Mason was shaking at first still afraid of them all. Until he realised Amaya was trying to help. "Thank y-you" Mason said so quiet that only Amaya would hear. He was breathing slowly but forced. He was begging to lose consciousness as he leaned over on amaya

"You are very welcome...Just rest against me you should be stable enough to transport when transport gets here."Said Amaya in a whisper back to Mason allowing her arms to wrap around him continuing to let the water move over the various wounds slowly working at healing him. She looked at the other agents around her along with the damage of the fighting they did

Mason nodded as he breathed in shakily. His head slowly started to lean towards amaya, once his head was against hers he was out. Just barely breathing but unresponsive.

"Amaya, please stop cuddling the prisoner so we can get the hell out of here." Argus requested deadpan, staring at the half-elemental. "You do realize he was trying to kill us two minutes ago, right?" the Djinn continued with a sigh, "Damned bleeding heart water spirits... People like her..." The agent shook his head to clear his thoughts and stuffed his hands into his pockets, "Whatever. I'll see you three when you finally bother to get your asses out of the sewers." With that, he started the walk back up to the surface, following the stench of blood and undeath Griffin had left upon his own departure. "And don't expect a ride home unless you intend to pay to have my car cleaned after."

"you want a quiet ride back to headquarters with a live demon that is stable to move or a unstable one that is bleeding out and will likely die on the way...this is easiest way to keep him healed and calmed down till transport gets here. If I have to do this to make it easy on everyone then so be it but DO NOT talk down on my species like this is all we are good of genie." She replied narrowing her eyes at him "it is your condescending attitude towards other races that really caused my family to isolate themselves from this damn world...your lucky the director even convinced me to give this agency a shot." she replied "So either you deal with what I must do to keep him alive or you come down here and heal him yourself since you seem to know exactly how to do it."she replied

"A demon who is, at current, unconcious from blood loss. A prisoner transport is en route specifically equipped to transport him safely as soon as he's stabilized. I was TRYING to make a joke, for the record" Argus informed her, "You're too young to understand. You don't know what happened to us. Then again, who cares? We lost that war." the agent spat his cigarette out into the stream of sewage running down the tunnel, "I don't want to be your enemy Amaya. Fact is, I've never wanted to be anyone's enemy. But the world made an enemy of my people a hell of a long time ago. I'm the one trying to set things right." After saying his piece, Argus silently left the sewers.

Richard was only capable of leaning on the wall of the sewers as Agent Argus left the sewers. He had zero knowledge regarding the history between the elementals and the Dijin, but considering how the interaction between the two agents; he was sure they were not on pleasant terms with one another. It was just a few moments ago that they were functioning like a well organized machine in subduing the suspect, now we were back to step one and at each other's throats. He reaches to his radio to contact Argus "I'll be accompanying Agent Amaya until she decides to leave, just in case the suspect wakes up and does anything." Richard said with a hint of disappointment in his voice. He really did want the others to get along with each other.

Griffin had called for transport as soon as he left the sewers. He had been assured that one able to contain a shadow demon would be there as soon as possible. He had no idea what was happening with the group. He stared up at the moon. Some leader he was turning out to be. Not that he had been doing all that well when he was with the group. He was going to have to seriously consider withdrawing. Not that he wanted to but he also didn't want to endanger people because he had no clue what he was doing.

He was relieved when he heard Argus' voice on the radio. He pressed the button. "The transport is here at the entrance. You got control of the situation just in time. They just pulled up. I will update them on the situation." He assured the other man as he moved away from the wall. He headed over to where the transport vehicle was backing up to get into position. At least it wouldn't be a long wait. He would finally have a chance to get himself something to eat. Luckily he was used to going hunger or the humans in the area would be in danger.

"He won't do anything...we will be fine...I can handle him" She said waiting till she heard voices outside the sewer "Alright.. its time we get moving our ride is here."She said to mason lightly tapping his shoulder to try waking him. she assisted him up letting him lean on her heading outside towards the transport. she made sure that his wounds were healed for the most part of not bleeding out on the trip there. SHe helped him get settled before climbing in herself

Argus emerged from the sewer on his own a short time after receiving Griffin's message, "We didn't hit you with the fallout on your way out, did we Griff?" he asked casually, lighting a fresh cigarette and leaning up against the wall by the door, "Thanks for letting me take the lead back there by the way. Didn't mean to step on your toes, what with you being the senior agent, but I felt it was necessary for the situation." the Djinn sighed, crossing his arms and staring up at the stars "Fat lot of good it did me, managed to piss off the new girl, but at least we caught the demon before anyone was seriously injured." he glanced over at the vampire as Griffin prepared by the transport, "Hopefully it's not too late for me to make amends with her... Spent my life trying to heal the bridge between our races, and just keep fucking it up every chance I get." he returned to staring at the sky, no longer paying attention to Griffin, "Don't mind me by the way... Just thinking out loud."

As the trio walked through the damp and dark sewer tunnels, Richard reached into his greatcoat for his radio to update the other agents their current whereabouts and status to the agents outside. "This is Agent Richard, I am currently with Agent Amaya and the unconscious suspect. The three of us are currently making our way back to the entrance leading out. Suspect is in stable condition but would need medical assistance ASAP. Approximate time of arrival to the sewer gate is 5 minutes. This is Agent Richard out."

"Roger's light weakened me a bit but I will live." Griffin assured the other man. He was sure that they had done just fine without him. He had no idea how he could have helped. Shadow demons were an odd group. Each a little different. This one seemed to be a curse of some kind but that was for the higher ups to sort up. His job was to identify and capture. Well probably not any more. "Don't worry about it Argus. You seemed to have done a better job than I was doing. Transport is here waiting. I will let them know medical aid is needed. I am sure someone on the medical knows how to stabilize shadow demons."That was their job anyway. Those on the transport were supposed to know everything about the species they were assigned. Now that the demon was contained they could take him to head quarters and they could deal with him.

Argus inquired, glancing over at Griffin, "I'm mostly worried that she will be less inclined to listen to me in the future if she thinks I'm a racist asshole. I learned a LOT from my dad about how to be an effective leader, and the fastest way to destroy cohesion in a unit is lack of faith in the guy giving orders" he sighed, taking a drag off his cigarette "Sure I did a good job of it today, but I left a bad first impression on at least one of the agents under my command. That's gonna be bad news in the future if I can't redeem myself in her eyes."

The Djinn walked away from the sewer gate and closer to the transport, inspecting the configuration of the vehicle. "Anyone can be a leader if they can inspire faith in the people. Regardless of which side of history they were on, the greatest leaders from a technical standpoint had that in common. No matter how horrible the things they did, and the same is true of the people who lead revolutions for the good of all. They were able to inspire faith and trust in their people. Jury is still out on the pixie dust but I'm sure at least some of them used psychotropic drugs to get people on side." he chuckled at his own joke, "The agency is changing Griff, us senior agents are going to have to work more closely with our juniors from now on. You can be an effective leader too, just gotta learn how; and if you'd like, I can help you with that."

Amaya adjusted mason to lean on her having to wrap some water around his uncurious body to assist with getting him to move with her out towards the exit. It took about 10 minutes to find their way out of the sewer as she winced some from the change of light before her eyes adjusted "We are finally out." she said with a pleased smile even though she smelled horrible. "Come on...why did you have to fall asleep now." She said more to herself moving over to the transport letting the medics and the transport personal take control of the dead from here

Mason stirred as they loaded him into the transport. He muttered something and shook slightly like he was cold. His cloak had been left behind in the sewer showing the claw marks and burn up his side the hole in his cheek had almost healed.

Richard walks up to the two senior agents. "Apologies for the delay. Agent Amaya had difficulty carrying the suspect and I was unable to aid her due to my fear that I could harm the suspect further by a mere touch." He turns to see that the shadow demon was loaded into the transport and being treated by the agency medics while Amaya finally had a chance to regain her breath. "If there are no further directives, I would suggest we head back to HQ for our debriefing and submission of our report of the case."

"I played memory cleanup on my way here, so we're good on exposure control. Coverup teams should be on their way shortly after we leave to repair the damage to the sewers." Argus agreed, watching as the medics dealt with Mason, "Best we get back to base, debrief. Get some rest and stay out of the way so the repair crew can deal with the mess we're leaving behind." The Djinn swallowed his cigarette, sticking his hands in his pockets as he began to walk away, pausing briefly and turning to look at the others, "Anybody need a lift back to HQ? My car is right around the corner."

Richard looks at Argus and gives a firm nod. It seems that all the necessary procedures were being done as they spoke. Argus then offered the opportunity of getting a lift back to Head Quarters. A rather tempting offer but Richard took one of the agency issued motorcycles when he had been called to answer the case. "Thank you for the offer, Argus. I really would appreciate the lift but I still need to bring the bike back to the bureau motor pool. The mechanics would kill me if I didn't return it soon." Richard lets out a nervous chuckle as he is unsure if the threat was a joke or not.

"Alright Rich. Just get back to base safe." Argus responded plainly, a hint of concern in his voice, "And make sure you rest up properly after you clock out. It's been a long day." The Djinn waved Amaya over"Wait here, I'll go grab my car." He said before walking off. A few minutes later, he returned driving a large black SUV strongly resembling a police model sans lights and markings. "Hop in, you can sit wherever but be forewarned there's a bin of demon ink samples in the back seat that I confiscated from the cops." he stated through the rolled down driver side window, "Griff, you need a lift?"
