2857, May 25th, New Altaia, Liliane's Sky Cathedral
Liliane's Sky Cathedral, or simply the Cathedral, is one of the five Soaring Holds. The origin of the Soaring Holds is a subject of debate among their current denizens, but their purpose is clear. For the last several generations they have scoured the surface of the world, each seeking new lands to call home. Despite this unity of purpose, not all is well within the Cathedral. For the last two decades the Cathedral's government has been controlled by a religiously driven military regime. Their leader, the Paladin, oversees the operation of the city from the mysterious Tower of Heaven in the center of the Inner Sanctum.
There are only two individuals who may speak to the Paladin directly, they are then trusted to relay his commands to the military who enforce the Paladin's orders on the rest of the city's populace. Without representation, or any manner in which to appeal to their aloof dictator, many of the Cathedral's residents have become displeased under this strict and totalitarian rule, leading what the people had hoped would never be necessary. Civil War.
Yet, even though their cause is just, many of the rebellious districts have grown corrupt and begun to mimic the very regime they aim to topple. This unrest and lack of trust between the rebels has ground the revolt to a stand still, and while the rebels scramble to organize themselves and find a true leader, the Mysterious captain bides the time, watching ever onwards from the ominous tower of heaven.
Altaia, there was once a time when all had known the name. The grand nation had spanned the entirety of the known world, with a powerful and elite hex driven military, opposing nations would fall at its feet and beg for mercy. This illustrious empire had 8 legendary Capitol cities. It was said that nothing could penetrate the ancient and thick walls that defended each one.
Together these great cities were known as 'The Seven Jewels'. Altaia was grand, and for a hundred years following it's successful conquering of the known world, a great peace settled across the land. Despite this however, Altaia was stricken by the same fate as all great empires, the fate to fall. none had expected it, for it came from within. Deep within the underbelly of the First Jewel of Altaia, The king's capitol, a legendary hex was uncovered. A hex of such irrefutable power, that it bathed the entire nation in darkness.
From this darkness a small light grew however, for the seven remaining Jewels had discovered the key to their survival. With the power of the phoenix hex's, the cities rose from the fallen nation, and set to the horizon, seeking a brighter future...
The Outer Sanctum:
Population 3379:
Districts:
The Water District This District uses the heat produced by the Phoenix hex to boil rainwater, that is then sent out to the rest of the ship. This is the most valued of the districts, for it is the only one that actively produces water for the other districts. Surprisingly this district was one of the first to turn against the military. The kind hearted people of this district could not stand to hear of the military's brash actions in the Fire district, and they were quick to join the cause. This district did not have much to offer the rebellion in the form of military however, and they were soon overlooked as insignificant to the cause. As tensions build, the district becomes less and less sure of the morality behind the rebellions cause. Many anti rebel rumors have began spreading. Specifically regarding the treatment of the flight District. A counter Rebel force may be forming here, and that frightens the Rebel leaders of the fire district.
Flight District This District Covered the training of Pegasus riders and their mounts. The following document shows a Pegasus rider flying through the flight district:
This district was the last to come under rebel control. It was invaded by its neighbors. The citizens of this district are the made up mostly of the loved ones of military troops. Wives, children, and now orphans, and widows, all have been force-ably brought under Rebel rule. The true nature of the Rebels is shown most here. The Contradiction is blatant. Rebel troops in this area openly oppress and degrade all military and ex military currently resided here. Here the pain of war is most apparent. Food is scarce, disease has almost completely taken over, and the once beautiful Pegasus flying over head have been taken away from them for the good of the Rebellion. Pegasus riders are still being trained here, but the once bustling and lively district that stood here has been replaced by a muddied district of sour thoughts and missing loved ones.
The Machiner's District (Known commonly as Tinkerton) Acredtited to Cartwright:This district was a district that focused primarily on education and research. There were monasteries, labs, and churches scattered about the district with their own beliefs and studies. It was in a sense for the more intelligent people who focused on improving the livelihood of those in the outer sanctum. They weren't the military's favorite district but they weren't the most crime ridden districts around. It was somewhat clean and those who lived in the district were more lenient than other districts.
The Fire District This District is charged with the literal production of flame. Seven large boilers are kept running day in and day out. The constant need for heat to stabilize the phoenix hex has taken its toll on this district most. It was here that talk of rebellion first started, this being the most militaristic and oppressed area of the outer sanctum. The rough and working life style of the people here has left them as strong able bodied workers. Rebels from this district have been named 'Ragers', and for good reason too. The hatred they feel in their hearts for the military and the residents of the inner sanctum burns brighter than any flame. True warriors are made here. This is a place of strength, where the weak are shunned, and the strong find glory.
The Carpenter's District This District is responsible for any finished products (Couch's, houses, jewelry) as well as their distribution. This district resembles one massive construction yard, with some houses checker boarded throughout. This district is much like the fire district, yet tamer. It took quite a bit longer for them to join the rebel movement. The level headed men and women of this district make great strategists. Years of training with diagrams and blueprints have allowed them to be able to quickly map out the entire city and organize the passing on of information in their district. This is arguably the most threatening district to the Military, simply because of their uncanny ability to organize their forces.
The Farmer's District This district is a massive artificial farm land and it is responsible for the production and distribution of all food resources. One of the last districts to turn against the military, The Farmer's district was the most valuable of the districts under military control. Many farm owners were bribed to stop sending goods to the rebel Districts. This worked for a time, but the sheer number of farmers being controlled by the few contacts the military had here soon became to much to reign down. The military was forced to pull out in a mass uprising of discontented farmers. The farmers of this district are tough as nails, but not overly intelligent. They find true strength in numbers, and are the most populated of the districts. Currently the Farmers district is a place of chaos and revelry. Crime has spiked and crops are being neglected. If this trend continues, they will soon crumble under their own weight.
The Thieves Guild Based within the Carpenter's District, this secretive guild is rumored to have connections in both the resistance and the military.
The Inner Sanctum
Population: 1373
Home to the Military Headquarters, Training grounds, Barracks, and the Spire of the Heavens. This area is the last military controlled zone, however it was initially built to be self sufficient; so the military has simply shut themselves in, biding their time for when the resistance is weakest.
The Lower Sanctum This is the underbelly of the ship, most of which is filled by the massive phoenix hex that spans the entirety of the ship. Above it is a maze of corridors and boiler rooms that keep the fires going. The Phoenix hex is the only hex capable of being powered through a means other than mana. That means is fire, And perhaps this fact is the secret to finding the secret entrance to this dark place. Many military secrets are held here, and some may be best left undiscovered...
The War As previously mentioned the ship has broken out into civil war in the past months. The Resistance is comprised of the people that reside in the outer sanctum, fed up with mistreatment and unfair enforcement, they lashed out. So far the campaign as been successful, but a seemingly insurmountable barrier has been raised. The Inner Sanctum has been completely shut off from the outer. The resistance lacks leadership, and is losing heart. All while the military sits back and watches. It is time for leaders to arise, for secrets to be uncovered.
Throughout both The Cathedral and the world below are mysterious artifacts known as hexes, no one know the origin of these devices, but the power they hold has been known to topple entire era's.
The hex is a smooth, six sided, and hexagonal device that allows a creature to tap into an otherwise benign force within them known as mana. Mana is held within the mana pool, it works much like a muscle, the more it is used the larger and stronger it becomes, allowing for longer and higher usage. Hexes use this 'Mana' to effect the world around the wielder in unique ways. with uses varying from increasing your cooking skill, to blowing up planets, hexes are extremely useful, and valuable, with even the weakest catching ridiculously high prices. Hexes can be used to imbue items with certain properties. The item must meet two requirements before being able to be used however;
1: It will have to be capable of withstanding the effect of the hex (IE: a wooden sword imbued with a hex of fire... you get the point.)
2: The item will have to have a hex slot. Hex slots are of the exact dimensions of the hexes themselves and can take in a hex as long as one is not already present.
Hexes vary in size as much as they do in effect and strength. The largest hex known is the phoenix hex, which spans the entire underside of Liliane's cathedral.

Structure: The Government is somewhat military based; At the top of the pyramid is the mysterious Paladin. His/her identity is not known to the public, and the rare times that he/her appears are in public broadcasts overlaid through a network of hex powered speaker poles throughout the city. The voice is distorted by a hex powered device as well, making it impossible to tell the Paladin's gender.
Directly inferior to the Paladin authority wise are two individuals. The Arch Deacon and Military General. The Arch Deacon organizes all church, and political matters. While the Military General is in control of resource management and military affairs. Both take orders directly from the Paladin and are the only one's trusted with his/her identity.
Below the Military General are Four Sub Generals, each responsible for managing a different aspect of the military. All four work separately, and prefer it that way. They have their own way of doing things, and that is the way they like it. Each general Leads around 250 troops. Number the actually military at about a 1000.
The first general heads The Palace Guard. They are mostly responsible for guarding the Inner Sanctum, and can be see posted at any gates from the outer to Inner Sanctum's.
The First General
Name: Adela Bennett
Age: 28
Home District: Farmer's District
Race: Human
Personality: Indiscriminately cold and resilient Adela displays no sign of emotion wearing a stoic expression at all times. Despite being raised in the Farmer's District, which is believed to be the most uneducated portion of the Cathedral, she speaks in a tone of one who is well educated, similar to the old nobility; This same mannerism might also explain her unusual fascination with the Chivalric Code, despite her lack of the required feelings. However, her unbridled loyalty to the military conflicts this as she was more than ready to cut down innocent civilians to 'restore order'.
Physical Description:
History:
Gear
Weapons:
Asura - A wakizashi of about three and a half feet long sporting a sheening black blade with a red wave traversing the cutting edge and a gold oblong guard of six inches in diameter concealed within a black sheath. The sword is outfitted with a fairly simple grid.
Hexes:
Backlash [Single; Close/Ranged Combat]- Allows for the manifestation of one's own mana into a thrown energy projectile, activated by applying mana in unison with any attack.
Gale [Single; Self Support; Close/Ranged Combat] - Allows minor manipulation of the air in the surrounding area effectively allowing for increased speed and temporary flight, also ossesses combat potential by creating blades of air that act as vacuums; Combat effectiveness is doubled when used alongside Backlash.
Sentinel [Single; Self Support] - Creates a shield of varying size and stability that is dependent upon the amount of mana focused by the user.
Doppelganger [Cross; Self Buff] - Allows for the creation of an exact duplicate of the item it is currently slotted in.
Charge [Cross; Weapon Buff] - Allow the user to store mana within their weapon for later use to increase their damage dealing potential. Most weapons that possess this hex have a tell such as leaving a trail of energy after an attack, a glowing body, or even more subtle effects.
Endowment [Line; Hex Buff; Connects Doppelganger to Backlash] - Allows the duplicated Asura to make use of the Backlash Hex.
Endowment [Line; Hex Buff; Connects Sentinel to Charge] Allows stored mana to be used to increase the effectiveness of the shield created by the Sentinel Hex.
Dainsclef - A saber five feet in length with a stunning platinum blade accented by a gold oblong hilt six inches in diameter housed inside a black sheath that are exact copies of Asura's to throw off opponents that suspect Adela to rely solely on slashing weapons. Aditionally, there is a single chrysanthemum tied off near the end of her sheath. Unlike her katana, Dainsclef is her trump card and its grid reflects this as every slot was filled with only the most valuable of her Hexes.
Hexes:
Phantom [Cross; Weapon Buff] - Creates a corporeal afterimage of any attack by the slotted weapon in addition to any Hex effects that might have been used.
Overdrive [Cross; Self Buff] - An unusual hex that stirs up the user's mana pool sending them into a superhuman state which increases strength, agility, endurance, and perception.
Wrath [Cross; Close/Ranged Combat] - Releases an explosion of mana in the surrounding vicinity up to 3 meters. If the weapon is drove into the ground it can send the mana through the ground to a distant target where it unleashes the same result as normal use.
Doppelganger [Cross; Self Buff] - Creates an exact duplicate of the item it is currently slotted in.
Endowment [Line; Hex Buff; Connects Phantom to Overdrive and Wrath] - Connects Adela's offensive Hexes.
Endowment [Line; Hex Buff; Connects Doppelganger to Endowment] - Connects Doppelganger to the primary Endowment Hex allowing for the duplicated Dainsclef to retain use of the original's grid.
Armor:
General's Coat - A black coat belonging to Adela Bennett, one of Altaia's Five Generals, created using an odd multi-threading technique combined with an experimental technique that weaves in strands of alloyed steel allowing for resistance to heavy wear and tear as well as attacks from bladed weapons.
Swordsman's Cape - An incredibly lightweight cape given to Adela Bennett upon becoming one of the Five Generals; The insignia on the cape depicts a rapier piercing a quarter note through the center. It bolsters a resistance to slash damage despite its cloth components.
Equipment:
General's Armband - A light blue armband with the outline of a quarter note emblazoned on it that merely denotes Adela's position as the commanding officer of her division.
Abilities:
Stylist: Adela fights using multiples sword styles ranging from the use of one sword up to four at once. She has spent years conditioning her body and mind to the point she is able to fluidly transition through multiple styles in a matter of moments unleashing countless techniques that would overwhelm any opponent.
Single Handed: A style that is used primarily with Asura against opponents whom she deems to weak to waste time on; should an opponent prove their worth, she will wield Dainsclef instead. This style is more or less her way of toying with strong opponents and utterly embarrassing weaklings.
Dual Style: A style in which, depending upon the situation, Adela will wield both Asura and Dainsclef or a duplicate Asura. This style focuses on blinding speed and linking special attacks.
Triple Sword Style: A style where Adela summons a duplicate blade in addition to Asura and Dainsclef wielding the third between her teeth. This style builds upon the Dual Style by using Overdrive to increase her speed and the impact of her attacks.
Four Swords: Summoning both duplicates Adela juggles the weapons swapping between them activating multiple hexes in rapid succession. This is her ultimate style and the amount of utter destruction it causes reflects that as any opponent,as well as the environment, that has forced her to use it has been reduced to nothing more than a pile of rubble.
The Second General
She heads the force known commonly as 'The Shadows'. They are charged with hunting down and eliminating high profile criminals that have proven to difficult for The Inquisitors (to be Covered Later)
Name: Known only as 'General Fang'.
Physical Appearance
Age: Unknown, seemingly 30 to 35.
Home District: Machiner's District
Race: Lucresian, Wolf - Artificially enhanced.
Personality: Bloodthirsty and insatiable, she loves nothing more than the hunt. She revels in making her prey squirm and the new rebellion has her hands full with new things to hunt. Fang refuses to cooperate with any of the other Generals. If not for the 100% success rate she boasts she would have lost her position years ago. She heads The Hunters Division, who operate in small three man groups. They carry out assassins and are argue-ably the best trained soldiers in the army. Standard issue hexes are all illusion based and training is constant. They are always ready, and willing to go on the hunt.
History: Fang is the only mortal being known who has successfully merged a hex with their own body. Not only has she done it once, but five times. Her body grows stronger the more into a fight she gets. Until eventually she is transformed into an over sized Saber tooth tiger. Not much is known about her past. Only that she was once a brilliant hex researcher from the Machiner's District. Apparently a experiment went horrible wrong and she emerged as she is now. The only hex modified biological creature known to man. Her divisions Insignia is a black wolf on white background.
Gear: Custom forged body armor; She is brilliant with hexes and has forged them into her armor. They passively increase her speed, strength, and silence her movement.
Mask of the Beast: within the mask is an illusory hex that causes any who look at it too recoil in fear from her. She takes the form of their worst nightmare.
Assassin's hood: Her hooded cloak has a shadow hex within it that allows her to blend into shadows.
Hexes within her body:
Hex of Bestial Rage: Located with her left pupil. As her excitement rises her mana is transformed into something she calls rage. Once all of her mana has been converted her other hexes become active and her speed, strength, and perception are multiplied by 3x, she then begins to glow red. Her mana is not consumed, but becomes something else entirely.
Hex of the Tricks of the Trade: This hex activates upon reaching full rage. She gains the ability to create three clones of herself. She can switch positions with the clones in a single moment. The clones dissipate upon taking damage, upon dispersion they consume rage.
Hex of Predators Instinct: This hex activates upon reaching full rage. Fang can smell the blood of her foes. This hex passively saps her Rage.
Hex of the Beast: This hex can be activated upon reaching full rage. All of her current rage is consumed and she takes the form of the beast. Literally transforming into a massive Saber tooth. Size, strength, speed, and duration she is in this form are all dependent on how much rage was absorbed.
Skills: Because of her almost abusive use of hexes her mana pool and mana Regen are extremely high. The more she uses hexes the harder it is for her to enter a state of rage. So she is constantly searching for more and more difficult opponents. The only one who as ever fought her and lived is Adela Bernett, They fought for an entire day and it ended in a draw with both badly wounded.
The Third General
The General of the Inquisitor's, is known mostly for his ruthlessness, His unit is charged with enforcing the laws of the Paladin and the Church.
Name: Messina Crux
Age: 39
Home District: Machiner's District
Race: Human(?)
Personality: A largely silent man who rarely speaks for extended periods of time, but any and everyone will argue that his slightest actions speak volumes about his intentions. At one time he was a kind and warm fellow who sought to better the lives of his fellow man, but after an incident known to only a few individuals, one of which happens to be General Fang or Kitty Cat to Messina, he became a stone wall devoid of emotions. Many believe him and General Bennet to be good friends due to their similar dispositions, but in reality they hate each other with a passion and the gap between Adela's emo outlook on everything is dwarfed, an understatement, by the hate Crux feels towards the world and his power lust. If he could set the world on fire he would slow roast it just to enjoy the screams of agony before devouring it.
Physical Description: http://s28.postimg.org/k6dbw7asd/gungrave.jpg
History: "General Messina Crux... A man of no words forcing his will upon the world cutting down women and children as if it was going out of style. He wasn't always this way... I never believed killing was the answer, but then again that was the only time I can recall being an ignorant pygmy.", snorting the man looked over to an individual lying in a pool of his own blood, "Earlier you asked me why? You don't have much time left, so I guess I can humor you." Reaching over grabbing a bottle of Skyward Ale off the counter the General popped the cap off the neck in a single fluid motion turning it up, letting the warm liquid slide down his throat before lowering and returning it to the counter. "I was born in the Machiner's District to Avelier Crux, maybe you know 'im?", changing the tone of his voice to one of sarcasm, "The greatest inventor in all of Lilliane's Cathedral!", returning his voice to normal letting out a pretentious grunt. "He was the biggest... well second biggest fool I've ever known. He had hopes that I would follow in his footsteps and I almost did, ALMOST." Taking another sip of his drink before continuing he held it out to the dying man, "How rude of me! Would you like some?", letting out a chuckle he pulled it back, "No, of course not. That's good this stuff'll kill you mate." Taking a moment to remember where he was, "Anyways, one day there was a knock on our door and my father went to answer it. Minutes later, curious I went to see what was taking him so long and what do you think I saw? That's right! I saw Mister Jaeger, a good friend of my father's, standing over his body holding a bloody blade; I was scared, paralyzed by the sight of my eviscerated father and the fear of being killed. Jaeger must have felt the same way because no sooner had he saw me he lunged at me with a killing intent in his eyes, the closer he drew to me the slower everything played out, my heart slowed so much it felt like hours between beats and I could count every pore on that poor fools face, but more than anything I had a million thoughts racing through my head every second. I was trying to rationalize why my father was killed, why it was his friend whom he helped at many times throughout his life was the one to kill him, why it wasn't someone who actually deserved to die, what could I do to stop it from happening ever again, and I thought and thought and thought and for what felt like a century I thought. I was looking for an answer, one that was so complex no one could comprehend it and after so long I realized it was so painstakingly simple that only a complete idiot could see it." Downing a large portion of his drink Crux Slammed the bottle onto the wooden counter splintering the surface, but somehow leaving the fragile container intact, "Life and Death are nebulous, the name of the game is power and the individual with power has the upper hand. For me to survive, I had to obtain power or in that situation I had to regain my nerves and cool. I let everything go... all of my fear, all of my pain, all of my love, everything..."
"After reaching this conclusion everything started to pick up again, Mister Jaeger returned to rushing at me full speed, but I was no longer paralyzed. Reaching over to the workbench I was standing by I grabbed a wrench just as he lunged and jumped out of the way, it was a bad idea throwing all of his weight into that single attack because he hit the bench so hard it knocked the wind out of him leaving him vulnerable. Did I take the opportunity to run and inform the soldiers? No, I took my sweet time bashing his brains in with my father's wrench. Every swing brought me pleasure, after the fifth or sixth... shit, I won't lie to you I don't even remember which hit it was was, but after a while I was so high from the pleasure I was just wailing on a pile of brain matter and bits of skull with hair still attached." Looking over to his audience, "You still alive over there?... Guess not." Chuckling to himself finishing his drink, "Too bad, the story only got better from there."
[Second Half of History from Personal File]
After finding his father lying on the floor dead from an unprovoked attack by longtime friend Lucious Jaeger, Messina Crux was targeted by the assailant and managed to get his hands on a nearby wrench and defend himself. By the time a Soldier was notified and arrived Messina had completely destroyed the man's skull most likely from the adrenaline and fear, no charges were brought up and it was deemed as use of necessary force and self defense. Being fifteen at the time he was old enough to join the Military, but only the Peace Keeper Division and expressed interest to start a career in said field which was promptly approved. Crux's first training session could only be described as a complete failure, but he was determined and persevered as demonstrated only hours later as he quickly picked up the intricacies of hand-to-hand combat and the use of armaments the following day. At the same we were training General Fang, whom has met Crux several times before but that is to be expected among the populace of the Machiner's District, the two appeared to be on unfriendly terms and he referred to her as Kitty Cat multiple times throughout a single encounter.
Over the years Messina's improvement was unfathomable as he rose through the ranks at a staggering speed being appointed as one of the Five Generals at the age of twenty - six. Due to his cunning and ruthless nature he is the first General to be given limited power and accountability, but even so he was still the first of the Generals to be sent into the City once the Rebellion started.

SPOTS NOW OPEN!!!! YAY!!!
Races:
Keeton/Kitsune:
The Kitsune are a race of fox like creature's that are seemingly ageless. They live in secluded villages and steer clear of almost all outside interaction. Any but the most experienced adventurers would show surprise at sighting one. These creatures are believed by most to be simply legend, but in truth they are all too real, and are forced to conceal their identities for fear of poachers after their highly valued fur.
The Kitsune aging process is extremely similar to that of a caterpillar, the only difference being that they can enter the cocoon state multiple times. What triggers this event is completely unknown and it can happen anywhere from every one to two years, too every one or two weeks. When born the Kitsune has but a single fox tail, none of its racial powers are present and it looks completely like a newborn human child other than the fox ears and tail as well as slightly sharper teeth. The Kitsune does not age naturally, instead it enters a cocoon state 5 to seven years after birth and emerges looking like a 9 to 13 year old human child with three fox tails (usually white tipped). The second Cocoon state usually happens around the age of twenty and causes the Keeton to emerge as a young adult (19-24) with beautiful features and six tails. The Cocooning process then repeats randomly for the rest of the Keeton's life (250-300 years) the Keeton does not age physically from this point but each time exits cocooning with three more tails. The number of tails a Keeton has determines how many and how often a Keeton can use his/her abilities. Usually dependent on moon cycles.
Abilities: A keeton can turn invisible for ten minutes every moon cycle for each six tail set it has. This invisibility can be spread over multiple instances or used all at once. once the used up the Keeton will have to wait the full moon cycle in order to regain the power.
Each day a Keeton can levatate for 25 minutes for each set of three tails it has.
Each moon cycle a keeton can teleport 10 meters for each 3 tails it has.
A Keeton with 21 or more tails can summon a fox spirit for twenty minutes every moon cycle
A Keeton with 60 or more tails can leave its own body for an hour every moon cycle it cannot physically affect the world however it can observe and move through all physical objects.
A Keeton with 120 or more tails can activate the wrath of the Goddess every moon cycle, enabling the keeton to summon 99 fox spirits to assault enemies for a time. (Ultimate Keeton ability)

Other: Keeton's are elegant creatures when seen from afar, yet when taken a closer look they are playful and mischievous, often delving into the problems of other races without much forethought. Keeton are very shy however and are easily scared off. It is said that to gain the good will of a Keeton is to gain a life of good luck.

Elden: The oldest known race to date, Elden are the closest living creatures to death and have been coined with the derogatory title 'Undead' as a result. Elden seem to be regular humans, but have a secret that can only be sen by other Elden. An Elden's Soul is held outside of their body. The soul of an Elden is usually a feral, and protective beast, that will lash out on those who try to physically harm the Elden. The Elden itself has no control over its soul. Making them effective but volatile fighters. An Elden's soul is completely instinctual and will not speak to the Elden in anyway. The souls appearance is dependent on the Elden's personality. The soul cannot be seen by non Elden until the soul has become enraged, this happens when the Elden it is attached to takes some degree of physical harm. The amount is dependent on the soul's nature.
The soul has no powers, it is simply a large body with extremely high physical strength. It usually holds some sort of weapon. The Elden can be seen often holding said weapon when the soul is docile. The soul can unleash a high pitched shriek that Elden are immune too upon it entering a state of rage. This shriek deafens those who hear for 3 to 9 minutes. It acts in the same way a a flash bang grenade without the flash.
