You have awakened in the early hours of the morning.
The first thing you notice is the racking pain in the back of your skull, and then you immediately feel the bandage wrapped around your entire head, which is stained with blood in back.
You then finally notice where you are, and you haven't a clue as to where this is.
It's a run down shanty of a building, which looks to be a lodge of some sort. Though the conditions inside are horrible.
The windows are all broken, furniture is turned over and in several cases broken to naught but splinters and debris.
You then notice your clothing, spotted with dirt stains and smelling of sweat and general body odor.
You smell as if you haven't showered in days.
You try to stand and find your muscles burning with pain of fatigue, as if you had been under grueling physical stress unlike before.
You manage to stand and after steadying yourself, and over the throbbing headache which is beginning to build, you try and clear your boggled mind.
And you realize you can't.
You don't know who you are.
You don't know where you are or how or why you are even here.
You cannot remember anything, family, friends, where you work, how old you are, your basic identity, nothing at all.
Your heart begins to swell and your stomach churns with unpleasant feeling as doubt and panic soar through your mind.
You know nothing. Nothing at all.
You have no memory whatsoever.
However...
Amidst the swirling panic and uncertainty which clouds your mind, there is a glimmer of something.
Determination.
A swelling resolve to uncover the truths, the truths of who you are, where you are, why you are here, and what has happened.
You must, you will, find yourself.
THEME SONG
This is a Post-Apocalyptic Survival Roleplay set within the Mid-Western United States (the exact state and location will be later disclosed), and is centered around a young survivor who basically wakes up in an abandoned hunting lodge in poor physical condition and basically is suffering from amnesia, complete memory loss.
Completely unknowing of everything from what happened to why they're their to who they even are.
They will however soon find themselves united with a mysterious stranger, who at first will more or less be their only chance of survival. At least until they have collected themselves, as well as hopefully regained their identity.
Forced to endure in a cold, dead world that has been culled by an apocalyptic scale pathogen, our protagonist will have to be strong and unbending if they wish to survive...
