This will be a repository of my character sheets and their write-ups as I find the time to get them done! This will basically always be 'under construction' but I'll start you off with something, at the very least. If any of my characters intrigue you, please feel free to PM me. I'm open to 1x1 RPs either on the forum or in PMs and have a love of fantastic characters in mundane situations as well as queer/LGBT themes and romance.
Name: Myira Best genre fit: Fantasy Age: Appears in her late teens or early twenties Species: Raven Occupation: Witch Brief synopsis: Myira is a raven who was hatched along with a brother and sister several years ago. She was a rambunctious chick who grow into a proud little fledgling. When she was old enough, she apprenticed under her grandmother, one of the witches in the little community of birds that she grew up in. As she grew older, she learned about the magic that ravens used and how to perform it. Much of it had to do with the weather, with scrying, and with protection, How to predict the weather, how to speak to the spirits of wind and rain and cloud and call down thunder or halt a rainstorm. How to peek into the future and see what would be. How to guard against pests, to warn against enemies and to protect from darker magics.
Another fine trick was shape-changing. So far, she has only one other shape--that of a human girl. It's a good trick and useful for dealing with humans who expect ravens to be their familiars even if ravens are better at magic (all ravens think they are better than humans at such things). It's something she's used a handful of times, mostly for fun. She finds being unable to fly disconcerting and still lacks some understanding of human norms and customs. She is a young witch and a proud member of her flock's coven now, happy to assist with rituals, spells, and the other duties that come with such a position.
Personaity: Curious, brash, and never one to sit still. She is eager to learn all she can about humans and others. Knowledge, after all, is power. While she can be a bit flighty and odd to humans, she takes her witchery very seriously. Additionally, she can be fierce and even savage--she is a carrion bird and has seen battlefields before. Blood, death, and gore don't phase her. She is perhaps a bit overconfident and can come off as naive in regards to human affairs, since she knows little of them and tends not to care much if it's not something she is immediately interested in.
