I'm wanting to do a roleplay based in the fictional suburb of Homer Park. It's location is relevant, just know that the enirety of it will happen in Homer Park.

Physically it appears the size of a standard suburb yet sometimes it fills much bigger. In the middle of it there is a skyscraper of an apartment complex that stands awkwardly in the midst of normal sized buildings throughout the township. The main thing of note there, besides the occupants, is the empty room next to the laundromat which occasionally closes shut due to the forces on the other side; the door opens for a brief moment revealing stange lights, and if one enters then, they will find themselves in the company of ghosts. Officially, there is no reason for this happening; moreover, attempts have been made to permanently seal the entrance, only to find the work put upon the door displaced to another, previously working door. But that is just one building in Homer Park.

There is also the crazed bread pouch salesman who operates outside the suburb's namesake: Homer Park. Each bread pouch is filled with a substance that you can be assured hasn't been tasted by someone else at least in that day; sometimes gold, sometimes poison. The cunning man who matches the mad Baker is none other than his lawyer brother who first argured somewhat controversially not just for assisted suicide but for assisted homicide. " Suppose someone signs a contract that states that certain side effects are not to be the fault of the business owner. The value of the fried bread pouch is the... Surprise!" Mario used to own a general italian eatery before the feds got wind of his money laundering.

These aspects of Homer Park merely serve as an example for the kind of place Homer Park was, is, and always will be. A place that you leave to find that it's home again. In RP's based in this setting I will be playing a longtime resident of Homer Park with your character visiting for some reason.

The theme of the rolpeplay will start out slice of life but will gradually shift as more is revealed about the town. I will be playing a male character who will do romance with a female but otherwise the relationship will be platonic.

The character I will be playing is split into 3 personalities.

Ralph, who is the glasses wearing photographer who most people recognize from his curious flashing around town. Moreover, he moonlights as a dance instructor for the local Homer Park dance company. He has not had a formal college education; instead, Ralph entered into a series of adventures exploring his family's heritage, predominantly in Poland and Spain based on his parent's influence. He has one little brother, who being conceived after his adolescence never had a chance to become dear to or possess knowledge of his older brother's heart. Since this identity is only a part, he is not privy to the experience he was subjected to by his parent's, even praising how they stood by him during his therapy after the incident. Because of this, there are some things that Ralph will blank on, and the other two hardly ever come out. Ralph is the most stable.

There is also Ray, who is known as the watching hour killer. The dead who rise at that time, this phenomena only occuring in Homer Park, know to fear Ray as the negation of the hopes they may have in undeath. Anytime a criminal is sentenced to multiple deaths, it is in Homer Park where they are buried, where they rise again and again only for the agony that is the futility of their existence. Others have tried to take Ray's position as night watchman, and then they died. Ray is typically only active a few minutes before, and during the witching hour. He remembers the torture he went through, trapped in the empty room that often closed for no apparent reason, which is most assured, unofficially because of the ghosts. Publically, the supernatural aspects of Homer Park aren't addressed until they threaten to hit national T.V. Moreover, one can never be sure of how long the ghosts will seek to entertain the visitor; Ray had been able to leave several times, but his parents pushed him back in. Ray remembers how the spirits shared their torment, and though they cannot kill the living, the talons that had grown in his vigil had neared the extent of his life, each scratch intending bleed the flesh slowly as they were mightily burdened with hesitation. He does not remember the message the ghosts had for him, nor his ability to free himself from the shackes the gravity and the darkness around him. Lastly, Ray has been given special rights by the Homer Park Parks and Recreation department, namely the privilege of brazenly parading around town with his weapons designed specifically to kill those who are gonna rise tommorow only to die again because they kissed the wrong ass.

Finally, there is Raphael who is often mistaken an angel, but as anyone would correct that assumption as angels don't exist. I mean, sure he can fly, but those aren't proper wings. Not feathers, arms that elongate and flap like they are wings? No, definitely not wings. Anyways, Raphael hardly ever comes out; he is considered the karmic reaction to Ray's sadistic nature. Raphael remembers everything: the good, the bad, and the ugly. However, when things were finally starting to come back in focus something came upon him that split like a person never experienced before. Raphael understands the intention behind his parent's actions, no matter how misguided what they did after may have been. Of the personalities Raphael is the most direct, because he has been granted the least amount of time to interface with the world.
