Hey Everyone. General interest check here for a new type of tourney type of arena battle. It's name comes from someone on this website a long long time ago who started it GFFNR (Gunfight for no reason) is at it's core just that. There are no character sheets. Your character is described and fleshed out during your battle but your character remains the same throughout the entirety of the "season." All weapons and starting gear must be declared in opening post, however, you may improvise weapons throughout the fight. The tournament is single elimination, so once your character dies that character is retired. A judge determines the winner and the winner then gets a final post to either kill the character or leave them be at their discretion. The setting is typically modern and uses no magic or races other than human. Settings are typically determined by the combatant that posts first.
