So, if you don't know what this is by now, you probably haven't played DOT Hack. before. I am making this to see who would be interested in doing a group Rp of it. The plot would be different, non of the original characters would be about (Maybe a few cameos but none of the main characters)

For those who don't know. DOT Hack is about virtual reality game called The World however users started to randomly go into comas and never come out. Now, our characters will be in charge of investigating these comas, find out why they are happening and how to stop it. There will be some mystery involved in this Rp as you try to understand what is happening. Those who played the games however will already know a lot of what is happening and may be able to predict some plot points. That doesn't mean it will all be the same however but there certainly will be certain events that is taken from the games.

So as you should all know who have played the game, .HACK works on a Keyword system. You enter three keywords into the Chaos Gate, those three keywords create a unique world. Based on the keywords everything can change. Monsters, dungeons, level of the area, etc. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different combinations. So this is how it is going to work. Considering we will most likely be going places on our own in the beginning, until we 'Add' each other. I will place the Keywords here. You will roleplay your character inputting these keywords into the Chaos Gate then you will end your post there. The reason for this is because some areas are LOCKED and under MAINTENANCE, aka inaccessible. Only one character, randomly chosen will get an item which will be able to bypass these locked areas. (I do not know what I am going to use to do this yet. Any ideas would be fantastic)



Like I said, hundreds of possibilities. So now for the races.

Now in the game you different see many different races but this is where I will differ. I will allow you to be the following:

The World is opening for the first time, there hasn't been any problems so far. SO FAR. As you should all know by now, people start to randomly going into comas and certain areas are corrupted. In game, you had forums you could check out to see what other 'Users' were saying.

Delta Δ: Root Town = Mac Anu
Theta Θ: Root Town = Dun Loireag
Lambda Λ: Root Town = Carmina Gadelica
Sigma Σ: Root Town = Fort Ouph
Omega Ω: Root Town = Lia Fail

If you want to make a 'Thread' or 'Comment' to certain things, for example you found an inaccessible area, you can do. This will let other characters know about what is going on. Now, for the character sheet.

With skills, you can have as many as you want. The only requirement is you list what Lv you will get them at. For example, a warrior type.

Earth Shatter: With a single blow, can shatter the earth causing earthquakes. This damages all enemies who are hit. (Lv 10)

Something like that. Everyone is allowed one character. That character will be your 'Username' in the game forums. You don't have to comment or make threads but it is HIGHLY recommended you check them out from time to time, as there could be important information on there. I will update you when there is something new to read as the game did. This will be your only notification.

@Ambra For the races, they are there. The Beast Race are the rabbitmorph, the nekos, etc. Then for the Elves, they're up there too.

The Grunty race was never a playable race, but was a pet you could raise. If I have actually missed out any playable races, let me know and I'll add it. ^^

Personality: Sarah is a kind and caring person. She will often go out of her way to make friends and form parties with other players. She will constantly check the forums and often post things there herself to try and help new players. Sarah is very smart, she always thinks ahead and is often able to solve things faster than others can. She is extremely curious, and is often wondering why things are the way they are.

Bio: Sarah created a Lalafell, the smallest race you could be. She then chose to be a summoner as she liked the idea of always having a little back up even when she was solo. She had waited forever for this game to come out. She was one of the first people to buy the game on the day it released. She was even one of the Beta Testers of the game so she knows quite a lot about it already. Her first goal was to make as many friends as possible, form parties and help others whenever she could.

Skills: Ruin: Ruin is a simple spell which sends a orb of magical energy at a single target to deal damage. (Lv 1)

Bio: User sends a blast of magical bacteria and gasses at target, dealing damage over time. (Lv 2)

Physick: User heals a single target for some hp. (Lv 4)
Summon Lv 1: User summons a low level monster to fight in battle. (Lv 4)

Energy Drain: User drains magical energy from a single target, dealing damage and restoring MP. (Lv 6)

Miasma: User summons a mini black hole which lasts 5 seconds, dealing damage over time. (Lv 10)

Stun: User stuns enemy for 3 seconds while doing minor damage. (Lv 12)

Acid: User shoots out acidic acid at target doing damage. (Lv 15)

Break: User breaks the will of target, dealing damage and reducing enemies damage. (Lv 16)

Diversion: Reduces thread generation (Lv 17)
Ruin 2: User sends a large magic energy blast at target which deals moderate damage (Lv 17)

Bio 2: User sends a blast of magical bacteria and gasses at target, dealing a moderate amount of damage over time. (Lv 19)

Protect: User casts a magic barrier that reduces physical damage to one target. (Lv 20)

Lucid Dreaming: Threat generation reduced by half. (Lv 25)
Physick 2: User heals a single target for a moderate amount of hp.

Swiftcast: The next spell will be casted immediately. (Lv 32)
Drain: The user drains health from the target, dealing dealing and healing the user. (Lv 32)

Mana Gift: User gives 20% of own mana to a party member (Lv 36)
Miasma 2: User summons a small black hole which lasts 5 seconds, dealing a moderate amount of damage over time. (Lv 36)

Surecast: The next spell is casted without interruption. (Lv 40)

Erase: User removes all negative effects of one part member. (Lv 45)
Acid 2: User shoots out acidic acid at target doing a moderate amount of damage. (Lv 45)

Drain 2: The user drains a moderate amount of health from the target, dealing moderate dealing and healing the user. (48)

Summon 2: User summons a monster to fight in battle. It's level is always half of the user's level. (Level 50)

Absorb: User absorbs summoning and gains health and mana that the current summoning has left. However, you cannot the cast time to summon again is increased to 5 minutes. (Lv 55)

Energy Drain Lv 2: User drains magical energy from a single target, dealing moderate amount of damage and restoring a moderate amount of MP. (Lv 60)

Ruin 3: User sends a large magic energy blast at target which deals a large amount of damage (65)

Bio 3: User sends a blast of magical bacteria and gasses at target, dealing a large amount of damage over time. (Lv 70)

Miasma 3: User summons a large black hole which lasts 10 seconds, dealing a large amount of damage over time. (Lv 75)

Acid 3: User shoots out acidic acid at target doing a large amount of damage. (Lv 80)

Energy Drain 3: User drains magical energy from a single target, dealing a large amount of damage and restoring a large amount of MP. (Lv 85)

Drain 3: The user drains a large amount of health from the target, dealing a large amount of dealing and healing the user. (Lv 90)

Physick 3: User heals a single target for a large amount of hp. (Lv 95)

Summon 3: User summons a powerful monster to fight in battle. It's level is now always the same lv as the user.
