The Realm of Deos

A realm nearly all but separate from Earth. The kind that inhabits this realm is what a mortal would comprehend as godlike.
Last names are not always used in Deos. If it is a powerful figure (they refer themselves as Deities) they would generally stick to one name. Those who serve under that Deity will take on a house name as their last name. The most powerful Deity in Deos have a affiliation with an attribute and have control over said attribute on Earth and in Deos. It was many of them who had created the mortal realm, all living beings there, and the afterlife. While many cultures have adopted their idea of Gods and Goddesses, they’re all referenced from these figures in Deos:

The Story Thus Far

You’re all labeled traitors to the realm after a failed revolution.
Many of you were executed for your felonies while the ones who weren’t too far up the chain of command were exiled to spend the rest of your life on the Earth realm.
One thing that holds you to this world and its rules of logic:

The Tether

The Tether

A magical and powerful bracelet that is meant to act like your ball and chain. It makes it so that your powers are non-existent in this mortal realm and keeps you stuck on Earth. The only thing that’s left is your immortality but as years turn to decades and decades to centuries, many of you begin to wonder whether if it’s a curse rather a blessing.

It’s now 2018, heading up to 300 years since your banishment. Some of you at this point have decided to end your life at the notion that there would be no hope of redemption. While the rest of you managed to find a reason to live among the mortals.
All you have ever wanted was a change within the society of ‘gods’. And while you all had different ideals on what that change would be, you were all fighting for a better life whether that be for yourself or for others. Yet who knew it would all end up like this? So you try to make the most of it here on Earth.

Until one day you’re all individually approached by a stranger. You feel like you’ve seen them before
But can’t put your finger on it. Whether you refuse to acknowledge their hospitality or become drinking buddies for the night. This stranger will end up telling you this: “There’s a danger coming to this world. A threat not meant to be even comprehendible to those not from Deos. And the head Deities in Deos don’t seem to care about what happens to this realm, it’s just a prison dump for them. So I beg of you, along with the others… please save this world !"
The news of this brings you to the thought of “What much can I do?”
After all except for immortality, the tether has trapped you in a human body.
And is this world really worth saving?
But the stranger seems to read your concern and answers: "There is a way to deactivate your tether without killing you. Help us, and I'll show you. "
The words coming from the stranger intrigues you. You're curious what it feels like to be as powerful as a god again. Do you accept this deal?

This is a story that's been in the works for a while. I'd like to thank those who have taken interest in this.
Some more details:

• The removal of your tether whether by force (or let’s say you wound up getting your hand chopped off) would be faced with a curse of death.
• The coup d’état failed for a mysterious reason
• When it comes to communication with one another, some would reunite every other decade while others have isolated themselves from the movement. (You can talk to one another if you would like to be acquaintances before the time that the story begins).
• You will essentially be playing either minor deities or followers of a deity. Either way you've all participated in the revolution for a specific reason.

• Follow the fundamental rules of the forum
• No godmodding without permission or power playing. When creating your ability I will determine whether or not it’ll be reasonable. (Yes we are essentially gods but for the purpose of this story power will be limited)
• Please be as active as you are able to:
  
  • If you have not posted in IC for more than a week without any notice or reason given we’ll move on without you. (Most likely killing off your character)
  • However, if you are stuck on what to post or need any help at all do not hesitate to send me a PM. I’ll try to help out as much as possible in order to keep this alive and going.
• My standards for this RP:
  
  • It’s a high casual RP so I expect at least 2 paragraphs each post. (aka 10 lines)
    So please try to avoid 1-3 lines for a post.
  • Spelling and grammar should be decent although I’m not a huge stickler, but if every other word in your post is misspelled correctly I’ll have to ask you to edit.
• Be fair, be nice, be kind. Disputes can be handled in PM, GM has final say. And no trolling. Have fun yo but don't ruin the fun for others.

My advice when you are choosing a picture for your character, shoot for semi-realism or real. It would best fit to the story but again, it’s completely up to you.
No need to include a detailed biography as I have something planned for everyone’s first post once we get started.

Unique Ability: (Keep in mind most Godkin have 3x the speed and strength of an average human. If your ability is going to be strength/speed based, add more detail to it.) You’ll also be starting out with this ability + skill traits locked until further in the story. And include a "peak" mode: Basically what your ability does at it's fullest power. Finally, I encourage you to make a ability that has multiple uses. You can take a look at my CS to see what I mean.

Tether Deactivation Event: (Describe what emotion or what your character needs to do in order for their tether to deactivate. Peak mode deactivation is seperate. Again see mine for an example. Your event cannot be something that happens 24/7 that would be unfair and boderline powerplaying.)

Personality: Enzo is the type of person who likes to think ahead. Because he is a son of Nyven, goddess of intelligence and logic; he is confident in his own ability. Though he is always willing to admit when he’s wrong, if he’s wrong that is. He believes brain over brawn and will try and settle disputes with words rather than violence. Enzo is a very cool-headed man and doesn’t hesitate to make even the toughest decisions. He is seem as intimidating but has the best interest for those close with him. Finally, Enzo views humans as potential locked beings. He enjoys challenging them to their limit and see what they can do.

Why Rebel?: His older brother was a commanding officer of the rebellion. Both he and Enzo believed in new change in Deos. They’ve observed humans down in the mortal realm and how far they’ve changed and improved over a course of just 200 years. While Deos has hardly ever changed in the last millennium. Many of the higher ups believe Deos is at its most perfect state but Enzo knew better.

Enzo can recall any form of knowledge and skill. He can perform anything perfectly even if he’s only watched it happen once.
He can summon holograms out of thin air, which he uses to either organize or use something as a visual.

At its peak Enzo can use another person’s ability if Enzo he seen that person use it. He can only use the ability of the last person he decides to copy from.
Tether Deactivation Event: Tether deactivates whenever Enzo is in “prep” mode. The peak of his ability is only activated when fighting is the last resort.

Personality: Calm, Cool and Collected, Gabanre likes to describe himself with these three C's. The traits he got from being trained as a sharpshooter and hunter. The fact that he has those three C's do not make it that he cannot get angry, he can for sure get angry, but that is only in extreme cases. And when he gets angry he gets really angry. Altough he doesn't lose himself in the anger but the shots of adrenaline surging through his body does make him seem like he lost control, the constrast is to big.
Why rebel?:
Gabanre tend to socialize with humans a lot. He likes them as people with dreams, hopes and desires. The biggest reason behind this is the fact that he used to hunt animals, which made him look upon humans from a different light, making them more interesting targets. Hunting only he does see as evildo'ers
Unique Ability:
Deadeye: Gabanre is capable of transfering visions into his mind, it doesn't steal the vision but rather gains him a copy. This allows him to spot things in a way he would never see them.
Gabanre is able to print these visions as a picture altough it requires him to have any form paper to form the picuture a small prop is already enough

At the peak of this power Gabanre is capable of utilizing this for compelete control over any for of mechanical instrument, altough only one at the time.

Tether Deactivation Event: If Gabanre gets really angry.
