Not much is known about the members of the High Magi Council, however this is a compiled list of information known to the public. Note; some of this information is strictly based on rumours spread about them.
Name: Tynan Joachim Hawthorne Age: Fifty-six Race: Human Sex: Male Appearance: Tynan stands at an almost intimidating height of six-foot-four. His skin is extremely pale, with red-flecked blue eyes that seem to glow under the right lighting. His hair is white, though it's length is unknown to most, though it's long enought hat it can be kept in a braid that is tucked neatly under itself, tied with a black ribbon. His style of dress is formal; dark, three-piece suits, of which the coat tails almost always reach to or just past his knees. Tie or cravat tucked neatly into the vest piece, and straight-fit pants all of which are perfectly tailored. His black shoes, always with a clean shine. Personality: Tynan appears to be very mysterious, but according to rumours is a very gracious host to those who visit him. It's said that he enjoys the company of others and has very good people skills. There is always a smile on his face, which seems to be bright enough to make any feelings of intimidation thanks to him being the Grand Magus, fleeting at most. Biography: It's common knowledge that he was not originally meant to be the High Magi of Spiritus. Another came before him, a young girl, though due to her short time in training even less is known about her, or who she is, than Tynan himself, who keeps things relatively quiet. It's said he was born to an Aquan mother who after he was taken to Anima, left his father to return to her homeland, where she had twin sons which Tynan had never met until relatively recently. His father, a scholar of Tenebrae, he's never spent much time with either parent in quite some time. Taken to Anima at the age of fifteen after suppressing his natural magick abilities, when he found out he was being taken from his mother despite his efforts, he caused literal explosions, both of objects and minds, making three experienced Spiritan Magi lose their minds, as well as killing another outright. He personally doesn't remember the outburst in detail, however it was definitely in any forms of news across Medeis. Other: Candies and other sweets such as cakes and cookies are said to be at every meeting had, along with a freshly brewed pot of tea. Chambers in which meetings have been held with him are also said to have scented candles and/or incense lit, the room is always dim and near silent, save the rather loud ticking and swing of a pendulum grandfather clock.
Name: Zachary Lucius Alvaro Age: Forty-four Race: Human Sex: Male Appearance: Zachary stands at five feet, ten inches tall, with a fairly average athletic build. His features are sharp; a straight nose and narrow dark brown eyes with rimless glasses, thin lips, all framed with straight, black hair that falls just over his ears. His usual style is casual, usually all black, perhaps a hint of white or olive green depending on the occasion, but mostly black. Personality: As a man of few words, it's hard to tell what kind of person he actually is, though when he does speak, his tone carries a certain gentleness about it, despite how blunt some of the things he says can be. His expressions often hold nothing, making him appear quite numb, however it's rumoured that he actually has a heart of gold, and is much like a mother bird to the other High Magi. Biography: Zachary was born in Terra to a mother and father who were avid followers of the goddess, Terra. When he first started showing signs of natural magick use, his parents were thrilled to know he would be taken to Anima to train as the High Magi of Terra, as firm believers that he had been blessed by the goddess herself. After he was taken to Anima, he was trained as all other High Magi were. Due to his quiet nature, nothing more is known. Other: He frequents the libraries of Spiritus, so it is assumed he enjoys reading. Most of what he checks out from the libraries seem to be romance novels, however he has also been seen to take mysteries and assorted non-fiction as well.
Name: Shelawnda Gertrude Wilhelm Age: Sixty-three Race: Half-Giant Sex: Female Appearance: At an incredibly intimidating seven feet, three inches, Shelawnda is not only tall, but has a wide bone-structure as well. Her muscle mass is well above average, which adds to the intimidation factor. She has ginger-red hair that falls in a mess of curls around her face that hangs just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a pale brown with a golden ring around the iris, as well as flecks of gold throughout. Her jaw is square, but she still holds a certain femininity about her. Her clothing style is usually some sort of metal armour over hide, complimented with furs, feathers, fangs, claws or other beautiful pieces of an animal. Personality: Shelawnda has many things said about her; from being as gentle as a butterfly, to being as brutal as a red dragon who's had their egg stolen. This is likely due to a short temper, however even when she is calm or in a "good mood", she always seems to have a straight face, if not a slight scowl while standing there with her arms folded. She doesn't seem to have much interest in interacting with others, and due to both this fact, as well as how intimidating she is as a person, most tend not to gossip too much about her, fearing she'd reach out and quite literally single handedly kill them if they said the wrong thing. Biography: Shelawnda comes from a giant father and human mother. Most wonder how or why this happened, but the result was a beautiful baby girl who was quick to show signs of magick. Her mother died during birth, though that just made her father love her more. At first, she was kept a secret from the public, and her magickal abilities were key in keeping one of the old forges in a town far from Metallum going. However by the age of nine, she was found and taken off to Anima. Of course, the forge still runs beautifully without her, as do many others, however she took her love for Ignis with her, and requested access to any forges Anima had. As a High Magi's apprentice, she was granted any and all access to them, as well as when she became High Magi of Ignis, created a personal forge within the tower where she could practice and perfect her craft. She is one of the only High Magi who regularly leaves Anima to visit her home nation. Mostly because no one can really stop her... Other: It's well known that she enjoys forging weapons and armour more than being a High Magi, though other than that, and her short temper, nothing is really known about her for certain, though it's said that despite her hatred for nick names, there is one person she allows to call her 'Shelly'.
Name: Aleena Mist Aquios Age: Twenty-three Race: Naiad Sex: Female Appearance: Aleena stands at five-feet, four inches, with a pale blue complexion that holds a bit of a sheen to it. Her eyes are large and pitch-black throughout with no distinguishable pupil or iris set a little wide on her face though looks farther due to how narrow her nose is. Her body itself is slender, almost frail looking. Her fingers and toes are partially webbed, and her ears are pointed, though the outer edges of them look more like fins than a typical elf ear. Her blue-tinted platinum hair falls to her waist in a thick cloud of loose curls, which is never tied back, left to cascade over her shoulders. Her style of dress is usually quite simple; flowing pink dresses that fall to her knees, or wraps over her chest and a flowing skirt. Shoes are optional for her, most times opting out of wearing them, though when she does they are usually some form of sandal. Personality: Aleena is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her aura can cause a wave of calm over a room in an instant. She works hard to maintain the peace, arguably harder than any of the other High Magi, despite being so new to the position. She is friendly and kind, tending never to take anything for granted. And while she is the most open with the public of the High Magi, all that is known is of her genuine kindness and soothing nature. Biography: Aleena was raised the first few years of her life in Aqua by a naiad mother and elven father. Things were wonderful, from what she remembers, though upon being found to have natural talent with magick, she was taken to Anima at the age of four. After that, little is known about her, though her mentor, the previous High Magi of Aqua was taken by illness when she was just seventeen, forcing her into the High Magi position before her training was fully completed. Through the last six years, she has continued training under the Grand Magus' watch. Other: Aleena is known to have a bit of a bleeding heart, and can make her act before thinking. She enjoys swimming, being near the ocean, but doesn't seem to like sand much at all. Due to her surename, it's rumoured that her family was that of royalty or at least nobility at one point, before Aqua was changed into a Democracy, however this has not been confirmed.
Name: Genesis Zephyr Age: Thirty-seven Race: Faerie Sex: Male Appearance: Genesis stands at five-foot-six. He has glowing silver eyes that are usually half-covered by a mess of blue-black shaggy hair which is more of a poof than anything, around his head. Though it's straight it seems to stick out in all directions regardless. He has a round face, small nose, his ears are pointed but not like an elf's, they are much shorter, closer to the size of a human's ear, just pointed at the top. His style of dress is usually in browns, blacks and blues; a healthy mix of cotton, silk and leather, with metal clasps and cuffs, jewelry is not uncommon for him, having multiple piercings in both ears, necklaces, bracelets and rings glimmering all over. Despite his ability to over-accessorize, his clothes are relatively casual. Personality: Genesis seems rather dark and broody. He's not afraid to speak his mind, and often disagrees with others. It's not that he likes to start trouble, it's almost as though he can't help himself. He knows he's powerful and makes a point to show that off, which causes people to spread less rumours about him in general. Thanks to this very little is known about him. Biography: He is a Faerie from Ventus; other than that, and the fact he has a younger sister, not much is known about him. He doesn't seem to really want to be a High Magi, this could be in part to the fact he is away from his sister a lot of the time, but it's uncertain what the reason actually is.

Name: Mishka Jereni Brencis Nicknames/Titles: Mia or Mishi by those closest to her; Queen, Majesty, 'Mom' or other variations of. Age: Forty-eight. Race: Dryad. Sex: Female. Sexuality: Straight. Occupation: Queen of Terra. Place of Birth: Terra. Appearance: Mishka is a 'willowy' woman, to say the very least. She stands at 5'8" and has a very lithe frame. Her face is narrow as are all her features, save the large golden eyes. Atop her head she has antler-like branches and from those, and as her hair, she has willow vines, that change with the season. Her clothes look and move much like leather, though if one were to touch them, they would find that it is actually wood, accented by green vines and leaves worn like belts, bracelets, necklaces and bands around her legs and arms. Personality: Mishka is a calm, collected woman, as in tune with nature as her appearance might suggest. She is a happy woman, though appears quite stoic most times. She is relatively soft spoken, but is not afraid to make herself heard. She's a gentle spirit, incredibly loving toward most she meets and many she hasn't met personally. She is a kind and compassionate queen, who cares deeply for her people, her nation, and Medeis as a whole. Mishka is not quick to anger in the slightest, often times meeting a situation that might spark anger in her with a blank face or even a soft smile; she is quite above violence. Likes: Nature, her people, music(she sings and plays the panflute), being with her family, water and sunlight. Dislikes: Misuse of Lapis Potentia, ignorance, disrespect, darkness and the Winter season. Strengths: It is nearly impossible to sneak up on Mishka. Her hearing is far above average, and even when she doesn't seem like she is paying attention to her surroundings, she definitely is. She is light on her feet, silent and fast. In terms of less physical things; Mishka is very good at making friends, due to her caring nature, and has made a point to try and befriend the people of Terra, so she is not only a ruler to them. She has a strong-will, and cares not for what others may say. Weaknesses: Unfortunately, she considers her tree-form a weakness. If it withers, she will die, it it is cut down, she will die, if it is burned, she will burn. Any pain the tree feels, she will feel; and anything she personally endures, the tree will endure as well; which is why the large weeping willow is kept in a central courtyard within the castle walls. She is not physically strong, either, and usually relies on her Lapis Potentia, and woodland magicks. Weapons: Mishka relies heavily on her Lapis Potentia for combat. Lapis Potentia: Mishka possesses a Terran Lapis Potentia, which she is incredibly skilled in using in a variety of ways. Mainly used to help with any agricultural needs across Terra.
She can summon forth slender, razor-sharp leaves which she can send shooting forth toward any opponent, or a multitude of opponents. She can also control plantlife in the way of using vines and roots like whips or to entangle an opponent.
Defensively, Mishka can actually harden her skin. She takes on a very wooden appearance when doing this, though is tougher than a tree would be against an attack. She can also quite literally root herself to the ground, if need be.
For a supportive role, the young Queen has learned to use minor healing magick to sooth pain or close small wounds, however, will usually rely on proper bandaging. She grows many medicinal herbs in her personal gardens with the help of her Lapis to make sure they are always available when needed. Biography: Mishka was born as Princess Mishka Jereni. As such, she was taught at her home by tutors and her parents. Learning much of her kingdom nation of Terra, and how to rule it, as she one day would.
As a young teen, her parents, of course, were on the hunt for a suitor for their daughter and only heir to the throne. She honestly, at the time hadn't gotten out of the castle much, taken by her studies more often than not, though she'd taken interest in watching the knights as they trained and practiced. A few times, even convincing them to help her learn to defend herself with a blade... Unfortunately she didn't pick it up very easily, no matter which weapon she tried. Though once she obtained her Lapis she had practiced using her new magickal powers with them instead.
As she grew older, into a young woman, the knights seemed more and more happy to help her learn, though it was helpful in her eyes, she knew that it was her captivating beauty and their hopes of possibly becoming her husband to rule Terra at her side that kept them going. It was her eighteenth year that her father summoned her to the throneroom to meet with a young man. A knight she'd seen before, though he was relatively new to their ranks at the time, his father was a highly respected knight. He was given rank as her personal guard, and though it was at first against her wishes, she did grow fond of the boy as the two of them grew together. Though she was reluctant to marry despite her parents' pushing.
It was after her father was taken by an illness that there was no found cure for and her coronation, that she decided to give her mother what she'd wished for. She married her knight, the now-Prince Farren, and an heir then was born; Crown-Prince Leonel. Other: While she has matured quite a lot since her father's death, Mishka is still known to be playful at times. She enjoys leaving the castle without warning and sending her husband and the guard into fits, though... she's the Queen. Who's gonna tell her no?
Name: Semira Layla Amar Nicknames/Titles: Mira(by those close to her). Lady as a title, or simple Ma'am. Age: Thirty-six. Race: Lamia. Sex: Female. Sexuality: Pansexual. Occupation: Leader of Ignis, Dragon tamer. Place of Birth: Ignis. Appearance: Semira, when "standing" is roughly seven feet tall. Though from head to tip of her tail she is about sixteen feet long. The human portion of her body is curvatious, toned and her skin is a soft, warm, medium brown tone. Her hair is black, cut straight at her shoulders, with straight bangs across her forehead at eyebrow length. Her ears are pointed, eyes a brilliant cyan colour that glow slightly. While most of her body is left bare, what she does wear is gold in colour, with green gems. Mostly gold rings around her neck, bracelets, arm bands, rings, a belt-like covering that hangs securely in place at her waist. A tiara-like head piece that goes under her hair just behind her ears and over her head with five large green gems, as well as clawed finger armour on her index and middle fingers of both hands. Personality: Semira is a sarcastic, blunt sort of woman, who enjoys people but hates company. Absorbed in her beauty and belongings, she can be a bit selfish at times, but most of the time she is kind and cares much about the people of Medeis, with the Ignicians as her priority. She makes friends easily enough, and though she doesn't like the company very often, it doesn't stop her from spending time with others... Even if it is just to make them feel as uncomfortable as she can manage. She pretends well, and appears as quite the social butterfly. Her favourite thing in the world is her pets, and are the only company she enjoys having anytime. Likes: Her pets, jewelry, gems, gold, anything shiny, really... Honest, hard workers, taking risks, sunbathing, relaxing, sex. Dislikes: Cold weather, people who don't contribute, humidity(much prefers dry heat), traveling to other countries(mostly Aqua and the isle of Anima), and hard alcohols. Strengths: Semira is very physically strong, and good in battle and is immune to poisons. She has a strong sense of direction, and has never gotten lost in her life. She is a people person, good with helping, and also a very good politician. Her beauty often works to her advantage, able to toy with people easily if a situation calls for it. Another strength, being that she can endure just about any climate. Though she hates the cold, she could live in it, if she had to, however she prefers the heat. Able to withstand the deserts and forges without any cooling method. Weaknesses: Semira hates and utterly fears flying, though it's unclear why this is, to anyone. A major weakness for her, is taking hostages. People close to her are everything, and she would do anything to keep them safe, this also goes for anyone in Ignis, but those close to her, she's more likely to take extra care in ensuring their safety. Her bluntness can make her out to seem more like a bitch than anything else, at times. Weapons: Semira has two bladed battle fans. The blades are hidden along the inside, making them appear relatively harmless unless one was to look incredibly close at the top edge, though the elaborate , shimmering, details along both fans distracts the eye from the posibility of them being a weapon. The claws she wears on both hands could also be used as weapons if needed... Lapis Potentia: Semira is in possession of an Ignician Lapis. She's never really practiced magicks, however, and usually just uses any power she does possess to ignite her fireplace, torches and what have you. Another use has been for warming eggs in her hands.
Offensively she's only shown the ability to make small fireballs and shoot them forth. She doesn't much try for anything more than that, and has no wish to try any harder unless it becomes a necessity. She can be seen occasionally idly playing with a flame around her fingers, though other than these very mild things, she seems to have no interest in magick. Biography: Semira was raised with no known father. She'd heard he was a Naga from Ventus, though never had any interest to find out who he was, why he left or any of that. She was content with her mother and siblings. They were a family of materialists, to put lightly. They all found themselves in love with gold and gems and other such shiny things and made it a point to show off their collection to anyone who would visit their home. Grand displays of treasure, and even so, bandits wouldn't get far in trying to steal their treasures...
How they could afford such things, after all, was that they were in the business of dragon taming. As such, the front gates to their estate had dragons guarding it; statue like from far away or in the darkness, though once close enough, one would either be sent running, or killed outright. And if they did manage to get past them somehow; the family itself was arguably more fearsome.
Years went by and Semira's siblings slowly went off to other places, keeping the business alive, of course, yet remaining with their mother, was Semira. One of the youngest of the siblings, she stayed to care for their mother, while also craving a bit more. Not necessarily possessions, though they were nice, she craved a certain power. Not that which a Lapis could grant, one that she would have to earn.
Over the years she had earned the respect of many inhabitants of Ignis, as well as the border of Terra. She'd decided to take to politics, and her persuasive nature made her succeed rather quickly. One of her elder brothers helping her on the way up the ladder she was the leader of Ignis by the age of twenty eight and has turned Ignis from it's previous state of just a desert with some forges, to being a truly prosperous land. Having old mines and forges reopened to increase productivity and employment, thus profits; there are many who see her as nothing more than a woman after material gain, however many do understand that she is benefitting the nation at the same time. This is what keeps her in power; she's done much for Ignis, and has no plans to stop... so long as she continues to get her cut of the profits. Other: Her pet list includes her two dragons that sit at the gate, as well as several snakes, spiders and scorpions that are often left to roam the palace-like home she lives in. She has considered getting other animal companions, however seems content with her babies as they are.
Name: Arkadiy Sebastian Hawthorne Nicknames/Titles: Archie, Mr. Hawthorne, Sir. Age: Thirty-nine. Race: Human. Sex: Male. Sexuality: Bisexual. Occupation: Leader of Aqua. Place of Birth: Aqua. Appearance: Arkadiy is a tall, thin man with a mess of silvery hair on his head. His eyes are a brilliant blue and his skin is incredibly pale. His features are sharp, though his face is softened by his large smile that never seems to fade. His clothes are often a well-fit suit, jacket left unbuttoned and tie left loosely around his neck. He honestly looks a little unkempt, no thanks to the perpetual stubble along his jaw line. Personality: He's a jolly sort. Incredibly kind to all he meets and always seems to be smiling, laughing and happy as can be. He's a little eccentric at times, and takes a great interest in the inventions of Ventus, often times finding himself visiting to learn a thing or two from the people there. He's an excitable man, with a love for his nation rivaled by none, earning the love and respect of the Aquan people from all shores and the Gelum tribes alike. Likes: Reading, crafting, exploring, learning, talking, the company of others. His mother also makes the best sweets and tea, causing him to adore them from a young age. Dislikes: Bitter food, too much silence, complete darkness, people with know-it-all attitudes. Strengths: Arkadiy is a brilliant mind. He excells at things that need a quick, sharp mind, like a game of chess for example. He's an excellent politician and leader for Aqua. He's also extremely capable with a Lapis' power. Weaknesses: His excitement can often get the better of him, and his eccentric personality can make others see him as a bit odd, which sometimes, he can take to heart(albeit not for very long). As good a politician he is, he's actually a terrible liar, and has built his campaign entirely on truths. Perhaps how he won in the first place... Weapons: Arkadiy is a fan of blades, though he does keep a small Ventian pistol on his person, along with a knife. From childhood, he's actually taken lessons in fencing, however. Lapis Potentia: Arkadiy's ability with a Lapis is beyond what most would expect of a simple, honest man like himself. However he and his twin brother Azure both excell at the use of their Lapis Potentia.
Arkadiy can do many things, from creating whirlpools to pillars on waters' surfaces. He's capable of walking on any water's surface, running or still, fresh or salt. Though that's not all; he can also create bubbles for himself while under water, that allow him to breathe.
He's able to manipulate streams of water in ways that he can create an offensive water tendril of sorts; almost like a serpent of sorts that he can use to knock about opponents, and also make larger bubble-like prisons for people or creatures, holding them still; depending on the size, they may be completely encased, or simply a part of them.
Alternatively to water, he also possesses the ability to freeze any form of his own water abilities for added effect; be it entombing something in ice, to making icicles rain from above, his powers are great. Though these are only a few of his abilities, and he primarily uses his power in aiding Aqua any way possible; lately in the mines of Gelum. Biography: From a young age, Arkadiy was a happy person. He was raised well and cared for deeply by his parents. The bond with his twin brother Azure was one so close one might have thought they shared a mind some days. Though as they became teens their goals and plans for the future differed.
While Azure wanted to become a teacher to help the children of Medeis learn all they could, Arkadiy instead persued many fields at once; from architecture, to Lapis research, to politics, to studying Ventian designs and building his own little doodads, eventually he was ready to settle on one official goal. Though he kept the others fresh in his mind, while he persued his career path in politics, in hopes of one day bettering Aqua.
Over the years, he gained the trust of the people of Aqua, through honesty, brutal as it was at some points. He offered sincerety and truth, and in return, he was a leading runner for many years. In the beginning of his running, her was faced with many rumours such as being the Grand Magus' younger brother. While perhaps as children he would have considered them as such, he never had the chance to spend time with the Magus, and thus, has told the masses that his only sibling is his twin, Azure. Other: He has been the leader of the icy nation of Aqua for nearly twelve years now, and since has met with Tynan a number of times, however neither seem to acknowledge eachother as family.
Name: Elizabeth Aeryn Crossman Nicknames/Titles: Aeryn, Boss, Miss. Ventus Age: Twenty-eight. Race: Human. Sex: Female. Sexuality: Bisexual. Occupation: Leader of Ventus, Inventor. Place of Birth: Ventus Appearance: Aeryn stands at five feet, eight inches tall. She has a medium-pale skintone, reddish brown eyes set on an incredibly sharp-featured face. Her hair is pitch black, curly and reaches to about her waist if it's let down, however she often wears it up so it puffs out in a high ponytail that barely reaches her neck. Her style of dress is extravigant in some ways; often times donning corsets, lace, frills and other things of the like. While most of her clothing is in fact an assortment of nice cloth, she does wear a lot of leather as well; belts, many of her corsets, harnesses, gloves, boots, and on her head, most times can be found a set of brass goggles with adjustable lenses. Personality: Aeryn is a sweetheart. She cares very deeply for others, and trusts easily, however don't let that side of her fool you. She's also very strict with rules, a little hard on her workers, and even harder on her friends. Though it's obvious that she means everything she says and does with a good healthy dose of love and care. Likes: Tinkering, puzzles, working hard, relaxing, firearms. Dislikes: Push-overs, laziness, people who don't at least appreciate technology, Strengths: Aeryn is incredibly smart and innovative. Almost never at a lack of ideas she's a quick problem solver and has many look up to her for this in times of need. She's also an incredibly good shot with most types of guns. Weaknesses: She trusts incredibly easily, which has put her in with a bad crowd more than once. She can also make some pretty rash decisions while worrying about things. Weapons: She has a large selection of firearms at the ready. She prefers to keep a pistol and dagger at her hip, and a rifle on her back. Strong preference toward the rifle, and fighting at a distance. Lapis Potentia: Aeryn possesses a Ventian Lapis Potentia with a proficiency in lighting aspects. Mostly using it for her inventions, sparking some life into them or whatever else she sees use a use for.
While she doesn't often enjoy fighting, offensive uses of her Lapis include small gusts of wind to possibly knock her opponents off guard for a moment, which helps with giving her time to aim a gun. Though with a proficiency in using electricity, she doesn't always succeed in the more windy things. She can imbue her bullets with lightning for an aftershock when her bullet meets it's mark. Usually just enough to stun them. She can do this without the use of her bullets as well, though she has to be rather close range to stun without shooting it off.
Defensive uses consist solely of her surrounding her own body in a thin layer of chain lightning that will send a devastating shock through anything or anyone that touches it. Biography: Aeryn was born as Elizabeth Crossman, to a wealthy, high-class couple in the Sky City of Nimbus. Her parents had always wanted their beautiful Elizabeth to be a proper lady. That she would dress in dresses and keep her hair done proper. Make up was to be worn once she was deemed old enough for it(at about eleven years old), and even how she carried herself was to be perfect.
Because of this lifestyle growing up, she does keep proper posture, however from a very young age, she'd befriended many of the children her parents didn't want her to. Her best friend's family, in fact, was one of highly respected inventors, and they had taught her quite a few things about how to make simple things, fixing gears, and she'd even managed to sneak off on trips with them to other cities like Fulmen, to learn more about the workings of the many inventions that were around.
By her mid-teens, she'd created many things and designed even more. Her style changed to incorporate corsets but was almost seen as just a big middle finger to her parents as she coupled it with tops that would show off more skin than they would've liked, and tight pants with a mess of hair. She also took up learning how to use the firearms that she'd created or improved upon.
It wasn't until she was in her twenties that she met Jack Calumina. A truly brilliant man in her eyes. He helped her with many things, the main of which, was her climb up the Ventian ladder, her inventions becoming more widely known, faster than she'd known they could, and she was put onto teams for improvement of previous designs. Not long after that, found herself at the top of the chain, leading Ventus. Naturally, she was busy, and while she could've had any number of other Ventian innovators go to meetings in her stead, she chose Jack as her main ambassador. After all, she knew it was him that put her where she is now, and as someone so pathetic in the face of danger, she could trust him not to start something foolish with the other nations. Other: Aeryn is responsible for a few different firearms being created, the updated, much more efficient versions of the lightning rod towers in Fulmen, as well as the now much larger scale turbines across the Zephyrus Plains, along with many smaller inventions used across the nation, and in others.

Occupation: Ambassador for Ventus Place of Birth: Ventus Appearance: Standing at six feet even and weighing in at 134.5 pounds, Jack is a tall and thin man, much longer than wide. He has dark black hair that goes down to his neck, with a sort of deliberate messiness to the style. His skin is quite pale, and his eyes are a strange yellow-gold. He is often smiling, and prefers to have a merry, almost playful air rather than a somber one. His fingers are also quite long. He keeps himself clean-shaven at all times. When it comes to attire, Jack prefers dark suits in some form, typically ones that accent his lithe form. For the most part the suits remain simple, black with splashes of white and a tie included, but as necessary he can throw on formal long coats over. The only piece of jewelry he wears is a Ventus signet ring. Personality: At first glance, Jack is a very carefree individual. He takes his time, does what he wants, and sometimes misses what seems to be obvious things. He can be a little lazy (strange for someone in his position), but in reality he's a little more serious than he lets on and he's definitely a lot more intelligent than a first look at him reveals. He's an extremely bright individual and can easily multitask without batting an eyelash. Still, a smile is almost always on his face, even during more of the serious situations; it can be a little eerie because of this. He rarely gets angry, at least visibly so. Behind all this lies his true, almost fierce intelligence, which he not-so-obviously uses in each situation. Likes: Reading, playing games, relaxation, negotiations, deals, and challenges Dislikes: Paperwork/bureaucracy, tedium, inaction (padoxes!), and those who stubbornly refuse to budge. Strengths: Jack is quite knowledgeable about the political workings of each of the nations, as a part of his job. He is also a talented diplomat, and possesses a general knowledge of many topics, leading the awful pun of "Jack of all trades." He is also talented at bluffing and manipulation, which helps in everything from his position to games of chance. Weaknesses: Jack, as he acknowledges himself, is not a fighter, and prefers to avoid violence at all costs. He also has a bit of a razor wit around him, which while entertaining for himself may irritate others. Weapons: No weapons. Lapis Potentia: None. Biography: Jack recalls his past fondly, and believes he's lived a good life. Born with a silver tongue, his skill at conversation, debate, and history set him in the good graces of Ventus's politicians. Of them, Jack showed a particular interest in Aeryn Crossman, most likely due to her intelligence and drive, especially when it came to her inventions. He helped pave the way for her, laying the groundwork for her to be selected as the unofficial leader of the nation. Trusted by her, he was given the position of lead ambassador for her efforts, and often represents the nation in other countries. Other: Seems to take enjoyment in doing the unexpected.
Name: Aerona Teven Nicknames/Titles: Nothing befitting a Scholar. Age: 60 Race: Human Sex: Female Sexuality: Pansexual. Occupation: Spiritan Scholar Place of Birth: Spiritus Appearance: Despite being sixty years old, Aerona doesn’t look any older than upper twenties to maybe the upper thirties. She’s of decent height, around 5 feet, 6 inches, and of a rather average but slim build, weighing around 140 pounds. A little pale, her skin still has enough healthy hues to it to not be concerning. Her hair can only be described, simply put, as somewhat poofy, and is a rather bluish color. In contrast, her eyes are red. She often wears red, typically a dress, but she keeps a white coat as well. A bag hangs from a sash at her waist, where she stores various things. She can often be seen carrying a handmade fishing pole and an opium pipe as well. Personality: She's made up of odd mannerisms, to put it simply. While she’s obviously extremely intelligent, she doesn’t seem to choose to show it, instead asking questions to either obvious things or just things she already knows the answer to. It’s possible that by feigning this ignorance she’s attempting to teach others and get them to think on their own, but that’s debatable considering just how lazy she is. Aerona is almost ridiculously lazy. She doesn’t enjoy doing work, and avoids it as much as she can, preferring to fish instead. Fishing gives her time to relax and think while on her own, pondering whatever it is she ponders. She enjoys taking her time while doing things, not being rushed, but she seems to very rarely to get a chance to do that, according to her at least. Despite all of this, she gives off the air that she knows her skill, just how powerful she is, but she doesn’t dwell on it. She doesn’t talk down to others beyond somewhat embarrassing nicknames, and often keeps her speech somewhat colloquial despite her extensive knowledge and vocabulary. The fact that she often smokes opium also influences these habits. Likes: Fishing, sleeping, reading, alchemy, and opium. Dislikes: Being woken up, being made to do work, having to explain her thoughts, running out of opium, and mornings. Mornings suck. Strengths: The extent of Aerona’s abilities aren’t known, but her abilities with magick are obviously extreme. It would not be smart for someone to underestimate her just because her mannerisms aren’t… quite what one would expect from a woman of her position. Also, despite her rather old age for a human, she still appears as if she’s anywhere in her upper twenties to upper thirties. This is probably an example of her magick at work, that or the effect of someone who works as hard with the Lapis Potentia that she has… apparently. No one really sees that hard work anymore, not unless they're on an operating table. She’s also able to affect others with her presence; blame the Spiritus Lapis Potentia with that. With it, she’s able to either calm or excite others, to either their advantage or disadvantage. Weaknesses: Her laziness, apathy, and general lethargy is probably her biggest problem. Since she seems to have no desire to do anything besides fish, watch others, sleep, and smoke opium, things that should probably be done are never done. This obviously leads to issues later on that could easily have been avoided if she had taken proper steps to prevent them before. Opium is also a problem of her's; she loves the stuff, and often does it in inappropriate areas. In public, in the middle of meetings, it doesn't matter. If she has the desire to, she's doing it, damn the consequences. Weapons: Her intensely powerful Magick, plain and simple. Lapis Potentia: Can use Spiritan Magick without a Lapis Potentia, but also has Terran and Ventian Lapis Potentia within her.
General Offensive Abilities Earth Magick: Able to easily command the earth to move, either around her in general or in pinpoint locations. This can be anything from splitting the ground beneath an opponent, making them fall to catch them, or to create a spear that pierces through an opponent. She’s easily able to imitate an earthquake with her abilities, or go to even greater extremes and affect the battlefield around her to an almost ridiculous level. An extension of this is Nature magick, able to command plants to grow, change shape, etc.
Air Magick: Able to create extremely fast wind currents, moving them in such a way that they’re actually cutting attacks. She’s also fond of creating cyclones/tornadoes to deal with multiple opponents at once, or just one, as overkill is always an option. Can also create vacuums in chosen areas; when used in conjunction with her Earth Magick, when she has an opponent trapped, the result isn’t pretty. She’s able to create gusts of wind to lift and knock back opponents as well, or bring them forward to her.
Spirit/Mind Magick – Being the abilities she’s had the longest, these are the abilities she’s the best with. However, she doesn’t seem to be using them, seem being the operative word. Most likely, the entire time her opponent’s thoughts are being altered in some way or form; what the opponent is seeing may or may not be real. While she can easily create ridiculous illusions to confuse, frighten, and disarm her opponent, it’s a little more terrifying to realize that, after the battle, the opponent was probably under her influence the entire time, they not even realizing it. The extent of these powers under the “mind games” category is unknown, as there is no promise people have realized it’s happened to begin with. Another disturbing tactic is when the opponent’s body is turned against them or their allies; it’s certainly frightening when your limbs stop obeying your commands, to say the least. Other abilities she has are telekinesis and telepathy.
General Defensive Abilities Earth Magick: The manipulation of earth (and nature, for that matter) can be used for more than just attacks. She can create large defenses with the earth, forming walls, shields, and domes, all to keep attacks away. If someone charges her, it’s all too easy to open a rift in the earth and watch them fall. By moving the earth she can also move herself without taking a stepping, dodging or moving into a better position with ease. Raising the earth beneath herself, lowering it, it’s an extremely quick and efficient way to move in nearly all directions.
Air Magick: With the manipulation of air, Aerona can divert attacks that are directed at her, sending them harmlessly past her. Gusts of air can even be used to turn attacks back against those who sent them, which is certainly a surprise. Other things that air can be used for defensively is also movement; using gusts or air she can move herself more quickly if she actually desires to walk or, in the extremely rare occasion, run, and she can also use gusts of air to send her up in the air, and actually remain afloat.
Spirit/Mind Magick: Do not attempt to use any of this kind of Magick against her. It will be turned against the opponent, and the results will be less than desired. Biography: Aerona was always meant for greater things, and she refused them. From a very young age she showed the signs of natural Magick that was so eagerly sought after by Spiritans, and she was groomed for the position of High Magus. However, as the training went on and on, she plotted to herself, and just before she would officially take the position she simply... disappeared. The position then fell upon her childhood friend Tynan Hawthorne, and for awhile Aerona was gone. Only after Tynan became Grand Magus Aerona returned, to serve as a Scholar instead. Other: Aerona just wants to relax and take it easy.
