Almond butter, despite being much more expensive, is inferior to peanut butter. Almonds just don't lend themselves to being ground into a paste like peanuts do. I find its texture gritty and unpalatable, and for me the taste is simply unpleasant. To be fair, I tried an unsweetened, no-emulsifiers added variety marketed to dumbass hipster/yoga mom types with disposable income. Maybe almond butter is better sweetened. Then again, "natural" peanut butter - the kind without sugar and emulsifiers - is still great (better than "regular" if you ask me). So as far as I can tell, peanuts 4 life ni๐
