I'm looking for a few casual (or advanced?) rp partners that reply regularly and stay consistent with their writing.
Nothing +18, would rather fade to black. I usually play MxF. Paragraph count is anything from 2-6. Or more.

In the modern world, hybrids are regarded as less than human, and constantly experience prejudice and rejection. Most are forced into shelters, some live on the streets, and others as pets. Life for a hybrid is grim, even more so if you're not cute and cuddly.
But, there are a few who believe in greater things. Freedom. Equal rights. These few take in hybrids of all kinds, give them homes, and even evade laws to make a better world for hybrids as we know it.
There are a variety of ways this could go. Maybe your character is a hybrid, mistreated in the past but finding solace in somebody's home. Maybe you're a hybrid-rights advocate who regularly takes hybrids off the streets and finds them homes. Who knows?

I made up a bit of an au for some fanfiction that involves the race of "dragonborn", the descendants of the true dragons. They have the ability to shapeshift into dragons, usually associated with a certain element or type (poison, earth, fire), and in human form have wings and a tail. Moreover, dragonborn and humans are joined by a bond called a "dragonlink", which acts as a telepathic communication between the rider and the dragon. Dragonlinks are decided like soulmates; a sort of random/fate decision between the two parties, but it usually makes sense and dragonlinks can be artificially grown between close friends and lovers.
The dragonborn and their humans usually make up teams of riders and dragons that are a sort of police force, and they fly around the world to keep the country safe. What do you think?

Somebody discovers a baby has been placed on their doorstep. Now what? Maybe their kid's teacher is a cutie, or their kids are friends, or they're actually the kid's parent but can't take care of them, so they watch from a distance.
I just like kids. They're cute. Provides a lot of opportunities for fluff.
Probably a bit more platonic/family feels mixed in with the romance, though somebody's got to play the child...

I love vampires a lot I guess? Imagine a universe where fantasy and magic is just beginning to come out into the open, and inhumans are becoming more accepted. Of course, these magical beings have certain... quirks about them, and needs that prevent from living completely normally. Like vampires.
See, vampires need human blood to survive. In the modern age, it's not practical to just grab people at random, because you're going to get arrested. So now the government has developed a system that integrates the local blood banks as well as "live hosts", people who volunteer to become a long-term or short-term blood host for a vampire and get paid accordingly. Nurses and doctors are also present to study vampire behavior and habits.
Enter your character. Maybe a college student hoping to get a few dollars in their pocket, or a nurse interested in the way vampires live. Either way, it's going to be interesting.

Lots of ideas for this one. Anything from "my neighbor has fifty black cats that yowl at midnight and I'm pretty sure she's a witch" to "for the last time, NO DRAGONS IN MY HOUSE". I love fantasy when it mixes into modern life in weird ways. A very relaxed and comedic atmosphere, focusing on the mundane of magical life. I might split this one up farther. Other ideas include:
"no, I'm pretty sure that my apartment didn't include a magical closet door to another dimension when I first bought it, thanks for asking"
"I'm a lifeguard and I'm supposed to rescue people, I didn't realize you're a mermaid so sorry"
"this house is haunted, but the ghosts are just annoying, not evil"
"that girl just raised a squirrel from the dead, that is both creepy and adorable"
"I'm a fae barista and I can enchant drinks and you looked like you were having a bad day so here's a bit of luck in your drink--are you sure that wasn't a love potion?"

Every person, at birth, is assigned a Guardian Angel to watch over them and make sure they don't die prematurely or otherwise have a horrible life. Angels are usually invisible, but very often interfere with the human world to keep their charge safe.
Some people, however, have the ability to see their guardian angel... or gain the ability after a especially close brush with death. Furthermore, the banishment of angels occasionally takes place, forcing them to live like humans for a time.
So, what happens when your angel shows up at your doorstep and begs for a place to stay? What would you say if they've seen your entire life and know all your secrets?
Do you let them in, or close the door and pretend it never happened?

In a world of death and devastation, few cities remain standing. An environmental disaster has swept the nation, killing thousands after regions turn to desert, viruses emerge, and murder becomes common. The government is useless, if still standing at all, and it's every man for himself in the wasteland.
I've... never watched Mad Max, but from my (extremely) limited knowledge of the movies/game, it's something like this? With less emphasis on murder and cars. I'm thinking a desert-apocalypse setting, with moving caravans and small towns scattered around. Our characters are leaders of a group of survivors, looking for hope in a world full of ashes. Expect deep thoughts, some action, and looking up at the night sky.

A person with the ability to travel through time does so frequently, and through those travels discovers the existence of an immortal. Friendship/romance ensures.
I’d think this rp would have a slightly bittersweet feel to it, with the emphasis on time and death. Both are probably alone, forgotten by society, and only have each other to rely on. After all, everyone else dies someday. There lots of other ideas that I’d like to see, too. The possibilities of the immortal having various relationships, the traveler hopping from time to time to see one last glimpse of their lover, but never being able to interfere on risk of changing something and ruining the timeline. I’d love to talk more about this one.

You know that thing where two people get married because there's a catch or something attached to it? Maybe a dare, maybe free snacks for a year? Something big enough that our characters would go for it, anyway. Or maybe they're just drunk and crazy. Either way, they're getting married. Not for real, though. They're totally not pathetically pining away for each other in secret. Ha. No way.
Or, it's an arranged marriage, which would probably need a more formal/historical setting. Or fake dating! I love me some fake dating scenarios. Or whatever else goes under this, idk. Does getting stood up by your blind date count? Or pretending to be somebody's blind date? Or????

Similar to the spy idea... one person assigned to protect another, who is important/rich/otherwise influential. Secret motives, action, and assassination plans abound. Lots of focus placed on the dynamic between bodyguard/guarded. Are they spoiled? Innocent? Unwilling? Rebellious? Would also love to see a deeper backstory for the bodyguard. Why are they doing this? Do they have other plans?
Just a thought...

The main gist of this is exploration and the fantastical things that come along with it. I have at least five settings for this, so here we go:
1: Endless ocean. Think houses on stilts, underwater temples, islands and even huge boat colonies, all crossing the endless seas. And whales, because I like whales. Wait, maybe colonies of people on whales?
2: Spelunking--as in, a giant cave! This one brings back memories of my childhood spent playing minecraft--spending days and days underground, getting hopelessly lost and having to dig yourself out, finding diamonds... You get the idea. Underground cities are cool too, hint hint.
3: Clouds...? Air? Sky? Whatever. This would benefit from more details in the setting, i.e. magic or no magic, but the basics are the same. No touching the ground, for whatever reason. Airships! Lots of birds! Floating islands?
4: Ruins. Like Indiana Jones. Probably a bit more plot and mystery, with the opportunity to build a whole ancient civilization and all. A concrete ending would even be nice. What will they find?
5: SPAAAACE. Though, I'm not the biggest sci-fi geek, so it might be easier to pick one of the ones above. Still--exploring planets? Yes. Neat spaceships? Definitely. Space whales? I sure hope so.
Explore things! Find things! Do things! See things! So many things!!!
