◈ The Worst Minion ◈
Penny Haywise || Lady Hestia
"Daughter of a single-father, and one of the countries most infamous villains (if you check the villains' version of Forbes magazine, you'll find him amongst the top five), she was raised with love, a desensitization to violence, and the expectation to become a great villain like her father. Penny did not meet these expectations, by a long shot. Proudly adorning the title of minion, she's since realized that she might not... be too good at that either. But it's either this or some mundane job, so here goes nothing!"

POWER INFO

POWERS?:
YES [ ✔ ]______________NO [ ]

POWER SET:
>> Earth Manipulation: "User can create, shape and manipulate earth and 'Earthen' elements including most solid objects, specifically all minerals and mineral compositions regardless of their state (mountain, boulder, sand or dust), dirt, soil, etc." That's the definition of Penny's power, and what she should be able to do do, but should and can are two completely different things. Theoretically Penny can do all those things, maybe even more, but she has a very loose grasp of her own abilities. As of right now, she can send pebbles or small stones flying and control their movement, but she has trouble making those sharp turns. Twice she's been able to construct a rock pillar or stone wall for protection, but they were loose and crumbled a minute after their construction. At this point in time, her most dangerous ability is the instantaneously grinding down of glass into sand. If there's enough material, she can successfully make a tidal-wave of sand, and control the majority of its movement, which can be used to suffocate enemies, or be used to create one-hell-of-a sandstorm that decreases visibility for both sides. Her father has suggested that she can create earthquakes, though even he is unsure of what category/severity it could be.

>> Unnatural Strength: "Users are glaringly, obviously and super/unnaturally stronger than their race because their capabilities are pushed beyond the natural level; making them immensely stronger than normal members of their species (in that 'verse) can be achieved by any method of training." A self-explanatory ability, Penny's got a bit of strength behind her, and she can pack a punch. It's not necessarily a natural ability, in that she can use it freely, and she has to actively concentrate on a specific area of muscle in her body to enhance her strength there. An entire body enhance is beyond her capabilities, at the moment, and she can only maintain the increase in body mass for a limited time; her best record has been 3 minutes and 42 seconds. Of course, practice can see an extension in time, and thus she actively boxes to keep herself in shape.

>> Agility: Not necessarily a super ability, Penny is just naturally light on her feet, and training, with her father and on her own, has allowed her to hone this into a useful skill in battle, and just everyday life. It's good for escape, dodging, or to close in on an enemy. That being said, she is easily outmatched by those with super speed, and cannot pair this with her own super strength, as the increase in body mass slows her down considerably. Training has seen her begun to switch through the two interchangeably, and she's capable of delivering devastating combo's.

INTERPERSONAL INFO

PERSONALITY:
• As a bright ball of sunshine, filled with positivity, optimism and encouragement, Penny is an odd sight at a villain's academy. She seems her happiest when surrounded by friends and is always willing to give a helping hand, she's the opposite of a villain -- she's helpful. But at the same time, she doesn't flinch or look away from the goriest of scenes and she talks casually about true acts of terror as if she was discussing the weather. She has the mentality of one set on the crooked path, it id her mannerism that doesn't coincide. At least, not socially. If given the order to, or the need arises, she'll snap your wrist without hesitation or leave you for dead.

Penny's a resilient kid, physically and mentally, with insults and the like bouncing harmlessly off her. She's unperturbed by ideas and sights that would leave most grown men running in fear of their life. And while eternally cheery, she is far more perceptive than her toothy grin might ever suggest. She's aware of patterns, overtones, and details, and while she certainly has no super-ability, she is a rather intuitive girl; it comes with being someone who listens to others more than they talk. As her father has taught her to do. One could liken her to the possessed doll a couple buys in every horror movie: a turbulent tangle of destruction and awaiting evil hidden behind an innocent face. But at the same time, Penny is only ever 'evil' out of necessity, as her father has taught her nothing good comes from overindulgence or showboating, to this extent she is modest and is careful not to reveal too many things about herself, and can be described as modest. She's also a daddy's girl, and often recites her father's lessons and teachings as if they were bible verses.

BIOGRAPHY:
• There once was a man, new to the world of villainy, who met a woman. She was ordinary and unremarkable in almost every way, but he made her laugh and vice versa. When the days grew long and hours seemed endless, she was there to brighten his day. They were kindred spirits, and with no families of their own they found solace in each other, and when that woman became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful, wonderful, and extraordinary little girl the man was overwhelmed with joy. He felt himself moved, and felt a love so strong for the child he knew he'd move any mountain, pass any hurtle, and go face-to-face against the worsts of evils, just to see her smile. So when the woman discovered the man's true identity, and what he truly did for a living, she threatened to leave him and take the child with her. And so he had her disposed of, and began to raise his daughter as a single parent.

Penny has spent her entire life surrounded by those with the title of 'villain', with all the gadgets and schemes and evil henchmen you see on TV. But that was as close as she ever got to the stereotypical villainy. Her father operated differently, he worked smart and efficiently. He never broke into a museum to steal the world's biggest diamond, because heaven's what ever would he do with that? Any 'arch nemesis' he had were dealt with the first time they became a problem, and by him personally, and he never created any doomsday device in an order to 'bring a city to its knees' or that nonsense. He did not brag about his latest accomplishments, he employed only a small circle of staff, he kept an actual day job, and in his spare time he crooned and loved and spoiled rotten his little girl.

Soon enough her father had erected an empire, and villainy became more of a side-job to him, but one he performed with the upmost efficiency. This meant he had more time to himself and be an actual father, and that was an occupation he never once slacked on. He opted to have Penny home-schooled with professional tutors who taught her the basic subjects; math, science, English, history, while he personally oversaw her 'extracurricular studies'. Bomb defusing, computer hacking, poison identification and neutralizing, as well as a few 'normal' lessons like how to change a tire and how to manage your spending, he did his best to teach it all to her. Because even if Penny didn't want to follow in his footsteps, he'd make sure she knew how to take care of herself in the real world, and knew how to deal with any problem that she came across.

Penny did hold an interest in becoming a villain like her father, and informed her father of it at a young age too. Which saw a shift in her lessons, with a focus on the more abnormal side of their lives. Her father did his best to help hone in her supernatural abilities, which proved to be difficult for her, and other tests. But, try as he might, he was only one man, and while he was reluctant to admit it, he knew Penny would only truly benefit from attending a school where she'd have access to different types of learning styles, and lessons taught by true professionals and not a jack-of-all-trades like himself.
