Shadow walked around the forest wondering if what she heard was in her imagination. Living out in the woods killing anyone that approaches you can't really be good for your sanity. She held both her axes tightly in her hands keeping her eyes peeled.
I'd prefer it if we had normal rounds of everyone going around once with posts. I tend to go 'Everyone else, then me, then everyone else again' with no particular order with them, except I wait for them to go when they do.
Okay, I'm a little confused. It's already attacking, and it's doing so pretty damn fast, with the first time Gonad even knows it's there is basically when it's entering his field of vision ('cause he made no indicator, otherwise). There's huge claws descending upon him, and it's making to spring right off of him too. You should be defending yourselves.
Gonad's just being nice. He didn't visibly react to the sounds (which gave away the presence of a foe) or bother to stand just because he's trying to see if it'll do something that may hold his interest. Since he doesn't approve of its course of action, he's offering another chance in the hopes of it reconsidering its choice of attack.
Gonad is a man of necessity. He only defends himself if he feels like he needs to.
Whereas I checked to make sure you were leaving yourself wide open with no indicators - even in narrative, where they would be no signs externally, but the players would know what's up - of defense or even preparedness to make a move, you have simply decided that you connect. You did so, with a creature that I pointed outright you cannot hear properly, that you only see the instant before the attack because you are prone, and that is moving very swiftly. Since the two characters are both capable of moving and acting quickly, it would be very important to note who was taking advantage of that more. Well, at a dead stop with no indicator of where the attack is coming from, the preparedness count goes to the one who is there and gone again in seconds. I gave plenty of a chance - went out of my way, in fact - for some defensive measure to be taken and none actually was. It is too late to declare that you intercepted, thus. You allowed me to declare damage. So, you cannot brain your opponent all of a sudden, giving ME no chance to react to IT, which it certainly would have because it has three fricking eyes-on and quick reflexes. It is too late to make such a move.
You are gouged and bloody, and if you grip anything, your hands tear at fur as it forces itself away. I'll be back when it's fixed.
I never stated that Gonad wasn't prepared (as hinted at when I wrote that he "seemed" to ignore the suspicious sounds), nor did I auto-hit, if you'll look closely and notice such words as "may" and "would" placed appropriately. I did however work to limit your options by addressing the futility of certain responses. I did phrase my moves for what they were from an enemy POV, them being untelegraphed and unexpected. That comes from practical technique and contributes to the difficulty I estimated your character might suffer, but ultimately it's only speculation for dramatic effect and to make clear the conclusive prowess of Gonad's counter. I am implying that his attack is likely beyond the Trygon's capacity for response, acknowledging how you figured the same for Trygon's attack. The critical difference is in the following evidence, which alters the circumstances.
+++
+++
As it is, Gonad isn't off guard and is easily capable of striking whilst remaining in a prone position with little warning. In his profile it states that he can strike without conscious thought, using muscle memory. As your creature has no such stated ability, this gives Gonad the initiative in a counter.
+++
+++
You say I'm the one granted a chance, but understand all of the circumstances. An extra eye isn't an indicator of additional close range spatial reflexes, and it pretty much tried to open arm attack a wary opponent without guarding itself. Leap on a tiger and you'll get bitten, even if it's laying down. That's why I had Gonad give Trygon his "don't do it" glare.
+++
+++
I paid ample attention to your wording. Gonad would have seen the Trygon enter his vision whilst it was still mid-leap. Taking this into account, he'd have little trouble reacting, though a normal man may have been taken off guard. Note also that from the Trygon's POV, he firmly believed that Gonad really wasn't prepared, and remember that in the way I phrased it, Gonad only 'seemed' unprepared. Thus in actuality, Gonad was ready and the Trygon wasn't. It's not at all expecting him to counter with lethal force.
+++
+++
You said it, not me.
I also never said Gonad was going to grab it. He's countering by sticking his pipe through its eye, past the orbital, and into its brain as it lunges into him, unless given reason why such a thing wouldn't work.
To instinctively react to something, you still need input. Gonad is not psychic. The only input he has is noise, from all directions, until the attacker is in view, period. He doesn't know where the attack comes from and you did not even make any indication to ME, the player, of preparedness in your turn. He was prone and doing nothing, physically. You were suppose to react last turn and you did not. You declared nothing and your character had no idea what was actually going to happen. You can certainly react to something that is suddenly THERE, but since you didn't know what was going to happen, can't make an intercept properly. The Trygon, meanwhile, can SEE Gonad, and is a fast-moving being that you would NEED to see or hear properly in order to intercept, assuming no extra-sensory perception which Gonad does not have.
Speaking of instinct, you don't get to say that the actions of the Trygon to transform and leap into attack are not well-honed and as second-nature as breathing. It's a bloody killer that has clearly done this often. In fact, with the race knowing little else in life, this kind of practice becomes more intrinsic to its being because it's got the back of a predatory species in its head. Let us not forget that the entire point of its actions were to hit-and-run because it felt beforehand that Gonad was potentially dangerous. He just didn't DO anything. And you didn't tell the player and the audience he was doing anything. You did this, and then you proceeded to tell me how my own fighter worked as you auto-hit, with knowledge of anatomy Gonad doesn't have and I doubt he could target from where he's lying even if he had.
And just to Devil's Advocate here, if you really did stop the creature's momentum with this illegal action, you'd be preventing it from using its legs to pull its claws from Gonad's body, and thus it would be rupturing several organs with its long and dense saber-like bone-claws as it thrashes in a total frenzy. Since I specified the stomach, the claws would thrash around without bones to impede them, tearing through multiple organs that are necessary for life, as it would even enter the unprotected chest cavity. You'd just die.
Either way, I'm not pleased with your actions. They were too late, and you tried to conceal them like a guy cheating at poker with aces up his sleeve, and they were frigging auto-hitting. You are out of order, and I will not budge on this. Get out.
@FalloutJack There's no need to be rude, or shout buzz words. I'm providing you with logic and evidence, not playing the blame game or making unfounded claims.
Gonad's glare is independent of his action. It's his appearance and I was making that evident. Describing what a character looks like in case it may provoke an alternate response doesn't consume the timeframe. I didn't waste an action, I just made more detail clear to you in case it may change something before committing.
I don't particularly care how much honed experience a character has, if its owner commits to a flawed action. I could run a thousand year old wizard, but if I try to catch a fist with my face, that thousand years means zilch.
Now, note that you also provided a time frame. You said it took a second for it to transform mid-leap, and that was /before/ it made contact.
Thus, what it comes down to is, can Gonad react to and strike an opponent in about a second?
Well...
A fat dude who probably does weekend boxing can. Certainly a Trygon is quite different from an old man in a scarecrow outfit, but then again, Gonad is far and away deadlier than any aggressive middle-aged American. Given a second to react and kill, he could easily slay the ï¹°Trygon twice over with how reckless it is. Yes, yes. It is a reckless move, despite the monster being such a great predator. I shall remain here, thank you, and eagerly await your rebuttal.
@FalloutJack Additional information. Of course Gonad understands anatomy. In his profile, if you'd look closer, there's mention of his kill count. Quadruple digits. It also states that he knows of a thousand ways to kill with his bare hands. I do wonder that you'd think he doesn't grasp basic biology 🤔. You can reach the brain through the eyes. Even children know that, let alone the world's greatest warrior. That's how character experience may be brought into play properly. Do reread my post as well, as I did in fact take the claws into account.
Attention to detail is vital in fight writing.
P.S. I shouldn't need another reference, but I really do want to put emphasis on my point.
Hokay, alright. Let's get down to brass tacks. I was called in to judge and determine which of you is in the right. So I'll read through both of your posts and character sheets and lay down the facts as I see them.
General Capabilities - What you can expect from a Trygon in general is speed and agility in primary, strength in secondary. They have great mobility, flexibility, and agility. Their strength in base form can overcome a human being, normally, without supreme effort. When faced with a physically powerful specimen, they're looking to take any advantage they can find. Remember that this is an ambush predator, which means that surprise and sneak tactics are better for it than bull-rushing into a situation. Their claws are dense bone and saber-like in nature, and they have enough technique to use them with as much surgical precision as gouging brutality in that area. The hearing of a Trygon is...reasonable. Eardrums are located in the head with no visible ears. Nevertheless, they hear alright. Their sight...is extremely detailed. Once they spot you...fog, darkness, and other passive obscuring methods probably won't work. Eye contact must be broken.
The Three Eyes - For instance, one might have the ability to cause disorientation in the senses when green, learn something of the physical nature of a being or object when yellow, and rip energy from organic substances (especially if the creature is dead) when red. On the other hand, another could enslave animals with insanity, cause a psychic burst of power with enlightenment, and cause necrotic damage with death. An inherently chaotic species, half the trouble of a Trygon is figuring them and their abilities out.
"The legs are built for leaping, vaulting, and running, with double-jointed knees for flexibility, meaning that they can work on their own or along with the double-joined arms with equal efficiency. They would therefore be adept to multiple terrains, perhaps only struggling in a desert for traction, as they would easily swim in water. Their general muscular build leans more towards the athletic than in brute strength, although this can...change. "
(Take note, Jack. I'd recommend keeping your physical abilities out of the description of a character's appearance. Largely for convenience, but also to avoid confusion.)
There's no actual comparison for their physical ability. From descriptions I can gather they're on average stronger than a normal animal or human. Such as a Tiger + Lion hybrid or something. With no physical comparisons for your feats and abilities, I can give you no points for this action. The speed you demonstrated in your posts is not what is visible on your character sheet.
So what I'm seeing is that the sound coming from all directions is traced to its eye that can cause disorientation, and thus intended to hide its approach. HOWEVER, in the very next post you wrote out:
From the top of his vision, he'd see what looked like a wolf at first, but the limbs seemed to lengthen and thicken, with the paws elongating and growing two saber-claws each, grown from different digits on each paw. He saw the wolfen body expand into something that was at least partially humanoid, but definitely not human. And he definitely saw this weird three-eyed wolf face expand its jaws, gain some needle-like teeth, and grow in some mandibles.
From the top of "his" (Gonad's) vision. You immediately remove the advantage of surprise by rushing in. Something that you described in your character sheet as something that this creature doesn't do.
Remember that this is an ambush predator, which means that surprise and sneak tactics are better for it than bull-rushing into a situation.
So you are already at a disadvantage by acting outside of your self described natural environment. As well, you haven't described your approach as anything other than an approach. Any action without a proper description defaults to what I like to call a "Stock" action. So this approach can only be percieved as a straight line approach into the clearing in his direct line of sight.
Without any measurement of speed on this thing's movement, without any measurement of distance, and without any clarification of how it is approaching this is looking incredibly bad for the Trygon.
And next up.
Now, from Shadow's perspective... If she happened to notice where this thing was coming from, it had done that sudden transformation mid-leap. It had been a wolf just a second ago. A wolf with three glowing eyes, but a wolf, nonetheless. Now, it was this monster, and she could also see the two saber-talons on its feet with four or five side-toes on said feet. It was also bigger than a wolf, stronger than a wolf. And judging by the leap it had made, it was moving to tear into the prone Gonad and then leap away into the night, a cutthroat maneuver.
This is a further clarification of its movement, meaning that it can be seen from not one but two vantage points in the direct line of sight of both enemy combatants.
This means that in your post you clarified that this is a very obvious attack, so the point made in your next point is completely irrelevant.
With Gonad not even moving, he left himself open and was unprepared for the attack. Even if he hadn't been ignoring it, the point of the noises was to disrupt the abiility to figure out where it was coming from by ears alone. So, without even taking a defensive posture, he was open.
So the summary is as follows: No clarification of physical description except for vague "Better than normal animals." means that the speed feats of your post are greatly diminished to non-supernatural limits.
No clarification of your incoming direction except for "Direct line of sight." means that your opponents have a very clear view of you incoming, so your use of disorienting methods is made null and void through your own action.
And attacking outside of your self imposed stealthy combat style with a bull rush method that you clearly stated it doesn't do, puts you at a distinct advantage for doing so. Especially towards two enemy combatants, one visibly and one non-visibly armed.
Abilities/Skills- Revered by many as the greatest warrior to have ever lived, Gonad boasts tremendous dynamic and static strength and is capable of overpowering virtually any foe near his size. His base strength is roughly equivalent to that of a large grizzly bear, his speed that of Bruce Lee crossed with Usain Bolt. Above all else the strength in his hands is legendary, and so far no foe, living or dead, has succeeded in breaking his grip. He fights through experience and instinct, capable of reacting to attacks through muscle memory before he consciously registers them. He witholds a vast array of rare and lethal wisdom and is said to know of over one-thousand ways to kill with his bare hands. What's more, Gonad is the supreme master of his own body and can control its functions at will. He uses the full potential of his musculatory system, is able to constrict blood vessels to keep from losing fluids, and can transmit senses other than sight through his visual cortex, along with every other kind of mind over body feat possible. If it's in 'Ripley's Believe It or Not' or 'Guinness World Records', Gonad can do it.
Gonad is a grandmaster of the berserker arts and has an effectively limitless tolerance for pain. If need be, he can, just as expected, go berserk. When he does he can generate such speed and strength that his own muscles can tear themselves from his bones, performing at nearly twice his normal abilities. When combined with the ability to create self induced hyposthenia within his body, bringing his muscles to the ultimate point of relaxation, Gonad can then contract them with the greatest amount of force that is physically possible. At the cost of having his very bones shatter from the overwhelming might of his own blows, Gonad can unleash attacks of such immensity that any entity on the receiving end of a direct hit gains an immediate and intimate understanding of what it feels like to be the fetus in a Mexican abortion. In other words, going berserk increases Gonad's offence at the cost of his defense. His blood flows much faster (hastening blood loss), he becomes considerably more aggressive (henceforth reckless), and his attacks are just as likely to inflict damage to himself as to the opponent due to the physical strain.
Appearance- Silhouetted against the burning passions of war, a figure stands tall, unmoving. His physique is as definitive as the gory victory with which his gruesome hands secure. Woven into his beard is a tapestry of blood, proclaiming the legendary tales of the countless scars adorning the sacred weapon, known as Gonad. For weapon he is, heated and hammered in the unquenchable fires of battle.
Pure unadulterated muscle. Lean muscle that ripples under his flesh like the waves of the ocean. He has muscles on his muscles. Feet Muscles. Finger muscles. Gooch muscles. A grisly body resembling tanned granite that might as well have been chiseled by the gods. Bulging veins, thick and course. Tendons like steel cords. Fingers like blunt iron rods. All of his digits are tipped with rugged nails honed into calloused claws from years of gouging and climbing. Long, sinewy limbs crafted for naught but the deliverance of phenomenal destruction. His enormous yet supple frame moves with a primal grace, the likes of which are comparable only to the untamed beasts of the wild.
His body is riddled with the innumerable wounds left by his combative livelihood. There are hundreds upon hundreds. Where the scars do not cover his body, coarse manly hair, thick and strong like steel wool, does. He boasts a great dark gray beard speckled with the blood and bone flakes of his foes, flowing down his freakishly striated chest in thick, oily waves reminiscent of the River Styx. From it emanates the very stench of death and graverot, every bit as inescapable as his piercing glare. Within his single eye resides an undying flame, sizzling hotter than the arse-winds of Satan himself.
Background- They say when the Barbarian called Gonad Yaksplitter was born, he came into this world bearing a full and mighty beard and had the equivalent muscles of a shaved adult yak. He was born on the battlefield, his infantile but well defined body gushing forth from the womb of his mother and landing in a puddle of blood that had been pooling from the corpse of a nearby enemy. It was in this way that Gonad had first been christened with the blood of his enemies. His mother, Chukka, had broken both legs in the battle and only she and her newborn son had survived the disastrous conflict. It had been a Barbarian war party, sent out from Gonad's home village which lay fifty-five miles East.
Chukka was forced to crawl back using her hands and teeth, bearing Gonad on her back. Only by sustaining young Gonad with the meat of her placenta and the warm milk from her breasts was she able to keep him nourished during the arduous trip back. Using the prodigious length of young Gonad's beard, she was able to fashion a makeshift diaper to keep him from soiling her back. After two months, they managed to return to the village, much to the great joy of Chief Jarvi. Upon being shocked at the sight of Gonad's beard-diaper being removed, he promptly named muscular Gonad after his hefty namesake, and renamed their village after the miracle child. For many ages the Village of Gonad has been renowned for its strength, most often migrating around in the deep Wilderness. Gonad's birth was the very culmination of generations of hard-earned might, his destiny pre-determined by the selective breeding of his ancestors. Their intent? To create the ultimate physical human. And so they did.
Since before he could walk, Gonad was made to train in the berserker arts with a relentless fervor that surpassed common sense. Nearly every minute of every hour of every day of his life he endured the most excruciating physical and mental training imaginable, his talent for unarmed combat pushed well beyond the boundaries of reason. He bears as many scars from his training as he does from battle. Gonad has participated in tens of thousands of battles, ranging from one on one bouts to full scale wars, and from his experience has even created his own fighting style, which he dubbed "Hefty Fist".
From the moment of his birth, he was made to perform rigorous excercises in order to develop his body as soon as possible. The full details of his training remain unknown for the most part, as the accounts of Barbarians are often muddled with myth. What is known are the basics of his regimen, from the date of his birth, to current day.
Age One: Gonad is regularly beaten with a wet strip of leather. Gonad is regularly held over stoked flames. Gonad is regularly given rodents, and encouraged to crush them in his hands. Gonad is forced to develop his upper body strength via unknown means, involving a two pound rock, a plank, a boot, and rope crafted from yak hair.
Age Five: Gonad is regularly taken several dozen miles into the wilderness before being abandoned and told to make his way back. Gonad is regularly brought into tribal wars, and claims to have had a double digit kill-count before his sixth year. Gonad is made to regularly consume the flesh of his fallen enemies. Gonad is regularly made to carry an eighty-pound rock upon his back. Gonad is regularly beaten with wooden staves whilst wrestling with his older peers in a pit full of yak dung. Gonad is regularly made to mate with older Barbarian women. Gonad is regularly made to strike rocks with his bare fists. In tribal wars, often many warriors are left mortally wounded on the battlefield, unable to recieve medical treatment. Though Gonad speaks freely of the kills he made in honorable combat, he rarely describes the many grievously wounded allies and enemies he was tasked with mercy killing. Several of his own brethren Gonad had to kill in this way, by snapping their necks.
Age Ten: Gonad habitually trains to the point of sweating blood. Gonad is regularly made to fight wild animals unarmed. Gonad is regularly beaten with iron rods. Gonad regularly splits burning logs with his crotch. Gonad is made to carry a one-hundred and eighty pound rock upon his back at all times. Gonad is branded regularly with hot irons. Gonad regularly spars with his peers in the catacombs underneath the village, where it is pitch black. Gonad is regularly made to punch yaks until they die of blunt force trauma. Gonad is regularly made to skin and disembowel said yaks with bare hands. It was at this time Gonad met Lukka, his first wife. An enduring custom of the Village of Gonad, the wife always fights her spouse tooth and nail on their wedding night during mating. The fight is no holds barred, and often severe and permanent injuries result from it. The winner of this matrimonial bout becomes the dominant partner in the relationship. To overpower your mate is known in the village as "taming" them. Gonad tamed Lukka on the first night of their marriage.
Age Fifteen: As per the requirements of the Village's manhood ritual, Gonad and his brother Testiculese were made to journey up the steep side of Black Wolf Mountain. The hike spanning several days, the two barbarians took turns carrying eachother upon their backs so that the one being carried would have a chance for rest, and the one carrying him would make up for his lack of effort. Up sheer cliffs, and through howling wind and freezing snow did Gonad carry Testiculese, and did Testiculese carry Gonad. With naught but their own bare flesh, they bore both the furies of nature and of the ravenous white wolf packs. After five days, they reached the summit, and together they struck down the terrible Alpha Wolf, an animal thirty feet in height. And then, back down again they went, the trip back to the base of the mountain taking another five days of hardship. Through these ten days in icy Hell, the bonds of brotherhood grew stronger than any metal that had ever been forged.
Age Twenty: Gonad claims to have had a triple digit kill-count and regularly strikes his face against rocks. Gonad regularly falls from twenty foot high cliffs. Gonad regularly takes mass beatings from his village as endurance training. Gonad regularly punches himself in the face. Gonad is made to tote a three-hundred and forty pound training rock at all times. Gonad regularly sets off on three-month long expeditions to seek strong opponents. It was at this time that Gonad created the "Hefty Fist" style of martial arts. By this time, Gonad had already met and tamed his second, third, and fourth wives; Chinga, Brokki, and Dronna, respectively.
Age Thirty: Gonad seeks immense physical stress by any means possible. He continues to go on three-month long expeditions from his village to seek out strong opponents. Gonad claims to have a quadruple digit kill-count. Gonad regularly carries a four-hundred and sixty-four pound training rock in his arms. Currently, Gonad has a total of eight wives, with the new additions being Thorungi, Krabbucka, Chugga, and Grukara. Over eight feet tall, and weighing nearly a quarter of a ton, Gonad's favored wife Chugga is both the strongest female and the second strongest warrior in the village. Having attended all of the tribal wars that occured in her lifetime, she herself had killed many men with her bare hands. Better known as the Seventh Wife of Gonad, she fought Gonad as viciously as any opponent Gonad had ever faced. It was by her hand that Gonad lost his left eye. Gonad was able to tame her after a bloody scrap that lasted over two hours.
As weakness had been beaten out of him at birth, it was not long before he became so well associated with hardship and pain that both feelings became an integral part of his personality. He enjoys agony and difficulty, and carries upon his shoulders the full weight of his village's pride and future. To Gonad, shame and fear are emotions that no longer exist. With adversity drilled into the very core of his being, through unimaginable effort he shaped his mind into an unbreechable iron hull filled with undepletable reserves of determination. Though not by any means distanced from other negative emotions, he still bears them with neither complaint nor angst and has never allowed himself to feel regret.
Gonad now travels the land endlessly, seeking nothing more than worthy opponents to fight. He fights for fighting's sake and for honor, the honor of both himself, and for the honor of those who are unable to defend themselves against the dishonorable. He has seen countless wars, killed countless enemies, made countless friends. To recount the barbarian's many adventures would be an exercise in futility, for the blood wrought odyssey of Gonad transcends time and experience.
So, right off the bat we're at a much more clear and concise clarification of physical abilities.
We've got the strength of a large grizzly bear, the speed of Bruce Lee + Usain Bolt, and innumerable feats to demonstrate his physical fortitude and ability.
As it stands, the comparison of speed and strength is levered in the favor of Gonad from the starting line. With no comparable feats for the Trygon, we can only assume "Better than normal animal." which is matched by a comparison to a specifically "Large Grizzly Bear" which is a better than normal animal, by definition.
Gonad too suffers from a case of descriptive information vital to the character's use in the physical description, but even moreso in his history. Take note, Doc, make sure to clarify what is usable in combat because if it's in the History or Character's Physical Description there can be confusion.
Especially in the case of Gonad, where his physical fortitude is described largely in the description of his appearance and less information is in the Abilities and Skills tab of his sheet.
From all of the accumulated information from this character sheet, I can conclude that Gonad has these attributes for just his physical state:
Strength superior to an average bear Striking speed comparable to Bruce Lee Running speed comparable to Usain Bolt Physical durability comparable to metal armor Pain tolerance that makes physical injury almost negligible Control over his blood vessels that makes blood loose irrelevant Fingers comparable to claws Grip strength comparable to a vice (Though with no clarification on how strong his grip is, it's not an applicable stat beyond "Better than a normal person.") And on top of that, he has an ability to double his physical stats by inducing a berserker rage which puts enough strain on his body as to tear muscles and shatter bones.
And then we see this.
If it's in 'Ripley's Believe It or Not' or 'Guinness World Records', Gonad can do it.
This implies that Gonad is singlehandedly capable of achieving the entirety of humanity's absurd feats. That's an incredibly long list of abilities that would nead clarification, especially since some are contradictory to one another.
He fights through experience and instinct, capable of reacting to attacks through muscle memory before he consciously registers them.
This is Gonad's bread and butter for this situation. But most notably because of two parts of two posts.
The human was on his back, virtually unprotected, and judging from the way he acted, a few eggs short of an Easter basket.
*Yet...*
When the Trygon got close enough, the barbarian wouldn't be regarding him with either surprise or fear. The hulking berserker's single eye stood out like a beacon, flat and hard, almost melancholy in its calm inspection, following the creature like one of those trick paintings in a haunted mansion that always seem to stare at you.
So here it states that Gonad watches its approach, consciously registering both its appearance and movement.
Here it states that it would be clearly visible, despite the distraction method of its disorientation magic.
These two, combined with the information that we have about Gonad and the Trygon, we understand that this gives Gonad sufficient time to both glare down and react to the movement made by the creature.
Since- A: The Trygon's speed is great, but not supernaturally so. B: Gonad's speed and reaction time are absurd. C: Gonad is aware of the Trygon's approach. D: The Trygon's post clearly states that both combatants would be aware of the Trygon's approach. And finally E: Gonad's reaction is superhuman when it comes to unconscious reactions, and even moreso when it comes to conscious reactions.
Closing Points:
Given all information about both characters and every post, I determine that Gonad's action is the more clear and self evident, while the other relies heavily on unclear information in the character sheet.
For a fair alteration so the fight doesn't immediately end due to a mistake, however, I would see fit as to pull back to This Post and rewrite the fight from that point with the knowledge that you have now.
Continuing from the point where the issue arose would be the most fair and entertaining to both parties, since if the argument persists one of you will automatically be eliminated. Either by judgment towards Gonad's brain stab or the Trygon's gut rending motion.
As it stands, however, Gonad's brain stab is the more likely of the two to be followed through.
Do as you will with the information I've gathered, but my judgement is in favor of @Doc Doctor
