Jeff doesn't really motivate himself to look good. Every day, he shows up to school wearing the same raggedy jacket and the war-torn tennis shoes that have spent at least three years of constant use. His hair is always disheveled and far too long for a boy his age, which, combined with his twisted fashion sense, makes him look like a ghost possessing some homeless kid. Strangely enough, no one has seen a single strand of hair popping out of his chin, proving that he does indeed shave regularly, at the very least. If there's anything that's objectively the creepiest out of all of Jeff's strange appearance, it has to be his soulless gray eyes. He hardly ever blinks!

His weight and body type have always been a source of worry to his classmates and teachers. Often, his teachers would notice him slouched over his desk at the very back of the room without snoring, and he wouldn't wake up until a few periods later, where he'd slip away without a single word and seek refuge in the boys' bathroom.

Personality:

To be honest, he doesn't appear to have one. Everyone who'd try to start a conversation with Jeff would be answered with a blank shake of his head, and if he were forced to speak, such as when he's called by a professor to answer a question, he'd answer with a dead, monotone voice.

He barely ever explains the origin or the motive behind his behavior, but the answer is simple: He doesn't consider himself "gifted". Deep down inside, what he wants to see the most is the success of his classmates, but he's concluded that the only way he can help his classmates and everyone around him is by offering himself as a counterexample to what he believes a "gifted" person acts like.

History:

Very little is known. Apparently, his parents or caretakers had quite the high income, seeing as the ragged jacket he wears every day to school used to be worth around $200 dollars at the time. Also, all of the expenses for his move to Seattle were paid for by an anonymous donor. However, his teachers have never managed to get ahold of Jeff's legal guardian... if he ever had any to begin with.

He always scored straight As on his report card, but he'd deliberately leave test answers in blank so as not to end up with the absolute highest of grades in the class when the final grades would come up. He'd always end up as the #2 position in the class, and he'd be more than satisfied with these results. He would have loved to score much lower on the ladder, but he'd always dream of motivating gifted students at Casper High, claiming that motivating the cream of the world's crop was his calling. His stellar performance at standardized tests and a perfect score on the school's entrance exam made him a shoo-in for the "gifted" group.

Thanks for the sheet. I have one big worry about your character I'd like to discuss. I worry that his offputing and quite nature may cause him to avoid interactions with other members of the group. It sounds like he puts alot of weight into helping others succeed, but would have a hard time actually doing that due to his behavior. I think that he is definitely role-playable, I just wanna make sure there's an understanding that he has to communicate enough to become and stay part of the group, and not to rely on other characters to "force" him into scenes.

Also it would be nice if you PM me a little more about his background. It will be fun for other characters to find out about his mystery over time, but I want to make sure it isn't too out there or anything.

Appearance
Eden is a very short and petite doll-like girl with short and slightly wavy light chestnut hair, her bangs often parted to her left to cover her melon green left eye and expose her similar chestnut colored right eye; she had always been self conscious about her heterochromia. Her skin is light pink in color and is very sensitive to the cold and extreme weather. Her casual wear usually consists of dresses in very light colors. She always has on long sleeves that cover up to the palm of her hands, even in the summer.

Personality
Eden is very intelligent, but she also has a very meek, paranoid, fragile, and timid personality with extremely low self-esteem. She is very shy and apologizes a lot all with a nervous stutter - it's easy to intimidate her to the point of tears. She constantly worries about annoying, boring or offending others, however, she also loves to talk about anything related to her interests such as art and cooking and she becomes more lively whenever either topic is brought up.

Eden is one of the kindest and softest people you'll ever meet. As her talent in both art and the culinary field would imply, Eden is decently knowledgeable, intelligent and generally wants to be liked by and make other people happy, but her utter lack of confidence and wish to not be a bother causes her to rarely assert herself or state her feelings openly; if she feels the need, she will more than likely ask for permission from her peers to do so. Because of her constant nervousness, Eden is rather clumsy, often tripping over herself and breaking things left and right. Since Eden's social intuition is generally poor, if there is an awkward pause in a conversation, she will immediately begin to panic and apologize, believing it to be her fault. Expect to hear a lot of apologies from this girl.

Once someone manages to get through her very defensive personality, Eden is a very nice and warm person, wanting nothing more but to make the people that chose to spend time with her happy. Whether it's sketching something for them, or baking them cookies, Eden will stop at nothing to ensure that those she cares about are happy and safe. She has been known to be extra clumsy around boys though, so watch out!

History
Eden Blake was born as a twin in New York City to a loving mother and father. She and her little brother by five minutes were special in that they both sported heterochromia; in Eden's case, she had a left green eye and a right brown eye. Her parents saw them as little blessings and miracles and for good reason too. Both children were healthy and happy, exuding a strong sense of confidence wherever they went. The twins were very close to each other, but the brother, Adam, would tend to spend more time with their father as they grew up, resulting in Eden looking to her mother for some kind of entertainment. This was Eden's first interaction with the culinary world.

The idea of creating something wonderful out of small ingredients made Eden's eyes light up with excitement. She would always sit on the counter and watch her mother in action, cutting potatoes or dicing up onions to put into a broth; truly it was fascinating. And although she was still too young to help out with the actual cooking, Eden's mother saw her great interest and bought Eden her own kitchen set to make all the 'food' she wanted. And she did exactly that, often spending hours upon hours making different combinations off the fake food she was given up until she was old enough to start helping out in the kitchen. But unfortunately, that's when the world had another thing coming for her.

Apparently having heterochromia meant you were some kind of freak show, or at least that's what the kids at Eden's school made her think anyways. Constantly, she as bothered by other children who wanted to see for themselves what it looked like to have odd eyes. Adam had picked up on the constant requests and began brushing his hair into his face so that people would eventually forget he even had a different colored eye; he encouraged and helped Eden do the same. And while starting primary school was already a whole new trip filled with annoying requests to look at people, Eden always found solitude in the kitchen, as she helped her mother wash the vegetables for dinner.

Fast forwarding to secondary school and things got even worse when it came to the bullying. People were much harsh the higher up Eden went in her school career as those around her resorted to physical violence because she was different in the most obsolete way; this is what began the quick deterioration of the already shy girl's personality and low self esteem. There was one particularly bad moment where the kids ganging up on her brought water guns and balloons and pelted her with them after dragging her outside. After the whole ordeal, Eden ran to the safety of an empty classroom, only to realize she had stumbled upon the Art club in the middle of their meeting time. Luckily they were nice people and helped Eden into some dry clothing, eventually becoming friends with them and sprouting her love and knack for the arts, drawing everyday in her room to de-stress.

It was more than obvious to the twins' parents that the both of them were being bullied at school, so they did what any normal parent would do and enrolled them in martial arts classes. At first the twins were extremely turned off by the idea, especially Eden as her meek nature couldn't get over the fact that she would have to interact with new people, but after the first class, she was asking to go back. It was there that she and her brother learned how to protect themselves and fight back in case the bullies wanted to come back; she still takes classes to this day.

While they already knew their daughter was extremely knowledgeable in the culinary arts, her parents hadn't realized Eden's amazing talent in the arts until Adam walked into her sister's room and spotted the realistic hand drawn artwork of food and clothing she had lying around. Deeming their child as some kind of prodigy, Eden's parents sent an application to Casper Academy, sending in a few of her sketches and even a recording of her making dinner and dessert for the whole family on her own.

And like that, she was accepted. With the news being sprung on her so suddenly, Eden wasn't sure what to say, but before she even had much of a chance to give her input, she was already on the plane to Seattle.

Ironically, Eden wields a battle hammer against demons. She's gets very physical when it comes to fighting demons, and even seems like a completely different person. She's the best suited for physical combat due to her training and conditioning herself to fend off bullies and those that have something to say about her eyes.

Special Ability
Since she's so use to keeping track of cooking ingredients and inventory that, once an enemy's weakness has been exploited, she will never forget. She even tried to keep a journal of all the enemies they have fought, a sketch of them and their weaknesses.

Because of the constant bullying, Eden has trained and conditioned herself to protect herself...and also fight like her life depended on it. She's better fit with weapons than her bare fist.

Eden is what you call a glass cannon. She's very strong, but one hit could possibly take her out.

Eden isn't the fastest thing out there, but she can dodge and run like any other teenager. She is pretty clumsy though...

Inari of the Temperance Arcana: Although normal depicted as male in mythology, Inari is a beautiful kitsune adorned in white and gold. She learns the Bufu line and a few Support skills, but she mostly uses Physical skills.

Small Thing
At 5'2" and 89 pounds she would be severely malnourished. If having an eating disorder is part of her character you're wanting to explore this would be okay. Otherwise I'd recommend not dipping below 100-105. Or making her like 4'2", which would definitely be quite clinically short.

I have a couple worries that she's a bit too strong. If you'd like to have the scan ability, I'd probably ask that she only be able to use support magic. I like the glass cannon, feels like a good trade off as long as she weighs enough to have any muscle.

Otherwise I love her backstory and she seems like a great addition to the team.
