McKay finished the last diagnostic on the Odyssey's Alternate Reality Drive, just in time to see Colonel Carter enter engineering. “Ah, Sam.” he said, handing his tablet to a nearby lieutenant. “The drive checks out. The subspace capacitor can be rerouted to the main grid once you're on the other side, though you'll only get about half the power of a Zed PM out of it, a compromise for being able to reroute its output.”

“Thanks, McCay.” she said. “You'd better get to the rings, though. We'll be sending the last of the repair personnel back to Groom Lake in a few minutes, then leaving for the other universe.”

“Yeah,” he said, turning to go, then turning back around. “Just remember that you can reroute the SC and come back at any time.”

“You've already told me that, Rodney. Now, if you don't plan on going with us...” she motioned down the hall.

“Right.” he said, and headed out.

A few minutes later the last of the crew had returned to the surface, and SG1 had gathered on the bridge. After a quick jump to a system a few thousand lightyears away, they ran a few scans to make sure they were in the right place. The system was on the edge of a plasma nebula and had an inhabitable world, matching the description of the system that LeFay had told them about. Sam ordered the activation of the ARD and a few seconds later the view outside shifted to reveal a large space station a few hundred thousand kilometers away.

–-

An alarm went off on DS9 after detecting a ship appearing in system. Kira ordered the station to go to Red Alert and the crew ran to their stations. A few seconds later Captain Sisko walked out of his office. “What's the problem?” he asked.

“A ship just appeared on our sensors, 260 thousand kilometers from the station.”

“Decloaked?” he asked.

“No.” answered Dax. “There WAS a subspace energy surge, but it doesn't conform to any known cloaking device.”

A console beeped. “We're being hailed.” said Kira.

“On screen.” said Sisko, and a human woman appeared on screen.

“I am Colonel Samantha Carter aboard the Odyssey. To answer what you are no doubt wondering, we are from another universe, the same one Adria is from. We are here to stop her.”

“I'm sorry.” Sisko replied. “Adria?”

Daniel Jackson stepped forward. “Maybe you know her as something else. Maybe the Orici?”

Sisko's face changed as he realized how important their arrival could be. “In that case, I believe you need to dock with the station so that we can talk. Major Kira, end red alert and send them docking instructions for one of the upper pylons, as well as station regulations. Once they come on board, have them escorted to my office.”

Carter nodded, and cut the transmission.

Cosmos and his team was traveling through space in their spaceship the Epistemus. It was named after Epistemus one of the Thirteen, the original Transformers. Sandwiched between the infinite universal streams that make up the multiverse, there is an expanse of nothingness that acts as a buffer between dimensions, called Transwarp Space and Cosmos was traveling through it like most every interstellar traveling species. Sure there was a hiccup every once in a while, you might be sent to forward or backwards through time, another universe, or just trapped in Transwarp Space for all eternity stuck with whoever you were with if anyone, you might even be found by an enigmatic, malignant, shapeless entity and believe me you don't want that. Cosmos never had a problem traveling through Transwarp Space until today. When he woke up the Epistemus had crashed on a rock devoid of life. Cosmos exited the ship to get away from the smoke. "By the Sacred Spires." Just as he cleared the dirt from his optics he noticed something else in the distance.

In the distance was a Decepticon ship derelict by the looks of it. Cosmos had his team scout the ship. All the Decepticons were dead. Spartan was the first to speak. "They are all dead." Normandy was using her former altmode's engines to keep off the ground. "We could use this derelict to repair our ship." Deep Dive was the last to speak. "We have to destroy this ship along with their bodies. We are clearly not from this universe. Just look at the stars none of them are right. We can't allow any tech inside to fall in the wrong hands."

After many hours the Epistemus was repaired. They tested the Master interface built into it. Cosmos began the transformation protocol. Deep Dive transformed into an engine that embedded in the Epistemus' robot mode chest. Normandy transformed into a head that became the Epistemus' robot mode head. Spartan was not needed for the Epistemus robot as he was just a weapon to be held. Once the test was successful. They reverted back to normal.

Once in outer space they launched several missiles at the derelict Decepticon ship. They aimed the ship's weapons depot, the combination of the derelict's weapons and the Epistemus' caused an explosion big enough to obliterate it.

Cosmos then picked a random direction and flew that way, within in moments he began picking up transmissions from something. After running it through several filters he was able to determine it was coming from someplace call DS9. He picked up speed and was there in five minutes.

--Mygeeto--

A crystaline world of arctic beauty, inhabitted by the Lurmen, a race of meter-high, pacifist simian. But today, the planet was to become a barren wasteland. Above the world, shuttles and ships were desperately warping out of the system, the native Lurmen choosing to abandon their system instead of fight. The Defiance was making her escape as the first wave of ships from the Confederacy of Independant Systems (C.I.S.) began their assault. Kiana stood on the bridge, watching as the last waves of shuttles were lifting off. Captain Pellaeon stood beside her. They watched the immense warfleet looming in front of them. "They want this planet badly..." She sighed.

"I cannot begin to guess why they would want a backwater planet like Mygeeto and why they are willing to put so much of their forces into securing it." he sighed. "Prepare to jump." he gave the order.

"That backwater planet would be my home." Said a slightly annoyed voice from the back of the bridge. The two turned around to see a Lurman in a fine cloak walk in.

"Senator, please forgive the captain. He meant no disrespect. He was talking strategically." Kiana apologized.

"I know." The senator shrugged. "But it doesn't get any easier. This is the second time this has happened in this war. That I have had to watch my homeworld beset by Droids and Seperatists. Chancellor Palpatine promised this wouldn't happen again."

"Well, I'm afraid that the bulk of the fleet is engaged in other places, we cannot spare forces to repel such an immense fleet." she said, it was then that the ship rocked.

"First volley of cannonfire. The lead ships are targetting us." the comm officer reported. Pellaeon turned to the window again. "Well, at least they aren't targetting the shuttles." he sighed. "As soon as our last fighter is aboard, jump." He ordered. Another volley of cannonfire rocked the ship again. At that point, the second wave warped in, right in their flightpath. "DAMN!" Pellaeon exclaimed. "Hard about, recalculate our trajectory!"

"That will take several minutes, sir." reported the navigation officer.

"Well then I suggest you start immediately. Looks like this will be more difficult than we thought." He grunted. "Ventral cannons, lay down covering fire for our shuttles. Dorsal cannons, target their lead ship and fire at will." His young, yet skilled eyes survayed the battlefield in front of them. "All other batteries, target the closest ship you can and fire at will." The immense cannons began their barrage, in return as the lead Providence was buried in a barrage of cannonfire. It, of course began to fire back, but it would need to get in position first. The Providence was a Broadside vessel, meaning that in its head-on charge, its heaviest guns weren't able to be brought to bare on the Republic ship.

"Captain, it's the fighterbay, they are asking permission to launch."

"Belay that." Pellaeon ordered. "We may not even have enough time to receive our own shuttles, let alone launch and recall before jumping." he barked. He didn't want to have to abandon the evacuation shuttles, but he could see several waves of bombers approaching, along with TRI-Fighters zipping towards the shuttles. Launching fighters now would be pointless, as they wouldn't intercept in time. He was forced to stand, hands behind back, tied by invisible ropes of responsibility. He could not and would not risk his ship and crew in a futile gesture. Kiana put a hand on his shoulder. She understood. As they looked out, she saw something.

"Sir, unauthorized launch. It's Master Larra-Vi's fighter."

"Order her to return at once." Kiana called. She hated undermining the captains authority, but this was urgent. His eyes indicated he was more focussed on the battle than the chain of command.

"No response fro-"

"SIR, MASSIVE FLEET EXITTING HYPERSPACE!!!" the scanner officer called. "I COUNT 30 CAPITALS, I REPEAT, 30 CAPITALS!" He hollered.

"Where?" Pellaeon asked, before several ships appeared around them, it was a minor miracle that they hadn't been hit by the ships exiting where they had. Pellaeons face drained of colour, but his expression didn't change. He noticed that the nose of the ship wasn't actually pointed at any ship specifically, but that would soon change. "Computations?" he asked, knowing that they had 10 seconds at most, before the fleet that had just warped out would realize that they were there and begin firing.

"Still another minute."

"We won't last that long, JUMP NOW!" he roared.

"But sir-"

"NOW, BLAST YOU!!!" Pellaeon screamed.

"EMERGENCY JUMP, ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT!" the conn-officer called. Canderous ran onto the bridge at that very moment.

"GENERAL!!!" He yelled, sprinting towards Kiana, he jumped and wrapped his arms around her, just as the ship blasted into Hyperspace along a blind trajectory. He was acting only on instinct. He couldn't help himself, he didn't care how infinitesimally little this stupid gesture would increase her chances of survival, he was going to do it anyway.

Kiana's eyes slowly opened as she started to come to terms with how the world was again. She looked around and saw everyone either laying on the floor, or slumped across their desks, with the only exception being Pellaeon, who was slowly getting to his feet. She looked down to see Canderous with his arms around her in the bodyguard position, she quickly shoved him off of her and staggered to her feet. "Any blind jump you can walk away from..." Pellaeon grumbled.

"Indeed Captain." She replied as Canderous started to arouse by her feet. She extended a hand to pull him up. "Thank you, Commander, but I doubt you protected me much." she mumbled to him.

"Status Report!" Pellaeon called.

"Ships systems are fully functional. Minor damage to all decks due to that last barrage of cannonfire. Ordering Damage Control teams to those sections."

"Excellent. Can we get a fix on our position?" he asked. There was a long silence. "Position? Report now!" He ordered.

"Stellar Cartography is trying to get a fix, but they are unable to locate our position."

"What do you mean?" Pellaeon asked.

"Stellar Cartography can't make heads, nor tails, of any of these stars. We must be far beyond the outer rim."

"Best guess, how far?" he asked. There was another long silence. "Report?" Pellaeon broke the silence as everyone held their breath, waiting for the news.

"They can't even guess..." came the report finally. Pellaeon looked at Kiana, as though to ask for her advice, but he simply saw a face just as in need of comfort as his own. He straightened his uniform and looked out of the front viewport at stars no-one, that he knew, had ever seen before. "Begin a scan of the area. Send out a Distress call, ask for any ship in the area that might have information on our whereabouts." he said. The scanner officer almost immediately piped up.

"Sir, we are receiving a faint distress call of our own." he said.

"Where?" Pellaeon turned. Kiana approached the scanner station and looked at it.

"A few hundred thousand miles." he said. "Main engines could have us there in the hour."

"Good, using the hyperdrive without Navicomputer computations got us into this in the first place." Canderous chimed in.

"Indeed, commander. Set a course. In the meantime, all stations report in." Pellaeon nodded, before returning to his position at the front of the bridge. Kiana looked at him.

"I will check on the others." she ordered. She thought of Tuk-Tuk, knowing she would have to explain that his master was left behind... It would destroy him.

****

Canderous and Kiana passed a Damage control team as they headed into one of the crew quarters, they saw Tuk-Tuk sat in the corner, his Lightsaber on the floor by his side. "I... I am sorry." Kiana put her head down.

"Master said she wouldn't let the Lurmen die if she could help it." Tuk-Tuk said. "I knew she would go... But I didn't expect for us to leave her."

"She may still be alright. The force was strong in her." Kiana said.

"I am not upset." Tuk-Tuk lied. "She taught me to not allow feeling to cloud my judgement or my mind. That I was to let go of everything I feared to lose." She could feel it in his voice that he was coming apart at the seams. "Fear leads to anger, leads to hate, leads to suffering, leads to the dark side." Kiana approached him.

"No... This isn't fear. This is mourning... We all mourn the loss of someone close. I have lost a former Padawan myself to this war. Master Yoda himself mourned Count Dooku falling to the Dark Side." she said. "Feel these emotions by all means, you aren't a Knight yet, you are still young and we do not demand perfection from you." she sat down with him. "As she said, train yourself to let go of fear, sadness, hatred and all other emotion... But, that does not help how you feel right now." She cradled the young Gungun's head in her arms.

"I..." He started. "I... I don't know what to do."

"It's entirely possible that she was captured. Remember that the Separatists see Jedi more valuable as Hostages to be bartered with than corpses." Canderous gave her a look to indicate that that remark probably wouldn't comfort him. "Look, we are answering a distress call. If you feel up to it, we might need your help. If they are under attack from Separatists, we may need your help." Tuk-Tuk got to his feet.

"Alright. We do not know she is dead yet... I will save my mourning for later." he said.

"Good. Come up to the bridge with us, Knight Jiktu is already on his way there." she said.

****

"Sir, we are within visual range." the Scanner officer called. A blue hologram appeared on the tactical desk of A strange looking ship The Jedi, Canderous, Kusp and Chernan and the captain studied it.

"Like nothing i've ever seen..." Pellaeon mumbled.

"Indeed. Little in the way of obvious gunports, nothing in the way of a propulsion system-" Vuka started.

"What about those 2 things at the back?" Canderous butted in.

"Entirely the wrong design, they could never move a ship that size with such little engines. Do we have a fix on its dimensions?" Vuka called. The numbers came up on the hologram

Length: 289 meters
Mass: 1,000,000 gross tons
Decks: 21

"Must be a cargo-transport... Maybe a cruise-liner. Too big to be a smuggler, not enough guns to be a mercenary ship" Vuka said.

"We won't be able to get much more until we board her. They are not answering hails and life-signs aboard are... Non-existant."

"Damn, too late to save the crew." Canderous grunted.

"Indeed, but she will probably have maps we can use." Pellaeon said. "Master Jiktu-"

"Knight Jiktu, i'm not a Master yet." he corrected Pellaeon.

"Knight Jiktu, can you take a squad of your men aboard and try to retrieve their starcharts?" Pellaeon ordered.

"I'd like to go too." Kiana said. "We'll take Misfits and do a sweep of that saucer section, whilst you and Cannok Squad do a sweep of her engine room. You'll probably be in heaven there." she smiled at the Jawa.

"Sounds good to me."

****

The LA/AT landed in the shuttle-bay of the strange ship, the power still on and a force-field coming down to keep the air inside.

The pilot punched a few things into the console. "Air is breathable." he said, Marbacca grunted happily. This meant he could leave the transport. He was too big for a space-suit. The teams jumped out and the Clones quickly swept the area. Detpack and Hightower carried a large box out of the transport.

"We'll get this scanner set up in the saucer section." Canderous ordered. "Come on, Misfits. On the double!" he ordered. Blaze stepped down from the transport and looked around, there wasn't anybody in sight. But there was a shuttle

"Fancy!" Vuka said. "Although, it's design is just as alien as this ships. He approached it. "Curiouser and curiouser..." He mumbled. Marbacca approached.

"Master, let's get going, this place is... Unsettling... I get the feeling Wookies were never meant to walk these halls." He grumbled in his language.

"Indeed. Come along, Cannok-Squad." He said. They headed through one exit, along with their scanner and a pair of Astromech droids they had brought, whilst the Misfits headed through another, making their way along the empty corridors. Kiana and Tuk-Tuk walked cautiously along. "Misfit Squad, come in" The voice of Vuka came through the comm-link.

"Come in." Canderous replied.

"We've found some of the crew. There are many humans here. They seem to be colour coded. All of the ones we are passing in the corridors seem to be wearing either red, yellow or blue. Wait a minute, we have non-humans... This ones humanoid, but his skin is Blue."

"Chiss?" Kiana asked.

"Negative, his sclera are white, as is his hair... And he has antennae."

"Strange..." Kiana replied. "Never met anything like that before." At that point, they opened a door, to find a small, circular room, with a dead body in it. This body was wearing a Red shirt had strange patterns across the skin and strange cranial ridges

"We've just found another alien." Kiana said. Doc rushed over to it and started to check his vitals. "Dead... Rigor is only just setting in, he can't have been dead more than 12 hours... But no signs of a struggle... His eyes have blood gathered behind. I'd need to open him up to get a look at his insides... But it almost looks like he... Drowned... several blood vessels in his head popped, He looks like he suffered from The Benz." Doc sighed.

"We're getting the same." said Vuka.

"I concur, Best suggestion is that the ships air-pressure was quickly, and without warning, increased to several hundred atmospheres. Death would have occurred instantly." Canderous picked up a Strange device near his body.

"What the hell?" he asked. "Looks like a weapon." He began to look it over.

"WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THEIR WEAPONS!!!" Vuka yelled over the comm-link as the sound of burning and orders being shouted. could be heard. "Very powerful, just blew out a wall with a single shot. It's like a blaster cannon in pistol form." Canderous kept hold of the weapon.

"Very well." Kiana replied. She looked at Canderous with a "This is why he isn't a Master" look. She then walked into the round room. "Looks like a lift... But there are no controls." She looked around, seeing only a handle on the wall. She walked over to investigate and grabbed the handle, looking it over. "No indications on the floor... Maybe there is a way to reach the bridge."

"BRIDGE!" A robotic voice replied. The doors closed and only Kiana and Doc were inside as they rocketted upwards.

"What the-?" she asked. "No, stop!" The lift ignored her as she had taken her hand off of the handle.

"General." Doc said, getting up and readying his blaster. He then grabbed the handle. "Stop!" The lift stopped. "Alright... I think we have it... Whilst we hold this and say a place, it takes us there. Must have a hell of a good AI onboard.

General, are you alright?" Canderous asked over the comm-link.

"Yeah, me and Doc are fine, just getting the hang of the controls. You're on Deck 19, correct?" she asked.

"I think so..." She nodded to Doc.

"Deck 19." he ordered.

"DECK 19" The lift descended again. Soon, the doors opened again and Canderous nodded to them. Doc carried the corpse outside, before the Clones piled in. Kiana grabbed the handle.

"Bridge."

"BRIDGE" The lift started to raise. Kiana got out her Comm-Link. "We have found an automatic lift that is taking us to the bridge."

"Confirmed, we have made it to what we believe to be the engineering section. The technology here is incredible. The computers here are telling us that this thing can cruise at 6 times lightspeed. The fastest ship in the galaxy barely makes it past 1.4x Lightspeed."

"By the force... Do we have an estimation on it's top speed?" She asked.

"Well, according to the computer, fastest recorded speed of a ship of this class is 14x lightspeed, but it can only maintain that for a few minutes before... Exploding... Fun to know."

"See what else you can get from it."

"You don't understand, this thing is quite happy to answer every question I have. The strange thing is that I think I know that it's speaking Jawa-Trade, but the clones are saying it's speaking Standard and Marbacca says it can't be speaking anything other than Shirri-Wook."

"Maybe it has some mind-probing ability... Whatever the case, this thing seems to be more than happy to have us. It's the exact opposite of what all of those space-port stories say about derelict ships."

"Oh yes, I'm going to be honest, I was expecting most of Cannok Squad to be dead by now, as well as you. Left alone to face something that sucks your face clean off."

"Comforting." Kiana laughed. The doors opened and they walked out onto the bridge in a standard 3x2 cover formation. Hightower put his hand up to indicate the all-clear. They then each grabbed a corpse that was sat in one of the chairs and pulled them gently down to the ground, before sitting in their seat, looking through the databanks.

"Seems very much in working order." Detpack said. Canderous had grabbed the front seat and was looking at the data.

"This must be one of the gunners seats... Weird..." he said. "Wait... No... This is the only gunners seat, I have access to the entire ships weapons compliment from just this console."

"No gunnery crew?" Detpack asked. He pressed a button on his console and what looked like a Pair of binoculars appeared out of the console. He looked into it. "I can see Defiance... She's out there and she's looking beautiful." He leaned on the console, not realizing that he had pushed a button. At that moment, the main screen turned on and the picture that he could see was punched up. Doc, who was seeing to the dead man in what was obviously the captains chair (Making him the captain) looked up.

"Look at it. It's a perfect picture, clear as day... It's not like ours at all..." At that point, a button started beeping on the console in the captains arm-rest. Doc pressed it.

"Can anyone hear me? Kiana?" Kiana looked across the room.

"Vuka, is that you?" she asked. Doc pulled the captain out of the chair and laid him on the ground.

"Yeah, this ship is so helpful, it's giving me and my clones a course in how to operate it. And what's even better is that I don't sense ANY HINT of the dark-side here. I'm sorry that all of these people died, but... Well, this thing is going to be very useful in the war effort. I'd be sorely tempted to make it the Jedi's flagship. With this, we could-"

"Remember, Knight Jiktu, we are peace-keepers."

"I know, but bringing the war to a quick end is one of the best ways to maintain peace."

"Enough. Look, right now, we need to get back to Republic Space, we can study this ship more once we arrive... What have you found out so far."

"Alright, according to the computer, this is the U.S.S. Shran, apparently named after a hero of our dead blue friend back their, who are called Andorians. This ship is part of an orginization called "Starfleet" Which seems to be the naval arm of an immense immense galactic Federation called "The United Federation of Planets." She's a Constitution-class, launched about 6 years ago from their homeworld "Earth", sometimes called "Terra" or "Sol" Dammit, these people have a lot of names for their planet." He hummed a little as he skipped through some uninteresting tidbits. "Alright, here we go. We have coordinates for this Earth and according to the computer, it'd take us about 3 weeks from our current location to travel to Earth Engines are apparently online and ready to go."

"Well, this "Earth" place seems like a good place to start." Canderous said. "Wooooooooow, I think I just hit the jackpot. Weapons manifest. Listen to this-" He pulled the weapon he found earlier. "This is called a "Phaser" and this ship is armed with immense versions of it. a pair on the dorsal and ventral center of the Saucer, a pair aft, just above that hangar we arrived in and another pair on the bottom of that core section. And we have what are called "Photon torpedoes" with what it calls a Variable Yield with a minimum of 1 Isoton and a maximum of 25 Isotons per warhead... How much is that..." He pressed a few buttons.

"Like Proton Torpedoes?"

"..." Canderous couldn't believe what he was reading. "Sir, 25 Isotons is the equivalent of about 50 of our standard Proton Torpedoes. Each one could level a city. We are sitting on 100 of them... We have enough firepower to level Coruscant."

"Alright... We have obviously stumbled across a warship..." Kiana said quietly, completely blown away by the killing power of this ship.

"Actually, Master, although you are half-way there, not quite. This ship was built to serve a dual-function. Apparently, this Federation has made enemies of a "Klingon Empire" who are a warrior-race, not unlike the Mandolorians of old. This ship was designed not only to fend them off, but also to serve as an exploration vessel. Her mission is as such "To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no-man has gone before.""

"Quite the tag-line." Kiana said.

"Indeed, but in her current state, she is merely an exploration vessel on a mission of purely peaceful intent." Vuka said. "Call me Sentimental... and i'd never thought i'd say this... But, I think we need to return it to this Federation."

"I do as well... But first, we will need to use it to get home. Continue to study the weapons and see if we can duplicate them somehow." She then grabbed her comm-link. "Captain Pellaeon, this is Kiana, I need a medical team immediately, the entire crew is dead. We are going to be commandeering this ship for the moment, under Intergalactic Salvage rights. Mark her in the ships logs as a friendly. We will also need an engineering team and a few crewmen. Although, from what I have seen, I doubt we will need more than 100 people to fly her.

"Understood, General. And are you sure less than 100 men? Seems hardly worth taking it."

"Captain, when you see her tactical data, you will understand exactly why we are taking her."

A console beeped and Kira spoke up. "Sir, we just picked up a ship of unknown design."

"Hail them." said Sisko, and Kira pushed the button to do just that. "Unknown vessel, this is the Bajoran Space Station Deep Space 9. You have just entered Bajoran space. Please identify yourselves."

"Identity is complicated if you are not used to Cybertronians. The ship is called the Epistemus. I am called Cosmos. My team and I are separate entities from it, we can live even if the Epistemus is destroyed but we are whole only with Epistemus. We were traveling via Transwarp. Transwarp is short for Transwarp Space which is an expanse of nothingness that acts as a buffer between dimensions sandwiched between the infinite universal streams that make up the multiverse. With a Transwarp Engine one can travel through that nothingness at speeds incapable of being achieved by any other means. It has problems some find themselves in different time periods, trapped in Transwarp Space for all eternity, or like ourselves found in a different universe than our own. We may need to borrow some tools to repair our Transwarp Engine. Ours might be lost in Transwarp Space, buried in ruble, just destroyed. Haven't found them yet. So what now?"

"I assume by the description you gave, you are a joined cybernetic or cyborg race, with host and symbiote able to act independently. My science officer is a member of a joined species as well, so it isn't that unusual. I will send our Chief Engineer and Science Officer to meet you. Is your vessel compatible with our docking ports?" He motioned to Kira who sent the Epistemus the schematics for the station's docking ports. "Otherwise, we'll need to use the transporters to bring you and your crew aboard."

"My people are the Cybertronians. We are race sentient mechanical self-configuring modular robotic lifeforms from the planet Cybertron. Most of us are capable of transforming into various vehicular modes, I used to but a new fuel source stripped me of that. We have something similar to your joined. We call them many names depending on their function but it is not permanent and multiple can be joined to a single larger one and can be swapped out at will. Collectively we are the Master race a subset of the standard Cybetronians, I am an Action Master." He was reviewing the files sent over. "While we talked I was reviewing the files. Had to convert them to a file format I could read. If conversion didn't screw anything up, I should be able to dock."

"Very well," said Sisko, "lower pylon 2." He nodded at her and Kira sent the coordinates, then cut the transmission.

"Dax, O'Brien, lower pylon 2." He nodded at them in turn. "Kira, you're with me." With that the four of them got in the turbolift and ordered it to take the to their proper pylons, Sisko and Kira going to upper pylon 2 to meet the Odyssey.

Cosmos pulled up close to the docking ring. Cosmos had his best space engineer working on making sure they could dock. Normandy went outside for a spacewalk. She examined the foreign docking mechanism. "Normandy to Cosmos. They are semicompatible, it will be airtight for a while. How long is anyone's best guess. Tell the bios they might want to bring a spacesuit." Cosmos hung his head. "Shit I thought so. Hoping I was wrong." He switched from group comms to communicating with the station. "To the biologicals at lower pylon 2 you may want to bring a spacesuit, are docking mechanism is only semicompatible. It will be airtight but only for so long. The door will have to be remain shut when not going through it and our ship doesn't have any oxygen assuming you don't breath something else, like methane."

Deep Dive was not thrilled. He waited until Cosmos was no longer communicating with DS9. "Somethings hinky here. Every multiverse any of our kind has been to has had the standard docking ring. Except Shattered, but that universe ain't right in all kinds of disturbing ways." Cosmos was trying to keep calm. "I know we've all had our dealings with the Shatters, I got my own reservations. But I am trying to keep a positive attitude. The others all know the drill when you enter a previously undiscovered universe, so stick to the drill."

Spartan was cleaning his smg. Muttering the protocols to himself. He always had a hard time keeping to the interaction protocols outside of combat.

Shran sat in space, right in front of Defiance, as the larger ship took a defensive posture, keeping her nose slightly elevated to bring her dorsal beam cannon to bear on any potential opponents looking to take this advanced new ship from them. Kiana walked along her corridors with Canderous and one of the non-clone utility officers. "We have already finished shipping some of these Photon Torpedoes back to Defiance for study, but it's slow going. It's almost as though this ship wasn't built to accomedate standard shipping and munition storage practice." The utility officer explained.

"I have a feeling it wasn't." She replied as they passed a door that had stuck solid. Vuka was stood with Marbacca and a cutting team that had just finished removing the door as they arrived. Inside they saw the body of a dead woman, human. As well as a strange device. Vuka ran over to the controls and began looking it over.

"It's a matter transporter, apparently... A teleporter! I thought these things were for bad fiction." He chirped happily. He began to press buttons on the console as they lit up. The computer came to life to speak in it's high-pitched, female voice.

"TRANSPORTER ALREADY IN USE!" It said "PLEASE INITIATE RE-ENERGIZER SEQUENCE!" It ordered. Bupa looked over the console and quickly sussed it. He ran his fingers across It, before grabbing a pair of toggles and pulling them down. In a whirl and flash of golden particles, a basket appeared on the pad in front of them. Juana immediately rushed over to it and looked at the small bundle of cloth. It started to move and, in a moment, she pulled back the cloth to reveal an Andorian baby... one that looked a little different. This one had blotches of pink skin as well as the antennae being less pronounced.

"What happened?" She asked. "How did they do this?" Vuka tapped the consoles buttons.

"I'm still trying to understand all of the technojargon phrases this thing is using, but, apparently, about a minute before the crew was wiped out, this console was very quickly modified by the "Chief Transporter Technician" who appears to be this dead woman. The console was stuck into a mandatory maintenance loop... Computer, can you explain what happened?" He asked.

"AFFIRMATIVE. SEVERAL THEORIES HAVE BEEN PUT FORWARD THAT A TRANSPORTER PATTERN COULD BE SUCCESSFULLY STORED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD BY MODIFYING A TRANSPORTER TO CONSTANTLY CYCLE THE PATTERN THROUGH A TRANSPORTERS PATTERN BUFFER. THIS HAS BEEN ATTEMPTED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WITH NO RECORDED SUCCESSES."

"Apparently there was a success now." She said, picking up the baby and cooing to him softly. "I remember when you were this small and adorable, Jiktu." She laughed. She then stopped as she saw the medics taking the Transporter chief away on a stretcher. "Computer, this child belongs to that woman, doesn't he?" She asked. The computer didn't answer as it was programmed for engineering questions, not crew. She sighed and began to carry the baby out "See if you can get it working. It should make our job easier." She called to Jiktu on the way out. Canderous followed her.

3 days later.

The Jedi and Canderous sat in the Shran's Conferance room. They had finally found out that this computer was the one with personell files in. They had all met to hear the answers together. "Computer, can you tell us about this child's parents? He will deserve to know when he is older." Kiana asked.

"CHIEF PETTY OFFICER MARIA PERELI. HUMAN. BORN, NEW BERLIN COLONY, LUNA, STARDATE -78248.5. STARFLEET RECORD. ACADEMY TRAINING, SAN-FRANCISCO, PASSED WITH MERITS. TRANSPORTER SPECIALITY. AWARDS, 5 YEARS LONG SERVICE, 10 YEARS LONG SERVICE. U.S.S. SHRAN, TRANSPORTER CHIEF, 11 YEARS. MARRIED STARDATE -52636.6 TO LT. DRAFA, CEREMONY PERFORMED BY CAPTAIN KINGSTON. OFFSPRING, RICHARD-DRI"

"Not exactly a distinguished career." Canderous said.

"No, but not every hero was one from the start. Just took the right situation to bring it out of her." Marbacca growled. Kiana smiled at the padawan's wise words.

"You teach your apprentice well." She laughed to Vuka.

"So, let's hear about this Lt. Drafa." Tuk-Tuk called to the computer.

"LIEUTENANT KTHA-DRI DRAFA. ANDORIAN. BORN, LRAKRIK COLONY, ANDORIA, STARDATE -87249.2. STARFLEET RECORD, ACADEMY TRAINING, SAN-FRANCISCO, PASSED WITH DISTINCTION. SECURITY SPECIALITY. AWARDS, 5 YEARS LONG SERVICE, MEDAL OF DISTINGUISHED BRAVERY FOR EFFORTS DURING THE BATTLE OF BATEN RIFT, 10 YEARS LONG SERVICE. U.S.S. RELIANT, SECURITY OFFICER, 3 YEARS, U.S.S. SHRAN, SECURITY OFFICER, 9 YEARS. MARRIED STARDATE -52636.6 TO CHIEF PETTY OFFICER MARIA PERELI, CEREMONY PERFORMED BY CAPTAIN KINGSTON. OFFSPRING, RICHARD-DRI."

"Hmmm... Computer, send all available information to the Defiance. If we are unable to find someone to look after him, we may have to take him with us." Kiana said, then stood up. "So, 3 days, what have we learned?" Vuka gathered his notes that he had made. "Yes, Knight Jiktu."

"Some startling discoveries." he said. "Firstly, this ship appears to be far older than it seems." he said. "I've been correlating stardates and look at this." he said, showing everyone a Captains Log labeled "Stardate -48369.7" "This isn't the weird part, though. As we see, there are logs going at least once a day for all this time. But now, look at the log entry." Suddenly, the notes showed a jump to Stardate 50630.2 "I've done some calculations and, according to the ship, this is right. This ship has been transported not through space, but time, according to what the ship calls its "Chronometers" This ship has travelled aproximately 102 years into the future." The others looked curious and shocked.

"Not even through the power of the force is time-travel possible..." Marbacca growled.

"I don't agree." Vuka replied. "This ship is built using technologies our finest minds said were mere fantasies. I think that we may need to re-write the text books on what is and isn't scientifically possible, because we are sat in an impossibility."

"If this is true." Canderous butted in. "Then it's possible that the starcharts are wrong. It's possible that this Federation might not exist anymore. Hell, it's possible that these Klingons already wiped them all out." Kiana nodded.

"A distinct possibility. 100 years can change the galaxy a lot. Knight Jiktu, use the ships scanners, locate the closest place that is broadcasting any signals that this ship recognizes as friendly."

"Already done that." he said. "The ships starcharts have no idea what this place is, but." walked over to a desk at the back of the room with a monitor on it and pressed a few buttons, before turning the monitor around to show a region of space labelled "Unknown" Which is where they were, along with a flashing red light that they were close to. "This planet seems to be broadcasting Federation signals. There also seems to be a metallic object in extreme-high orbit of the planet, also broadcasting these signals." he said.

"Alright, set a course, inform Defiance where we are going and match speed... Are you sure the Hyperdrive on this ship will work?" Kiana ordered. Vuka nodded to her.

"I am positive." He chirped, before walking out, with Marbacca in tow, heading for the bridge. She let out a heavy sigh. She looked at Tuk-Tuk and Canderous.

"Ready?" she asked. "We are about to travel at speeds unknown of." She informed them. "If we turn inside-out, it's all Knight Jiktu's fault." she smiled. They then got up. "Come on, let's see what she's capable of." she said.

****

The 3 of them walked onto the Shran's Bridge and watched. The consoles were all manned by Clone troopers that had been brought up to speed on the ships operation. "Knight Jiktu, Diagnostics complete, the ship is as ready as she is going to be." One of the clones informed him.

"Defiance is hailing. Navi-Computers course is laid in and they are ready to jump on our orders."

"Excellent. Let's not do anything crazy. Set course and engage Hyp... Warp drive. Setting 3. That's half of it's regular cruising speed." He informed them.

"Aye, captain. Warp-Factor 3." The Clone at Helm said.

"Defiance, you are green to jump." In a blinding flash, the Defiance jumped to Hyperspace. Meanwhile, it took a few seconds as the Shran lunged forwards and then jumped into low Warp. Kiana was a little surprised by the lack of jolt from the ship. There was no inertia in space so, naturally, they would feel nothing, but it still felt odd to her that they were travelling 3 times faster than anyone before them, and yet, if she hadn't been watching what was happening, she would have sworn that they hadn't moved an inch.

"Hmm... Anti-Climactic..." Vuka sighed as he looked out of the viewscreen and saw the stars whizzing past.

As Deep Space Nine tried to deal with their current problem of giant transforming robots invading their space, they were about to get an equally pressing concern. An older Constitution-Class ship dropped out of Warp a couple of thousand killometers from the station. Vuka swivelled round in the captains chair to look at the viewscreen. "Well, there it is." He pressed the intercom button. "Master, you may want to get up here." He informed her. Kiana had already sensed their imminent arrival and stepped out of the turbolift, she adjusted her armour. In all honesty, she had just come from a rather rough round of passion with Canderous.

"Sorry... I was training with Canderous." She said, then looked out of the screen. "Well, that's most certainly a space station. She's got several larger vessels docking with her already, though... Maybe a trading outpost?" she asked. She walked over to the conn and pressed the open hail button. "Attention outpost, this is Jedi Master Kiana, acting captain of the U.S.S. Shran. We are in need of assistance. Is there a Federation representitive I can talk to?" she asked, sending the hail to the station. Moments later, the immense Venator-Class Star Destroyer dropped out of hyperspace above them. Kiana sensed this, along with Vuka. She stepped back from the console, closing communications as the Clone at sensors stared into the perescope.

"Sir, Defiance has just dropped out of Hyperspace..." He reported, slightly confused.

"How?" Kiana asked. "They should be several hours behind. We were travelling twice their speed.

"Maybe the laws of physics work different here..." Vuka asked.

Sisko and Kira stepped off the turbolift and onto the Bridge, followed by SG-1, when a console started to beep. "Sir", a Bajoran security officer said, "A ship just dropped out of warp, a Constitution class."

"Constitution?" Sisko asked. "The last of those was decommissioned over sixty years ago."

"Apparently not this one, though." said Kira, temporarily taking over the console. "I'm detecting photon torpedoes and military grade phasers. Isn't ownership of photon torpedoes only legal in the Federation for Star Fleet and planetary governments?"

"Yes, they are. Black Market?"

"Unlikely. None of the known technology over there is of a design that's less than 100 years old."

Sisko shook his head. "They might have found or built era appropriate phasers, but Star Fleet makes sure to decommission and destroy photons, and the plans to build them a kept top secret." He started to think on the matter when they were hailed by the ship. After listening to 'Jedi Master Kiana' who was commanding it, he responded. "This is the Bajoran Space Station Deep Space Nine, and I'm Commander Benjamin Sisko, the Star Fleet officer in charge of this station." Kira pointed at her screen and he looked over to see that the USS Shran went missing 102 years ago, presumed destroyed. "I assume that you salvaged the Shran from where ever it ended up after disappearing over 100 years ago."

As he finished another ship dropped out of warp. It was a design which wasn't familiar. "That's a war ship," said Kira, "multiple plasma cannons, a fighter bay, and some sort of torpedoes, and I'm detecting over seven thousand people onboard."

"Is it with you?" Sisko asked the Jedi Master.

Once the biologicals got the situation handled Cosmos and the team exited the ship. Spartan was not happy about letting some biologicals on board much less letting them having free reign of the place. "Spartan, have you seen this place it clearly is not as technologically sophisticated as the biologicals we know. They clearly are not intelligent enough to understand the basics of Transwarp travel. The rest of the tech on board none of it is worth stealing. So settle and learn. Besides not like they need the ship did you see their ship? It's bigger and they clearly follow the old biological sentiment of overcompensating with lots and lots of weaponry. Clearly they are lacking in something. Besides they can't steal it without a Cybertronian pilot and they clearly are to inferior to force us. So I repeat settle and learn." They split up each going their own way.

Spartan came across a weirdly almost featureless man in a brown and beige uniform. The guy demanded he handover his weapons. "You will have to pry this SMG from my cold, dead, hands and for the machine gun on my back you want be prying that off anytime soon." The weirdly almost featureless man called for backup.

Deep Dive ran to the area since he was the closest. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Everyone calm down!" His voice was meant to be soothing and calming. "Spartan hand over your SMG now." His voice was authoritative and demanding, it told anyone who had half a CPU processor understood that there would be severe consequences if Spartan didn't follow orders. Spartan did as told, very very very reluctantly. "As Spartan undoubtedly told you, in his own uniquely stupid way you won't be able to remove the machine gun on his back easily if at all. It would be like us demanding you remove your arm. A lot of our weaponry is built into our bodies. We are not here to cause trouble." Deep Dive and Cosmos then deactivated all onboard weaponry on the team. "My CO and I just disabled all the onboard weaponry on our team. They can't shoot anyone now. Spartan is our security officer. Spartan follow these security personnel maybe you can learn from each other." Deep Dive seriously doubted that Spartan would learn anything but he would at least act respectful.

The clone at the conn-station tapped the ear-piece and turned to Kiana. "General, we are receiving a transmission from the station... Wait one second..." He quickly tried to recall the controlls, then pressed several buttons and the faces of Deep Space Nine's command staff appeared on the screen. Kiana wasn't surprised to see humans, but Kira looked very strange. Almost human but not quite. She got up and straightened her armour a little (It seemed an instinctive thing when raising from this captains chair.)

"First of all, I wish to extend my most sincere of greetings to you. My name is Jedi Master Kiana and... I am afraid that I have a very strange tale to tell. Suffice to say, for now, that we are not here to engage in hostilities. We are in need of supplies and aid... I am afraid to say that the crew of this ship are almost all dead, save for one. We found this ship adrift in space and commandeered it in accordance with galactic salvage rights. Being that these are your people, we wished to return their remains. Might me and some of my staff be permitted to board your station to discuss the situation further?"

Cosmos stopped by this place called Quarks. He was on the upper level. Women in skimpy outfits enticing men and lesbians with the illusion of sex to get them to gamble their money away. Cosmos was clearly disgusted by the display. One of the women approached Cosmos. "I have no interest in this. It's disgusting, your biological urges will kill you all." Cosmos turned around and left. He contacted the rest of team. "These people are clearly in need of the Great Upgrade. We know it works on humans. We need to test it on one of these new aliens first. When they are done with our ship I'll let you know, then we will begin the Great Upgrade anew. We must force salvation upon them before they destroy themselves. Let's start with...what's the word humans used to use for those that sold their bodies nightly. Whatever the word, they work in a gambling establishment called Quarks. No one will miss them."

Normandy didn't care about learning from the biological, they were inferior in every way, they hadn't even gone through the Great Upgrade. She had a ship to fix anyway. She started by finding her tools. She then went to work repairing the ship from the outside. She couldn't be around the biological they were nothing but meat bags, they were full of so much liquid. How the constant sloshing doesn't drive them mad, she had no idea. She had to be able to work and listening to them sloshing around would not help her concentration any at all. Repairing a transwarp engine while distracted would destroy this station.
