Species: Exo-morph. Exo-morphs are a species of shape shifting insectoid beings. They are rare among the races that inhabit Ring city and are common targets for xenophobes and racists due to their appearance. This is a major part of why they are so rare.

Appearance: Miteossa has a few forms her body can take due to her natural shape shifting ability.





Personality: Miteossa is unusually timid Exo-morph, she is very conscious about how people see her and is constantly trying to improve how the general populace perceive her. She is shy as a button easily getting embarrassed and flustered. She is also as gentle as a snowflake hardly ever getting angry or aggressive in any kind of altercation, violence is not Miteossa's stick. And deep down she is a hopeless romantic wanting someone to love, but feeling she's too ugly for that to ever happen.

Power: Like all Exo-morphs Miteossa has the ability to transform her body, but this is not as straight forward as it sounds. Exo-morphs require a through understanding if a creatures DNA to even consider attempting to mimic it, and the only way for them to properly understand the DNA is to consume fresh samples of it. This is most commonly done by consuming the flesh of a freshly killed creature. And the way the Exo-morph uses the DNA is internally different per individual, two Exo-morphs might both make spider like forms on focusing on the legs and the other on the ability to spin webs thus vastly changing the appearance of said Exo-morphs.

The transformations themselves also take time, the Exo-morph having to create a sort of soft bodied cocoon to stage their transformation, this takes a good 10 minutes and they are normally exhausted and hungry when they emerge. This ability was used to adapt to environments by consuming the largest most dangerous animals and altering themselves accordingly. The cocoons are always filled with a slightly acidic substance meant to deter attackers from breaking them.

The can make slight edits to the forms they teach their bodies such as replacing claws with hands and increasing the size of different body parts to suit the needs. Anything from making their eyes bigger to shrinking their legs, but this requires more time and is usually avoided.

Aliases: The Quiet Lord, Magus of the Taut Chain

Race: Human
Appearance: While not young by any stretch, there is still a sort of youthful energy to Atlantes appearance that contrasts with his greying hair. He stands quite tall for a human, at 190cm when standing at his full height. His shoulders are broad, and his fame surprisingly large for a man so engrossed in books. His eyes are grey, and sharp with determination - they shine a brilliant hue when he is wielding the strongest of his magics. His hair is worn shoulder-length, and waves dramatically in the wind along with his typically black cloak and robes.

His charisma and unusual aura lend itself to him appearing quite handsome, for those who don't mind the signs of his age.

He has a magical quiver on his back, seemingly filled with staves of various designs and lengths.

Personality: Pure determination. This is the force that drives Atlantes to great heights, trampling over all the world on his path to the future. He isn't where he is today because he was gifted, or born for greatness, but because he fought, and bled, and worked until he went even further beyond his lot in life. Now, he stands atop it looking down on it all, and realizes what has to be done to make the world a better place.

He must rule it.

It was this line of thinking that lead him to become what he is today. To some, he is a walking joke, concocting a new, ridiculious scheme to take over the city each week. To others, he is the regal and wise ruler of the Quiet Circle, moving his subordinates like pieces on a board to outmaneuver law enforcement and heroes alike. The menacing figure, and the exaggerated buffoon - which are his true self, and what are all of these seemingly unrelated ploys working up towards? It's a great mystery, even to the Lord's closest subordinates. He is a man shrouded in layers of mystery, too many to peel off easily, or quickly. One thing about him is certain...

He has a plan. And he's working towards it ever slowly, without stop.

Power:
Phenomenal Wizardly Power: The command of magical energies through careful research and application of advanced thaumaturgical theorums. It is far removed from the arts of Sorcery, which manipulate one's own inherent magic to achieve supernatural feats. Atlantes possesses not a single drop of magic in his veins, and thus needs to rely entirely on wizardry to accomplish anything beyond his mundane means. But don't let that fool you into thinking he's weak - far from it, he stands among the magic elite, an archmage who is without peer when stood among the regular populace.

What's strong about him isn't raw power or (heavens forbid) speed, but his ingenious creativity and intelligence. He's a tactition who plays his opponents like puppets, leading them into unwinnable situations while preparing all sorts of dastardly incantations to foil and confound them.

But for all of his magical tricks, he is not without flaw. Every act of magic he ever preforms was, in some way or another, prepared ahead of time. It's necessary, because using magic for him is not something that comes naturally, but it leaves him open to being exploited by unforseen circumstances or intervention from outside variables. To combat this, he has armed himself with an incredible array of magic items, and has at his fingertips a variety of prepared spells that, while slow to cast, can get him out of many a pinch.

His plans are slow, and heavy on investiture of resources and his personal attention. But they are great, and many-layered, difficult to penetrate and even more difficult to destroy. This fact is mirrored in his magic, which is at its strongest after lengthy periods of preparation.

Dimensional Passage: One of many forms of object transferrence, or "teleportation", this particular brand having been theorized and put into action by Atlantes himself. He uses it in its perfect form, as the magic's creator and pioneer, holding unparalleled mastery of it and all of its applications.

The theory is simple. A door is something that connects one region to another, through space. But what would happen if you used magic to change where in space a door leads? Using this question as the basis for his research, Atlantes developed a technique that allowed him to step through one door, and come out from another far, far away. He has to know where he's going, but this technique gives him incredible maneuverability within urban environments laden with doors of all kinds.

One can, using this technique, take others with them across the Passage, so long as they are under the caster's direct supervision. Truly a versatile technique, but weak to an oddly specific and incredibly common piece of technology - locks.

Name: Pluto

Aliases: Queen o'Kats, Sayer of Great Words

Gender: Female

Species: Domestic Cat

Appearance: Pluto has a regal look in cat form, which is a black and sleek middle aged cat of small size. Its right front paw is missing, and it has intelligent green eyes. It looks clean, well kept, and even pampered for a cat. Her teeth look particularly sharp. In both forms, she has a high quality red collar and bell around her neck. There is a tuft of white fur on her chest.

The Familiars human form stands at around 150 cm give or(more likely) take a few cm. She has a rather small frame, though not abnormally so. Sharing the green eyes of her other form, they are far more intense and scrutinizing as a human. Exuding a sense of superiority and nobility, she has a certain 'gravity' about her. Her hair is black and straight, extending nearly to her hips. She almost never wears it down, styling it in whatever trend of the day is most popular in Hell or Ring City. This goes doubly so for her clothing, usually wearing dresses and the like. Usually they are all flamboyant and flashy, even the rare male clothing she wears. Even as a human, her shadow is that of a cat.

Despite her agility and speed she has a sometimes distinct, other times subtle limp in her right leg. It is ever present. There is a tiny but not so small as to be unnoticeable witches mark at the nape of her neck. She can manifest a cats tail and ears, but this seems to be by choice rather than necessity. She carries nothing that is an obvious weapon.

Personality: Self-centered and utterly absorbed in her own doings, Pluto doesn't particularly care for things that don't interest it. Smug in victory or defeat, she constantly looks for opponents to belittle and humiliate- preferably the most powerful she can see at a given moment. She cares not for the past, and only looks to the present and future with a abnormal sense of time and certain amount of tunnel vision.

Pluto is quite sadistic, being a Daemon in the form of a cat. As a member of the noble families in Pandemonium, they enjoy the company of gentle folk- cat, daemon, or not. They are constantly on the look out for the newest pleasure or toy, and discard it at a moments notice like trash when it becomes drab. While she certainly kills for pleasure, she isn't indiscriminate, and follows a weird code of conduct befitting of a gentle Lady, Inferno or not. The Familiar prefers honorable duels and tactical contests between equals(or amusing peons). Unfortunately for those of this plane, fair fights in hell are quite different from ones in Ring City.

Qualities as a Familiar: Her capacities as a Familiar are quite vast, given her masters talent and her own potential. In terms of physical ability, she is competitive with most of the more super and post human inhabitants of Ring City. Her constitution is quite lacking however, and she certainly can't take many direct hits. She claims to be "the Fastest in all of Ring City"- a bold but quite accurate claim probably not far from the truth. Since the body she possesses is that of a cat, its only natural that her speed, agility, and dexterity are at that level.

After defeating the former ruler of the cats(Good King Caesar) in a game of Catspaw, Pluto has become their new monarch. All Felines from the smallest kitten to the largest lion serve her in some capacity, though usually in a tithe. Under her command the Kingdom has been reorganized extensively to mimic the hierarchies and workings of Hell. Coincidentally, the Kingdom of Cats now pays consistent tithes to their new Infernal suzerains in Pandemonium. As such, she calls upon the cats of the world in various capacities, sometimes for combat. The quality of these warriors generally depends on the cat itself, but they become something like Familiars to her in an actual fight- so as to prevent their gruesome deaths. She wields one of the Kingdoms ancient regalia, an unlimited ball of yarn. The string has adjustable durability and a few noteworthy magical properties such as changing its color. Her collar is made of this string, fashioned by her master.

Qualities as a Daemon: A succubus of Pandemonium, Pluto has many of the strengths and weakness' of Daemons. Her true physical form makes her more resistant to magic or divine abilities that may repulse her, but they still have a major crippling effect. She can walk into the dreams of others and assault their mind, spirit, and soul freely. She is capable of stealing souls(Only if the other party is dead or possessed by her) and making contracts and deals with others at her whim. In Inferno, while a minor noble, she is renowned for her knowledge and understanding of the world. Many magicians, wizards, sorcerers, and alchemists have summoned her across the years to attain forbidden knowledge beyond their reach.

In her capacity as a Daemon, she is not purely a being of magic or a simple human wizard using knowledge and systems to create an effect. Rather, she uses her advanced understanding of the workings of the universe to produce desired results. In her case, she can do many parlor tricks(Reversing gravity to walk up walls, etc.) but she has few abilities that are overt damage in the same sense as a fireball. She uses many illusions, and as a succubus, is adept in that craft. Damage from her illusions can overlap with the real world and cause genuine damage to others, or have consequences and effects. The bell on her neck is a great magical tool crafted by her master to enhance her capacity as a succubus. Each time the bell rings, a single opponent is brought closer and closer to the state of "Sleeping While Awake". The world of dreams that succubi inhabit and the real world become closer and closer, giving her more room to work with her illusions. Once the target becomes "Asleep While Awake", they will exist in the Dreamworld, a place she is undisputed master of. The Bell never tolls, however, when she is in sight of her target. Additionally, leaving the bells range of sound erases all effects(Lest its the last stage).

Skills: Pluto has all the skills and experience to qualify as a Noble, a Daemon, and a Duelist. She has legitimate skill in designing clothes and styles, it being one of her main focuses back in Hell.
