that things that were supposed to be malleable, weren't and later, she began phasing through objects as if they were merely air.
War History: Hearing about other people with abilities made Nastaya begin to realize she was part of something. Her family lived far enough away from the rift that none of them were affected. As violence began to break out and news of The Order spread, all of Nastasya's pent up emotion began to surface. Upon hearing of a particularly gory death of a peaceful Rifter she had known, Nastaya lost it. She burst through her small home, causing a shockwave of power to run through the infrastructure. The house collapsed behind her as the density of each wall wavered, causing the roof to cave in. In shock and regret, Nastaya decided to run away, as far away as she could.
She was eventually found by The Order. She fought as hard as she could against them but she was no match against their sheer force. She hated them with all her being but there was nothing she could do. She was contained in a prison-like chamber as the war raged on. She was constantly monitored and had to undergo strange tests by scientists in lab coats.
After the truce, however, she was offered a deal. As much as she hated The Order, she accepted to once again have some form of freedom.
Alliance: Nastaya has a fragile alliance with her people in the Temporalzone, as that was were she was naturally drawn. However, she has considered venturing to the Wastelands, having heard it is a place of rebellion.
Abilities
Rift: The Russian Rift
Abilities: Control of Density of herself and inanimate objects
Side effects: As with any physical activity, using her powers is draining. She has developed enough stamina to hold out in a fight or to casually use her powers throughout the day, but trying to do too much takes it's toll.
There is also the possibility of injuring herself or others if she isn't careful. If she isn't able to maintain her density while phasing through an object and suddenly become solid again, she could potentially cut herself in half.
Personality:
Mission: For the most part, Nastaya is just trying to get by in this strange country. Underneath the surface, however, she has a deep hatred for The Order. She would love to one day take them out, but she knows that her powers are not strong enough to do it on her own. That coupled with her poor social abilities has caused a great deal of strife as she doesn't like to work with others.
Weaknesses: While able to hold her own in a fight, Nastasya is not all that physically strong. If she has worn herself out, it is very easy to get the upper hand in a fight.
Her social skill are also something she struggles with. Deep down, she wants to find someone who will accept her but she finds it almost impossible to express that to anyone. Her knee-jerk reaction is to almost always push people away.
She also has a great deal of guilt from collapsing her family's home. She assumed she killed them all in her fit of anger, but she has never bothered to find out for sure.
Strengths and Talents: She relies heavily on her powers in fights, both to dodge attacks (through making herself less dense, causing attacks to phase right through her) as well as to trap opponents (sometimes causing the ground that they stand on to swallow them whole).
She has incredible resilience to physical pain.
Fears: Her biggest fear is of losing control. She is also afraid of being alone forever but she would never admit it.
Name
Milo Rasha.
Age
Twenty five, (appears no older than seventeen.)
Speech Color
DeepPink.
Character Alignment
Chaotic Good
Milo does not shy away from violent solutions, but does attempt to avoid more permanent approaches. He would use a lethal weapon, but would refrain from killing, unless such an action in forced.
Character Personality
Jaded, tired and fed up. Milo lived through the war, he participated in it. He battled the humans, he battled other Rifters when differences came to tear groups apart, and he struggled to remain alive through the strife. Though this young man appears rugged to a point, and less than friendly at a glance, Milo keeps a soft heart within the all too jaded exterior. Though he appears tired of life, and those who would inhabit it, Milo is the first to act, when assistance is needed. Although, with a notable amount of reluctance. One could say that his desires, and his moral compass don't always agree, with one another.
Milo does not speak, much. He's a man of action, as you'd say. Forced into the war at its arrival, Milo found himself armed with a pistol and nothing more than lofty ideals. He has seen many an ally, and friends, meet their end in response to the horrific event. Though it has drawn him somewhat more reclusive, Milo holds those he consider close, tightly. It is no mystery, as to why the young man is protective of his friends, as few as they might be.
Calm and collected, it is quite difficult to rock Milo from his feet. Though the situation might grow dire, he keeps a leveled head and attempts to find a logical solution to whatever issue has come to curse current events. Milo knows not to gather enemies, and stays under the radar as much as he can. The world of Rifters is a dangerous place, and unwanted attention can get you unwanted problems.
Contrary to first impressions, Milo is quite the cuddly individual once you get to know him. He enjoys a gentle hug, and the company of others. Though he comes off as a hardened soldier at times, there is much more to his being than that shell would dare to show.
Appearance
Milo stands at a meager five and a half feet, weighing ninety pounds, something considered quite a disadvantage in brawn and strength. He doesn't appear to possess many visible muscles either, his limbs rather thin and slender. With a scrawny frame, Milo would clearly be labeled as harmless by most, a set of ribs easily visible beneath his skin. One can draw the obvious conclusion that the young man isn't fit for melee endeavors.
The thick black hair atop his head falls down to the base of his neck along with bangs covering his eyes unless kept out of the way with either a bandanna, headband or toboggan. A pair of curious brown eyes are constantly kept on the lookout, as if waiting for an impending ambush. In truth, Milo simply prefers to keep his surroundings in check. Needless to say, he hates surprises as long as he's not the one giving them. An expression of indifference or boredom are common sights upon this boy, appearing unamused but not necessarily dissatisfied.
One will spot more than one combat scar upon his exposed skin, each one healed with a renaming mark. It is safe to assume that they found home on his frame during the devastating war, which plagued the world. A pair of black cargo pants reach down to his ankles where they are slightly folded up and a black hoodie often find home atop his torso. Due to his small size, Milo often wears over sized shirts but he has gotten used to the nuisance. His hands always find home in a pair of fingerless leather gloves which allows for a better grip and would be considered stylish by his standards.
Having the frame of a seventeen-year-old teenager, one might not expect too much from Milo. His mutation came to halt his development for good, and bad, but it also leaves the young man with less physical strength than most within his circle of acquaintances. Indeed, while adept in both combat and acrobatic maneuvers, Milo always has to rely on finesse and grace in fights. Marksmanship is a skill he is incredibly familiar with but it leaves melee endeavors a less than mastered skill. He would display immense difficulties overpowering opponents with fists alone and finds himself at a disadvantage overall.
Lacking in imagination, Milo feels most at home in black clothing as well as black canvas shoes. He never did consider himself fashionable in any way. The olive tint to his skin would easily dot his ethnical home somewhere in the middle east and thick hair hugs his face quite nicely.
Height
Five feet, and three inches.
Weight
Ninety pounds.
Occupation
Freelancer, Mercenary.
Ethnicity
Middle Eastern. Parents immigrated to Russia at a rather young age.
Rift
Russian.

Fluent in Arabic, English and Russian.
Mission
Milo takes every day as it comes. He tries not to think about the future, too much. He claims to be a simple, young man, with a simple life.
Alliance
Milo is a mercenary, acting as bodyguard for whoever pays the most.
Equipment, and Weapon
Milo travels light. He keeps a pistol holstered in a shoulder holster, and maintains a rifle for his job as a guard, whenever he is hired for such a position.
Origin Info
Milo grew up as the son of a police officer, and a soldier. It was not an unexpected path for this high school dropout to end up in the army. Milo lived a rather simple life, though found himself with the same issue most teenagers face during those dreaded years. He did not feel like he fit in, anywhere. School felt wrong, for him. Not only did he have a difficult time getting along with the other students, but he often found himself skipping classes, and claimed that his lack of interest was enough to prevent any level of information from reaching his ears.
It was at this point, where Milo's father claimed that he either spends his time studying, or he joins the army, like his father had done, before him. For most perhaps, the choice seemed easy. Going to school was, of course, the easy option. For Milo however, joining his father's side in the force was the first thing which had truly caught his interest.
The life of a soldier is nothing to brag about. But, it works. Though Milo was small for his, impressively so, he managed his way through the assignments with impressive results. One claims that a strong power of will, can get you far. Milo was more than willing to put that to the test.
Rift History
Still a private in training in the army, Milo was met head on by the opening of the Rifts. A rather peculiar ability came to show itself during his daily exercises, and luckily, it was not an ability which was easily visible, for others. Despite an initial freak out, the young soldier was able to, away from prying eyes, practice this newfound ability until he could eventually use it at will.
War History
It was at this point where Milo's loyalties were truly put to the test. Seeing how his kind was treated, and being on the forefront of a militaristic response to the rise of Rifters, Milo who had now graduated to a fully fledged soldier on the field, was immediately torn between the duties he had been taught, and the very right to exist. Fighting based on the orders which had been issued, the young soldier eventually came to defect from the army. He could not fight the Rifters, not his own people. No, he had to join them. However, moving to Britain during the war, Milo lost contact with his parents, only to learn that both had passed away as a casualty of war.
Short Explanation
The ability to replicate any inanimate object within a frame of limitations. The ability also allows for a passive adjustment to the user's frame which is described below. Each replica created by Milo is in all intents and purposes the real thing, meaning it's an exact copy. After an item comes in contact with his skin, a replica will build itself into existence as if building blocks appearing on top of each other until the item is fully created. The process begins from where the item was touched and is nearly instantaneous. It is also worth noting that the replica will appear in the same hand Milo used to touch the item in question.
Active Ability (Limitations)
Contact
Milo's skin needs to come in physical contact with the item he intends to replicate, preferably with his fingers.
Weight
The item cannot weigh more than two pounds.
Quantity
Milo can replicate up to three items. A fourth would replace the first. As long as the item in question doesn't weigh over two pounds, Milo can replicate everything contained within a single unit.
Supernatural Items
While supernatural effects can be replicated along with the item, these effects cannot be magical in any way. Milo cannot replicate magic.
Substance
The only way for Milo to replicate something which isn't solid is if it's contained within something solid.
Biological Material
Milo cannot replicate anything which isn't inanimate. Biological material is beyond his ability.
Time
Each replica is permanent until Milo allows it to disappear or until another replaces it. Due to this, it is impossible to trace Milo's bullets.
Passive Ability
Agelessness
Milo's cells do not split, but rather they replicate. A cell deteriorates every time it splits which in turn causes ageing. At twenty years old, Milo's powers matured and as such, his cells stopped splitting and started replicating which in turn halted his ageing entirely.
Combat Type
Marksman.
Mastered Combat Traits
+Firearms
When it comes to ranged weaponry, Milo is incredibly formidable.
+Evasiveness
Milo is small, and lacks much in terms of strength. He is well versed in the arts of dodging attacks.
+Acrobatics
The ability to quickly, and fluidly move between, over and through obstacles.
+Stealth
The ability to move silently, remaining unseen with weightless footsteps.
Negative Traits
-Physical Defense
Being a mutant doesn't change the fact that Milo is humanoid. Anything which would kill a normal human would kill Milo.
-Martial Prowess
Relying on his ranged combat has neglected muscle training and as such leaves Milo unsuited for melee endeavors.
-Power Limitations
While being a mutant, Milo's powers are anything but explosive or even harmful on their own. Rather, Milo's powers require some kind of weaponry to be efficient in combat.
-Social Skills
As would be expected from someone with Milo's background, the boy seriously lacks in social charisma and skill. Even though his appearance suggests a social aspect, it is clear that his persuasive skills lie entirely in physical looks.

Character Name: Maria Oliviera
Basic Traits
Quote: Oh, sorry... I don't mean to scare you... Or do I?
Height: From top-to-tail, close to nine foot. Normally stands at around 6.
Age: 18
Appearance: From just below her waist-up, she looks like a normal person. She has dark black hair that reaches down to below the small of her back, a pair of dark green eyes, and tanned, latin skin. She would almost be considered a bombshell, if not for the fact that below her waist is a snake's tail- the colouration like that of a python or pit viper. When she opens her mouth, twin fangs are clearly visible, and they sometimes peek out over her bottom lip. Because of her unique anatomy, she wears no trousers,
skirts, or really anything else, instead having custom-made decency coverings, and then wearing clothes for her top half as normal.
skirts, or really anything else, instead having custom-made decency coverings, and then wearing clothes for her top half as normal.
Ethnicity: Brazilian
Background
History: She was only nine before the rift opened, so she doesn't really remember that much. Her family lived in the Favelas of Rio De Janeiro, and she was no stranger to violence, even at a young age, but she never really considered that there might be outs. At least, not until...
Rift History:The rift opened almost directly above her house. At first, nothing happened, and everything went on as normal.
It was only when she went to a doctor thanks to a burning sensation in her leg, just as the first of the Brazilian mutations were being discovered, that she began to be concerned. As there was no way to judge what she would become, she was kept at the doctors for quite some time, until the transformation had completed.
She was initially taken to a government institution, where she learned of her second set of abilities, including lethal venom. Not only was it a fast acting neurotic, but she could also 'milk' herself to spit the venom, and had additional sensory fields. She could now sense heat signatures, agitated electrons, could 'taste' smells like other snakes, and her skin had a crude form of camouflage, allowing it to blend in with her scales. After leaving almost the entire facility dead, she fled to England at the tender age of 12.

she has seen what war does.
After the conflict finished, she assist with the finding of people in the wreckage of England, before she was picked up by Manya when she was fourteen.

Now only has Marcia been granted the tail of a snake from just below her waist down, allowing her to move much faster over difficult terrain, and fit into locations that a human could never dream of, she has also 'inherited' many other abiltiies from venemous snakes.
Her tongue is forked, and allows her to 'taste' smells, allowing for her to pinpoint where certain smells come from. Her canine teeth have also elongated and become more curved, becoming a pair of fangs that have the hypodermic structure that snake fangs have. She can use these fangs to inject a powerful neurotoxin, roughly as strong as that of a pit viper, into her victims, or 'milk' her own fangs in order to spit this venom. Lastly, her eyes have been permanently modified. Whilst they look normal, they actually allow her not only to see thermally,
but also agitated electrons, essentially letting her see electronic devices that are on.

Weaknesses: See 'fears'
Strengths and Talents: Most of her natural talents were only enhanced by her rift powers.
Fears:She is paralysed by anything to do with traditional doctors. Don't even show her a needle.
Character Name: Alex ‘Twilight’ Genos
Basic Traits
Quote: “It’s not that I don’t like you. It’s just that people are naturally un-loveable idiots.”
Height: 6’0”
Age: 28
Appearance: Alex, or The Twilight as all know him, is somewhat of an enigma. When one takes him in there is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that he simply shouldn’t be that impressive. His taller figure isn’t filled with any particularly large amount of muscle, his arms appear to be lanky and somewhat awkwardly long, and his posture seems fairly relaxed and uncaring at all times. Despite this none can deny that there is something incredibly… Unsettling, about this man.
It all starts with his eyes. They have no pupils, no color, nothing but a dark black that has one barely visible crimson dot in the middle of it that acts as the only way to tell exactly what direction he’s looking. His face is long and gaunt, like someone who’s lived their life for too long and simply seen too much in their time. Every inch of his skin is pale as a vampire, making him appear as if the sun has never truly glowed upon his skin and his hair is only there to contrast it as it shines black as the night with no moon. That’s where the human part ends and everything else begins.
All along his arms are black feathers which ruffle with a ghostly sound in every move he makes. The further down his arm you go, the more feathers there are until you reach his hands. Gone are any traces of human and instead you’re only met with gnarled and terrifying looking fingers that taper down into deadly 4-inch talons that look as if they could shred straight through metal if he tried hard enough. The largest feature anyone notices however are the ones on his back. Massive, powerful, almost majestic black wings stretch from his shoulders outwards until they cover a massive expanse of area. Through ways no one seems to understand, these wings are able to fold upon themselves until he can somewhat subtly stuff them under his long coat, however it’s clear to anyone who’s looking even remotely closely that he’s hiding something underneath. All who have seen him say only one thing: he looks like a creature out of a gothic novel, or perhaps an old horror masterpiece. Either way, even among Rifters, this man is not natural.

Ethnicity: Asian/American
Background
History:Alex was always an odd fellow. Even as a child he was somewhat of a loner, and chose to ignore his peers rather than make any true friends. He didn’t mind this either, it wasn’t like he hated everyone else. Instead he simply enjoyed reading books and learning so that one day he could hopefully follow in his father's footsteps and become a translator for Ambassadors. It was always his dream to travel, and one day he finally got the opportunity. He and his family had planned a trip towards the Netherlands however they never reached their destination due to a tragedy. After a horrific crash, Alex lost both his parents and became severely paralyzed from the waist down, trapping him in a wheelchair. From this moment on, Alex considered his life cruel, and he refused to let it consume him. He would follow in his parents footsteps, and he would make his father proud.
Rift History: Alex had finally begun to achieve his dream when the first Rift opened. His reputation as a translator and local genius was flourishing quickly, granting him a good deal of satisfaction. When the Rift above Russia opened, he was ushered over with many of the American scientists as their translator for the occasion. Truly, he was thrilled at the chance to prove himself in the time of excitement. When he reached the Rift, he did his job well, and was commended. For him it was the happiest moment of his life… However it wasn’t to last.
War History: Alex, unlike most, knew within only a week or two that something was horribly, horribly wrong. He was having vivid nightmares, horrific thoughts, and murderous tendencies. Something within him was changing and he knew it. One night he had a dream that was far more vivid than the rest of an absolute massacre happening far off. When he woke up he had an entirely undeniable urge to follow and so follow it he did. The next morning he bought a ticket and traveled to a distant city within Brazil for no other reason than the fact that he felt called to it. Once he reached the city, he was at a loss for why he was there… Until a week later, when the second Rift appeared. He knew somehow this was connected to his dream however he never figured out why until a long, long time later when the Rift wars began to truly take place. Since he still had an undeniably inexplicable calling he never left that city and had even made a life there, until one day he witnessed why he had been urged so powerfully to stay. A Titan gained their abilities, and began to wreak havoc on the city… The first Titan the world ever saw. He was terrified and fascinated by this occurrence and realized the reason he had been called to here was because of the death. There was so much death, everywhere, and he could feel it in the air. Every person the beast killed, he predicted with ease long before they were slaughtered and for some reason despite the carnage never once did he feel that he himself was in danger. Only two days later he gained his own abilities and realized he himself was a Titan as he rose from his wheelchair, his legs now strong and powerful. A Titan which, unlike the rest, still had something that made him far more dangerous: his brain intact. Using this he became a terrifying influence in the war and because of his wings was named “The Angel of Death’. This name was changed however after one horrific battle which nearly lost the Order the war called ‘The Battle at Twilight’. When the Rifters were losing a fight and just as the light of twilight appeared Alex arrived in the light of the horizon, turning the battle by his lonesome. People described him as a demon of unstoppable strength as he attacked while letting out a terrifying shriek. He came upon the enemies with a bloody vengeance that killed an uncountable amount of soldiers, and ever since then, he would be called The Angel of Twilight.
Alliance:The Hybrids. Many will deny it, but Twilight is the closest the Wildlands have to a ruler.
Abilities
Rift: Russian and Brazil
Abilities: Twilight is considered the only Rifter to have gained abilities from two separate Rifts, making him a terrifying force to be reckoned with. The Russian Rift did not give him as many abilities as most however he certainly gained two: Twilight is able to tell when someone is close to death by seeing their future, and he has the ability to temporarily (and in some unique cases, permanently) change people's body chemistry to make them his own instruments of war. This means, as long as he is allowed a large portion of time with a Rifter (somewhere around an hour to a day depending on who they are), Twilight can grant what he calls a ‘gift’ to these people. He then alters their bodies to be faster, stronger, and deadlier as well as granting them greater focus which can allow their powers to be much more potent.
Besides this, he is granted the abilities all Titans are given. He has enough strength to throw incredibly heavy objects and withstand a terrifying amount of force. He’s impossibly fast, almost faster than the regular eye can see, and his talons are razor sharp. His wings do indeed allow him the ability to fly however only for a short amount of time, and his vision is incredibly powerful thanks to his bird-like eyes. Like all Titans, it’s considered impossible to kill him by normal means (such as physical wounds from weapons), due to his ability to regenerate from certainly fatal wounds. During the wars he proved his strength when fighting the Chimera himself, as he battled the Titan to what some say is a standstill. Still many have noted that if this were the case, the Chimera would not roam the world as he does today.

Side effects: With powers so incredible, there must be downsides. Twilight, like all Titans, can only be as strong and as fast as his energy allows. This means he must always have a strong source of food and water at hand which means that he is forced to rely on the Britain Rifters and keep on good terms with them. Beyond this, his vision can be used against him if he is forced to look into a bright light, and while it’s incredibly difficult to injure him he can still feel pain.
His ability to change people is incredibly limiting as well. Not only does it take a long time, it proves to be fatal on nearly all of his victims after the first few days. Only a select few have ever survived, however they are thrown into a blood lust whenever they feel they are threatened, making this much more of a curse than a blessing as he claims.

Personality:
Mission: Twilight believes that the War was the greatest thing to ever happen to the world. From the way he sees it, all of the death and destruction only did one thing: create a better place. He knows the Order is something incredible, as it unified the world under one name in the prospect of peace which had never before been done. Not only this, it also was able to be used in order to create an entire new nation for Rifters in no less than a year, yet another impossible task. Because of this Twilight sees war as a catalyst for change, and thinks a new war will create an even better place for himself, and everyone else.
Weaknesses: Twilight is an egotistical maniac, and he knows it. Despite this it still tends to be his greatest downfall. He considers himself to be the most powerful Rifter there is, and even though he will never admit it there's no doubt that because he is a Titan, his brain is constantly being warped into something twisted. He thinks himself unbeatable and unkillable, and therefore takes what he claims are ‘calculated’ risks that will one day bring him down.
He also has an intense aversion to pain due to him rarely ever feeling it because his body is, as he calls it, ‘unbreakable’.
He also has an intense aversion to pain due to him rarely ever feeling it because his body is, as he calls it, ‘unbreakable’.
Strengths and Talents: Despite everything Twilight is still incredibly intelligent. He speaks 6 different languages fluently, understands economics better than most, and has trained himself in some impressive hand to hand fighting in the 8 years since the war. Not only this but he has practiced a good deal of sword play so that when one day a new war breaks out, he can further embrace his image as an Angel of Death.
Fears: Twilight fears himself. He knows he’s become, and is still becoming, a monster. Despite this he can’t help himself and is watching himself spiral into further madness. Somewhere deep down he knows what he’s doing is wrong, but for him it’s too late to go back.
Character Name: Ricardo Viela
Basic Traits
Quote: "This place isn’t a lot, but it’s our home. We either build it, or let it destroy us."
Height: 5'9"
Age:25
Appearance: Ricardo is a very attractive man, and none can deny this. Something about him simply exudes a rugged charm that’s only amplified by the fact that he doesn’t seem to realize others find him attractive. His skin is the perfect bronze tan of someone who either spends too much time in the sun, or in Ricardo’s case simply has the latin genes within him to keep his skin at the perfect tone. His eyes glow a bright green that share a warmth in them to whoever he looks at, and his smile always seems to carry a genuine aura about it. Without fail his face is always covered with a soft layer of hair, making a rather well kept beard that only adds to his rugged persona.
Beyond this, he always seems to wear whatever is appropriate for the time and thus can’t really be identified by clothing alone. If he needs a jacket, a jacket shall be worn and if he needs a basic t-shirt, the same logic is applied. The only truly unique feature about him is the one white streak of hair that travels through his otherwise chocolate brown color, and when anyone asks why this is he simply claims it was a side effect of the Rift.

Ethnicity: English/Latin
Background
History: Ricardo doesn’t have a particularly interesting history compared to most. He lived a simple and happy life with his family in Birmingham, with no true desires to ever leave. Yes he had plans to go get his own flat someday, and he worked a steady job and studied hard but he truly didn’t have any major aspirations in life. He lived with his father, his mother, and his brother Daniel. Nothing ever changed. One day however, that was all forced to an end quite suddenly.
Rift History:Ricardo remembered when the Rifts opened, and he had only been somewhat fascinated by them. Yes they seemed important however they were so far off he could hardly even bring himself to truly care. It just seemed like something that would never affect his life… That was until a Rift opened above his very home. From that moment on his entire life would change in ways he would never understand, and would forever look back on with bitterness and resentment..
War History: Ricardo wanted to remain nothing more than a pacifist. The war, to him, was nothing but barbaric and the ultimate display of every one of humanities flaws. All these people had gained extraordinary abilities and watching them squander them by fighting each other was nothing but disgusting to him. His brother on the other hand, had far more grand ideas. As he watched the Rifters become hunted down one by one Daniel only grew angrier, and angrier, until he despised his brother for being so apathetic. Still he made no move until something caused him to snap: the British government took their parents away because they had found that they were Rifters. When this happened Daniel went off the rails and proceeded to create an act that would forever change the world: he used his abilities to take an entire news station hostage so he could send out a video which would then go viral across the world: he called the Rifters to arms. To fight. To create an alliance to fight back against the injustice. And with this simple call to arms, a war was started. This war caused Ricardo to forever hold a deep, burning anger towards his brother which to this day he has never forgiven. When Britain itself was flooded, Ricardo held Daniel personally responsible. Even after Daniel created a ceasefire he never forgave his brother, and hopes to never see him again.
Alliance: Daniel allies himself with the Stormlands, however he claims to be a friend of all territories.
Abilities
Rift: The Britain Rift
Abilities: Ricardo shares abilities very similar to his brother. While Daniel can control lightning and wind however, Ricardo leans more towards the control of rainfall and water. Many Rifters have these abilities, however the reason Daniel and Ricardo remain unique is because while they may be able to control these on a smaller scale, they are powerful enough that if they concentrate they can create entire tornados and hurricanes of incredible magnitude. Because of this Ricardo doesn’t have specific control of water, such as drawing out small portions of it, but instead can move it in massive ways such as creating a large wave within the ocean.
Side effects: Ricardo has very little side effects to his abilities. He can use them with little fatigue, and often can even enact them without even moving his body and instead simply thinking about the act. The largest issue he has with his powers is the more he manipulates the weather, the more he causes great chaos within the eco-sphere of the earth. Because of this he must refrain from using them on a large scale, or else risk accidentally creating a tornado in an area entirely unintended.
Personality:
Mission: Ricardo now only lives to rebuild the Riftlands and make up for his brothers mistakes. Because he destroyed everything, Ricardo must rebuild it and maintain a sense of order in the Riftlands so that all may live peacefully in the world his brother has forced upon them.
Weaknesses: Ricardo’s greatest weakness is his sense of honor. He lives by a strict code, and because of this the world comes against him. He knows there are several trying to take over the Riftlands for their own nefarious needs, and he only hopes he is strong enough to stop them and to maintain peace in the world.
Strengths and Talents: Ricardo is a natural-born leader and protector. Those of the Stormlands trust him to use his influence in a trustworthy and un-biased manner. This is his largest skill, and he relies upon this even beyond his own incredibly powerful abilities. He’s a man of the people and finds it easy to be liked..
Fears: Ricardo only fears what has already come to pass. His brother sparked the world into a powerful explosion that killed an uncountable amount. Now, he has only to look forwards to fixing that mistake.
He also doesn’t like bugs.

In Depth Information
Appearance
Let us start from the top, moving our gaze towards Aiden's hair. As it is, Aiden possesses a mop of thick, black hair which proceeds down the left side in a fringe of unkempt streaks. The strands of his hair are rather silky, and incredibly smooth to the touch. Some people have called it luscious, but Aiden would insist that they are overdoing it.
A set of large, black eyes rest above his nose peering forward with a level of disinterest which would draw him appearing bored, and less than amused. Is it a resting bitch face? Not truly, but rather he can appear melancholy most times, even though such dark emotions are far from clouding his mind.
As for facial hair, Aiden seems to have been spared most of its demands, calling for any level of bladed contact.
Speaking of his skin, Aiden is rather pale. It is however safe to say, that it runs in the family. Another thing that appears prevalent within the Creeds would be their slight frames. Aiden stands at a meager five feet, and three inches at sixteen years of age, with a slight ninety pounds to carry him. He is incredibly slender, to the point of scrawniness where one would clearly see those ribs if his shirt appears elsewhere than on his torso.
As a person who has been active throughout his life, the marks of experience make their way across his exposed frame in the form of smaller scars, and bruises. Aiden, having spent a lot of time in the forest and similar locales, has since an age back been closely acquainted to pebble covered grounds, stones and dirt roads. One should of course mention the myriad of trees he has climbed since an ever-younger body allowed.
Every person possesses a scent. Some people appear to blanket themselves in it strongly, enough so for other humans to notice, and others are incredibly subtle. Aiden smells of forest leaves, and nature's touch more often, than not. It is considered rather harmonic, rather serene, and most of all, quite pleasant. Rather fitting, Aiden has a pair of rather effeminate hands, his skin soft and gentle.
Aiden's voice is light, and somewhat raspy to the ear. Given how he is the quieter type, he might just not be used to running his mouth for a long amount of time.
Finally, we'll finish with Aiden's choice of attire. Comfort is the word that comes to mind, comfort and affordable accommodations. A notable feature would perhaps be the tired and mellow appearance Aiden gives off, lacking in sleep and any healthy level of nourishment.
Height
Five feet, three inches.
Weight

Ethnicity
British/Russian.
Rift

Personality
Withdrawn, reserved and fidgety might be three words one would use to describe this young man. Words leave his lips at the behest of need, rather than comfort or social pursuits. Aiden is quite clearly plagued by haunting spirits within his own mind and it is apparent upon his frame. Aiden can come off as apathetic and reluctant towards company, but this isn't the case. Indeed, Aiden enjoys company more so than he lets off. It offers some form of comfort in the face of his inner demons, so to speak.
Opposed to the archetype, Aiden is not in opposition to physical signs of affection. He wouldn't recoil in the face of an embrace, and he doesn't push others away.
Aiden is a closed book, keeping most of his thoughts to himself though offers the opportunity to flip those pages for a friend. The young man is often beneath the crushing voices of his inner plagues, the never ending sounds of whispering demons nestled within his mind. Due to this, Aiden might be difficult to interact with, but given enough time, one would lay eyes upon quite a sweet young man.
Whether an attempt to escape his own plight, or a desire to do good, Aiden enjoys helping others to the best of his ability. Though, this pursuit if often hindered by the fact that many choose to avoid a mental patient.
Mission
Aiden's main drive is to find his place, to confront his demons. Plagued by ghosts of the past, and voices within his mind, the boy is haplessly lost, in a pursuit he has yet to learn.
Clothing
Aiden wears simple clothing consisting of cargo pants, t-shirts and hoodies. Upon his feet, he wears typical canvas shoes, with all of his clothing coming off a tad too baggy for his slender form. Sleeves tend to hang down his bony fingers, and his pants require belts to stay up.
Weaponry
Aiden does not have access to weaponry.
Equipment
Aiden always wears a shoulder bag where he keeps a small pencil case, and a sketch book.
Spiritual Information
Beliefs
The concept of faith was lost to Aiden some time ago.
Religious Trinkets
None.
Feats
Power
Aiden possesses a peculiar ability to cause necrosis in material tissue. With this power, the young man can act much like a virus, or infestation, where he can infect an individual or object with a withering plague. This causes the victim to suffer an effect similar to that of necrosis where both organic, and inorganic tissue withers, ages and rots. This ability is clearly visible upon use, where a black, and gray energy manifests itself.
Strengths
Necrotic Manifestations
- Much like the conjuring of ice and fire, Aiden is able to concentrate his ability into a dangerous beam,
or wave of necrotic energy.
Necrotic Body
- It would appear that Aiden's frame is immune to the strife of biological degeneration where his cells would otherwise split and degenerate. This has effectively halted Aiden's aging process entirely, however, this is still unknown to him.
Necrotic Sight
- Aiden can see the physical health of an individual, and the level of biological degeneration they have suffered throughout their lives. Before he was able to shut this ability off at will, it added tremendously to his mental issues.
Weaknesses
Necrotic Curse
- Though his powers render him immune to biological degeneration, Aiden's ability constantly saps his mortal frame of energy which renders him tired, fatigued and weak. This also prevents Aiden from gaining weight, or building muscle as his powers would drain him of both.
Necrotic Mind
- Perhaps not an immediate weakness caused by his powers, Aiden suffers from hallucinations, temporal psychosis, and inner voices. His physical weakness makes this much harder to resist.
Skills
Strengths
Drawing
- In a search for something to focus his attention, Aiden came across the art of drawing, and painting.
Acrobatics
- Aiden as always been a bit of a wild child. He enjoys being active, and it's a way for him to clear his mind.
Stealth
- Aiden isn't a saint. He has trespassed more often than he'd admit, and with that, comes not being caught.
Pain Tolerance
- Due to abuse, Aiden has grown rather numb to pain.
Weaknesses
Physical Aptitude
- A weak, scrawny and slight frame leaves little to the imagination. Aiden can't throw a worthwhile punch to save his life.
Resilience
- Despite being emotionally numb to pain, his body isn't able to take a lot of damage before going down.
Combat
- Aiden isn't a physical combatant. He'd avoid confrontation at all costs.
Mental Issues
- Aiden has a myriad of mental issues, involving hallucinations, voices inside of his head, temporal psychosis and sometimes mental manifestations which are hallucinations that can very well physically interact with him. These are, of course, only a figment of Aiden's very messed up imagination.
Social Prowess
- Though kindhearted, and polite. Aiden can be a bit of a chore to be around, due to his issues.

History
Growing up with abusive parents is not an original state of being. Indeed, a tale old and heard. Aiden would proceed to continue these statistics with peers turning their drug induced wrath towards an unwanted son. Hooking up at an early age, one mistake lead to another, and all too reckless lifestyle landed two previous lovebirds in a nest they could barely keep.
Shifting their focus to alcohol and the ever releasing powder, Aiden was left to fend for himself for most parts of his life. Indeed, this lead to a great deal of hours spent outside the confines of the boy's home. It was a commodity for Aiden to seek comfort in the presence of others, though as many victims of domestic abuse, he kept the truth of what came to unfold behind closed doors, to himself.
Aiden lived a rather common life, apart from his personal situation. A school day consisted of spending time with closer friends, and keeping a distance from those known as bullies. Upon reaching his home, he'd proceed to keep a distance from his parents as well, though this was not always a successful endeavor.
Rift History
Upon the rifts coming to be, Aiden came to notice a notable shift in his being. That of which came in contact with him withered and rotted into nothingness, and his frame felt all the weaker. The beatings he took felt worse, due to this change. Retreating from the social pursuits which had once offered comfort, Aiden was understandably intrigued and terrified by these powers. Though, this fear turned him into a recluse, whereas in he attempted to learn enough, to prevent his powers from escaping his frame.
This addition would however come to destroy the home Aiden once knew. Though he had come to learn how to control these abilities, enough physical trauma easily surpassed the walls he had built. This evidently lead to a reaction out of Aiden's control, where his aggressors met their end.
War History
Aiden was eight years old during the war. Though he felt the effects of the cataclysmic event on a domestic scale, he was not personally involved in the war, in any way.
Alliance
None.
