Character Name: Nivaar Dean Swann [Tobias Dean Swann for modern settings, but I will keep with Nivaar for the rest of the profile.)
Nickname/Alias: Niv or Swann

General Appearance:
His frame is the first thing most folks notice when the 'Paladin' walks in. Standing at 6′ 4″, Nivaar is a very large individual. His form is well cared for as he usually is in heavy plate or in a career where physical fitness is required. Blessed (Or cursed) with a classically handsome face, Nivaar's deep-set eyes are blue in color and betray more of his emotions than he'd like. His nose has clearly been broken once or twice, a small bump and scar marring the once straight sniffer. He normally keeps a clean shave, but once in a while he'll let the darker blonde beard hairs stick around. He keeps it short. His hair is a much lighter blonde color than his beard and he has mastered the 'bedhead' waves. He uses no gel or products other than a brush.
Handedness: Left-handed, though he eats with his right.
Tattoos/Marks: Usually a 'knight' or 'law-keeper', Nivaar has a plethora of scars and marks. The most noticeable one, as it's on his face, is the small scar on his nose. It dips to the right of his nose and stops just before the cheek. He has no tattoos.
Best Qualities: He is a loyal friend and once you have his trust, it will take a lot to break. His kindness can be seen as a good/bad quality, but he’s not a pushover who will just be blindly kind to anyone. His laugh and smile. It’s infectious.
Bad Habits/Vices: He tends to think he has to take on problems by himself, leaving some of his best friends in the dark as to how he’s really feeling/handling things. He's terrible at talking about his own wants or desires, usually turning the conversation or action back on itself or into a circle.
Phobias/Fears: While he has no phobias (That he knows of), he's uneasy around overly sexual people and situations. He'll avoid them like the plague. He also fears making a mistake large enough to cost a life.
Quirks: He collects things, and when he says things, it literally means things. Weird bent metal, vials of dirt or sand. Rocks with interesting formations. Papers with strange writing or signatures. Anything he likes, he puts on a shelf. Usually there is a story behind the item such as a location he visited or a person he met that left an impression.
Sexual Background: (Everyone's favorite part) Nivaar Swann, at the age of 17, took a Vow of Celibacy. More as a promise to himself than for any religious reasoning. Knighthood/Law Career takes a lot of effort and he believes his time is better off spent working rather than finding a partner. Despite that, he has stated that he would have no preference as to who his partner would be if he were to have one. The vow is not forever.

Morality/Ethics: Nicknamed the 'White Knight', he's a lawfully good man. He hates the loss of life and will even go to extremes to make sure that there is none. He's been known to step into situations based on what should be done, even if it's against his own feelings. This does not mean he will not reap justice when it's clearly due. He will always choose the quickest and most painless methods, whether it's in execution, imprisonment, or representation.
